These two have such an interesting relationship: best friends living the high life together, but with the fucked up undercurrent of all the secrets Bunny is keeping. Alice is clever and determined, but relaxes most with Bunny - and when her suspicions grow it's not Jack she confides in, but her best friend. Bunny is charming and acerbic, drawing Alice away from the others as they gossip, but under that she's hiding the angst of all she's lost. To keep the illusion going, she must have lied to Alice so many times - but in the end Bunny is the one who warns Alice to flee.

I've always seen a frisson between them, laughing and drinking and partying together, and Alice jokes that Bunny playing tennis without spilling her cocktail is "quite possibly the sexiest thing I've ever seen" - what if it wasn't entirely a joke? I'm fine with them cheating on Jack and Dean, but I can also imagine their husbands giving them permission - after all, Victory is a male fantasy. But maybe Alice and Bunny find a way to reclaim their relationship for themselves? Could just be casual sex, but maybe it turns more serious, especially as the darkness of Victory rears its head. In many ways the two of them feel separate from the other wives, so maybe there'd be an intimacy and a trust there - or angst over Bunny's betrayal.

Narrative Prompts

Once Alice escaped she went to the police and now Victory has been shut down. She stumbles into Bunny, who's trying to adjust to life back in the real world - and deal with all she's lost. But Alice's attempts to comfort her old friend take an unexpected turn when they end up kissing...
After a visit to the pool, they squeeze into the same booth to change out of their swimsuits.
During a wild night of drinking, dancing and giggling, Alice and Bunny find themselves stumbling into bed together, and end up having a great time.

I loved the mindfuckery aspects of this film, and Frank was so compellingly creepy that I both wanted to run away and couldn't take my eyes off him. Their intellectual rivalry and mind games, with Frank daring Alice to work out what's really going on, sparked such good chemistry between them, and I'd love to see more in that vein - or maybe Frank alters Alice's memory to keep her unknowing and compliant. If you want to do smut, I'm happy for it to be anywhere from noncon to dubcon to fully consensual (if maybe conflicted and/or filled with shame).

I'm fine with a missing scene, with canon divergence (Frank lives and Alice gets caught; Shelley escapes instead of Alice; Alice goes for a final showdown with Frank; etc) or with setting change AUs (it's the 1950s for real and Victory is developing a mind serum; Victory is a cult; Frank and Alice are teacher/student in the modern area, or at a magic academy, or in space; etc).

Considering the nature of the relationships in this canon, I have no problem with either Alice or Frank "cheating" on their partners. Also happy for Alice/Jack and Frank/Shelley to be happening in the background. Jack can be alive or dead (or you can kill him off again, if you're doing an AU) but if Shelley exists I want her to survive. (Maybe Shelley escapes instead, and Frank decides to claim Alice in her place?)

Narrative Prompts

Frank catches Alice alone at a party, and as they talk the tension rises until he's kissing her up against the wall. Maybe he lets her go after teasing her - but not before calling her a "good girl" again.
The next time Alice breaks through the brainwashing, she realises Frank has been wiping her memory over and over. But the more good memories she builds with him, the harder it is to keep hold of the bad ones.
Is there such a thing as hurt/non-consensual comfort? Maybe Alice goes for a final confrontation with Frank - but she's injured, and he overpowers her. And then he insists on caring for her: bandaging her wounds, holding her close, brushing her hair from her face, kissing her forehead, gently touching her, or murmuring that everything's going to be alright... just looking after her in a way that's both soft and creepy, and which Alice doesn't want but can't refuse.
Not strictly a prompt in itself, but definitely something you could work into another prompt: worldbuilding! I have so many questions about Victory and how it works. Did Frank code the software, design the hardware, or both? What was causing the tremors? Was the crashing plane part of the simulation, or just in Alice's head? We know that the children aren't real, so who else is just a programme - the bus driver, the shop assistants, Frank's henchmen in red? How much control does Frank have over Alice's memories? Feel free to play with the inner workings of Victory, for shippy reasons or otherwise.
Frank has found a way to reveal soulmate marks in a world that never had them... or maybe he's actually found a way to forcibly create - or overwrite - a soulbond that didn't exist. Once Jack is gone, Frank tears apart her bond with him and forces Alice to be his soulmate instead.
When Jack encourages Alice to join him on these new personal development courses he's got into, it seems harmless enough. But Frank, the leader of Victory Mindset, singles Alice out and tells her she has real potential. Alice slowly gets drawn into the spider's web, and by the time she realises just how dangerous and unhealthy Frank's methods for "helping" his followers are she's in so deep that getting out won't be easy... Or maybe, despite the unsettling feeling inside her, Alice never manages to see through Frank's mask at all.
Alice was growing tired of Jack, but these days it's hard to remember why - he seems so magnetic now, and it's hard to question things when she's so much more tired than she used to be. She keeps waking up with two strange marks on her neck. And Jack's new friend Frank seems to have a power over him - and her - that she can't really explain. There's something about Frank's hypnotic eyes, and the way he looks at her like he wants to devour her...
Frank is the headmaster of a college that teaches sex magic. Alice gets along with her partner Jack, but she can't help but be flattered by Frank taking a special interest in her - and suspicious about the costs and ultimate goals of the intimate magic he's teaching. Maybe Frank offers some personal tuition, tells Alice she's in danger of failing out, and/or asks for her help with a special spell. Maybe Alice discovers a dark truth at the heart of the college, but has to play along while she collects the evidence to prove it.

These two don't get to interact much, but in many ways Shelley is Frank's enforcer among the wives: keeping them in line as their ballet teacher, shutting Alice down at her dinner party, but also a smooth and sparkling figure guiding the mood at social events. I'm really interested in how that friction and power dynamic could play out if they got more focus.

Alice is clever and determined, even if she's out of her depth. Shelley is calm and controlled, with an edge of ruthlessness, but there's so much we don't know about her. Did she always know what Victory is? Maybe she even helped build it. Did Frank ever mess with her memory? What pushed her to take out Frank and wrest control - and what does she plan to do now? And how might Alice figure in those plans? Does Shelley think of Alice as a rival, an ally, even a scapegoat? Would Alice trust Shelley more than she trusted Frank - and should she? I just think Alice and Shelley could have a juicy, complicated, intense and/or fucked up relationship and I'd love to see it.

I'm fine with one or both of them cheating on their husbands, although I can also imagine Frank giving Shelley permission to use seduction to keep the wives in line. If you want to do smut, consensual or dubcon is welcome. Could be a missing scene or post-canon, or some kind of canon divergence AU, and I'm fine with both Jack and Frank's canon deaths here.

What happens between them after the film ends? Now that she's escaped, does Alice plan on revealing Victory's secret to the world? Maybe Shelley would want to stop her, in order to keep control of it, and a new cat-and-mouse game starts between them. Maybe Shelley's happy for the world to know what Frank did - and the new utopia she's offering. Would she make Alice an offer, asking her to support the new Victory, even to return as an honoured guest? And should Alice trust that offer?
Maybe a post-canon meeting results in hate sex in the real world - or maybe a tense moment at a party turned into some frustrated, frenzied making out in the bathroom in a missing scene.
Before they escalate to wiping Alice's mind again, Frank sends Shelley to manipulate her back into good behaviour. And if that involves some tantalising dubcon, well, Shelley won't complain. Not with a wife as pretty as Alice...

You could do this as a missing scene or maybe an AU of some kind. Did something happen when Frank and Jack went outside after the dinner party? For this ship, I'm fine with conflicted feelings that are never acted upon, hatesex, dubcon, or Dralas nonconning Xenk. Breakups are okay, as they are clearly not together at the time of the movie.

Their dialogue makes it clear that these two have a history, but what kind of history is that? Were they always enemies? We don't really get a sense of Dralas's past or how they met but, in contrast to the compassion and encouragement Xenk shows everyone else, Dralas is the one person that Xenk calls "loathsome"... Is Xenk conflicted about treating Dralas so negatively, or does he feel it's justified? Dralas seems almost teasing during their conversation. Does he enjoy getting a rise out of the stoic paladin?

Unlike the Red Wizards, Dralas bears the same mark on his forehead that Xenk does. Was he a victim of the Beckoning Death, like those "honourable men" Xenk saw turned into monsters? Trained as an assassin, with no memory of his mortal life? Or did he willingly submit to undeath, choosing to serve Szass Tam? Maybe he had been an assassin for years - or maybe he was a child at the time of the Beckoning Death, who survived the spell but was ripped from his family anyway, and brainwashed as they trained him to serve in the future? Maybe he was even Xenk's childhood friend! (Whichever you choose, I'd prefer child Xenk not to have met an adult Dralas, or vice versa.)

If you go for a post-film setting, it's fine to mention that Dralas survived being eaten by Themberchaud and that it wasn't pleasant, but I don't want any further details!

They first met when Szass Tam sent Dralas undercover to win Xenk's trust and then force undeath on him/capture him and take him back to Thay. But the more he got to know Xenk, the more complicated Dralas's loyalties became...

Or Xenk needs some information from Dralas, and he casts a Zone of Truth before interrogating him.
Another fight between them, but this time without weapons - resulting in a lot of grabbing, wrestling and straddling.
Dralas captures Xenk and tenderly menaces him, the tension slowly rising.
In the middle of a fight, they accidentally disturb something that releases sex pollen. Now they have to fuck or both of them will die, permanently.
Dralas survived being eaten by Themberchaud and decides to get revenge by nonconning Xenk. Maybe the other assassins watch - or join in.

But is she prepared to be vulnerable in return? I'm happy for this to be either a romantic ship, or casual sex/FWB/Edgin gently looking after Doric in a dubcon scenario, especially if her tiefling status means she's still a virgin.

Or, having not known her as a young child, is he more ready to give her responsibility appropriate to her age than Edgin and Holga, who maybe haven't quite accepted she's growing up? Or just some adorable domestic fluff about a normal day at the cottage in Targos.

I love how soft Simon gets around Doric and I'd love to see her showing a softer side to him in return. (I do love Doric's spikiness though.) And I love that over the course of the film, she was very interested every time Simon's competency was shown or discussed - she was always into him, she just had this one dealbreaker, and then he fixed it! (Well, maybe he didn't entirely fix it: I love Simon having more confidence, but it might be nice to see him struggle a little - with Doric encouraging him, now she's convinced of his capability.) Does Doric have a competency kink?

Both of them have angsty pasts: Doric as a tiefling rejected by her parents, who's visibly an outsider wherever she goes; Simon as a sorcerer trying to live up to his family's long legacy of wizardry. Plus, as a half-elf, wherever he was raised, he was probably too human for the elves and too elven for the humans. As they get to know each other better, it'd be great to see them open up to each other about these things.

Maybe their courting is awkward at first, possibly hampered by Simon's tendency to break things or fall over, but I absolutely believe they're a good match and would love to see a happy relationship grow between them.

Maybe they get captured, and awkward Simon has to step up to reassure Kira and keep her calm, even as she insists she’s definitely too young to be afraid any more...

There are so many possibilities with Simon doing magic. Little Kira being awed by the sparkly visuals of some basic magic, giving Simon’s ego a boost? Unconfident Simon struggling with a spell, and practical Kira dropping a few words of innocent advice - which turn out to be exactly what he needed? Kira asking newly confident sorcerer Simon to teach her some spells, and see if she has the talent for it? Maybe she turns out to be magically gifted, even bursting out a spell before being taught anything, and now she needs Simon to tutor her in honing it? Kira spent two years with Forge and without Edgin and Holga, and that’s something that can leave a shadow. Simon has struggled a lot with his family legacy, and I like the idea he’s the sole sorcerer in a family of brilliant wizards. Maybe they could have a soft moment as they have a serious discussion about their families?

Is it celebrated differently in Triboar than in Thay, among the Elk Tribe compared to the wood elves? Maybe someone eats too much, maybe someone hates the taste of the traditional food. Maybe someone's really good at the traditional game - or really bad at it. Maybe someone's excited to celebrate the day in a new way, or maybe seeing everyone celebrating it in a different way makes them homesick. An excuse for soft fluff, silly shenanigans or a bit of angst.
Or it's someone's birthday! Who is it, how old are they, what presents do they get? Do they love birthdays, do they hate them, have they tried to keep it secret?

Maybe Xenk can heal them quickly - or maybe he's run out of spells for the day, and the group has to keep the injured person comfortable until they can be healed. Or Xenk has been cuffed, and they have to protect the injured person while also escaping from danger.

I already knew these two were endgame, but this was the first version of Little Women I consumed and it's basically the Laurie/Amy truther version, and the ship completely grabbed me. I have so many feelings about their arc: little Amy pining for her big sister's best friend, lonely Laurie slotting right into their family like a brother even as he pines for Jo... then Laurie and Amy reuniting in Europe as adults, with all those childhood years giving them such a comfortable rapport. Only now Amy is a clear-eyed woman dealing with the difficult questions of marriage, and Laurie's struggling with his heartbreak.

I love their gentle, awkward, prickly edging towards open affection - and I love that Amy is so determined to be practical, but still being swayed by her feelings. She's seen the best of Laurie and refuses to let him be his worst - after all, if she can live with unrequited love, why can't he? And I love that she refuses to surrender to her own girlish crush and accept his first flimsy suggestion of feelings - forcing them both to assess what they really want, and to come to each other afresh, in a moment of genuine emotion and honesty. And despite the loss of Beth, they seem so happy together! Laurie practically glows as he talks about Amy.

I'm fine with past Laurie/Jo as long as it was never consummated (although I got the impression in this film, it was more like Laurie had an unrequited crush, or wasn't really sure what kind of love he was feeling?). But you don't have to mention that ship at all, if you don't want to.

Or maybe Laurie feels like he has to hide his own grief about Beth, because that pain really belongs to Amy - but he was practically the Marches' brother. Maybe Amy could help him to open up and they could console each other together.
We see them with their baby daughter at the end of the film. I'd love something about Laurie doting on pregnant Amy. Maybe she's exhausted or she's got morning sickness, or maybe he just likes fussing over her. But does he have any worries about being a good father, after losing his own? Or some pure fluff would be good. Introducing the baby to the Marches or to Laurie's grandfather? Playing with her, teaching her to walk or talk, reading a bedtime story?
I'd love to see Amy and Laurie consummating their marriage on their wedding night. Is virgin Amy determined to be practical about it all, or is she overwhelmed by the tenderness and vulnerability? We've seen them at so many points during the year, partaking in appropriate activities - you could return to/expand on any of those, or show me a whole new one. Picking flowers or making flower crowns, dancing in a light spring rain, visiting a lake on a hot day, drinking hot cocoa, eating toffee apples, ice skating, snowball fights or building snowmen... Fluffy and happy, soft and tender, food or sport or relaxation, I just crave more of this. Could be one scene, or a 4 or 5(+1) thing.
Also, Christmas. I love Christmas. You could go historically accurate here, but I won't notice if you aren't. Baking and eating gingerbread, buying or making presents for each other, playing charades, wrapping up warm to go carolling, cuddling up together by the fire with a hot drink... Do they decorate a tree, in the Marches' house or in Laurie's? Maybe Laurie gets a mistletoe kiss on the cheek from each of the girls - or the girls give them to each other. Those scenes of them eating Christmas dinner are just so cosy.
I'd love to see them putting on a play. Any part of the process - arguing about roles, practising scenes, doing rewrites, making or trying on their costumes, a dress rehearsal, and/or the final performance... I love the creativity, the bustle, the taking on of roles, the opportunities for banter/bickering or for hilarious mistakes. Marmee suggested Laurie would have to fight Jo for the male roles - does she win? Does he have to play a girl? Can Beth be urged into a small role or does she stick to providing music?
Some mild hurt/comfort would be great. Could be four of them all (fighting to) look after one at the same time, or maybe four rotating through shifts of keeping the hurt one company. Maybe one of them slipped while walking in the snow? Got caught in the rain and now has a chill? Or a fever, and now keeps having nightmares? Hurt their foot while dancing (again)? The full aftermath of Amy falling through the ice? Maybe Laurie is sick and can't leave his house, so the girls bring all their bustle to his bedroom? I'd just love to see them all being soft and concerned (or affectionately providing noisy distractions).
Maybe something a little angstier - Laurie just as he's getting to know them, pining to be part of their family? Already included, but worried he'll always be an outsider? Maybe specifically worrying that shy Beth won't open up to him - or Beth as she nervously gets to know him, trying to be brave, forging that affectionate bond? Or maybe two of the sisters have had another little argument about something, and are worried they won't make up - maybe one (or more) of the others could help them patch it up?
I'd love a Hogwarts AU for them. Maybe Laurie has just transferred from another school, and meets the March sisters on the train? Or he and Jo meet while playing/trying out for Quidditch? Or he bumps into one of them somewhere else? No preference on who's in which house. I just think the cosy vibes of the film would translate well to these five eating in the Great Hall, exploring Hogsmeade, doing homework in the library, causing shenanigans in lessons, sneaking out at night, or sneaking Laurie into places he's not meant to be... (Also if you move the era to modern-ish Hogwarts, feel free to have Jo be a trans boy!)

I'd love something that shows their bond continuing to grow after the film too, as Marjorie grows up. Maybe Elizabeth counselling Marjorie about some worry? Teaching her something? Even just reading to her. Or still enjoying hugs, even as Marjorie gets older.

I love the gentle, tender romance that develops between these two. Robert is clearly attracted to Elizabeth from the moment they meet, but out of respect for her autonomy or for his first wife, he refuses to claim his "marital rights". Elizabeth is resigned to her duty, striding into her new life despite the flicker of fear over physical intimacy - and when she discovers that sex is off the table, it gives her space to fall in love with him.

I love the quiet, sometimes awkward moments of daily life, encountering each other in corridors and repeatedly saying goodnight - as well as Elizabeth developing a strong bond with Marjorie. But I also love the bolder, more political moments, from the ceremonies to Elizabeth displaying her political nouse and swearing herself to him. They match each other on every level - ruling together, laughing together, supporting each other's needs, whether big or small - and their love is deep and genuine. I was so pleased that she was the one to invite him to bed, and that he waited for her without question, resulting in a tender and passionate consummation. And I love that - despite her being a determined, intelligent queen and him being a complex, canny leader capable of brutality - when they're laughing and kissing they feel more like awkward, earnest teenage lovers embarking on innocent first love. If you want to try and capture all those nuances, you're very welcome to - but I'd be happy with something that highlights just one aspect, whether fluffy or dramatic or smutty.

You're very welcome to include Marjorie, or their other historical children, as well as references to Robert's relationship with his first wife. Also, don't feel you need to be historically accurate at all - the film clearly isn't! If you do happen to know about the period, feel free to use that knowledge to expand on the film, though please don't change anything established by the movie. But you're also welcome to just make up details that "feel right".

Anything focusing on that - from planning and hoping, to anticipating the baby once Elizabeth is pregnant, to dealing with things like morning sickness, or worry that Elizabeth will die like Robert's first wife Isabella... to their joy and excitement once the child arrives safely, or the realities of raising them. Robert and Elizabeth are both adorable with Marjorie, so I'd love some more cuteness as their family grows.
Although they have separate bedrooms, maybe they accidentally fall asleep together after some frantic lovemaking - and one of them has a nightmare. Robert saw so much horror on the path to affirming his rule, and Elizabeth spent so long in that cage hanging from the castle walls. But now they're back together, they can comfort each other over their trauma.
Now they're reunited, they have the opportunity for their second time - or third, fourth, fifth... Show me these two exploring physical intimacy together, whether it's a tender coupling while they're still discovering each other's bodies, or a passionate night years down the line.

So once he's convinced of her capability (and she of his sincerity) and he gives up his claim to the crown, there's no question about whether they'd be able to find common ground.

I love both the push-and-pull of Nicholas flirting and Mia trying to resist (in the closet, by the fountain, the deleted scene in the kitchen) as well as them being soft and friendly with each other: Nicholas supporting Mia by helping with her archery, and the night they spend together before her wedding where we see them opening up emotionally, dancing close, and falling asleep in each other's arms. So I'd love a post-canon continuation of that as their relationship develops, or is fully established, or a missing scene while Nicholas is still living at the palace and they keep running into each other. Or maybe an AU?

I liked Andrew as a character so no bashing of him please, and it's fine to have Mia/Andrew's unromantic engagement happening in the background or to show them amicably breaking up. Also happy for Clarisse/Joe to be in the background, or for Lilly to visit again. Or cute appearances by Fat Louie the cat or Maurice the dog!

I'd be interested to see how these two and their dynamic play out in other settings: steampunk AU, daemon AU, Hogwarts AU? Regency AU, where the scandal with Nicholas almost ruins her? Or Mia can't convince parliament to change the law and Nicholas has to marry her right then so she can keep the crown? Fantasy AU where they're both competing to be the next leader of a dragonrider battalion? Or a genderswap: how does the plot change if Nicholas is Nicola, and also needs to marry to get the crown?
Presumably they're going to need children to be heirs to the crown, so anything to do with that. Soft fluffy moments during pregnancy as they look forward to their first child - or hurt/comfort where Mia has morning sickness and Nicholas looks after her. The joys of raising their kids together: maybe Nicholas using his skill for accents to read a bedtime story while Mia's heart melts? Or maybe some breeding kink smut, as they prepare to make that baby.

Chekov is so fucking adorable. I love his earnest enthusiasm, his innocence, and his extreme competency despite his age - and how that fits with Kirk, who's older, more traumatised, and chafes against the rules, but strives to protect his crew. They work so well together, and I really enjoyed how much of Beyond was just the two of them out in the wilds, with a slightly more mature Chekov showing he can handle himself in the field.

Would love to see them as a couple, with Kirk's captainly urges to keep people safe translating into him being soft and tender. Does Chekov's enthusiasm carry over into an excitement to share new experiences, from dates in interesting places, to exploring new sexual possibilities with Kirk? Does Kirk initially try to hide his trauma from his younger partner? Or do they spend ages mutually pining, with both thinking the age gap means the other would never be interested? What finally gets them to confess - a bad injury, dubcon sex, or simply an inability to hold it in any more?

I love that Pike was the first one to believe in Kirk - and the one who got Kirk to believe in himself. He finds this young guy losing a bar fight and tells him he can do more, be better, live up to not only his potential but his father's legacy. And Kirk hears that challenge and says no, I'll do even better than that.

But there's a tension between them: Pike encourages Kirk's out-of-the-box thinking and urge for heroics, but also expects him to follow the rules (or at least know which rules to break and when). Kirk wants that approval, wants to excel, but he's used to rebellion and reckless behaviour and is willing to risk more than other people are comfortable with. There's this push and pull where they're trying to find where the line should fall, and maybe that could play into how they are as a couple: not quite sure if their relationship is appropriate or it's going too far, if it's going to make Kirk a better man or screw him up more.

As a captain, Pike seems kind and steady but also willing to make unconventional choices, and he gives Kirk a chance to speak even when he's just stowed away on his ship. Kirk respects him and wants his respect in return but also chafes against the hierarchy of Starfleet. I'd love to see their relationship blossom into more, with Pike being encouraging but maybe also conflicted, and Kirk finding a sense of safety even as he's unsettled by commitment. Or maybe they have to rely on their platonic relationship to get them through a sexual encounter caused by sex pollen or alien demands or an omegaverse heat.

Not looking for daddy kink here but Kirk's daddy issues are welcome. He obviously has some trauma with regards to his father (and presumably his abusive stepfather) and that's part of why he is the way he is. Maybe another meeting in a bar results in a mutual agreement to spend one night together. Maybe a new danger sends Admiral Pike back into space with Kirk, and one of them being injured or having a close call with death results in an admission of feelings?
Kirk somehow time travels back and meets a Pike that's his own age - or maybe a bit younger. They have to work together to prevent some alien plot and/or get Kirk back to his own time, and feelings develop between them. Does Kirk have to hide who he really is, and listen to an oblivious Pike talking about his dissertation? Or does he explain, and then have to deal with everything young Pike projects onto him? It's not clear exactly how old Pike is, so maybe the timeline means that Kirk actually arrives before USS Kelvin is destroyed - and maybe while he's in the past he ropes Pike into preventing it from happening?

And Asha and Magnifico had such a connection during her interview (before it all went off the rails). How would they function as a three?

Maybe the weight of all those wishes, powered by an entire kingdom's deepest dreams, has actually been wearing Magnifico down all along? Like, not only does he promise that he'll protect the wishes at all costs, he sings that he's mesmerised by the hold they have over him. What if Amaya and/or Asha realised something was going on, and managed to save him from it, before he turned to darkness? Even if it meant him giving up (or heavily reducing) his use of wish magic.
I'd also love some smut for them. How do they deal with the mechanics of three people - do they burst into laughter when someone (nearly) falls out of bed? Is Asha a virgin? Maybe Amaya and Magnifico gently guide her through her first time. Or show me a scene where they're already comfortable with their knowledge of each other. I loved the soft relationship these two had. Calm, confident, practical Amaya organising things to smooth Magnifico's work, but also gently steering and comforting him when he's tempted by darkness. Focused, arrogant, brilliant Magnifico dazzling his subjects, but revealing a softer and more vulnerable side when alone with his wife, happily taking her advice.

Despite his downfall, I do believe he really loved her, so I'd prefer them to be happily together at the end of the work - even if things are complicated. I DNW breakups, so I don't want to see her abandon him because the book has turned him irreversibly evil. But Magnifico using the book and Amaya freeing him from its influence, resulting in an angsty situation with a penitent Magnifico, is totally fine. Also pre-canon angst or hurt/comfort, where their relationship is loving but the surrounding situation is more bittersweet. But I'd also love some fluff!

Maybe Magnifico is as attentive in studying Amaya's body as he was in studying magic, and thanks her for her tireless support with regular mindblowing orgasms?

I kinda felt like they couldn't decide what Magnifico's motivation was. Like whether he was a purely evil villain powered by arrogance and a need for control, or whether he was a sympathetic antagonist crushed by the pressure of kingship and past trauma. I would love something that grabbed either idea with both hands and committed to it fully. Even if he's a misguided good guy that genuinely cares, feel free to make him arrogant and a bit manipulative - or to turn those traits to the max if he's evil.

I love Asha's determination, her compassion, her righteousness, and her quirky goofiness - but if your work suits her being more serious, that's fine. Please either make this an AU where Asha is already 18, or have a time skip so she's an adult. And please either give Magnifico and Amaya an open relationship, or make it an AU where they were never a couple... Maybe Magnifico escapes from the mirror, and Asha has to stop him a second time, leading to a frisson between them. Or a new threat arises, and Asha can only defeat it with help from her old enemy. Or maybe an AU where Asha (and Amaya?) free him from the green magic's corruption - and a repentant Magnifico has to live with what he did. How does he interact with Asha now she's the one using magic to grant wishes?
What if Asha didn't discover the truth about the wishes before she turned 18? What would her wish be? Is it something Magnifico would be happy to grant? Or maybe something - like "helping Rosas" - that's just vague enough that he could twist it into Asha serving him? (If he did, how would she ever realise what he was really doing?) Or would he never grant her wish?
Maybe the green magic isn't the only kind of magic that has a negative effect. Maybe the weight of all those wishes, powered by an entire kingdom's deepest dreams, has actually been wearing Magnifico down all along? Like, not only does he promise that he'll protect the wishes at all costs, he sings that he's mesmerised by the hold they have over him. What if Asha realised something was going on, and she (and Amaya?) managed to save him from it, before he turned to darkness? Even if it meant him giving up (or heavily reducing) his use of wish magic.
Maybe Asha becomes his apprentice, and Magnifico asks for her help casting a spell. But the spell requires intimate contact between them (kissing, touching, maybe even sex) and Asha would have to trust Magnifico with it. Is this a legitimate request from a good-hearted but arrogant Magnifico trying a powerful spell that's beyond him alone? Or is this just a manipulation tactic from a secretly evil Magnifico, who's taken an unhealthy interest in Asha?
What about a Villain Wins AU? Similar to the climax with them both on top of the tower, Magnifico uses those green magic hands to throw Asha around/pin her down/cause her pain. Or maybe he imprisons her in the dungeon, visiting her to gloat. Maybe the menace even blurs into sexual tension as he leans in close...
Another apprentice AU idea: a magical mishap results in them being doused with cuddle pollen or kissing pollen. Magnifico is gently apologetic as he guides Asha through the intimate cure, crossing lines they've never crossed before. (If this is evil Magnifico, maybe he's manipulating her into agreeing to more than she's comfortable with - or maybe the mishap wasn't an accident, and he dosed them on purpose.)
Or maybe a spell goes wrong - whether it's an apprentice AU, Magnifico's magic interacting with Star's wand, or due to the green magic - and Asha (or both of them) gets doused in sex pollen instead. Does Magnifico have to gently guide his desperate apprentice through losing her virginity? Is this a frantic fuck between enemies? Does Asha try to resist the aching desire, even as Magnifico urges her to give in?
Omega Asha goes into heat while serving as Magnifico's apprentice, and he helps her through it. Is he a gentle alpha who holds her close, letting her smell his calming scent, only giving non-sexual comfort? A firm but caring alpha who takes charge and guides her through being knotted for the first time? Or a supposedly kind alpha who's subtly manipulating her into things she's not entirely comfortable with? (Did he even tamper with her heat suppressants?)
Maybe a victorious, fully corrupted Magnifico decides to take what he wants from Asha, and noncons her - whether she's locked in the dungeon, restrained by green magic, or pinned as he holds her down and forces himself on her.
