I loved their friendship - polished Diana bonding with awkward Barbara, two lonely women bringing light to each other's lives - and would love some fluffy friends-to-lovers. Maybe an AU where Barbara never went evil? Or maybe she did go evil, resulting in some mutual pining - until compassionate Diana forgives a repentant Barbara, though maybe it still lends an angsty edge to things. They just had such a cute dynamic, with Diana opening up as Barbara hero-worshipped her. I'd love them to settle into a comfortable appreciation and mutual understanding, whether as an established relationship or getting together.

But I also loved them as enemies! I am totally down for hate sex, conflicted feelings, even some dubcon - maybe they get hit by sex pollen, and afterwards Diana can't forget the intense experience? Maybe Diana fights hard to redeem Barbara - but is Barbara ever receptive? This could be a tense relationship between enemies, or a romance that develops as Barbara comes back to herself - and has to deal with what she did.

And Etta appreciated Diana too, without jealousy, even as she was awed by her everything. Judging by the photograph in the second film, they're lifelong friends. I would love to see it become a romance too. Whether they're having adventures, comforting each other over losing Steve, or just settling into fluffy domestic times, I just think they'd be great together.

Narrative Prompts

• Etta's just lived through four years of war, and Diana saw the front lines. Obviously there could be some angst there, beyond losing Steve, or some hurt/comfort - does one of them have a nightmare, and need the other to comfort them?
  
• But I'd love something fluffier too! Maybe it'd take them a little while to get there, but it'd be great to see them enjoying daily life together. Nobody would question two women living together, so they could easily get an apartment together - or even a little cottage? Domestic fluff would be great: just them cooking together or sharing meals (maybe Diana introduces Etta to Themysciran cuisine?), maybe gardening, dancing to records on a gramophone, cuddling up in bed...
  
• Or celebrating any kind of holiday! Does Diana know what Christmas is? Maybe Etta would have to explain all the traditions to her. Or New Year, looking back and looking ahead? Or Easter, eating or painting eggs? What holidays did they have on Themyscira? Just some fun fluff!
  
• A new adventure - or a bit of one - would be great. Etta got the chance to show a little of her brilliance when she was put in charge of logistics, but I'd love to see her in the field. Maybe she'd be nervous, or need to be brave and conquer her fear, and need Diana's reassurance to help her step up. Maybe she'd flourish under pressure. Maybe she'd just enjoy getting to see Diana being a badass close up. But I'd love to see them go on a canon-typical adventure together, whether as an established couple, or getting together via those events.

I'd love an AU where Steve survives the first film and they all get together. Maybe he's injured and needs nursing back to health? Or maybe he's fine and they get to go on adventures together - or just have some fluffy relaxation, or some hot smut. Maybe there's sex pollen or a magical soulbond involved?

These two have such an interesting relationship: best friends living the high life together, but with the fucked up undercurrent of all the secrets Bunny is keeping. Alice is clever and determined, but relaxes most with Bunny - and when her suspicions grow it's not Jack she confides in, but her best friend. Bunny is charming and acerbic, drawing Alice away from the others as they gossip, but under that she's hiding the angst of all she's lost. To keep the illusion going, she must have lied to Alice so many times - but in the end Bunny is the one who warns Alice to flee.

I've always seen a frisson between them, laughing and drinking and partying together, and Alice jokes that Bunny playing tennis without spilling her cocktail is "quite possibly the sexiest thing I've ever seen" - what if it wasn't entirely a joke? I'm fine with them cheating on Jack and Dean, but I can also imagine their husbands giving them permission - after all, Victory is a male fantasy. But maybe Alice and Bunny find a way to reclaim their relationship for themselves? Could just be casual sex, but maybe it turns more serious, especially as the darkness of Victory rears its head. In many ways the two of them feel separate from the other wives, so maybe there'd be an intimacy and a trust there - or angst over Bunny's betrayal.

I loved the mindfuckery aspects of this film, and Frank was so compellingly creepy that I both wanted to run away and couldn't take my eyes off him. Their intellectual rivalry and mind games, with Frank daring Alice to work out what's really going on, sparked such good chemistry between them, and I'd love to see more in that vein - or maybe Frank alters Alice's memory to keep her unknowing and compliant. If you want to do smut, I'm happy for it to be anywhere from noncon to dubcon to fully consensual (if maybe conflicted and/or filled with shame).

I'm fine with a missing scene, with canon divergence (Frank lives and Alice gets caught; Shelley escapes instead of Alice; Alice goes for a final showdown with Frank; etc) or with setting change AUs (it's the 1950s for real and Victory is developing a mind serum; Victory is a cult; Frank and Alice are teacher/student in the modern area, or at a magic academy, or in space; etc).

Considering the nature of the relationships in this canon, I have no problem with either Alice or Frank "cheating" on their partners. Also happy for Alice/Jack and Frank/Shelley to be happening in the background. Jack can be alive or dead (or you can kill him off again, if you're doing an AU) but if Shelley exists I want her to survive. (Maybe Shelley escapes instead, and Frank decides to claim Alice in her place?)

• Frank catches Alice alone at a party, and as they talk the tension rises until he's kissing her up against the wall. Maybe he lets her go after teasing her - but not before calling her a "good girl" again.

Did Frank code the software, design the hardware, or both? What was causing the tremors? Was the crashing plane part of the simulation, or just in Alice's head? We know that the children aren't real, so who else is just a programme - the bus driver, the shop assistants, Frank's henchmen in red? How much control does Frank have over Alice's memories? Feel free to play with the inner workings of Victory, for shippy reasons or otherwise.
  
• Frank has found a way to reveal soulmate marks in a world that never had them... or maybe he's actually found a way to forcibly create - or overwrite - a soulbond that didn't exist. Once Jack is gone, Frank tears apart her bond with him and forces Alice to be his soulmate instead.
  
• When Jack encourages Alice to join him on these new personal development courses he's got into, it seems harmless enough. But Frank, the leader of Victory Mindset, singles Alice out and tells her she has real potential. Alice slowly gets drawn into the spider's web, and by the time she realises just how dangerous and unhealthy Frank's methods for "helping" his followers are she's in so deep that getting out won't be easy... Or maybe, despite the unsettling feeling inside her, Alice never manages to see through Frank's mask at all.

I'm really interested in how that friction and power dynamic could play out if they got more focus.

Alice is clever and determined, even if she's out of her depth. Shelley is calm and controlled, with an edge of ruthlessness, but there's so much we don't know about her. Did she always know what Victory is? Maybe she even helped build it. Did Frank ever mess with her memory? What pushed her to take out Frank and wrest control - and what does she plan to do now? And how might Alice figure in those plans? Does Shelley think of Alice as a rival, an ally, even a scapegoat? Would Alice trust Shelley more than she trusted Frank - and should she? I just think Alice and Shelley could have a juicy, complicated, intense and/or fucked up relationship and I'd love to see it.

I'm fine with one or both of them cheating on their husbands, although I can also imagine Frank giving Shelley permission to use seduction to keep the wives in line. If you want to do smut, consensual or dubcon is welcome. Could be a missing scene or post-canon, or some kind of canon divergence AU, and I'm fine with both Jack and Frank's canon deaths here.

Jack probably has a bit of hero worship for Frank, so I think he'd be susceptible, regardless of his feelings for Alice.

You could do this as a missing scene or maybe an AU of some kind. Did something happen when Frank and Jack went outside after the dinner party? Or what about at Frank's house: Alice finds Jack in Frank's dressing room, a bit dishevelled and playing with a tie... Had they just been doing something? Or I'm sure there are many other opportunities for them to have had a secret liaison.

DNW underage, but Paul's age is ambiguous, so I will happily assume he's over 18 at this point. But as he's still young, and there don't seem to be any people his own age around Castle Caladan, I can see Paul still being a virgin. And I'm fine with Paul having had a crush on Duncan before he turned 18, but please don't have Duncan thinking of Paul that way before he's an adult. Other than that, feel free to delve into the age difference as much as you want!

We don't really get any focused moments between these two in the film, but Doric actually seems like the least hostile to Xenk from the beginning - ironic considering her stance on humans started as "hateful and selfish" and "just can't help but lie"... but then Xenk and his ridiculous paladin goodness are so obviously the opposite of that! If Xenk joined the party for further adventures, I like to imagine they'd become good friends, and then fall in love (maybe after mutually pining). Or maybe just gently looking after each other during a dubcon scenario.

I love Doric's combination of a sharp tongue with her moral integrity and intense environmental concern, and how that contrasts and blends with Xenk's stern intensity, his awkward ways, and his own intense sense of justice and goodness. They're both visibly outsiders in ways the others aren't, so maybe they would have a natural understanding - or they'd bond over the angst of losing their families because of it. And between their outsider status and Xenk's sense of duty, I tend to imagine they're both virgins.

(Please don't mention Simon and Doric breaking up. I'd rather you give them an open relationship, make it an AU where they were never into each other, or just ignore that ship altogether.)

Narrative Prompts

• Doric gets injured and tries to remain stoic as Xenk heals her, even though he has to press his hands to her bare skin. Or Xenk gets injured, and can't heal himself - but Doric knows a natural remedy, and the plant grows in this area. Maybe the intimacy of the healing sparks a frisson between them, and results in a kiss.

Maybe he'll agree to skin-to-skin contact, but only because tieflings have a naturally higher body temp. • A quest requires two of the group to go undercover as a couple - and it needs Doric and Xenk's unique skills in particular. Is this a magical night at a ball (even a masquerade ball), where the enchanting mood sets feelings simmering? Or maybe they're sent to infiltrate a cult, and they have to rely on their trust in the dangerous situation. Do they get picked for one of the cult's rituals - which turns out to be ritual public sex? Maybe they try to fake their way through it, even as the intimate touches stir up real desire. Maybe they just decide to go for it, and gently help each other through some tender dubcon.
  
• While adventuring away from the others, they discover a magical grove that's slowly being corrupted. Both of them are eager to cleanse it, but then its guardians explain that the ritual magic would require the two of them to have sex.
  
• One or both of them gets hit by sex pollen, and there's nobody else around to help. Maybe Doric is practical and sees no reason not to have some fun together. Maybe Xenk is conflicted, wanting to help - or needing help himself - but reluctant to open up to her. But in the end he's too kind, or too desperate, to actually refuse it... even if he's a virgin.

For this ship, I'm fine with conflicted feelings that are never acted upon, hatesex, dubcon, or Dralas nonconning Xenk. Breakups are okay, as they are clearly not together at the time of the movie.

Their dialogue makes it clear that these two have a history, but what kind of history is that? Were they always enemies? We don't really get a sense of Dralas's past or how they met but, in contrast to the compassion and encouragement Xenk shows everyone else, Dralas is the one person that Xenk calls "loathsome"... Is Xenk conflicted about treating Dralas so negatively, or does he feel it's justified? Dralas seems almost teasing during their conversation. Does he enjoy getting a rise out of the stoic paladin?

Unlike the Red Wizards, Dralas bears the same mark on his forehead that Xenk does. Was he a victim of the Beckoning Death, like those "honourable men" Xenk saw turned into monsters? Trained as an assassin, with no memory of his mortal life? Or did he willingly submit to undeath, choosing to serve Szass Tam? Maybe he had been an assassin for years - or maybe he was a child at the time of the Beckoning Death, who survived the spell but was ripped from his family anyway, and brainwashed as they trained him to serve in the future? Maybe he was even Xenk's childhood friend! (Whichever you choose, I'd prefer child Xenk not to have met an adult Dralas, or vice versa.)

If you go for a post-film setting, it's fine to mention that Dralas survived being eaten by Themberchaud and that it wasn't pleasant, but I don't want any further details!

Narrative Prompts

• They first met when Szass Tam sent Dralas undercover to win Xenk's trust and then force undeath on him/capture him and take him back to Thay. But the more he got to know Xenk, the more complicated Dralas's loyalties became...
  
• Or maybe they were childhood friends and Xenk once had hope of freeing him from the curse of undeath. Maybe Dralas used that to play on Xenk's sympathies, trying to convince him he didn't really want to be a villain. I love their gentle, awkward, prickly edging towards open affection - and I love that Amy is so determined to be practical, but still being swayed by her feelings. She's seen the best of Laurie and refuses to let him be his worst - after all, if she can live with unrequited love, why can't he? And I love that she refuses to surrender to her own girlish crush and accept his first flimsy suggestion of feelings - forcing them both to assess what they really want, and to come to each other afresh, in a moment of genuine emotion and honesty. And despite the loss of Beth, they seem so happy together! Laurie practically glows as he talks about Amy.

I'm fine with past Laurie/Jo as long as it was never consummated (although I got the impression in this film, it was more like Laurie had an unrequited crush, or wasn't really sure what kind of love he was feeling?). But you don't have to mention that ship at all, if you don't want to.

• I would love some comfortable domestic moments as they settle into married life together, back home in the States. Chatting over the breakfast table, cuddling up for a cosy night by the fire, discussing whether to rearrange the furniture, or planning a society ball...

Maybe she's exhausted or she's got morning sickness, or maybe he just likes fussing over her. But does he have any worries about being a good father, after losing his own? Or some pure fluff would be good. Introducing the baby to the Marches or to Laurie's grandfather? Playing with her, teaching her to walk or talk, reading a bedtime story?
  
• I'd love to see Amy and Laurie consummating their marriage on their wedding night. Is virgin Amy determined to be practical about it all, or is she overwhelmed by the tenderness and vulnerability? They match each other on every level - ruling together, laughing together, supporting each other's needs, whether big or small - and their love is deep and genuine. I was so pleased that she was the one to invite him to bed, and that he waited for her without question, resulting in a tender and passionate consummation. And I love that - despite her being a determined, intelligent queen and him being a complex, canny leader capable of brutality - when they're laughing and kissing they feel more like awkward, earnest teenage lovers embarking on innocent first love. If you want to try and capture all those nuances, you're very welcome to - but I'd be happy with something that highlights just one aspect, whether fluffy or dramatic or smutty.

You're very welcome to include Marjorie, or their other historical children, as well as references to Robert's relationship with his first wife. Also, don't feel you need to be historically accurate at all - the film clearly isn't! If you do happen to know about the period, feel free to use that knowledge to expand on the film, though please don't change anything established by the movie. But you're also welcome to just make up details that "feel right".

I love both the push-and-pull of Nicholas flirting and Mia trying to resist (in the closet, by the fountain, the deleted scene in the kitchen) as well as them being soft and friendly with each other: Nicholas supporting Mia by helping with her archery, and the night they spend together before her wedding where we see them opening up emotionally, dancing close, and falling asleep in each other's arms. So I'd love a post-canon continuation of that as their relationship develops, or is fully established, or a missing scene while Nicholas is still living at the palace and they keep running into each other. Or maybe an AU?

I liked Andrew as a character so no bashing of him please, and it's fine to have Mia/Andrew's unromantic engagement happening in the background or to show them amicably breaking up. Also happy for Clarisse/Joe to be in the background, or for Lilly to visit again. Or cute appearances by Fat Louie the cat or Maurice the dog!

But I loved Amaya's soft and supportive marriage to Magnifico, and how soft and supportive she was of Asha too. And Asha and Magnifico had such a connection during her interview (before it all went off the rails). How would they function as a three?

No irredeemably evil Magnifico for this ship, please - I'd like him to be a sympathetic antagonist (or even ally!) instead. Fluff, angst, hurt/comfort, adventures and smut all welcome.

Narrative Prompts

• Maybe Magnifico took Asha on as apprentice after all, and she had a slower realisation that something was wrong, leading to a deeper emotional connection with him (and Amaya) before it all started to go wrong. What if Amaya and/or Asha realised something was going on, and managed to save him from it, before he turned to darkness? Even if it meant him giving up (or heavily reducing) his use of wish magic.
  
• I'd also love some smut for them. How do they deal with the mechanics of three people - do they burst into laughter when someone (nearly) falls out of bed? Is Asha a virgin? Maybe Amaya and Magnifico gently guide her through her first time. Or show me a scene where they're already comfortable with their knowledge of each other. Amaya/Magnifico of Rosas

I loved the soft relationship these two had. Calm, confident, practical Amaya organising things to smooth Magnifico's work, but also gently steering and comforting him when he's tempted by darkness. Focused, arrogant, brilliant Magnifico dazzling his subjects, but revealing a softer and more vulnerable side when alone with his wife, happily taking her advice.

Despite his downfall, I do believe he really loved her, so I'd prefer them to be happily together at the end of the work - even if things are complicated. I DNW breakups, so I don't want to see her abandon him because the book has turned him irreversibly evil. But Magnifico using the book and Amaya freeing him from its influence, resulting in an angsty situation with a penitent Magnifico, is totally fine. Also pre-canon angst or hurt/comfort, where their relationship is loving but the surrounding situation is more bittersweet. But I'd also love some fluff, or smut!

Maybe Magnifico is as attentive in studying Amaya's body as he was in studying magic, and thanks her for her tireless support with regular mindblowing orgasms?
  
• They'd also be a really interesting couple for some dom/sub play, whichever way the roles are assigned. Maybe king Magnifico likes to continue his rule into the bedroom, taking charge of Amaya and her pleasure, pushing her to obey before making all her wishes come true. Asha/Magnifico of Rosas

I enjoyed this film, but it left me craving more of certain ideas. Mainly an apprentice Asha AU, Magnifico being softer - or Magnifico being even worse.

I kinda felt like they couldn't decide what Magnifico's motivation was. Like whether he was a purely evil villain powered by arrogance and a need for control, or whether he was a sympathetic antagonist crushed by the pressure of kingship and past trauma. I would love something that grabbed either idea with both hands and committed to it fully. Even if he's a misguided good guy that genuinely cares, feel free to make him arrogant and a bit manipulative - or to turn those traits to the max if he's evil.

Between Asha's interview and them duetting on what was basically a love song, I both shipped these two and really wanted to see them as mentor/apprentice. I love Asha's determination, her compassion, her righteousness, and her quirky goofiness - but if your work suits her being more serious, that's fine. Apprentice AU, canon plotline, or other canon divergence are all welcome.

Please either make this an AU where Asha is already 18, or have a time skip so she's an adult. And please either give Magnifico and Amaya an open relationship, or make it an AU where they were never a couple... Unless you're going with fully evil, corrupted by green magic Magnifico, in which case I'm fine with him cheating on Amaya and/or nonconning Asha. Otherwise, dubcon or consensual, please.

(If Magnifico's a sympathetic figure who turns to darkness, please leave the door open for redemption. But fully evil Magnifico doesn't need redemption - in fact, I'm fine with a Villain Wins AU.)

Or is this just a manipulation tactic from a secretly evil Magnifico, who's taken an unhealthy interest in Asha?
  
• What about a Villain Wins AU? Similar to the climax with them both on top of the tower, Magnifico uses those green magic hands to throw Asha around/pin her down/cause her pain. Or maybe he imprisons her in the dungeon, visiting her to gloat. Maybe the menace even blurs into sexual tension as he leans in close...
  
• Another apprentice AU idea: a magical mishap results in them being doused with cuddle pollen or kissing pollen.
