General Likes:
  • Fluff. Domestic fluff. Hopeful spring vibes. Cosy autumn or winter vibes. Rainy evenings in. Lazy sunny mornings. Cooking together, eating together. The daily routines of travelling together longterm.
  • Banter. Getting together. Established relationship. Found family. Characters showing affection in their own way. Groups amusing themselves with jokes and stories while spending every day together. Characters trusting in each other's skills. Competence kink.
  • Holding hands. Cheek touches. Hand on the back of the neck. Hugs and cuddling. Kisses described in loving detail. Cheek kisses. Forehead kisses. Brushing fingers over lips.
  • Angst. Hurt/comfort. Mutual pining. Repression and self-denial. Intense sense of duty or loyalty. Complicated family legacies.
  • Dreams and nightmares. Truth spells. Telepathic bonds. Soulbonds, accidental or deliberate. Magical tattoos that show connections: soulmate marks, pistilverse, etc.
  • Forced proximity: stuck in a prison cell together, only one bed, trapped by a cave-in, hiding in a closet, handcuffed together, magic spell, etc.
  • Sparring and combat tutoring. Character A defending character B with character B's weapon.

Art Likes:
  • I enjoy a wide variety of styles: fully rendered paintings, clean lineart, loose sketchy lines, Disney, American comics, anime, chibi, art nouveau, stained glass...
  • Also enjoy most mediums: digital, pencil, ink, markers, watercolours, gouache, charcoal...
  • And lots of colour palettes: realistic colours, bright colours, pastel colours, monochrome, monochrome plus a splash of colour, earthy tones...
  • Any rating, from G to Explicit.
  • All of which amounts to: show me your style! Create what you're inspired to create, in the style that feels natural to you.

Art DNWs:
  • This is technically already covered by the "sex while in animal form" DNW above, but to be specific about how it applies to art: no furry/anthro porn please. (But non-porn furry/anthro is welcome!)

Hurt/Comfort Likes:
  • Emotional hurt/comfort. Physical hurt/comfort. Whump. Mild hurt/comfort.
  • Nightmares. Flashbacks. Crying. Staying with character B as they fall asleep.
  • Impact bruises. Being manually choked. Twisted ankles.
  • Stab wounds. Arrow wounds. Pulling the arrow out. Nosebleeds as fight injury. Grazes and abrasions.
  • Seasickness. Vomiting (not sexualised, not onto anyone). "Oh no, that thing you just ate was poisoned."
  • Magical torture, psychic torture, and other kinds of pain inflicted without harming the body.
  • Bedside vigils. Holding injured character close. Carrying or supporting someone who can't walk. Character A catching character B as they collapse (even if character A isn't strong enough to hold them up and just helps slow their descent to the floor). Helping injured character undress, remove armour, etc.
  • Struggling through sex pollen/an omegaverse heat/etc without having sex, only giving non-sexual comfort for the symptoms.
  • The awkward vulnerability of comfort requiring a new level of intimacy.
  • Stern/gruff characters making tiny gestures as a comforter and the comfortee understanding that significance. A comforter understanding when the comfortee only wants tiny gestures, and the comfortee being grateful for that understanding. People who are comfortable with each other giving and accepting large amounts of comfort.
  • Stoic hurt characters refusing to break down. Stoic hurt characters letting it all out.
  • I love both the hurt and comfort parts of the equation! Go heavy on one part and less on the other, or have an equal mix of both.

Smut Likes:
  • Positions: Missionary, riding and other face-to-face positions, for eye contact and/or lots of kissing. But spooning pairs well with gentle sex, and oral fingering's probably more easily done from behind.
  • Locations: In bed, in a chair, against a wall, on the floor... In the bedroom, in the living room, in an alley, in a forest, in a dungeon, on a ship, on the victorious battlefield... Basically anywhere? Yeah.
  • Acts: Anal sex, including het anal. Vaginal sex. Loss of virginity. First time bottoming. Pegging. Strap-ons. Deepthroating. Oral fingering. Kissing during sex. Breastplay (fondling, gently squeezing, kissing). Nippleplay (pinching, kissing, licking).
  • Moods: Gentle sex. Tender sex. Fluffy sex. Hurt/comfort sex. Sex with lots of feelings. Vulnerability and trust.
  • BDSM: Dom/sub. Bondage. Pinned down. Kneeling. Collaring. Praise kink. Orgasm delay/edging. BDSM AUs.
  • Dubcon: Sex pollen. Fuck or die. Sex caused by magic or to perform magic. Pining during dubcon. (Whether they admit their feelings during, after, or not at all.) Having to trust each other with the unexpected intimacy. Worrying about being so vulnerable but being kind to each other and coming out stronger on the other side.
  • Size kink and stretching: Big cocks. Painful penetration. Lots of foreplay/prep, slow and gentle penetration so it isn't painful. Large object insertions. Sounding.
  • Omegaverse: Alpha/Omega. Painfully big alpha dicks. Knotting. Sexy pheromones. Pheromones that communicate fear, or anger, or other emotions. Alpha pheromones that make the omega feel safe, or protected, or calm.
  • An undercover situation requires them to fuck while being watched, but they successfully fake it - except the kisses, the touches, the proximity, and the "is it okay if I..." questions whispered right in each other's ears were all very real. And some of those moans didn't sound fake. Either they're so wound up they fuck for real once they're no longer being watched, or the feelings keep simmering until they boil over later.

Simon Basset/Anthony Bridgerton

These two are both traumatised and both weighed down by duty in different ways - Simon, determined to keep the angry vow made to his terrible father, and Anthony, trying to shepherd the loving family he became head of far too young. Simon has a sharp tongue that rears up when he's hurting, but Anthony knows him better than almost anyone. Anthony might struggle with his forbidden feelings for Simon, but maybe as the eldest brother to seven younger siblings it's easy to slip into the role of protector. Considering the era, maybe there's a current of repressed sexual tension between them - or maybe they've already started a secret relationship. Could be during their Oxford days, when they're both rakes about town, or a no-wives AU, but I'd really like them to peel back their manly reserve to allow a little softness through.

Accidental soulbond forces physical proximity How do they deal with the practical aspects as well as the emotional ones? How long before Simon starts snarking?
A faints into B's arms Due to sickness, a hangover, having been in a fight, whatever. I love this trope, even if the catcher isn't strong enough to hold the fainter up and can only slow their descent to the floor.
Hurt/Sick Person too weak to walk - needs to be held up or carried Again: sickness, drunkenness, injury... No preference for which one is helping the other.
Sharing sleeping space with others leads to reveal of nightmares I will never get enough nightmare-themed hurt/comfort. Maybe while roommates at Oxford? (Or any reason you think works.) And one of them has a nightmare about his father?
Waiting for the knot to go down No preference for who's the alpha and who's the omega. Is it a quiet and tender time, unexpectedly intimate and awkward, or comfortable and full of banter?

Diana Prince/Steve Trevor

I love that they're both competent, but that Diana really got to shine as a badass - and that Steve, despite the attitudes of his time period, was impressed by her. Diana is so determined and forthright, but the culture clash and her mostly-theoretical knowledge means she starts off quite naive and has to learn how to deal with the complexities of the wider world. Steve is trying hard to be a good man and make a difference, but he's clearly seen terrible things during the war and he has to be haunted by them.

They make such a good team, both as adventurers and as a couple, and I'd love to see them in a happy established relationship. (Okay, angst is fine too. Especially if it results in hurt/comfort!) Feel free to do a canon divergence AU where Steve survives the first film, or else find some other way for them to be together and stay together. Or a missing scene. (Or just not explain how these two are back together, beyond the fact that they ought to be, damnit.)

Accidental soulbond forces physical proximity How do they deal with the practical aspects as well as the emotional ones? Especially if this is an AU of the first film.
Bringing someone back from the dead means they have to stay around their reanimator Diana didn't want Steve to leave her... and now he can't. Maybe at first they're too happy to mind - but it soon poses problems, especially if adventure comes calling.
A faints into B's arms Maybe Steve's sick, or injured, or exhausted - or maybe something magical is affecting Diana.
Hurt/Sick Person too weak to walk - needs to be held up or carried Is this in a calm, post-battle situation - or are they in danger, and have to hurry?
Shows up in every dream every night Pre-canon, while they're together, or post-canon... Whichever one is dreaming (or both? are they actually shared dreams?), it could be a soulmate thing, otherwise magical somehow, or just because their brain won't let them escape these new feelings.
Waiting for the knot to go down Maybe Diana has a reverse knot? Or she could have a knotting cock. Is it a sweet and tender time where they savour the intimacy, or intense and overwhelming?

Fifteenth Doctor/Rogue

Reserved, intense Rogue and fun, compassionate Doctor. They both know what it is to lose someone - and each other. I was so taken with their short romance and really want to see them back together. What happens after they reunite? How many new scars have they gained - or will they gain in the course of adventuring together?

Accidental soulbond forces physical proximity How do they deal with the practical aspects as well as the emotional ones? Maybe they're more worried about its impact on adventuring than on them? Or maybe, after being trapped in a void dimension, Rogue finds the limitations suffocating - or he's secretly pleased that the Doctor can never leave him alone?
A faints into B's arms Due to injury, sickness, weird alien shenanigans - whatever.
A falls asleep on B's shoulder so B can't move Maybe it happens on the Tardis after an exhausting adventure, maybe it happens in the middle of an exhausting adventure, or maybe it's just a gentle quiet moment together.
Sharing sleeping space with others leads to reveal of nightmares I will never get enough nightmare-themed hurt/comfort. Willingly sharing a bed on the Tardis, There Was Only One Bed scenario, or locked up together by baddies?
Waiting for the knot to go down Maybe it's an omegaverse... Or maybe Time Lords just have knots? Or maybe Rogue, while he looks human, secretly isn't? No preference for which one is getting knotted! Is it an awkward, overwhelming and/or tenderly intimate time?

Alice Chambers/Frank Carlson

I loved the mindfuckery aspects of this film, and Frank was so compellingly creepy that I both wanted to run away and couldn't take my eyes off him. Their intellectual rivalry and mind games, with Frank daring Alice to work out what's really going on, sparked such good chemistry between them, and I'd love to see more in that vein - or maybe Frank alters Alice's memory to keep her unknowing and compliant. If you want to do smut, I'm happy for it to be anywhere from noncon to dubcon to fully consensual (if maybe conflicted and/or filled with shame).

I'm fine with a missing scene, with canon divergence (Frank lives and Alice gets caught; Shelley escapes instead of Alice; Alice goes for a final showdown with Frank; etc) or post-canon with Frank lingering somehow.

Considering the nature of the relationships in this canon, I have no problem with either Alice or Frank "cheating" on their partners. Also happy for Alice/Jack and Frank/Shelley to be happening in the background. Jack can be alive or dead but if Shelley exists I want her to survive. (Maybe Shelley escapes instead, and Frank decides to claim Alice in her place?)

Accidental soulbond forces physical proximity Maybe it takes effect inside Victory - or maybe in the real world, and Frank has to go in search of Alice's body (or arranges for her to be sent to him)?
Bodysharing - accidental or involuntary Maybe it's a glitch in Victory, and they somehow end up controlling the same avatar (his or hers). Or maybe Frank had a failsafe, and in the event of his death Victory was programmed to download his personality into the next person to exit - which was Alice.
A faints into B's arms Alice tries not to let it happen, but she's too sick/exhausted/glitched and she collapses into Frank's arms - while he's delighted, and creepily gentle with her?
Shows up in every dream every night Maybe while she's in Victory (because we know she was having weird dreams) - or maybe after she's escaped, and she's not sure if it's just trauma or if Frank is lingering somehow.
Waiting for the knot to go down Alpha Frank knots omega Alice - maybe it's consensual, or maybe it's not, but now they're stuck together for a while.

Edgin Darvis/Xenk Yendar

I have so many feelings about these two. I love their banter and how they spark off each other, how Edgin sees Xenk as an enemy but then grows to respect him and doesn't want him to leave, how Xenk is frustrated with Edgin's criminal tendencies but fully believes in his goodness and is determined to draw it out... Making Edgin swear on the Harper's seal, then tenderly touching his hand? In fact, all of the hand-holding, and the offers of hand-holding. I'd love to see how their relationship develops after the film, with a softer friendship blossoming into romance. (And more touching. Lots of touching. And banter.)

These two are so good for mutual pining. Maybe Xenk thinks he can't be with anyone because of his duty as a paladin, or because the Beckoning Death has left him cursed, partially undead, lacking part of his soul, etc. Maybe Edgin finds out Xenk is a virgin and assumes the guy isn't interested in sex at all. (I do headcanon Xenk as a virgin.) Or Edgin thinks Xenk's too noble and pure to want a criminal like him, or thinks Xenk wants someone more serious or more intellectual. Xenk thinking Edgin's too charming and sociable to want someone as awkward and unbending as him... I love the angsty possibilities of all this, the two of them keeping their feelings secret even as they're practically bursting with longing. Especially as both of them are so touchy-feely! They must be torturing each other.

I'd love anything from an emotional get together to established relationship PWP. From angst full of pining or about the scars they both have, to gentle fluff with bantering or cuddles or domesticity, to deliciously indulgent tropeyness, there are so many different ways you could take this. If there's smut, happy for it to be vanilla or kinky, fully consensual or dubcon (sex pollen, fuck-or-die, bad guys made them do it, omegaverse heat, etc)

Accidental soulbond forces physical proximity How do they deal with the practical aspects as well as the emotional ones? Does it make adventuring difficult? Are they annoyed by it - or (secretly) pleased?
Character gets flustered by a character they have a crush on touching them to treat their wounds Whether it's Xenk healing Edgin, Edgin finding a mote of bardic magic to heal Xenk, or one bandaging the other because they've been cuffed/run out of magic/whatever.
Cuddle Pollen They're both very touchyfeely... That doesn't mean they'd be pleased about needing to hug for an extended period of time. (Or, at least, that they'd admit being pleased.) No preference for which one is affected, or it could be both.
Delirious A only calms when holding B's hand Holding hands is such a motif for them, so obviously if one was feverish it'd need to happen. Don't mind which it is!
A faints into B's arms I love this trope, even if the catcher isn't strong enough to hold the fainter up and can only slow their descent to the floor. Could be injury, sickness, exhaustion, weird magic, etc. No preference for which way around.
Huddling For Warmth In a cold cave, a snowed-in cabin, after one falls in some water - whatever the reason, this trope is a classic.
The Only Way Out Of This Situation Is To Pretend To Have Sex Undercover as a couple maybe? Or being watched for some other reason. And the intimate touches and "is it okay if I..." whispers get them riled up.
Sharing sleeping space with others leads to reveal of nightmares There Was Only One Bed scenario? Or maybe just sleeping around the campfire, and one of them is on watch when the other wakes up in a panic?
Waiting for the knot to go down No preference for who's the alpha and who's the omega. Is it a quiet, tender time where they savour the intimacy, or do they chat - or maybe banter?

Ralen/Jacqueline "Jax" Zhou

Ralen is so awkwardly earnest but has so many secrets; Jax is so fiercely open and unguarded but has so much angst. I loved the instant connection between them and wish it could've been more than just unrequited love on his part. I thought they worked really well together as friends, and would love to see that continue and blossom as they become a couple.

(Please make this an AU where Ralen was never married to Matta!)

Accidental soulbond forces physical proximity Maybe it's a Pandora thing, maybe a Zatarian thing, maybe the result of some weird tech they find - or something the Frieds do to them. How do they deal with the practical aspects as well as the emotional ones?
A faints into B's arms This happens in canon, so maybe you could use that (esp for art!) - but I'd love to see it happen a second time, whether due to sickness, injury, exhaustion, weird happenings, whatever. No preference for which one faints! I love this trope, even if the catcher isn't strong enough to hold the fainter up and can only slow their descent to the floor.
Injured A Can't Walk Without B's Help No preference for which one is injured!
The Only Way Out Of This Situation Is To Pretend To Have Sex Maybe they're undercover as a couple? Or being watched for some other reason. And the intimate touches and "is it okay if I..." whispers get them riled up.
There Was Only One Bed Maybe they get trapped on another planet after going through a portal, and there's only one bed. Maybe Ralen insists Jax takes it, and Jax insists they share - and Jax wins.
Waiting for the knot to go down Maybe Zatarians just have knots? Or maybe it's an omegaverse - no preference for which is alpha and which is omega. (And alpha Jax could have a knotting cock, or just reverse knot Ralen.) Is it a quiet and tender time, intense and overwhelming, or comfortable and full of banter?

Xander Duvall/Ralen

I can very much see these two getting together post-canon, with the way the show threw them together. Maybe it'd be an angsty affair in the shadow of losing Jax (and Matta), or maybe it'd be a slow progression that only tips over once they've started to heal. I loved the tension they were capable of having, but I'm also really into the softer, more respectful relationship they slowly built, and I'd love to see that trust blossom into love.

Accidental soulbond forces physical proximity Maybe it's a Zatarian thing, maybe the result of some weird tech they find - or something the Frieds do to them. How do they deal with the practical aspects as well as the emotional ones?
A faints into B's arms Could be sickness, injury, exhaustion, weird happenings, whatever. No preference for which one faints!
Injured A Can't Walk Without B's Help No preference for which one is injured!
The Only Way Out Of This Situation Is To Pretend To Have Sex Maybe they're undercover as a couple? Or being watched for some other reason. But the intimate touches get them riled up...
There Was Only One Bed Trapped on an alien planet, caught and imprisoned, or just travelling on a very small ship - but there's only one bed.
Waiting for the knot to go down Maybe Zatarians just have knots? Or maybe it's an omegaverse - no preference for which is alpha and which is omega. Is it a quiet and tender time, intense and overwhelming, or comfortable and full of banter?

Nicholas Devereaux/Mia Thermopolis

This is such a great example of enemies to lovers. I love that they're kind and flirty at their first meeting, because they're immediately attracted to each other, and that even once they're enemies they can't hide that sexual tension. But their enmity is based on both seeking something only one of them can have rather than ideological differences: Nicholas seems more motivated by whether Mia's going to be a good queen and whether she really knows Genovia (and by his uncle's influence), and not a personal hunger for power. So once he's convinced of her capability (and she of his sincerity) and he gives up his claim to the crown, there's no question about whether they'd be able to find common ground.

I love both the push-and-pull of Nicholas flirting and Mia trying to resist (in the closet, by the fountain, the deleted scene in the kitchen) as well as them being soft and friendly with each other: Nicholas supporting Mia by helping with her archery, and the night they spend together before her wedding where we see them opening up emotionally, dancing close, and falling asleep in each other's arms. So I'd love a post-canon continuation of that as their relationship develops, or is fully established, or a missing scene while Nicholas is still living at the palace and they keep running into each other.

I liked Andrew as a character so no bashing of him please, and it's fine to have Mia/Andrew's unromantic engagement happening in the background or to show them amicably breaking up. Also happy for Clarisse/Joe to be in the background, or for Lilly to visit again. Or cute appearances by Fat Louie the cat or Maurice the dog!

Accidental soulbond forces physical proximity How are they going to hide it - and survive their irritation - if this happens while they're still enemies?
Cat is asleep on both A & B's laps so they can't move Some post-canon cuteness when Fat Louie accidentally traps them there - or maybe deliberately, if this is a missing scene, and he's trying to be a feline matchmaker.
A faints into B's arms I love this trope, even if the catcher isn't strong enough to hold the fainter up and can only slow their descent to the floor. No preference for which way around. Could be sickness, exhaustion after a long day of royal duties, whatever.
Huddling under an umbrella Post-canon maybe, while they're waiting for an event - or maybe they snuck off for some time alone, only it started raining?
Trapped In A Closet Could be an AU of the closet scene, only they get trapped, or a second incident - but it doesn't go any better than the first.
Waiting for the knot to go down No preference for which is alpha and which is omega. (And alpha Mia could have a knotting cock, or just reverse knot Nicholas.) Is it a quiet and tender time, intense and overwhelming, or comfortable and full of banter?

James T. Kirk/Leonard "Bones" McCoy

I love Bones and his sassy grumpiness, and how under that he clearly cares (though possibly he wishes he didn't). Kirk starts off rebellious and traumatised, but obviously has a keen mind and an urge to protect people. Really enjoy both Bones despairing at young, reckless, flirty Kirk, and the more tender moments once Kirk mellows into a slightly-more-responsible captain, like when they're sharing the booze that Bones stole from Chekov.

Do they mutually pine over each other in silence, with Bones maybe believing Kirk isn't even into men? Or does Kirk proposition him while they're still at the academy and they become friends with benefits? How long does it take them to admit they have feelings and they want more? Or maybe it's only after they're already on their five year mission when they start to see each other that way - does a dangerous situation push them to confess?

(No preference for whether you call them Jim/Bones or Kirk/McCoy, use what you prefer.)

Accidental soulbond forces physical proximity How do they deal with the practical aspects as well as the emotional ones? Is this while they're exploring space, or back at the academy?
Cuddle Pollen They're friends, but there's a certain point beyond which it becomes awkwardly intimate, and this definitely crosses that.
A faints into B's arms Could be due to injury, sickness, exhaustion, weird alien tech, etc. No preference for which way around.
The Only Way Out Of This Situation Is To Pretend To Have Sex Maybe they're undercover as a couple due to the rules of an alien culture, or maybe the aliens want them to take part in a ritual, or whatever - but they need to fake having sex. But the intimate touches feel so real...
Waiting for the knot to go down No preference for who's the alpha and who's the omega. Is it a quiet and tender time, intense and overwhelming, or comfortable and full of banter?

Pavel Chekov/James T. Kirk

Chekov is so fucking adorable. I love his earnest enthusiasm, his innocence, and his extreme competency despite his age - and how that fits with Kirk, who's older, more traumatised, and chafes against the rules, but strives to protect his crew. They work so well together, and I really enjoyed how much of Beyond was just the two of them out in the wilds, with a slightly more mature Chekov showing he can handle himself in the field.

Would love to see them as a couple, with Kirk's captainly urges to keep people safe translating into him being soft and tender. Does Chekov's enthusiasm carry over into an excitement to share new experiences, from dates in interesting places, to exploring new sexual possibilities with Kirk? Does Kirk initially try to hide his trauma from his younger partner? Or do they spend ages mutually pining, with both thinking the age gap means the other would never be interested? What finally gets them to confess - a bad injury, dubcon sex, or simply an inability to hold it in any more?

If they're having sex due to a dubcon scenario (e.g. sex pollen, omegaverse heat) you can set it any time after Chekov turns 18, but if they're in a romantic relationship please set it during or after Beyond, i.e. when Chekov is 22 or older.

(No preference for whether you call them Jim/Pavel or Kirk/Chekov, use what you prefer.)

Accidental soulbond forces physical proximity How do they deal with the practical aspects as well as the emotional ones? Do they have time to talk it out, or are they in the middle of a crisis?
Cuddle Pollen Presumably they're trapped alone on an alien planet, for Reasons. But one of them really, really needs to cuddle the other. Or maybe they're both afflicted!
A faints into B's arms I love this trope, even if the catcher isn't strong enough to hold the fainter up and can only slow their descent to the floor. Could be injury, sickness, exhaustion, weird alien tech, etc.
Is it a quiet and tender time, intense and overwhelming, or comfortable and relaxed?

James T. Kirk/Christopher Pike

I love that Pike was the first one to believe in Kirk - and the one who got Kirk to believe in himself. He finds this young guy losing a bar fight and tells him he can do more, be better, live up to not only his potential but his father's legacy. And Kirk hears that challenge and says no, I'll do even better than that.

But there's a tension between them: Pike encourages Kirk's out-of-the-box thinking and urge for heroics, but also expects him to follow the rules (or at least know which rules to break and when). Kirk wants that approval, wants to excel, but he's used to rebellion and reckless behaviour and is willing to risk more than other people are comfortable with. There's this push and pull where they're trying to find where the line should fall, and maybe that could play into how they are as a couple: not quite sure if their relationship is appropriate or it's going too far, if it's going to make Kirk a better man or screw him up more.

As a captain, Pike seems kind and steady but also willing to make unconventional choices, and he gives Kirk a chance to speak even when he's just stowed away on his ship. Kirk respects him and wants his respect in return but also chafes against the hierarchy of Starfleet. I'd love to see their relationship blossom into more, with Pike being encouraging but maybe also conflicted, and Kirk finding a sense of safety even as he's unsettled by commitment. Or maybe they have to rely on their platonic relationship to get them through a sexual encounter caused by sex pollen or alien demands or an omegaverse heat.

Not looking for daddy kink here but Kirk's daddy issues are welcome. He obviously has some trauma with regards to his father (and presumably his abusive stepfather) and that's part of why he is the way he is. But with everything that happens in space, they probably both have some trauma due to the terrible things they've seen, maybe even PTSD, and that could play into some hurt/comfort.

If you set this during or after Into Darkness please go AU and have Pike live! (No preference for whether you call them Jim/Christopher or Kirk/Pike, use what you prefer.)

Accidental soulbond forces physical proximity How do they deal with the practical aspects as well as the emotional ones? Do they have time to talk it out, or are they in the middle of a crisis?

Waiting for the knot to go down No preference for who's the alpha and who's the omega. Is it a quiet and tender time, intense and overwhelming, or comfortable and relaxed?

James T. Kirk/Montgomery "Scotty" Scott

I love that Scotty is almost immediately loyal to Kirk, and that Kirk absolutely relies on him to get things done - even when Scotty's already resigned. And Scotty might complain, but he'll still rush to help him. I love how Scotty swings between almost innocent cheerfulness that turns to grumpiness when he feels unappreciated, and the humorous possibilities of that with his charming, flirty, almost reckless captain. Kirk's a good leader, but he's got trauma lurking beneath the surface, and I think Scotty would be kind with that. And they're both brilliant in their own ways.

Accidental soulbond forces physical proximity How do they deal with the practical aspects as well as the emotional ones? Does Kirk have to captain the ship from engineering - or does this happen in the middle of a crisis, stuck on an alien planet?
Cuddle Pollen Presumably they're trapped alone on an alien planet, for Reasons. But one of them really, really needs to cuddle the other. Or maybe they're both afflicted!

Waiting for the knot to go down No preference for who's the alpha and who's the omega. Is it a quiet and tender time, intense and overwhelming, or comfortable and full of banter?

James T. Kirk/Spock

Reserved, logical, secretly emotional Spock vs charming, rebellious, almost reckless Kirk. Loved their development from enemies to trust, loyalty and understanding (mostly) - and would love to see that continue to grow. When they work together they make a great team, despite (because of) being such different people.

Daniel Jackson/Jack O'Neill

I love Jack's humour, how he leads even as mocks the hierarchy, and his quiet willingness to do bad things for good causes. I love Daniel's grumpy compassion, his intellectual pursuits, and how he despairs of Jack but wears him down in turn. They develop such trust and respect, and I'd love to see them as a couple.

Have to keep hidden and quiet in small Space to avoid Discovery It's better to hide rather than fight - but can they resist bantering (or other things) while pressed so close?
Huddling For Warmth Trapped on a snow planet, accidentally activated some alien tech that made them cold, fell in some water - whatever they reason, they need to warm up.
Undercover as a Couple and under close Observation - must make it look convincing For some reason, the people on this planet require them to be a couple - and they've got to make it believable.

Daniel Jackson/Vala Mal Doran

I love the dynamic of Daniel's weary goodness vs Vala's cheerful moral greyness. She's trying to be better - but change is hard, and so is being vulnerable. Love the banter and tension between them, and would love to see some softness too.

Franklin "FDR" Foster/Tuck Hansen

I love these two and the dynamic they have: working smoothly together, protecting each other in danger, happily declaring their love for each other, bantering, hanging out. They're deeply competitive but deeply loyal, though there's also a fragility to their friendship. They're such different people - smooth, flirty FDR who hides his angsty past, and earnest, romantic Tuck who's longing for love but doesn't know how to find it - but they have such an easy rapport and genuinely like each other. (Except when they don't.)

They also do a lot of terrible things - for their jobs, but also socially - and I'm fine with that being acknowledged, in a "they're the same kind of terrible, and therefore perfect for each other" sort of way. But feel free to ignore that thread.

Handcuffed Together Their mission's gone sideways and now they're handcuffed together. How do they fight, how do they escape, how much do they banter once they're safe?
Hurt/Sick Person too weak to walk - needs to be held up or carried Is this in a calm situation - or are they in danger, and have to hurry?
The Only Way Out Of This Situation Is To Pretend To Have Sex Maybe they're undercover as a couple? Or being watched for some other reason. But the intimate touches get them riled up...
There Was Only One Bed Maybe a mission's gone wrong and they have to hide somewhere with only one bed. Maybe they're undercover as a couple and they're only given one bed. Maybe they've been caught and chucked in a cell. But neither of them's going to admit that sharing the bed would be anything other than normal and casual...
