Thank you for creating something for me! My username is forsworn. I requested both fic/art and trick/treat in nine fandoms, plus crossovers. Extra treats are welcome!

Trick likes: angst, whump, exploring haunted (or "haunted") locations and general spookiness.
Treat likes: fluff, hurt/comfort, smut, and seasonal vibes.

I'm happy with ratings from G to Explicit for sexual content and G to T for violence. (Blood is okay, pain is great, but I don't want exposed organs or bones poking out or things like that.) These two are both traumatised and both weighed down by duty in different ways - Simon, determined to keep the angry vow made to his terrible father, and Anthony, trying to shepherd the loving family he became head of far too young. Simon has a sharp tongue that rears up when he's hurting, but Anthony knows him better than almost anyone. Anthony might struggle with his forbidden feelings for Simon, but maybe as the eldest brother to seven younger siblings it's easy to slip into the role of protector. Considering the era, maybe there's a current of repressed sexual tension between them - or maybe they've already started a secret relationship. Could be during their Oxford days, when they're both rakes about town, or a no-wives AU, but I'd really like them to peel back their manly reserve to allow a little softness through.

Narrative Prompts

• Were they roommates at Oxford? Did they study together - and did those study sessions turn into something else? Or was it more late nights, getting drunk together, then waking up together?

Diana Prince/Steve Trevor

I love that they're both competent, but that Diana really got to shine as a badass - and that Steve, despite the attitudes of his time period, was impressed by her. Diana is so determined and forthright, but the culture clash and her mostly-theoretical knowledge means she starts off quite naive and has to learn how to deal with the complexities of the wider world. Steve is trying hard to be a good man and make a difference, but he's clearly seen terrible things during the war and he has to be haunted by them.

They make such a good team, both as adventurers and as a couple, and I'd love to see them in a happy established relationship. (Okay, angst is fine too. Especially if it results in hurt/comfort!) Feel free to do a canon divergence AU where Steve survives the first film, or else find some other way for them to be together and stay together. Or a missing scene. (Or just not explain how these two are back together, beyond the fact that they ought to be, damnit.)

Narrative Prompts

• Maybe they unknowingly formed a soulbond, and it means Steve can't die. Maybe he lives - but loses his memory? But the soulbond is still there, and draws them back together again.
  
• Diana has angsty, longing dreams about Steve begging for her help. But the more frequent they become, the more she begins to think they're not just dreams.
  
• Soft fluffy moments, once the world is saved. Cuddling, gentle kisses, being adorably domestic together...
  
• All the tropey and kinky uses of the lasso of truth. Seeing who can last the longest before blurting out "I love you"? Bondage rope to tie Steve up? Just kinking on the weirdly intense feeling caused by the lasso? Yeah.
  
• Show me that night in Veld. Obviously Diana had never been with a man before; had she ever been with anyone? And considering the time period, despite being a flirty spy Steve might not be that experienced either.

Alice Chambers

Alice is so clever and so determined, even when she's utterly out of her depth. I love seeing her succeed - as well as the drama and danger of her trying to escape things she doesn't fully understand. I'm also interested in fluffy moments with an undercurrent of uneasiness, where she's obliviously enjoying life in Victory - or whumpier times, as she starts to break down but can't share that with anyone and has to keep herself together to carry on investigating. Post-canon, missing scenes, and just prior to being forced into Victory are all good.

Narrative Prompts

• What happens when Alice leaves Victory? Does she go on the warpath, not realising Frank is already dead? Does she go into hiding, fearful of being arrested for Jack's murder? Does she stay, hoping to explain and reclaim her old life? How successful is she in any of these?
  
• I loved the creepy weirdness of her hallucinations, nightmares, and general mental troubles. Do these continue in the real world? Or you could delve deeper into them while she was still in Victory.
  
• Relaxing and having fun with Bunny, whether before her re-brainwashing or afterwards. What do they chat about while lounging by the pool? What was the best party they attended? How did they become friends in the first place?
  
• More of her investigating things in Victory, trying to confirm her suspicions and gather information. Who does she trust - and is that a mistake? Who does she pretend to trust?
  
• Not strictly a prompt in itself, but definitely something you could work into another prompt: worldbuilding! I have so many questions about Victory and how it works. What was causing the tremors? Was the crashing plane part of the simulation, or just in Alice's head? We know that the children aren't real, so who else is just a programme - the bus driver, the shop assistants, Frank's henchmen in red? Feel free to play with the inner workings of Victory.

Alice Chambers/Frank Carlson

I loved the mindfuckery aspects of this film, and Frank was so compellingly creepy that I both wanted to run away and couldn't take my eyes off him. Their intellectual rivalry and mind games, with Frank daring Alice to work out what's really going on, sparked such good chemistry between them, and I'd love to see more in that vein - or maybe Frank alters Alice's memory to keep her unknowing and compliant. If you want to do smut, I'm happy for it to be anywhere from noncon to dubcon to fully consensual (if maybe conflicted and/or filled with shame).

I'm fine with a missing scene, with canon divergence (Frank lives and Alice gets caught; Shelley escapes instead of Alice; Alice goes for a final showdown with Frank; etc) or with setting change AUs (it's the 1950s for real and Victory is developing a mind serum; Victory is a cult; Frank and Alice are teacher/student in the modern area, or at a magic academy, or in space; etc).

Considering the nature of the relationships in this canon, I have no problem with either Alice or Frank "cheating" on their partners. Also happy for Alice/Jack and Frank/Shelley to be happening in the background. Jack can be alive or dead (or you can kill him off again, if you're doing an AU) but if Shelley exists I want her to survive. (Maybe Shelley escapes instead, and Frank decides to claim Alice in her place?)

Narrative Prompts

• Frank catches Alice alone at a party, and as they talk the tension rises until he's kissing her up against the wall. Maybe he lets her go after teasing her - but not before calling her a "good girl" again.
  
• The next time Alice breaks through the brainwashing, she realises Frank has been wiping her memory over and over. But the more good memories she builds with him, the harder it is to keep hold of the bad ones.
  
• Is there such a thing as hurt/non-consensual comfort? Maybe Alice goes for a final confrontation with Frank - but she's injured, and he overpowers her. And then he insists on caring for her: bandaging her wounds, holding her close, brushing her hair from her face, kissing her forehead, gently touching her, or murmuring that everything's going to be alright... just looking after her in a way that's both soft and creepy, and which Alice doesn't want but can't refuse.
  
• Not strictly a prompt in itself, but definitely something you could work into another prompt: worldbuilding! I have so many questions about Victory and how it works. Did Frank code the software, design the hardware, or both? What was causing the tremors? Was the crashing plane part of the simulation, or just in Alice's head? We know that the children aren't real, so who else is just a programme - the bus driver, the shop assistants, Frank's henchmen in red? How much control does Frank have over Alice's memories? Feel free to play with the inner workings of Victory, for shippy reasons or otherwise.
  
• Frank has found a way to reveal soulmate marks in a world that never had them... or maybe he's actually found a way to forcibly create - or overwrite - a soulbond that didn't exist. Once Jack is gone, Frank tears apart her bond with him and forces Alice to be his soulmate instead.
  
• When Jack encourages Alice to join him on these new personal development courses he's got into, it seems harmless enough. But Frank, the leader of Victory Mindset, singles Alice out and tells her she has real potential. Alice slowly gets drawn into the spider's web, and by the time she realises just how dangerous and unhealthy Frank's methods for "helping" his followers are she's in so deep that getting out won't be easy... Or maybe, despite the unsettling feeling inside her, Alice never manages to see through Frank's mask at all.
  
• Alice was growing tired of Jack, but these days it's hard to remember why - he seems so magnetic now, and it's hard to question things when she's so much more tired than she used to be. She keeps waking up with two strange marks on her neck. And Jack's new friend Frank seems to have a power over him - and her - that she can't really explain. There's something about Frank's hypnotic eyes, and the way he looks at her like he wants to devour her...
  
• Frank is the headmaster of a college that teaches sex magic. Alice gets along with her partner Jack, but she can't help but be flattered by Frank taking a special interest in her - and suspicious about the costs and ultimate goals of the intimate magic he's teaching. Maybe Frank offers some personal tuition, tells Alice she's in danger of failing out, and/or asks for her help with a special spell. Maybe Alice discovers a dark truth at the heart of the college, but has to play along while she collects the evidence to prove it.
  
• A glitch in Victory's software has a sex pollen-like effect. And these two just happen to be in close proximity when it hits them.
  
• Alice hates Frank, hates the whole concept of Victory... but when he presses in close to her, she can't help but go weak at the knees.
  
• Omega Alice goes into heat, and with Jack away (or dead) she needs help from alpha Frank to get her through it. But being knotted by him is way more intimate than she bargained for.

That scene where Frank calls Jack up on stage to give him a promotion and slip a ring on his finger, man. Symbolic much? And then Frank pushes him into dancing for everyone. I can definitely see Frank giving compliments, singling Jack out, telling him he's special, etc and using that to steer or even coerce him into sex. Jack probably has a bit of hero worship for Frank, so I think he'd be susceptible, regardless of his feelings for Alice.

You could do this as a missing scene or maybe an AU of some kind. Did something happen when Frank and Jack went outside after the dinner party? Or what about at Frank's house: Alice finds Jack in Frank's dressing room, a bit dishevelled and playing with a tie... Had they just been doing something? Or I'm sure there are many other opportunities for them to have had a secret liaison.

Due to the nature of the relationships in this canon, I'm fine with cheating and breakups here. Also happy for Alice/Jack and Frank/Shelley (or even Alice/Frank) to be happening in the background. I'm not looking for noncon, but consensual or dubcon is good: maybe Jack is fully on board with everything Frank's doing, or maybe Frank slowly manipulates him into it.

Narrative Prompts

• After Frank gives Jack the ring on stage, they have a private celebration away from prying eyes.
  
• It's the 1950s for real and life in the town of Victory is perfect. But being near Frank gives Jack feelings he can't name and feels deeply guilty about - but desperately wants to act on.

Xenk Yendar

I love that Xenk is stoic but kind, that he's so serious but delights in banter, that he's deadly in battle but always guided by compassion and justice. He's just so Good, such an absolute paladin. But I love the angst of his backstory too: he's a man dedicated to goodness who's been touched by a terrible magic, who cares so much for people but lost his family and his home. Does he worry that he's cursed?

My headcanon is that Xenk is an Oath of Devotion paladin sworn to justice and protecting the innocent rather than any specific god. One part of that oath is a vow of honesty and I'd love to see an exploration of the ways Xenk upholds that, or bends around it. His very first line of dialogue is to evade Holga's question, so he clearly doesn't feel compelled to tell the whole truth to anyone that asks. And for all he's quick to tell Edgin about his tragic past, what he says (honourable men turned to monsters, parents turning on their child) and what we actually see (a child caught by the spell, his parents turning on him) are different in important ways. Clearly he keeps some things close to his chest.

Maybe Xenk struggles to get close to people in general. As this legendary paladin, people probably have this idealised version of him that they put on a pedestal - and then they get to see him in the quieter moments, when he's not being a heroic badass, and realise he's not flawlessly smooth and charming, but awkward and serious and bad at talking. Maybe a lot of people lose interest once they see the real him. And that's if he can convince them to see him as anything other than a cursed Thayan in the first place...

I know that in lore Thay is a slaving nation, but that's not shown in the film and for various reasons I DNW Xenk's backstory to be that he was a slave. Please just ignore that subject or say that his family were commoners.

Feel free to include any of the party, other paladins, random Harpers, Red Wizards, Thayans, or any other OCs you need to create a work that highlights him. (You can also use any of these prompts in the context of my requested Xenk ships.) I'm fine with both autistic and non-autistic interpretations of Xenk, or you can leave it ambiguous.

Narrative Prompts

• Was Xenk a squire to another paladin when he was young? Did he find their teachings helpful, or did he interpret his calling in another way? Maybe they ended up becoming a parental figure for him. No preference whether they were male or female, human or elf or dwarf or... Imagine them how you want, and show me what relationship they had.
  
• Anything playing with Xenk having a vow of honesty. Are the party careful not to abuse it, or do they accidentally back him into a corner because they don't know he has this vow? Does one of them pointedly ask him a yes/no question when they know he's hiding something really important? (Like, say, if he's really injured.) Can he only go undercover if he's very, very careful with his wording? What happens when it butts up against another of his vows: when to reveal the truth would put someone in danger, but saying nothing would just confirm the truth? Can he find a way around it?
  
• I love Xenk and thus I want him to be whumped. Xenk stoically (or not so stoically) suffering through torture, or battle wounds, or taking an injury to protect someone else... Tender comfort in the aftermath is also welcome, whether provided by the party or by the local Harper or the person he saved. Or maybe he has to clean himself up alone, but he's just relieved it's over. (Maybe he's not hurt, but sick? Does he unexpectedly suffer from seasickness?)
  
• Does he have nightmares about the Beckoning Death? Does he have PTSD? Is he haunted by the people he couldn't save? The prequel comic suggests he has survivor's guilt over his family...
  
• Red Wizards are obviously a hot button issue for Xenk. It's only when Simon mentions them that Xenk agrees to listen to the party. Has he ever been tempted by selfish revenge, and had to stop himself from making a terrible decision?
  
• Does the Beckoning Death affect how his healing magic works? Maybe he can't heal himself, only other people. Maybe healing someone is physically painful for him, but he'll always suffer through it for them.
  
• As well as the ships I've requested (Xenk/Edgin, Xenk/Doric, Xenk/Simon, Xenk/Edgin/Zia) I'd love some gen with Doric, Simon, Holga or Kira. Whether it's fluff about them celebrating Faerun's version of Halloween, hurt/comfort where Xenk has to heal them, hurt/comfort where Xenk is injured, them bonding during an adventure, or just some banter and hijinks - I'd be excited to see Xenk's friendship with one (or more) of them.
  
• What was Xenk doing with the Harpers in Mornbryn's Shield? What else has he worked with them on? Or what's the truth of those stories the party had heard about him: defeating the clerics of Talos, fighting in the Anauroch desert, taking down a Beholder with only a sharpened gourd... Really, just show me any adventure where he gets to be competent and compassionate. A paladin doing paladin things.

Doric/Xenk Yendar

We don't really get any focused moments between these two in the film, but Doric actually seems like the least hostile to Xenk from the beginning - ironic considering her stance on humans started as "hateful and selfish" and "just can't help but lie"... but then Xenk and his ridiculous paladin goodness are so obviously the opposite of that! If Xenk joined the party for further adventures, I like to imagine they'd become good friends.

I mostly imagine this pairing as sexual rather than romantic, with them indulging in some consensual casual sex or helping each other through a dubcon scenario. But if you want to sell me on their love story, go ahead! I headcanon Xenk as a virgin, and Doric could easily be one too - but maybe she has a bit of experience. Or maybe, if it's dubcon, Xenk is the experienced one gently looking after her.

(Please don't mention Simon and Doric breaking up. I'd rather you just ignore that ship or give them an open relationship.)

• Doric gets injured and tries to remain stoic as Xenk heals her, even though he has to press his hands to her bare skin. Or Xenk gets injured, and can't heal himself - but Doric knows a natural remedy, and the plant grows in this area. • Or maybe Doric's injury results in her collapsing, and Xenk catches her before she hits the ground. And the way he's holding her close, looking at her with such concern, sets her heart pounding...

Maybe he'll agree to skin-to-skin contact, but only because tieflings have a naturally higher body temp. Or maybe Doric convinces him that some casual sex is the best way to keep warm, and they both have a great time.
  
• While adventuring away from the others, they discover a magical grove that's slowly being corrupted. Both of them are eager to cleanse it, but then its guardians explain that the ritual magic would require the two of them to have sex.
  
• One or both of them gets hit by sex pollen, and there's nobody else around to help. Maybe Doric is practical and sees no reason not to have some fun together. Maybe Xenk is conflicted, wanting to help - or needing help himself - but reluctant to open up to her. But in the end he's too kind, or too desperate, to actually refuse it... even if he's a virgin.
  
• Omega Doric goes into heat and asks alpha Xenk to help her through it. Maybe he's a virgin and nervous about being so intimate - but he can't bear to see her suffering. While trying to recruit her, Edgin was definitely using all his charm (although not in a sexual way) but Doric seemed utterly immune to it. I loved the tender moment when Edgin was sitting on the rock on the beach: his little smile as she walked over, the way she gently patted his shoulder and he patted hers in return, and she smiled back. Maybe his charm would be more welcome now they have a genuine connection, or maybe she'd be the one to instigate it.

I'd love to see something fun and casual between them, some hesitant romantic feelings, or some dubcon (sex pollen, fuck-or-die, omegaverse heat, etc) where they look after each other and have no regrets after. Maybe Edgin would be a little worried about the age difference, but Doric is so blunt and practical that she wouldn't quietly do something she was uncomfortable with.

• I'd love to see more soft moments like the one on the beach. Maybe Doric talks more about her family or about how people treat her as a tiefling, and Edgin patiently listens before reassuring her. Maybe Edgin has a nightmare about Zia while Doric's on watch in their camp, and she sits with him while he calms down. Just a gentle moment of vulnerability between them, where Edgin drops his mask - but maybe not his jokes.
  
• Their latest quest means they have to pretend to be in a relationship. Maybe Edgin tries to get away with just holding her hand, concerned that kissing her would be going too far - but Doric insists she's comfortable with it. Maybe they have to fake having sex... or just agree to do it for real, no strings attached. Maybe they enjoy the roleplay but afterwards go back to being friends, or maybe it makes them wonder if they want to continue.

I can't tell you how excited I was to see a canon male-female relationship that will explicitly only ever be platonic, and yet is vitally important to their lives. I love how they clearly care for and respect each other, despite being so different, and how they use their different skills to achieve their goals together.

I would be happy to see anything about the two of them, set at any point from when they first meet to after the events of the film. Fluff, angst, hurt/comfort... All of it. I just want to see them bantering, working together, protecting each other, being best friends and co-parents. I love seeing little hints of affection peeking through Holga's gruffness, and I love Edgin feeling secure enough to drop his cheerful mask. But I also love them being genuinely happy together.

• Take pretty much any common trope that fandom does for romantic ships and shove these two into it, but make it aggressively platonic. They get hit with sex pollen but refuse to fuck! Telepathic soulbond but Edgin's only got a song stuck in his head! Fake relationship but Holga refuses to do more than hold hands! Omega Edgin goes into heat but alpha Holga's immune to his pheromones, and she protects him from all other alphas! etc. etc.
  
• Holga gets hurt and Edgin has to try and convince her to let him dress the wound. Maybe she initially tries to hide her injury. Or Edgin gets hurt or sick and Holga is his awkward caretaker, little bits of softness slipping through her usually gruff demeanour.
  
• "Not fortune found nor fate divine" seems to be Edgin's song of choice for cheering up Holga. Show me another time(s) when he sang it to her. Or maybe one where she sang it to him.
  
• Them raising Kira together, whether as a baby, a child or a teen. Teaching her to walk, teaching her to speak, teaching her life skills. Kira's milestones. Celebrating Kira's birthday. Did they ever disagree on how to parent her?
  
• Stuck in Revel's End together. Maybe Edgin tries to entertain Holga through the long boring days. Or it's even colder than normal and they have to cuddle for warmth. Maybe they angst together about missing Kira. Maybe Edgin braids Holga's hair for her.
  
• Or the other prisoners discover Edgin was a Harper and decide to punish him (with a beating or attempted noncon) and Holga has to rescue him, or prevents it from happening to begin with.

I have so many feelings about these two. I love their banter and how they spark off each other, how Edgin sees Xenk as an enemy but then grows to respect him and doesn't want him to leave, how Xenk is frustrated with Edgin's criminal tendencies but fully believes in his goodness and is determined to draw it out... Making Edgin swear on the Harper's seal, then tenderly touching his hand? In fact, all of the hand-holding, and the offers of hand-holding. I'd love to see how their relationship develops after the film, with a softer friendship blossoming into romance. (And more touching. Lots of touching. And banter.)

These two are so good for mutual pining. Maybe Xenk thinks he can't be with anyone because of his duty as a paladin, or because the Beckoning Death has left him cursed, partially undead, lacking part of his soul, etc. Maybe Edgin finds out Xenk is a virgin and assumes the guy isn't interested in sex at all. (I do headcanon Xenk as a virgin.) Or Edgin thinks Xenk's too noble and pure to want a criminal like him, or thinks Xenk wants someone more serious or more intellectual. Xenk thinking Edgin's too charming and sociable to want someone as awkward and unbending as him... I love the angsty possibilities of all this, the two of them keeping their feelings secret even as they're practically bursting with longing. Especially as both of them are so touchy-feely! They must be torturing each other.

I'd love anything from an emotional get together to established relationship PWP. From angst full of pining or about the scars they both have, to gentle fluff with bantering or cuddles or domesticity, to deliciously indulgent tropeyness, there are so many different ways you could take this. If there's smut, happy for it to be vanilla or kinky, fully consensual or dubcon (sex pollen, fuck-or-die, bad guys made them do it, omegaverse heat, etc)

I really like the idea of Edgin getting to be happy with Zia but also with Xenk, and Zia and Xenk being happy together too. So... AU where she never dies? Maybe Edgin stays a Harper and ends up working with Xenk, and they get closer, resulting in Xenk being drawn into the established marriage?

Edgin seemed a lot softer before Zia's death - and maybe less prone to hiding his feelings - and Zia seemed very sweet and understanding, and I'd love to see what kind of dynamic they develop with kind but serious Xenk. Would love to see them being domestic in the cottage at Targos, all helping to raise Kira, or - as Edgin and Holga managed to take young Kira on the road - maybe all three of them could have glorious adventures together, making the world a better place?

• Zia decides to take Kira and go with Edgin to the market that night. They see the Red Wizards riding to their cottage and make an escape - but the Red Wizards are still after them, so they have to take refuge with the Harpers... where a Thayan paladin promises to protect them.
  
• Or maybe Edgin never stole the Red Wizards' treasure at all. He remains a Harper, and gets assigned to work with Xenk. And the more time they spend in the field, the closer they become. And Edgin keeps coming home to Zia with all these stories of amazing Xenk the paladin... and Zia is very amused and encouraging.
  
• Maybe Edgin and Xenk are sent undercover together? Even as a couple? And they both pine guiltily, because Edgin is married, but what they're doing feels so real and so right... (Maybe the setup means Edgin can visit Zia some nights? Or write letters? Or maybe the whole mess of feelings only comes out when he returns home, and Zia has to sort them out?)
  
• I will forever love hurt/comfort for getting together. Maybe Xenk is injured and Edgin has to take him home, resulting in Edgin and Zia nursing him back to health. Or Edgin is injured and Xenk takes him to the cottage, but stays so his healing magic can recharge - or Zia insists he stays, because Xenk is wounded too?
  
• Accidental soulbond! Maybe between all three, maybe just between Edgin and Xenk, maybe it starts as Edgin and Xenk but they manage to add Zia... But due to the effect of some magical artifact, they can now hear each other's thoughts/feel each other's feelings/can't move too far from each other/all of the above.
  
• I'd also love some established relationship domestic fluff, with them all living in the cottage at Targos, raising Kira together.
  
• Or, as Edgin and Holga managed to take young Kira on the road, maybe all three of them could have glorious adventures together, making the world a better place?
  
• Totally down with smut too! What's their first time as a three like? Do they find the mechanics of it difficult to arrange? Is there a lot of laughing as limbs get tangled? Maybe Xenk's a virgin and gets a bit overwhelmed, and Edgin and Zia have to be gentle with him. What's the sex like once they get used to it? Do they indulge in some double penetration? Or maybe one of the guys goes in the middle, both penetrating and penetrated? Do they have some kinky fun? Maybe one (or two) domming the other(s)? Three people means lots of possibilities!

Simon Aumar/Doric

I love how soft Simon gets around Doric and I'd love to see her showing a softer side to him in return. (I do love Doric's spikiness though.) And I love that over the course of the film, she was very interested every time Simon's competency was shown or discussed - she was always into him, she just had this one dealbreaker, and then he fixed it! (Well, maybe he didn't entirely fix it: I love Simon having more confidence, but it might be nice to see him struggle a little - with Doric encouraging him, now she's convinced of his capability.) Does Doric have a competency kink?

Both of them have angsty pasts: Doric as a tiefling rejected by her parents, who's visibly an outsider wherever she goes; Simon as a sorcerer trying to live up to his family's long legacy of wizardry. Plus, as a half-elf, wherever he was raised, he was probably too human for the elves and too elven for the humans. As they get to know each other better, it'd be great to see them open up to each other about these things.

Maybe their courting is awkward at first, possibly hampered by Simon's tendency to break things or fall over, but I absolutely believe they're a good match and would love to see a happy relationship grow between them.

I tend to imagine Simon is a virgin, due to all his awkwardness at romance, and considering how disliked tieflings are Doric might be one too. But maybe she has some experience, and confidently reassures a nervous Simon.

Narrative Prompts

• Soft domestic times, whether at home or on the road. Cooking together, going shopping, changing the bedclothes, just relaxing by the fire. These two need some happiness!
  
• They're trapped during a snowstorm and Doric turns into an owlbear to keep Simon warm.
  
• Or Simon injures himself, maybe twists his ankle so he can't walk, or gets injured in combat; Doric turns into an owlbear to carry him.
  
• They both have family angst; maybe that comes to the fore when Simon runs into his wizard father, or has to work with a cousin - or asks Doric to attend a family reunion with him. I imagine he's not just a descendant of Elminster Aumar, but the sole sorcerer in a whole family of wizards. Does seeing the origins of Simon's lack of confidence help Doric understand (and support) him better? Does it help her open up about her own past more? Would love to see them bond over the experience and have some quiet, tender moments.
  
• Doric wraps her tail around Simon's arm while they're walking along, or cuddling in bed, or having sex.
  
• Going undercover as a married couple not only forces them to rely on each other to keep up their story and acquire the artifact/info/thing they came to get, but gets them thinking about the next stage in their relationship.
  
• Simon's wild magic spectacularly misfires and now they've swapped bodies/developed a telepathic soulbond/can't be more than five feet from each other without causing pain. Doric had barely settled into their tentative relationship, and this unexpected intimacy makes her feel very vulnerable - but despite his awkwardness, Simon is still soft and kind with her.
  
• Exploring and discovering each other's bodies and how different they are. Does Simon unsubtly start trying to steal Doric's tiefling warmth when it's cold? Does her tail communicate her feelings? Are her horns sensitive? They both have pointed ears - do the tips wiggle when they're embarrassed, or aroused, or orgasming?
  
• Doric pegs Simon. Maybe she suggests it and he's hesitant but ends up enjoying it, or he nervously requests it and she's happy to oblige.
  
• If you wanted to do dom/sub, I'm fine whichever way you assign the roles. Maybe Doric takes the lead because she loves to give Simon the pleasure he feels awkward about asking for, or because she enjoys the power; sub Simon might feel safe with someone else in charge, or have a praise kink and love the encouragement when he obeys. Maybe Simon is an awkward, nervous dom who's worried he's not dominant enough (or that even a bit of dominance is too much) and Doric is enthusiastically encouraging him.

This is such a great example of enemies to lovers. I love that they're kind and flirty at their first meeting, because they're immediately attracted to each other, and that even once they're enemies they can't hide that sexual tension. But their enmity is based on both seeking something only one of them can have rather than ideological differences: Nicholas seems more motivated by whether Mia's going to be a good queen and whether she really knows Genovia (and by his uncle's influence), and not a personal hunger for power. So once he's convinced of her capability (and she of his sincerity) and he gives up his claim to the crown, there's no question about whether they'd be able to find common ground.

I love both the push-and-pull of Nicholas flirting and Mia trying to resist (in the closet, by the fountain, the deleted scene in the kitchen) as well as them being soft and friendly with each other: Nicholas supporting Mia by helping with her archery, and the night they spend together before her wedding where we see them opening up emotionally, dancing close, and falling asleep in each other's arms. So I'd love a post-canon continuation of that as their relationship develops, or is fully established, or a missing scene while Nicholas is still living at the palace and they keep running into each other. Or maybe an AU?

I liked Andrew as a character so no bashing of him please, and it's fine to have Mia/Andrew's unromantic engagement happening in the background or to show them amicably breaking up. Also happy for Clarisse/Joe to be in the background, or for Lilly to visit again. Or cute appearances by Fat Louie the cat or Maurice the dog!

Narrative Prompts

• More of Nicholas cooking for Mia? So more of that: Mia causing minor chaos and Nicholas calmly dealing with it, or maybe a fall results in an intimate position that gets them riled up and means they spend the rest of an event jittering because they're desperate to be alone.
  
• I'd be interested to see how these two and their dynamic play out in other settings: steampunk AU, daemon AU, Hogwarts AU? Regency AU, where the scandal with Nicholas almost ruins her? Or Mia can't convince parliament to change the law and Nicholas has to marry her right then so she can keep the crown? Fantasy AU where they're both competing to be the next leader of a dragonrider battalion? Or a genderswap: how does the plot change if Nicholas is Nicola, and also needs to marry to get the crown?
  
• Presumably they're going to need children to be heirs to the crown, so anything to do with that. Soft fluffy moments during pregnancy as they look forward to their first child - or hurt/comfort where Mia has morning sickness and Nicholas looks after her. The joys of raising their kids together: maybe Nicholas using his skill for accents to read a bedtime story while Mia's heart melts? Or maybe some breeding kink smut, as they prepare to make that baby.
  
• Mia said she's never been in love before, so is she a virgin? Really enjoy both Bones despairing at young, reckless, flirty Kirk, and the more tender moments once Kirk mellows into a slightly-more-responsible captain, like when they're sharing the booze that Bones stole from Chekov.

Do they mutually pine over each other in silence, with Bones maybe believing Kirk isn't even into men? Or does Kirk proposition him while they're still at the academy and they become friends with benefits? How long does it take them to admit they have feelings and they want more? Or maybe it's only after they're already on their five year mission when they start to see each other that way - does a dangerous situation push them to confess?

Chekov is so fucking adorable. I love his earnest enthusiasm, his innocence, and his extreme competency despite his age - and how that fits with Kirk, who's older, more traumatised, and chafes against the rules, but strives to protect his crew. They work so well together, and I really enjoyed how much of Beyond was just the two of them out in the wilds, with a slightly more mature Chekov showing he can handle himself in the field.

Would love to see them as a couple, with Kirk's captainly urges to keep people safe translating into him being soft and tender. Does Chekov's enthusiasm carry over into an excitement to share new experiences, from dates in interesting places, to exploring new sexual possibilities with Kirk? Does Kirk initially try to hide his trauma from his younger partner? Or do they spend ages mutually pining, with both thinking the age gap means the other would never be interested? What finally gets them to confess - a bad injury, dubcon sex, or simply an inability to hold it in any more?

If they're having sex due to a dubcon scenario (e.g. sex pollen, omegaverse heat) you can set it any time after Chekov turns 18, but if they're in a romantic relationship please set it during or after Beyond, i.e. when Chekov is 22 or older.

I love that Pike was the first one to believe in Kirk - and the one who got Kirk to believe in himself. He finds this young guy losing a bar fight and tells him he can do more, be better, live up to not only his potential but his father's legacy. And Kirk hears that challenge and says no, I'll do even better than that.

But there's a tension between them: Pike encourages Kirk's out-of-the-box thinking and urge for heroics, but also expects him to follow the rules (or at least know which rules to break and when). Kirk wants that approval, wants to excel, but he's used to rebellion and reckless behaviour and is willing to risk more than other people are comfortable with. There's this push and pull where they're trying to find where the line should fall, and maybe that could play into how they are as a couple: not quite sure if their relationship is appropriate or it's going too far, if it's going to make Kirk a better man or screw him up more.

As a captain, Pike seems kind and steady but also willing to make unconventional choices, and he gives Kirk a chance to speak even when he's just stowed away on his ship. Kirk respects him and wants his respect in return but also chafes against the hierarchy of Starfleet. I'd love to see their relationship blossom into more, with Pike being encouraging but maybe also conflicted, and Kirk finding a sense of safety even as he's unsettled by commitment. Or maybe they have to rely on their platonic relationship to get them through a sexual encounter caused by sex pollen or alien demands or an omegaverse heat.

Not looking for daddy kink here but Kirk's daddy issues are welcome. He obviously has some trauma with regards to his father (and presumably his abusive stepfather) and that's part of why he is the way he is. But with everything that happens in space, they probably both have some trauma due to the terrible things they've seen, maybe even PTSD, and that could play into some hurt/comfort.

Maybe another meeting in a bar results in a mutual agreement to spend one night together. Maybe a new danger sends Admiral Pike back into space with Kirk, and one of them being injured or having a close call with death results in an admission of feelings?
  
• Kirk somehow time travels back and meets a Pike that's his own age - or maybe a bit younger. They have to work together to prevent some alien plot and/or get Kirk back to his own time, and feelings develop between them. Does Kirk have to hide who he really is, and listen to an oblivious Pike talking about his dissertation? Or does he explain, and then have to deal with everything young Pike projects onto him? It's not clear exactly how old Pike is, so maybe the timeline means that Kirk actually arrives before USS Kelvin is destroyed - and maybe while he's in the past he ropes Pike into preventing it from happening?
