Pining For You Flash 2025
Thank you for creating something for me! My username is
forsworn. I requested requited pining in ten fandoms. Treats are welcome, including art treats!
I love pining so much. If you want to do 300 words of pure angsty longing (or the art equivalent) before they discover it's requited, that's totally welcome. But if you want to incorporate more plot, I'm also happy for a side of hurt/comfort, tropes like accidental soulbond or undercover as a couple, cosy seasonal fun, canon-typical adventures, and/or a smutty ending - or fade to black. (Or maybe they pine while having dubcon sex due to an omegaverse heat or sex pollen, and then discover their feelings are requited? Also welcome!)

Ekko/Jinx
These two are - and have been, and could be - so many things to each other. Childhood friends who saw their worlds fall apart, each innocently responsible for part of that. Adult enemies, sharp and bitter, their mutual scars only adding to the intensity between them. In another world, a tender couple, still scarred but brimming with a soft hope. And at last, in this world, a gentle offer of an olive branch in the deepest moment of despair leads to an earnest alliance - and, if not that same hope, then the hope of hope.
I love them both as a sweet couple and as simmering enemies. Wounded leader Ekko, so sharp but so caring, driven by a need to protect - and to damage Jinx as a result. Volatile Jinx, shattered by her own failures, cackling as she destroys all he values - and all she values too, if only it didn’t hurt so much to believe in it. There’s a tension between them, rising to a peak in their fight on the bridge - but maybe a quieter encounter in an alley, even spurred by sex pollen, could tip them over into hate sex - or at least hate kissing.
But the shadow of that other world - and Ekko’s heroic decision to sacrifice the happiness he could have had - opens up newer, gentler possibilities for them. He’s seen what she could have been, and that lets him see what she could become. In the depths of her self-blame, Jinx needs that taste of tenderness and all the good it represents, even if she can’t (yet) believe she’s worthy. And maybe Ekko needs it too, needs to reclaim all that he surrendered, still aching for that innocent sweetness - maybe wanting to be that unscarred version of himself, even as he takes on ever more burdens.
References to the s02e07 universe are welcome, but I’d prefer something set in the original one, whether that’s a missing scene between adult enemies or a gentler romance post-canon. (Jinx is totally still alive, damnit!) Dubcon is fine during their enemy era - with all the conflicted but genuine feelings. And maybe conflicted feelings of a different kind as they build something sweet together - Jinx in particular seems like she’d doubt herself, and whether she deserves (to be) something good, even as Ekko is earnestly reassuring her. He has scars and insecurities of his own to grow past - but maybe, eventually, they could reach something happy and stable?
Jayce Talis/Viktor
I was shipping these guys right from episode two. I love them as lab partners, and all the tropes that entails: late nights working closely together, deep intellectual discussion, witnessing each other's brilliance up close, the little moments of the daily routine, the mundane and the magical mixed together. Their work (and Jayce) is lauded by the public - but the reality of its creation is a more private experience. In some ways there's a quiet intimacy to it all.
But I also love the more transcendent aspects - they're bound together by destiny, the two of them so narratively entwined. "In all timelines, in all possibilities... Only you can show me this." They're inevitable, they're parallels, they're each other's salvation. And in the end it all comes down to Jayce's earnest wish to be with Viktor again, as partners.
I'm less interested in things set during their "divorce era" but you're free to reference it as much as you like. Could be set post-canon, or a canon divergence AU where they became a couple before Viktor merged with the Hexcore. I just need these two as partners and soulmates. (But I love Mel too - so if you choose to include her, please be kind to her.)
Simon Basset/Anthony Bridgerton
These two are both traumatised and both weighed down by duty in different ways - Simon, determined to keep the angry vow made to his terrible father, and Anthony, trying to shepherd the loving family he became head of far too young. Simon has a sharp tongue that rears up when he's hurting, but Anthony knows him better than almost anyone. Anthony might struggle with his forbidden feelings for Simon, but maybe as the eldest brother to seven younger siblings it's easy to slip into the role of protector. Considering the era, maybe there's a current of repressed sexual tension between them, even some internalised homophobia. Could be during their Oxford days, when they're both rakes about town, or a no-wives AU, but I'd really like them to peel back their manly reserve to allow a little softness through.
Etta Candy/Diana Prince/Steve Trevor
I loved how the three of them interacted in London. Steve knows he can rely on Etta, Etta was so casually awed by Diana, Diana immediately took Etta seriously, and we know Diana and Steve are into each other. I'd love an AU where Steve survives the first film and they all get together. Maybe he's injured and needs nursing back to health? Or maybe he's fine and they pine while having adventures together? I'm fine with both "Diana/Steve are a couple; Etta pines for them (and vice versa) before they become a triad" and "Diana/Steve didn't get together yet; they all become a triad at the same time" - whatever works for you!
Paul Atreides/Duncan Idaho
I was sold on these two from that very first hug. Their power dynamic is complicated and intriguing: Duncan is older, stronger, a more skilled warrior, and Paul's combat tutor - but Paul is the heir to House Atreides and capable of using the Voice. And there seems such genuine affection between them. I love how Duncan teases Paul, but also calls him "my boy"... And this exchange: "Can I trust you with something?" "Always. You know that." Omfg. I am all about the trust, loyalty and duty here - on both sides.
I'm mainly looking for something set just before canon, or maybe early in the first film, once Duncan returns from the Fremen - before everything goes to shit on Arrakis. DNW underage, but Paul's age is ambiguous, so I will happily assume he's over 18 at this point. But as he's still young, and there don't seem to be any people his own age around Castle Caladan, I can see Paul still being a virgin. And I'm fine with Paul having had a crush on Duncan before he turned 18, but please don't have Duncan thinking of Paul that way before he's an adult. Other than that, feel free to delve into the age difference as much as you want!
Doric/Xenk Yendar
We don't really get any focused moments between these two in the film, but Doric actually seems like the least hostile to Xenk from the beginning - ironic considering her stance on humans started as "hateful and selfish" and "just can't help but lie"... but then Xenk and his ridiculous paladin goodness are so obviously the opposite of that! If Xenk joined the party for further adventures, I like to imagine they'd become good friends, and then fall in love.
I love Doric's combination of a sharp tongue with her moral integrity and intense environmental concern, and how that contrasts and blends with Xenk's stern intensity, his awkward ways, and his own intense sense of justice and goodness. They're both visibly outsiders in ways the others aren't, so maybe they would have a natural understanding - or they'd bond over the angst of losing their families because of it. And between their outsider status and Xenk's sense of duty, I tend to imagine they're both virgins.
(Please don't mention Simon and Doric breaking up. I'd rather you give them an open relationship, make it an AU where they were never into each other, or just ignore that ship altogether.)
Edgin Darvis/Doric
While trying to recruit her, Edgin was definitely using all his charm (although not in a sexual way) but Doric seemed utterly immune to it. I loved the tender moment when Edgin was sitting on the rock on the beach: his little smile as she walked over, the way she gently patted his shoulder and he patted hers in return, and she smiled back. Maybe his charm would be more welcome now they have a genuine connection, or maybe she'd be the one to instigate it.
I love that Doric is so committed to doing good and looking after nature, but that she doesn't let the rules stand in her way. And she has a very sharp tongue, in contrast to Edgin's silver one. Edgin thinks of himself as a thief and a lawbreaker, and is maybe trying to pretend he doesn't enjoy doing good as much as he actually does. He uses humour and a charming mask to hide his pain, but Doric absolutely doesn't fall for it - even if she'll be soft when he finally lets himself be vulnerable. But is she prepared to be vulnerable in return? Maybe her tiefling status means she's still a virgin...
(Please don't mention Simon and Doric breaking up. I'd rather you give them an open relationship, make it an AU where they were never into each other, or just ignore that ship altogether.)
Edgin Darvis/Xenk Yendar
I have so many feelings about these two. I love their banter and how they spark off each other, how Edgin sees Xenk as an enemy but then grows to respect him and doesn't want him to leave, how Xenk is frustrated with Edgin's criminal tendencies but fully believes in his goodness and is determined to draw it out... Making Edgin swear on the Harper's seal, then tenderly touching his hand? In fact, all of the hand-holding, and the offers of hand-holding. I'd love to see how their relationship develops after the film, with a softer friendship blossoming into romance. (And more touching. Lots of touching. And banter.)
These two are so good for mutual pining. Maybe Xenk thinks he can't be with anyone because of his duty as a paladin, or because the Beckoning Death has left him cursed, partially undead, lacking part of his soul, etc. Maybe Edgin finds out Xenk is a virgin and assumes the guy isn't interested in sex at all. (I do headcanon Xenk as a virgin.) Or Edgin thinks Xenk's too noble and pure to want a criminal like him, or thinks Xenk wants someone more serious or more intellectual. Xenk thinking Edgin's too charming and sociable to want someone as awkward and unbending as him... I love the angsty possibilities of all this, the two of them keeping their feelings secret even as they're practically bursting with longing. Especially as both of them are so touchy-feely! They must be torturing each other.
Edgin Darvis/Zia Darvis/Xenk Yendar
I really like the idea of Edgin getting to be happy with Zia but also with Xenk, and Zia and Xenk being happy together too. So... AU where she never dies? Maybe Edgin stays a Harper and ends up working with Xenk, and they get closer, resulting in Xenk being drawn into the established marriage? Or Edgin and Zia escape the Red Wizards with Kira, and Xenk promises to protect them? Whatever the setup, Xenk ends up pining for both Edgin and Zia - and they're both pining for him?
Edgin seemed a lot softer before Zia's death - and maybe less prone to hiding his feelings - and Zia seemed very sweet and understanding, and I'd love to see what kind of dynamic they develop with kind but serious Xenk.
Simon Aumar/Doric
Simon pining for Doric is basically canon, isn't it? I love seeing this awkward, sarcastic sorcerer being all soft for this spiky, principled little tiefling. And I got the impression she was always interested in him - not just because they seemingly went on one (1) date, but because Doric perked up every time Simon's competency was shown or discussed - but I love that their romance hinged on his character growth, and fixing the lack of confidence that was her dealbreaker, before she'd agree to give it a serious go. I always saw that as her needing him to meet her standards, not him "winning" her in any sense. And I think they make an adorable couple! But before that: pining. So much pining. All the pining from angsty, nervous Simon, please and thank you. (And if you want to do an AU of their get together, I'm totally down with that.)
Simon Aumar/Edgin Darvis
I love how Edgin is absolutely convinced of Simon's potential badassery (he has a mental list of all the times Simon's magic worked!) and how he's determined to make Simon believe it too - and this, for some reason, involves touching Simon's face a lot. Simon is awkward and sulky in the face of this, even though he's perfectly willing to trust Edgin and follow his lead in other areas - maybe Simon is pining, but can't let himself believe that Edgin cares about him, or is a nervous virgin worried about opening his heart? Depending on the situation, maybe Edgin is the one pining - but feels too weird about the age difference, and doesn't want to take advantage of Simon... until something pushes them together. Or maybe they're both pining! Could be post-canon, or a missing scene any time from Simon first joining Edgin's crew of thieves up to Korinn's Keep.
(Please don't mention Simon and Doric breaking up. I'd rather you give them an open relationship, make it an AU where they were never into each other, or just ignore that ship altogether.)
Simon Aumar/Xenk Yendar
In the film, Simon mostly seems to get on Xenk's nerves (being sarcastic! destroying the bridge!) but he's not doing it on purpose and I really think if they spent more time together they could become good friends - and then fall in love. Despite his initial jealousy, Simon is eager for Xenk to stay at the end. Under his sarcasm, his awkwardness, and his occasional sulkiness, Simon is rather sweet and kinda adorable. And once you see past his stern manner and paladin morals, Xenk is kind and actually sorta awkward too.
I like the idea that they're both a bit dorky, deeply interested in niche subjects, in a way none of the others understand. But I think they could find some common ground. But maybe Simon worries that Xenk doesn't like him, or doesn't respect him? And Xenk isn't great at social interaction, so he might not realise Simon feels that way, or might not know how to explain that he actually does care. I can see them both as virgins (due to Simon's awkwardness and Xenk's duty/angst) and maybe worries about intimacy would be the cause of their pining? Or just being convinced the other would never be interested.
(Please don't mention Simon and Doric breaking up. I'd rather you give them an open relationship, make it an AU where they were never into each other, or just ignore that ship altogether.)
Theodore "Laurie" Laurence/Amy March
I already knew these two were endgame, but this was the first version of Little Women I consumed and it's basically the Laurie/Amy truther version, and the ship completely grabbed me. I have so many feelings about their arc: little Amy pining for her big sister's best friend, lonely Laurie slotting right into their family like a brother even as he pines for Jo... then Laurie and Amy reuniting in Europe as adults, with all those childhood years giving them such a comfortable rapport. Only now Amy is a clear-eyed woman dealing with the difficult questions of marriage, and Laurie's struggling with his heartbreak.
I love their gentle, awkward, rollercoaster edging towards open affection - and I love that Amy is so determined to be practical, but still being swayed by her feelings. She's seen the best of Laurie and refuses to let him be his worst - after all, if she can live with unrequited love, why can't he? And I love that she refuses to surrender to her own girlish crush and accept his first flimsy suggestion of feelings - forcing them both to assess what they really want, and to come to each other afresh, in a moment of genuine emotion and honesty. And despite the loss of Beth, they seem so happy together! Laurie practically glows as he talks about Amy.
I'm fine with past Laurie/Jo as long as it was never consummated (although I got the impression in this film, it was more like Laurie had an unrequited crush, or wasn't really sure what kind of love he was feeling?). But you don't have to mention that ship at all, if you don't want to.
Theodore "Laurie" Laurence & Amy March & Beth March & Jo March & Meg March
I love big families, with all the complex intertwined relationships that result, and I love how Laurie blended into that. The girls are all so different but so similar at the same time, and I love the contrasts and parallels between them - like how they all have a creative outlet, but in different spheres. And I had so many feelings about them drawing lonely orphan Laurie into that, turning him into almost a brother figure. The March household seemed so cosy, always so full of homely activity and love - even when they were arguing. I definitely got the impression Laurie was pining to be part of their family - and to stay part of it as they grew up. And who could blame him? All the fun of putting on plays, going ice skating, secret meetings in the attic, matching keys for a private letterbox, celebrating Christmas together... And all four sisters seem fond of Laurie - even shy Beth was happy for Laurie to hug an arm around her when they were preparing to send Marmee to nurse their father.
I'd like all five of them to at least have a small appearance in the work, but you don't have to feature them all equally. Laurie's unrequited crush on Jo and Amy's (currently) unrequited crush on Laurie are fine to include in the background, but please keep the focus on the platonic pining and the sense of them as a group. (I did get the feeling Laurie's behaviour towards Jo and then Amy was partly because, in their gender-restricted world, he felt the only way to stay as brother to the Marches was to become their brother-in-law.)
You could set this any time from Laurie first meeting Jo and being brought to their house, when he was their neighbour from across the way yearning to become part of their family (and vice versa) - or something where he or one of the girls are aching to hold onto that connection/fearing they'll lose it/worrying it doesn't count somehow, between when the sisters induct Laurie into their secret club (which feels like an "officially voted a brother" moment to me) and when he leaves for Europe after being rejected by Jo. Or if you want to do an AU where Beth lives and all five of them get to be a happy family forever, you're welcome to! Or maybe a Hogwarts AU, or some kind of high fantasy AU? Feel free to include Laurie's grandfather, Marmee and/or Mr March too.
Nicholas Devereaux/Mia Thermopolis
This is such a great example of enemies to lovers. I love that they're kind and flirty at their first meeting, because they're immediately attracted to each other, and that even once they're enemies they can't hide that sexual tension. But their enmity is based on both seeking something only one of them can have rather than ideological differences: Nicholas seems more motivated by whether Mia's going to be a good queen and whether she really knows Genovia (and by his uncle's influence), and not a personal hunger for power. So once he's convinced of her capability (and she of his sincerity) and he gives up his claim to the crown, there's no question about whether they'd be able to find common ground.
I love both the push-and-pull of Nicholas flirting and Mia trying to resist (in the closet, by the fountain, the deleted scene in the kitchen) as well as them being soft and friendly with each other: Nicholas supporting Mia by helping with her archery, and the night they spend together before her wedding where we see them opening up emotionally, dancing close, and falling asleep in each other's arms. So I'd love a little more pining between these two. Or maybe an AU - whether canon divergence, with a different confession, or an entire setting change such as high fantasy?
I liked Andrew as a character so no bashing of him please, and it's fine to have Mia/Andrew's unromantic engagement happening in the background or to show them amicably breaking up. Also happy for Clarisse/Joe to be in the background, or for Lilly to visit again. Or cute appearances by Fat Louie the cat or Maurice the dog!
James T. Kirk/Leonard "Bones" McCoy
I love Bones and his sassy grumpiness, and how under that he clearly cares (though possibly he wishes he didn't). Kirk starts off rebellious and traumatised, but obviously has a keen mind and an urge to protect people. Really enjoy both Bones despairing at young, reckless, flirty Kirk, and the more tender moments once Kirk mellows into a slightly-more-responsible captain, like when they're sharing the booze that Bones stole from Chekov.
Do they mutually pine over each other in silence, with Bones maybe believing Kirk isn't even into men? Or maybe Kirk propositions him while they're still at the academy and they become friends with benefits - how long does it take them to admit they have romantic feelings? Or maybe it's only after they're already on their five year mission when they start to see each other that way - does a dangerous situation push them to confess?
(No preference for whether you call them Jim/Kirk or Bones/McCoy, use what you prefer.)
James T. Kirk/Leonard "Bones" McCoy/Spock
Reckless but brilliant Kirk, logical yet emotional Spock, sharp-tongued but compassionate Bones... I love the interplay between these three: snarking yet supporting, frustrated yet protective, so loyal even when they disagree. Each side of the triangle has such a different way of interacting, and I'm interested in all of those as well as how they blend into a trio. Whether they're all single (and pining) before getting together as a triad, or two of them are already dating but they're all pining to be a triad, I don't mind.
Pavel Chekov/James T. Kirk
Chekov is so fucking adorable. I love his earnest enthusiasm, his innocence, and his extreme competency despite his age - and how that fits with Kirk, who's older, more traumatised, and chafes against the rules, but strives to protect his crew. They work so well together, and I really enjoyed how much of Beyond was just the two of them out in the wilds, with a slightly more mature Chekov showing he can handle himself in the field. But maybe the age difference means they'd each think the other isn't interested in them?
Please set this during or after Beyond, i.e. when Chekov is 22 or older.
(No preference for whether you call them Jim/Kirk or Pavel/Chekov, use what you prefer.)
James T. Kirk/Christopher Pike
I love that Pike was the first one to believe in Kirk - and the one who got Kirk to believe in himself. He finds this young guy losing a bar fight and tells him he can do more, be better, live up to not only his potential but his father's legacy. And Kirk hears that challenge and says no, I'll do even better than that.
But there's a tension between them: Pike encourages Kirk's out-of-the-box thinking and urge for heroics, but also expects him to follow the rules (or at least know which rules to break and when). Kirk wants that approval, wants to excel, but he's used to rebellion and reckless behaviour and is willing to risk more than other people are comfortable with. There's this push and pull where they're trying to find where the line should fall, and maybe that could play into their romance: not quite sure if their relationship is appropriate or it's going too far, if it's going to make Kirk a better man or screw him up more.
As a captain, Pike seems kind and steady but also willing to make unconventional choices, and he gives Kirk a chance to speak even when he's just stowed away on his ship. Kirk respects him and wants his respect in return but also chafes against the hierarchy of Starfleet. I'd love to see their relationship blossom into romance, with Pike being encouraging but maybe also conflicted, and Kirk finding a sense of safety even as he's unsettled by commitment.
Not looking for daddy kink here but Kirk's daddy issues are welcome. He obviously has some trauma with regards to his father (and presumably his abusive stepfather) and that's part of why he is the way he is. But with everything that happens in space, they probably both have some trauma due to the terrible things they've seen, maybe even PTSD, and that could play into some hurt/comfort.
If you set this during or after Into Darkness please go AU and have Pike live! (No preference for whether you call them Jim/Kirk or Chris/Pike, use what you prefer.)
James T. Kirk/Montgomery "Scotty" Scott
I love that Scotty is almost immediately loyal to Kirk, and that Kirk absolutely relies on him to get things done - even when Scotty's already resigned from his job. And Scotty might complain, but he'll still rush to help him. I love how Scotty swings between almost innocent cheerfulness that turns to grumpiness when he feels unappreciated, and the humorous possibilities of that with his charming, flirty, almost reckless captain. Kirk's a good leader, but he's got trauma lurking beneath the surface, and I think Scotty would be kind with that. And they're both brilliant in their own ways. But maybe they think the other one wouldn't be interested in them?
James T. Kirk/Spock
I love that Spock is this reserved, logical, controlled figure - but secretly has all this emotion bubbling just beneath the surface. He pairs so well with charming, rebellious, almost reckless Kirk, who struggles to understand and predict Spock despite having such a mind for strategy. They both have so much angst and trauma, though Spock mostly keeps his internal (until he can't) while Kirk wears his externally, and I love to see them comforting and supporting each other. There's respect there even when they disagree - or outright argue - and I love the push and pull of Spock advising Kirk, with Spock wanting the best for him and valiantly trying to steer the unsteerable, while Kirk both values his opinion yet constantly grates against it. They balance each other, yet there's such friction. How does their dynamic translate to pining and an eventual romance?
Franklin "FDR" Foster/Tuck Hansen
I love these two and the dynamic they have: working smoothly together, protecting each other in danger, happily declaring their love for each other, bantering, hanging out. They're deeply competitive but deeply loyal, though there's also a fragility to their friendship. They're such different people - smooth, flirty FDR who hides his angsty past, and earnest, romantic Tuck who's longing for love but doesn't know how to find it - but they have such an easy rapport and genuinely like each other. (Except when they don't.)
When do their declarations of platonic love turn to romantic ones - and do they even notice that change happening? Maybe they mutually pine for a while, or maybe they're already casually having sex before they realise they have romantic feelings - or the intimacy of a dubcon scenario pushes them to confess?
Being spies, they're required to do some dark things - killing, lying, stealing - and that puts them in a bubble together, both because they can't share those secrets and because others might not understand if they did. The fact that they were both so relaxed about surveilling Lauren (and each other) suggests they're not on the same page as most people - but they are on the same page as each other. I'm fine with you acknowledging that, as a "they're fucked up in the same way, and therefore perfect together" type thing, but you're also free to ignore that thread and keep it light - this canon isn't a serious examination of what espionage does to the soul, it's a fun comedy.
Amaya/Asha
These two were so supportive of each other, and worked so well once they teamed up. You could definitely read some symbolism into Amaya becoming ruler and Asha becoming wishmaster - splitting Magnifico's old roles between them. But I loved the scene before Asha's interview, with Amaya calmly preparing and encouraging Asha, even gently holding her hands - and for all her quirky awkwardness, Asha seemed very comfortable with Amaya even then. And that hug she gives Amaya just before the crowd proclaims her queen! I'd love to see one (or both) of them pining for the other as they work together post-canon to make Rosas the best place it can be.
Amaya/Asha/Magnifico of Rosas
I thought the relationships between all three were so interesting, and I'd love to see Amaya and Magnifico fold Asha into their established marriage. Obviously there's a big age difference, so maybe they'd all be hesitant about the idea to begin with - but please either let some time elapse so Asha's 18, or make it an AU where she was 18 to begin with. But I loved Amaya's soft and supportive marriage to Magnifico, and how soft and supportive she was of Asha too. And Asha and Magnifico had such a connection during her interview (before it all went off the rails). How long do they pine, and how does their confession of feelings happen?
No irredeemably evil Magnifico for this ship, please - I'd like him to be a sympathetic antagonist (or even ally!) instead.
Asha/Magnifico of Rosas
I kinda felt like they couldn't decide what Magnifico's motivation was. Like whether he was a purely evil villain powered by arrogance and a need for control, or whether he was a sympathetic antagonist crushed by the pressure of kingship and past trauma. For this exchange, I'd love a more positive interpretation of him. Though even if he's a misguided good guy that genuinely cares, feel free to make him arrogant and a bit manipulative.
Between Asha's interview and them duetting on what was basically a love song, I both shipped these two and really wanted to see them as mentor/apprentice. I love Asha's determination, her compassion, her righteousness, and her quirky goofiness - but if your work suits her being more serious, that's fine. Apprentice AU, canon plotline, or other canon divergence are all welcome. I'd just love some angsty (mutual) pining between them.
Please either make this an AU where Asha is already 18, or have a time skip so she's an adult. And please either give Magnifico and Amaya an open relationship, or make it an AU where they were never a couple.

- For Wish - Amaya/Asha: past Amaya/Magnifico is fine
- For Wish - Amaya/Asha/Magnifico: fully evil or unredeemed Magnifico

- Seasickness. Morning sickness. "Oh no, that thing you just ate was poisoned." Vomiting in the context of hurt/comfort - the loss of control, the pain of throwing up, the vulnerability of being seen that way - whether due to nausea, induced by emetic, or induced by fingers (theirs or partner's). Not interested in the vomit itself, though fine to mention it looks/smells/tastes gross.

- I love both the hurt and comfort parts of the equation! Go heavy on one part and less on the other, or have an equal mix of both.
Smut Likes:
- Positions: Missionary, riding and other face-to-face positions, for eye contact and/or lots of kissing. But spooning pairs well with gentle sex, and oral fingering's probably more easily done from behind.
- Locations: In bed, in a chair, against a wall, on the floor... In the bedroom, in the living room, in an alley, in a forest, in a dungeon, on a ship, on the victorious battlefield... Basically anywhere? Yeah.
- Acts: Anal sex, including het anal. Vaginal sex. Loss of virginity. First time bottoming. Pegging. Strap-ons. Deepthroating. Oral fingering. Kissing during sex. Breastplay (fondling, gently squeezing, kissing). Nippleplay (pinching, kissing, licking).
- Moods: Gentle sex. Tender sex. Fluffy sex. Hurt/comfort sex. Sex with lots of feelings. Vulnerability and trust.
- BDSM: Dom/sub. Bondage. Pinned down. Kneeling. Collaring. Praise kink. Orgasm delay/edging. BDSM AUs.
- Dubcon: Sex pollen. Fuck or die. Sex caused by magic or to perform magic. Pining during dubcon. (Whether they admit their feelings during, after, or not at all.) Having to trust each other with the unexpected intimacy. Worrying about being so vulnerable but being kind to each other and coming out stronger on the other side.
- Size kink and stretching: Big cocks. Painful penetration. Lots of foreplay/prep, slow and gentle penetration so it isn't painful. Large object insertions. Sounding.
- Omegaverse: Alpha/Omega. Painfully big alpha dicks. Knotting. Sexy pheromones. Pheromones that communicate fear, or anger, or other emotions. Alpha pheromones that make the omega feel safe, or protected, or calm.
- An undercover situation requires them to fuck while being watched, but they successfully fake it - except the kisses, the touches, the proximity, and the "is it okay if I..." questions whispered right in each other's ears were all very real. And some of those moans didn't sound fake. Either they're so wound up they fuck for real once they're no longer being watched, or the feelings keep simmering until they boil over later.
