Fifteenth Doctor/Kid

I loved this horrible little goatman way too much. Kid is charming and gleefully immoral, and he arrives in the Doctor’s life at a time when the Doctor is off balance - sinking into his own darkness, losing sight of his compassion and kindness. The Doctor’s behaviour in this episode pushes right up against the limits of who he is, and I’d prefer him not to go that far again - but I did love that holographic torture glove. There was a tension between these two that really caught my attention, and there are so many possibilities that I’d love to see explored. Meeting again, meeting previously, or canon divergence; conflicted feelings, hatesex, dubcon, an unexpectedly soft romance, or Kid nonconning the Doctor all welcome.

Fifteenth Doctor/Rogue

The Doctor is so old but so young, weighed down by centuries but full of hope and joy. Rogue has (presumably) lived only one lifetime - but it's already left him with so much pain. I love the contrast between them - fun and compassionate vs reserved and intense - and really want their flirtation to resume. Would love to see some hurt/comfort or vulnerable intimacy after they reunite. How many new scars have they gained? But something fluffy and/or domestic would be great too! They both deserve some softness.

I'm happy for your work to feature a reunion, or for you to skip straight to an established relationship - or maybe an AU where they were never separated at all. Feel free to include Ruby and/or Belinda as companions as well.

Jack Chambers/Frank Carlson

That scene where Frank calls Jack up on stage to give him a promotion and slip a ring on his finger, man. Symbolic much? And then Frank pushes him into dancing for everyone. I can definitely see Frank giving compliments, singling Jack out, telling him he's special, etc and using that to steer or even coerce him into sex. Jack probably has a bit of hero worship for Frank, so I think he'd be susceptible, regardless of his feelings for Alice.

You could do this as a missing scene or maybe an AU of some kind. Did something happen when Frank and Jack went outside after the dinner party? Or what about at Frank's house: Alice finds Jack in Frank's dressing room, a bit dishevelled and playing with a tie... Had they just been doing something? Or I'm sure there are many other opportunities for them to have had a secret liaison.

Due to the nature of the relationships in this canon, I'm fine with cheating and breakups here. Also happy for Alice/Jack and Frank/Shelley (or even Alice/Frank) to be happening in the background. I'm not looking for noncon, but consensual or dubcon is good: maybe Jack is fully on board with everything Frank's doing, or maybe Frank slowly manipulates him into it.

Narrative Prompts

• After Frank gives Jack the ring on stage, they have a private celebration away from prying eyes.

I was sold on these two from that very first hug. Their power dynamic is complicated and intriguing: Duncan is older, stronger, a more skilled warrior, and Paul's combat tutor - but Paul is the heir to House Atreides and capable of using the Voice. And there seems such genuine affection between them. I love how Duncan teases Paul, but also calls him "my boy"... And this exchange: "Can I trust you with something?" "Always. You know that." Omfg. I am all about the trust, loyalty and duty here - on both sides.

I'm mainly looking for something set just before canon, or maybe early in the first film, once Duncan returns from the Fremen - before everything goes to shit on Arrakis. DNW underage, but Paul's age is ambiguous, so I will happily assume he's over 18 at this point.

Narrative Prompts

• Paul may be the heir, but when they're sparring he's intensely aware of how much older and more skilled Duncan is than him - and Duncan makes sure to remind him.
  
• Some softer fluff, with fond teasing and little touches, on Caladan or on Arrakis.

• Duncan's used to serving, but allowing Paul to practise the Voice on him forces Duncan to place his trust in the young man, and accept how vulnerable it makes him.
  
• Paul starts having dreams about Duncan - about Duncan's smile, Duncan's touch, Duncan's mouth on his. But they can't be prophetic. Because a man like Duncan would never be interested in him like that... would he?
  
• If you want to do an AU where Duncan somehow lives and/or Paul comes to his rescue and they escape together, I'm very down with that. Is Paul desperate to keep Duncan close after seeing the man nearly sacrifice his life - after realising Duncan would do that for him?
  
• Paul wants his first time to be with someone who has the experience - and the tenderness - to guide him through it.
  
• When Duncan unexpectedly calls him a "good boy" in bed, Paul isn't expecting how intensely his body reacts.
  
• Duncan is an alpha, with a scent as commanding as his presence in battle. When omega Paul goes into heat, he practically begs Duncan for his knot.

Dralas/Xenk Yendar

For this ship, I'm fine with conflicted feelings that are never acted upon, hatesex, dubcon, or Dralas nonconning Xenk. Breakups are okay, as they are clearly not together at the time of the movie.

Their dialogue makes it clear that these two have a history, but what kind of history is that? Were they always enemies? We don't really get a sense of Dralas's past or how they met but, in contrast to the compassion and encouragement Xenk shows everyone else, Dralas is the one person that Xenk calls "loathsome"... Is Xenk conflicted about treating Dralas so negatively, or does he feel it's justified? Dralas seems almost teasing during their conversation. Does he enjoy getting a rise out of the stoic paladin?

Unlike the Red Wizards, Dralas bears the same mark on his forehead that Xenk does. Was he a victim of the Beckoning Death, like those "honourable men" Xenk saw turned into monsters? Trained as an assassin, with no memory of his mortal life? Or did he willingly submit to undeath, choosing to serve Szass Tam? Maybe he had been an assassin for years - or maybe he was a child at the time of the Beckoning Death, who survived the spell but was ripped from his family anyway, and brainwashed as they trained him to serve in the future? Maybe he was even Xenk's childhood friend! (Whichever you choose, I'd prefer child Xenk not to have met an adult Dralas, or vice versa.)

If you go for a post-film setting, it's fine to mention that Dralas survived being eaten by Themberchaud and that it wasn't pleasant, but I don't want any further details!

Narrative Prompts

• They first met when Szass Tam sent Dralas undercover to win Xenk's trust and then force undeath on him/capture him and take him back to Thay. But the more he got to know Xenk, the more complicated Dralas's loyalties became...
  
• Or maybe they were childhood friends and Xenk once had hope of freeing him from the curse of undeath. Maybe Dralas used that to play on Xenk's sympathies, trying to convince him he didn't really want to be a villain. Did Xenk give up on Dralas because he realised only a Tablet of Reawakening could free him, or because he realised Dralas had totally converted to Szass Tam's side?
  
• They're trapped in a dungeon or somewhere, and the only way for either of them to escape is to work together.
  
• Dralas tries to tempt Xenk to the dark side. He'd never give in, of course, but maybe Dralas makes it painful enough that he wishes he could - maybe through magical torture, or magic that fucks with his mind.
  
• Or Xenk needs some information from Dralas, and he casts a Zone of Truth before interrogating him.
  
• Another fight between them, but this time without weapons - resulting in a lot of grabbing, wrestling and straddling.
  
• Dralas captures Xenk and tenderly menaces him, the tension slowly rising.
  
• In the middle of a fight, they accidentally disturb something that releases sex pollen. Now they have to fuck or both of them will die, permanently.
  
• Dralas survived being eaten by Themberchaud and decides to get revenge by nonconning Xenk. Maybe the other assassins watch - or join in.

Edgin Darvis/Forge Fitzwilliam

I love that Forge genuinely cares about Edgin, wants good things for him, enjoys spending time with him... and yet will quite happily ruin Edgin's life if it enriches his own. And he doesn't see any contradiction in that! That's so deliciously complicated.

Meanwhile Edgin seems to have trusted Forge, not only enough to ask him to look after Kira, but to be surprised when Forge later reveals his betrayal at Korinn's Keep. All that time he had to think while spending two years in Revel's End, and Edgin never considered that the con man could have been a traitor? Is Forge that good? Is Edgin actually a bit naive? Or has Edgin always been suspicious of Forge - but thought that his own criminal talents were enough that he would spot any betrayal before it happened? And, as he didn't see it, obviously Forge hadn't betrayed him...

I'd love to see these two being flirty and charming together, whether during one of their schemes or while relaxing in a tavern. Feel free to have Forge manipulating Edgin, or Edgin not being sure if he's being manipulated or not. I'm happy with it being either a fun, angst-free ship before the betrayal, or unsettling yet hot - or Forge could noncon Edgin once he reveals his villainy. I usually assume Forge tops, but maybe he likes bottoming - or maybe the situation requires it.

Narrative Prompts

• One night at an inn, Edgin (or both of them) gets really drunk and they end up making out. Maybe they go to bed together, or maybe Edgin halts proceedings because he feels too guilty about Zia.
  
• They have some kind of friends-with-benefits situation. Maybe just to blow off some steam with someone convenient. Maybe Edgin's deeply missing Zia and needs to feel something else for a while. Maybe they genuinely like each other but they're too emotionally constipated to do more than fuck.

I wasn’t expecting to ship these two so hard, or for it to get so fucked up. The more I rewatch their scenes, the more I fall in love with all the layers of it - the tragedy, the manipulation, the thwarted hope, the yearning defiance. I love awful, charming Sauron, so easily steering Celebrimbor towards a dark fate, absolutely convinced that his goals are good and worthy - and yet, despite his mirage of affection, ruthlessly torturing and murdering Celebrimbor. I would love Annatar to guide oblivious Celebrimbor into a relationship, with all the consent issues and dangerous undercurrent that entails, even as Celebrimbor is savouring his assumed happiness - and Annatar is playing along. Or perhaps, if Sauron is capable of anything that even looks like love, maybe experiencing some tender feelings of his own. Maybe he has to use his illusions to trick Celebrimbor into it, or maybe Celebrimbor chooses it willingly. Or maybe they were never a couple, but in his hour of triumph Sauron decides to assert his power in a display of absolute dominance, and noncon Celebrimbor. (Maybe they were a couple, and it also ends in noncon.) I love all of Sauron’s creepy, gentle encroachment on Celebrimbor, so tender with his prey - and even when he argues, Celebrimbor places such deep trust in Annatar, from the moment Sauron takes that form. Getting together, established relationship, dubcon, and noncon are all fine. I don’t want Celebrimbor’s death to feature - but Sauron torturing him, shooting him with arrows then pressing on them to summon agony, is very welcome. They work so well together, and I really enjoyed how much of Beyond was just the two of them out in the wilds, with a slightly more mature Chekov showing he can handle himself in the field.

Would love to see them as a couple, with Kirk's captainly urges to keep people safe translating into him being soft and tender. Does Chekov's enthusiasm carry over into an excitement to share new experiences, from dates in interesting places, to exploring new sexual possibilities with Kirk? Does Kirk initially try to hide his trauma from his younger partner? Or do they spend ages mutually pining, with both thinking the age gap means the other would never be interested? What finally gets them to confess - a bad injury, dubcon sex, or simply an inability to hold it in any more?

I love that Pike was the first one to believe in Kirk - and the one who got Kirk to believe in himself. He finds this young guy losing a bar fight and tells him he can do more, be better, live up to not only his potential but his father's legacy. And Kirk hears that challenge and says no, I'll do even better than that.

But there's a tension between them: Pike encourages Kirk's out-of-the-box thinking and urge for heroics, but also expects him to follow the rules (or at least know which rules to break and when). Kirk wants that approval, wants to excel, but he's used to rebellion and reckless behaviour and is willing to risk more than other people are comfortable with. There's this push and pull where they're trying to find where the line should fall, and maybe that could play into how they are as a couple: not quite sure if their relationship is appropriate or it's going too far, if it's going to make Kirk a better man or screw him up more.

As a captain, Pike seems kind and steady but also willing to make unconventional choices, and he gives Kirk a chance to speak even when he's just stowed away on his ship. Kirk respects him and wants his respect in return but also chafes against the hierarchy of Starfleet. I'd love to see their relationship blossom into more, with Pike being encouraging but maybe also conflicted, and Kirk finding a sense of safety even as he's unsettled by commitment. Or maybe they have to rely on their platonic relationship to get them through a sexual encounter caused by sex pollen or alien demands or an omegaverse heat.

Not looking for daddy kink here but Kirk's daddy issues are welcome. He obviously has some trauma with regards to his father (and presumably his abusive stepfather) and that's part of why he is the way he is. But with everything that happens in space, they probably both have some trauma due to the terrible things they've seen, maybe even PTSD, and that could play into some hurt/comfort.

He clearly respects Pike, willing to drop everything to be at his side, but he also senses there's a more tender connection between them - whether it's the shadow of Pike's future, or simply how much Pike cares, Spock is opening up to him.

• Or maybe Xenk is torn between compassion and suspicion. Is Xenk worried that Simon's eerie similarity is some trick by the Red Wizards? How would Simon gain his trust? (Is Simon intrigued by the mark on Xenk's forehead, not understanding what it means?)
  
• Maybe it's Xenk who gets sent to Regency times. Does he cause a stir by arriving during a ball, either because he's so intensely serious, or because people notice his similarity to Simon? Maybe he arrives at the gentlemen’s club, and Simon has to drag him into a dark corner before all the drunk people realise there's two of them wandering around? Or maybe Simon bumps into Xenk on the street, while the paladin is trying to be ridiculously kind at someone?
  
• Some people have suggested Xenk's line about "you may have forsworn your oath but your oath hasn't forsworn you" means he can actually see the oaths binding a person somehow - so maybe he can see Simon's! Does he gently bring it up, hoping for more details so he can soothe his pain? Or can Xenk already see the details and pain bound up in them, and finds another way to be soft with him?
