But what other moments did they have on the journey to forging that bond? When was the first time Elizabeth's heart swelled in Marjorie's presence? The first time Marjorie sought Elizabeth out instead of her previous favourite? Their first hug?
Them chasing each other around the castle was so cute too. I'd love to see them playing more games like that, whether tag or hide and seek or similar. Maybe a fun little roleplay, imagining they're slaying dragons? Or playing dress-up with Elizabeth's clothes?
Or playing games with, taking care of, or relaxing with Jessie. Maybe trying to teach him a new trick? Or just stroking him together as they sit by the fire.
How many times has Elizabeth sung Bonny At Morn to Marjorie as she drifted off to sleep? What about when she was awake? Does Elizabeth teach the song to Marjorie - or did Marjorie already know it, and they like to sing it together? What about other songs? Maybe Marjorie made up a song of her own and got Elizabeth to join in.
If you want to do something angstier, how about a fic set while they're on the run - or after they've been captured. Maybe Marjorie is upset by thoughts of what could be happening to her father, even has a nightmare about it, and Elizabeth gently comforts her. Or maybe Elizabeth finds ways to distract Marjorie and keep her occupied while they're locked up. Or Elizabeth herself takes comfort from holding Marjorie close.
On the beach, Robert said Marjorie was waiting for Elizabeth. Show me their happy reunion.
I'd love something that shows their bond continuing to grow after the film too, as Marjorie grows up. Maybe Elizabeth counselling Marjorie about some worry? Teaching her something? Even just reading to her. Or still enjoying hugs, even as Marjorie gets older.
In real life, Elizabeth and Robert had more children together. Was Marjorie excited about having some siblings? Maybe she was awed by feeling the baby kick inside Elizabeth's belly. What about the moment Elizabeth introduced the newborn to Marjorie?

I love the gentle, tender romance that develops between these two. Robert is clearly attracted to Elizabeth from the moment they meet, but out of respect for her autonomy or for his first wife, he refuses to claim his "marital rights". Elizabeth is resigned to her duty, striding into her new life despite the flicker of fear over physical intimacy - and when she discovers that sex is off the table, it gives her space to fall in love with him.

I love the quiet, sometimes awkward moments of daily life, encountering each other in corridors and repeatedly saying goodnight - as well as Elizabeth developing a strong bond with Marjorie. But I also love the bolder, more political moments, from the ceremonies to Elizabeth displaying her political nouse and swearing herself to him. They match each other on every level - ruling together, laughing together, supporting each other's needs, whether big or small - and their love is deep and genuine. I was so pleased that she was the one to invite him to bed, and that he waited for her without question, resulting in a tender and passionate consummation. And I love that - despite her being a determined, intelligent queen and him being a complex, canny leader capable of brutality - when they're laughing and kissing they feel more like awkward, earnest teenage lovers embarking on innocent first love. If you want to try and capture all those nuances, you're very welcome to - but I'd be happy with something that highlights just one aspect, whether fluffy or dramatic or smutty.

You're very welcome to include Marjorie, or their other historical children, as well as references to Robert's relationship with his first wife. Also, don't feel you need to be historically accurate at all - the film clearly isn't! If you do happen to know about the period, feel free to use that knowledge to expand on the film, though please don't change anything established by the movie. But you're also welcome to just make up details that "feel right".

I'd love some post-canon fluff, as they get to enjoy truly being husband and wife. Does Robert keep giving her thistles? Do they keep teasingly saying goodnight? Do they sneak quiet moments together between their duties, giggling or kissing in a corner? What about waking up together, eating together, cuddling in front of a roaring fire, falling asleep together? How do they mark the passing of seasons?
Or something more dramatic, with them dealing with the realities of ruling a country. Listening to petitioners, trying to solve their issues. Making alliances and laws. Deciding on fair taxation, and rebuilding Scotland after so much destruction. Dealing with the Scottish nobles. Any of it, all of it. And supporting each other - intellectually, emotionally, physically - giving advice but also cuddling after an exhausting day.
They already have Marjorie, but Robert would need a male heir - and they did have more children in real life. Anything focusing on that - from planning and hoping, to anticipating the baby once Elizabeth is pregnant, to dealing with things like morning sickness, or worry that Elizabeth will die like Robert's first wife Isabella... to their joy and excitement once the child arrives safely, or the realities of raising them. Robert and Elizabeth are both adorable with Marjorie, so I'd love some more cuteness as their family grows.
Although they have separate bedrooms, maybe they accidentally fall asleep together after some frantic lovemaking - and one of them has a nightmare. Robert saw so much horror on the path to affirming his rule, and Elizabeth spent so long in that cage hanging from the castle walls. But now they're back together, they can comfort each other over their trauma.
Now they're reunited, they have the opportunity for their second time - or third, fourth, fifth... Show me these two exploring physical intimacy together, whether it's a tender coupling while they're still discovering each other's bodies, or a passionate night years down the line.
It's fourteenth century Scotland, so there might not be established knowledge of kinks - but that doesn't mean they can't have fantasies that they explore together. Maybe they both have a praise kink. Maybe Elizabeth loves to feel her husband's big strong body holding her down. This is such a great example of enemies to lovers. I love that they're kind and flirty at their first meeting, because they're immediately attracted to each other, and that even once they're enemies they can't hide that sexual tension. But their enmity is based on both seeking something only one of them can have rather than ideological differences: Nicholas seems more motivated by whether Mia's going to be a good queen and whether she really knows Genovia (and by his uncle's influence), and not a personal hunger for power. So once he's convinced of her capability (and she of his sincerity) and he gives up his claim to the crown, there's no question about whether they'd be able to find common ground.

I love both the push-and-pull of Nicholas flirting and Mia trying to resist (in the closet, by the fountain, the deleted scene in the kitchen) as well as them being soft and friendly with each other: Nicholas supporting Mia by helping with her archery, and the night they spend together before her wedding where we see them opening up emotionally, dancing close, and falling asleep in each other's arms. So I'd love a post-canon continuation of that as their relationship develops, or is fully established, or a missing scene while Nicholas is still living at the palace and they keep running into each other. Or maybe an AU?

I liked Andrew as a character so no bashing of him please, and it's fine to have Mia/Andrew's unromantic engagement happening in the background or to show them amicably breaking up. Also happy for Clarisse/Joe to be in the background, or for Lilly to visit again. Or cute appearances by Fat Louie the cat or Maurice the dog!

Narrative Prompts

More of Nicholas cooking for Mia? Maybe she's worrying about losing the crown and can't sleep, so goes to get a midnight snack, and he just happens to want one too - and there's both softness and tension as he prepares and shares something amazing. Or them as an established couple: flirting over a normal breakfast, Nicholas learning Mia's favourite foods, or him going all out with a special romantic dinner.
Dealing with the press or public officials now that Mia's queen. Maybe after the scandal of Mia's broken engagement and being caught sleeping in Nicholas's arms the press are even more interested in all the gossip - and the two of them have to rely on each other during a series of intense "look, we're engaged" press events. Or maybe something fluffier and more humourous, with Nicholas subtly helping to support Mia as she mingles at an event.
Or silly fluff based on Mia's continuing clumsiness. Nicholas seemed amused and forgiving when she stepped on his foot the first time, and when she fell on him climbing down from her window. So more of that: Mia causing minor chaos and Nicholas calmly dealing with it, or maybe a fall results in an intimate position that gets them riled up and means they spend the rest of an event jittering because they're desperate to be alone.
I'd be interested to see how these two and their dynamic play out in other settings: steampunk AU, daemon AU, Hogwarts AU? Regency AU, where the scandal with Nicholas almost ruins her? Or Mia can't convince parliament to change the law and Nicholas has to marry her right then so she can keep the crown? Fantasy AU where they're both competing to be the next leader of a dragonrider battalion? Or a genderswap: how does the plot change if Nicholas is Nicola, and also needs to marry to get the crown?
Presumably they're going to need children to be heirs to the crown, so anything to do with that. Soft fluffy moments during pregnancy as they look forward to their first child - or hurt/comfort where Mia has morning sickness and Nicholas looks after her. The joys of raising their kids together: maybe Nicholas using his skill for accents to read a bedtime story while Mia's heart melts? Or maybe some breeding kink smut, as they prepare to make that baby.
Mia said she's never been in love before, so is she a virgin? Would love to see experienced Nicholas slowly and gently taking her virginity - and being surprised himself at how intense and intimate sex is with a partner he loves. Do they have a short engagement and wait until their wedding night? Or do they decide to take that step before then, once they feel secure in their feelings and trust?

I wasn't expecting to ship these two so hard, or for it to get so fucked up. The more I rewatch their scenes, the more I fall in love with all the layers of it - the tragedy, the manipulation, the thwarted hope, the yearning defiance. I love awful, charming Sauron, so easily steering Celebrimbor towards a dark fate, absolutely convinced that his goals are good and worthy - and yet, despite his mirage of affection, ruthlessly torturing and murdering Celebrimbor. And I love poor Celebrimbor, brimming with such talent and wonder, rightfully proud yet slightly fragile, caught in a trap he can't escape and a damned creation he cannot unmake, resolutely sacrificing everything in the hope of a brighter future.

I would love Annatar to guide oblivious Celebrimbor into a relationship, with all the consent issues and dangerous undercurrent that entails, even as Celebrimbor is savouring his assumed happiness - and Annatar is playing along. Or perhaps, if Sauron is capable of anything that even looks like love, maybe experiencing some tender feelings of his own. Maybe he has to use his illusions to trick Celebrimbor into it, or maybe Celebrimbor chooses it willingly. Or maybe they were never a couple, but in his hour of triumph Sauron decides to assert his power in a display of absolute dominance, and noncon Celebrimbor. (Maybe they were a couple, and it also ends in noncon.) I love all of Sauron's creepy, gentle encroachment on Celebrimbor, so tender with his prey - and even when he argues, Celebrimbor places such deep trust in Annatar, from the moment Sauron takes that form. Getting together, established relationship, dubcon, and noncon are all fine. I don't want Celebrimbor's death to feature - but Sauron torturing him, shooting him with arrows then pressing on them to summon agony, is very welcome. But I'd also love something lower key, seemingly fluffy but with a hint of threat.

Or maybe his sleep is filled with nightmares, while ensnared by the illusions or long before that, worrying that he won't manage to save Lindon or that Gilgalad will discover he lied and shut down his forge or... but Halbrand or Annatar is there to whisper reassurance.
Or, after discovering Sauron's identity, Celebrimbor has a nightmare about him - and wakes to find himself caught in an even worse nightmare. He doesn't want Sauron's comfort - but Sauron is going to give it anyway.
Celebrimbor whump with more of that arrow torture. There were four arrows in him before we cut to that scene. Show me Sauron firing those shots and/or arching in close to gently stroke Celebrimbor's cheek, stroke his hair, claim a kiss, tenderly threaten him, or press down on those arrows until he screams.
Annatar seduces Celebrimbor. Maybe Celebrimbor is hesitant, worried about the intimacy, even a nervous virgin - but as ever, Annatar knows just the words to soothe him, and steer him into what he wants.
Late one night in the forge, Celebrimbor begins to feel a strange heat coursing through him, and it's not from the flames - it's sex pollen, and who is he going to turn to but his faithful advisor Annatar? (But is this a random occurrence, or did Sauron dose him?)

Celebrimbor/Elrond Peredhel

I love how quickly these two bonded. From Elrond's initial awe, it seemed like they'd established an equal respect by the time they reached Khazad-dum, as if they'd been friends for centuries. I'd love that friendship to tip over into romance. They're just so gently supportive, so relaxed together, and I think brilliant but vulnerable Celebrimbor needs that - though Elrond also isn't afraid to question or refuse him, which he needs as well. And I think Celebrimbor's presence is a safe haven for Elrond too, a sliver of calm amidst the burdens of the plot. That plot necessarily separates them, but his desperation to rescue Celebrimbor - and his heartbreak at the destruction of Celebrimbor's records - is so palpable.

I would love a missing scene - on that first journey to Khazad-dum, while the new forge is being built, while Celebrimbor is struggling to make the elven rings. But some canon divergence would be great too. What if Elrond had returned to Eregion during season two - and realised Annatar was untrustworthy? What if he managed to save Celebrimbor (if the dwarves weren't delayed, if they fought through the siege quicker, if Celebrimbor's escape attempt went better) and they had the chance of a future together? Some hurt/comfort would be great, but also fluff, or smut - or maybe a little pining, if they don't realise or confess their feelings immediately. Maybe they don't get together until that AU future, maybe they got together very early on, or anywhere in between. Getting together and established relationship both fine. I just want dutiful Elrond and tragic Celebrimbor to find an oasis of happiness together.

These two don't get to interact much, mostly bumping into each other in a military context when their separate plotlines intersect. But there's a clear undercurrent of trust there - Arondir deeply respectful of honoured commander Galadriel. They have such an intense and emotionally vulnerable moment in the forest, when Galadriel discourages Arondir from sacrificing himself, calling him a hero as she tenderly cups his cheek. And Arondir is simmering with protective urges as Gilgalad tries to heal Galadriel's tainted wound. But mainly, I love each of them separately - repressed and dutiful Arondir, determined to make a difference despite the pain of his lost love; strong but conflicted Galadriel, tempted by darkness but ever reaching for the light - and I'd love to see what dynamic they develop, because I think they could find something sweet and supportive together. And I loved that in the end, after all his opposition to the rings, it was for Galadriel's sake that Elrond chose to wear one.

I would love a soft layer of romance (and sex) on top of their existing friendship, not changing or diminishing it, but adding a new yet similar flavour. If the result is an ambiguous or entirely romantic depiction, I'm totally okay with that. I just want their canon trust and support (and disagreements) to be the foundation for their relationship - still friends, but now they also kiss. Or fuck. Fond platonic love, but also gentle romantic love. And maybe an exasperated Elrond trying to temper Galadriel's need to personally chase down Sauron - or maybe Sauron stabbing her with his crown was enough to steer Galadriel to a wiser course?

These two have such an interesting arc. From that initial friction, to imprisonment, to hesitant trust, to a full alliance - armoured women sailing to battle together. I was hoping season two would bring that reunion and it didn't, but I feel like there's still so much potential between them. They're both strong women, both carrying the burdens of weighty events, and I feel like they could offer each other practical support as well as soothing each other's souls. And also fucking.

Miriel is torn between her father's elvish ways and the machinations of her nobles, her blindness becoming less of an obstacle than their opinions of her. Galadriel is tempted by the darkness, changed by her hunting of it, but ever reaching for the light. I think they could guide each other through their internal and external struggles, with all the trust that led them to vow as their foundation. Something soft and fluffy, with an angstier edge as they deal with plot events, maybe tipping into hurt/comfort, or tender smut are all welcome. Getting together and established relationship both fine, whether a missing scene, a future reunion, or a canon divergence AU. But I'd also be interested in something set earlier in their relationship, during that period of unresolved (sexual) tension, with that simmering friction resulting in an intense kiss or even hate sex. (I don't think Miriel would use her power over Galadriel to influence her into sex, but by its nature there could be a slightly dubcon vibe if they were fucking while Galadriel was imprisoned, and that's not a problem for me.)

There's so much tension between them - so much hope, so much betrayal. I love all of the possibilities here. Galadriel is strong but conflicted, determined to the point of being unhealthy, focused on making a better world but walking a knife-edge of temptation. Sauron is a sweet manipulator, whispering honey as he reaches for a blade - but he really seems to believe that what he wants is best for the world. If Galadriel ever did (or had) accepted Sauron's proposal and joined him as his queen, could she temper his worst impulses and bring peace to Middle-Earth, edging his tyranny towards benevolence - or would his slow corruption darken her soul a little?

But maybe they can only ever be enemies - even if they're also something else, or desire to be. Will they only ever fuck each other up, emotionally or physically? Would his past and future betrayals carve new hollows in her heart? Would her continued refusals sting his ego? Would they do battle again, tension rising, their clash of swords slipping to an intense kiss - or to Sauron stabbing Galadriel again? Or would Sauron gain the upper hand, through violence or trickery, and gleefully noncon a trapped Galadriel?

Getting together or established whatever; consensual, dubcon, or noncon; as Halbrand or Annatar or another future form; lovers dragging each other towards a grey morality, or enemies tearing at each other's souls... These two are locked on a collision course, tied by destiny, and I want anything and everything that they could be.

Gaila/Nyota Uhura

I love the roommates-to-lovers trope and the tiny glimpse we get of these two makes me think they'd be perfect for it. Uhura has no hesitation about stripping to her underwear in front of Gaila, who's already lying there mostly naked herself. That's exactly the kind of casual intimacy (and forced proximity) I love for this trope. But they've clearly got some friction too - and it'd be easy to spin Uhura making Gaila promise to stop bringing guys back to the room as a spark of jealousy. It seems like they are friends though: their casual chat about Uhura's work (even while Kirk's hiding under the bed!) seems both normal for them and shows they do tell each other about their lives.

We don't get to see much of Gaila and her personality, but her big grin to Uhura after being given her ship assignment makes me think she's cheerful and earnest. Uhura is sharper, but she's brilliant and hardworking, and not afraid of tough situations. And she has a caring side too. I'd love to see what kind of dynamic results between them, whether before or after the first film.

This version of Trek doesn't really delve into the Orion species, so I'm fine with them just being random aliens - but I've heard in other versions that Orion women release sexy pheromones, if that's something you want to include? Might be interesting if Gaila is supernaturally attractive to guys - but Uhura is immune, and they have to build a real relationship based on an emotional connection. (Or uninfluenced sexual attraction.) Also, Gaila confessed feelings to Kirk really quickly, which makes me wonder if she has a pattern of getting attached to people before she should - maybe she has to stop and work out if what she feels for Uhura is genuine. Or peer through the fog of a cycle of attractions to guys to find something more solid with Uhura.

Casual Gaila/OMCs or Gaila/Kirk as background or past relationships is fine, but please no Uhura/Spock or requited Uhura/Kirk, even in the past. No preference for whether you call her Uhura or Nyota, use what you prefer.

Or maybe Gaila was presumed dead for a while, and then Uhura finds she's been kept captive on another planet somehow - and goes to rescue her?
While sharing a room (or a bed!) one of them has a nightmare and the other one comforts her.
A night out results in some drinking, some dancing, and maybe some kissing.
Working together when a mission goes wrong and they're stuck on an alien planet together. Or some relaxing shore leave, as they get to explore the wonders of a beautiful planet together.
They strike up a friends with benefits arrangement at the academy, for fun and stress relief. But maybe the more times they sleep together, the more they can't help pining for a romantic relationship.
Maybe Gaila flirting with random guys is a bratty sub strategy to bait Uhura into disciplining her - and Uhura is happy to provide that.

Chekov is so fucking adorable. I love his earnest enthusiasm, his innocence, and his extreme competency despite his age - and how that fits with Kirk, who's older, more traumatised, and chafes against the rules, but strives to protect his crew. They work so well together, and I really enjoyed how much of Beyond was just the two of them out in the wilds, with a slightly more mature Chekov showing he can handle himself in the field.

Would love to see them as a couple, with Kirk's captainly urges to keep people safe translating into him being soft and tender. Does Chekov's enthusiasm carry over into an excitement to share new experiences, from dates in interesting places, to exploring new sexual possibilities with Kirk? Does Kirk initially try to hide his trauma from his younger partner? Or do they spend ages mutually pining, with both thinking the age gap means the other would never be interested? What finally gets them to confess - a bad injury, dubcon sex, or simply an inability to hold it in any more?

I love that Pike was the first one to believe in Kirk - and the one who got Kirk to believe in himself. He finds this young guy losing a bar fight and tells him he can do more, be better, live up to not only his potential but his father's legacy. And Kirk hears that challenge and says no, I'll do even better than that.

But there's a tension between them: Pike encourages Kirk's out-of-the-box thinking and urge for heroics, but also expects him to follow the rules (or at least know which rules to break and when). Kirk wants that approval, wants to excel, but he's used to rebellion and reckless behaviour and is willing to risk more than other people are comfortable with. There's this push and pull where they're trying to find where the line should fall, and maybe that could play into how they are as a couple: not quite sure if their relationship is appropriate or it's going too far, if it's going to make Kirk a better man or screw him up more.

As a captain, Pike seems kind and steady but also willing to make unconventional choices, and he gives Kirk a chance to speak even when he's just stowed away on his ship. Kirk respects him and wants his respect in return but also chafes against the hierarchy of Starfleet. I'd love to see their relationship blossom into more, with Pike being encouraging but maybe also conflicted, and Kirk finding a sense of safety even as he's unsettled by commitment. Or maybe they have to rely on their platonic relationship to get them through a sexual encounter caused by sex pollen or alien demands or an omegaverse heat.

Not looking for daddy kink here but Kirk's daddy issues are welcome. He obviously has some trauma with regards to his father (and presumably his abusive stepfather) and that's part of why he is the way he is. But with everything that happens in space, they probably both have some trauma due to the terrible things they've seen, maybe even PTSD, and that could play into some hurt/comfort.

Or an AU where Into Darkness never happens and Pike's still around when Kirk is an older, wiser, struggling-with-ennui captain. Does Kirk go to Pike for advice? Do they begin to feel more like equals as Kirk rises up the ranks? Maybe Pike stops thinking of Kirk as too young and starts thinking of himself as too old, and Kirk has to show that his respect for him has only grown. Maybe another meeting in a bar results in a mutual agreement to spend one night together. Maybe a new danger sends Admiral Pike back into space with Kirk, and one of them being injured or having a close call with death results in an admission of feelings?
Kirk somehow time travels back and meets a Pike that's his own age - or maybe a bit younger. They have to work together to prevent some alien plot and/or get Kirk back to his own time, and feelings develop between them. Does Kirk have to hide who he really is, and listen to an oblivious Pike talking about his dissertation? Or does he explain, and then have to deal with everything young Pike projects onto him? It's not clear exactly how old Pike is, so maybe the timeline means that Kirk actually arrives before USS Kelvin is destroyed - and maybe while he's in the past he ropes Pike into preventing it from happening?
Due to sex pollen/omega Kirk going into heat/being captured by aliens who demand they perform some kind of sex ritual, Pike and Kirk have to fuck. There's such a delicious tension between these two. It's not enmity, not even rivalry, and I don't see it as an incompatibility either - just friction between two very different people as they rub against each other, both traumatised but approaching life from opposite angles. Medicine vs security, charming vs sharp, the battlefield nurse vs the lost child - they're such a contrast, but if they could allow themselves a fraction of vulnerability and honesty, I think they could complement each other instead. And then that thrumming tension could just be a frisson of sexual attraction. But between Chapel's commitment issues and La'an's everything issues, I think they'd both resist opening up - and mutually pine for a while. While bantering.

Getting together and established relationship both welcome. I can also see them casually hooking up - no strings, maybe unspoken feelings, but mostly borderline hate sex as they deal with their frustration sexually. Maybe they'd progress from that to a romance? Or maybe a situation during an away mission, or shore leave, or daily life on the ship - even some fun trope stuff - would push them right into confessing their feelings. But that trust is born of shared trauma: the practical difficulties, psychological scars, and moral dilemmas of all they experienced during the war. The ghosts of that are clearly still alive in them, and maybe that's why they're so gentle with each other now. Chapel (possibly falsely) testified that M'Benga killed Dak'Rah in self defense, though she seemingly doesn't know that M'Benga was the Butcher of J'Gal - but she was there, in that darkest hour, and who could understand better? But they're survivors - even if the scars are there, they're also capable of packing those burdens away in the day to day, creating a space where impish Chapel and wry M'Benga can tease both each other and appropriate patients.

I'd prefer something set during their time on Enterprise, rather than the war - but flashbacks (even nightmares) are welcome, as long as there's no gore. Could be something fluffy during downtime or shore leave, an adventure or some hurt/comfort during an away mission, angst with them helping each other process their trauma, or them doing medical work - trying to patch people up or solve a medical mystery. I just think their strong bond and complex history are fascinating, and I'd love you to shine a light on any of those layers.

I love that Jack starts calling him Danny, and little moments like taking off his glasses - or holding Daniel as he cries. When Daniel ascends there's still such an intense bond between them - even living on different planes of existence can't keep them apart, or diminish their importance to each other.

Getting together or established relationship are both fine. Whether you want to pair them up before Daniel's ascension or after he returns, I don't mind. Maybe they pined for ages, but it wasn't until they were separated that they understood what they were feeling? Or had the confidence to take that step? Or maybe they carried on working together for a long time after that before getting together. Maybe they ignored it all until a dubcon scenario (sex pollen/omegaverse heat) pushed them to confront it. I thought the relationships between all three were so interesting, and I'd love to see Amaya and Magnifico fold Asha into their established marriage. Obviously there's a big age difference, so maybe they'd all be hesitant about the idea to begin with - but please either let some time elapse so Asha's 18, or make it an AU where she was 18 to begin with. But I loved Amaya's soft and supportive marriage to Magnifico, and how soft and supportive she was of Asha too. And Asha and Magnifico had such a connection during her interview (before it all went off the rails). How would they function as a three?

No irredeemably evil Magnifico for this ship, please - I'd like him to be a sympathetic antagonist (or even ally!) instead. Fluff, angst, hurt/comfort, adventures and smut all welcome.

Maybe Magnifico took Asha on as apprentice after all, and she had a slower realisation that something was wrong, leading to a deeper emotional connection with him (and Amaya) before it all started to go wrong. Maybe, if there was something already between all of them, Asha and Amaya managed to avert disaster in the first place. Or maybe they don't get together until afterwards? Or I'd love to see some fluff between king, queen and apprentice, with no hint of what's to come.

Maybe Magnifico does use the book, and becomes corrupted by green magic, but Amaya and Asha don't give up on him - instead they break its influence over him, rescuing him from its control. But a repentant Magnifico still has to live with what he did, and find his new place with them now that Amaya is queen and Asha is the one granting wishes. (Did he ever grant his own wish? What is it?)
Or maybe the green magic isn't the only kind of magic that has a negative effect. Maybe the weight of all those wishes, powered by an entire kingdom's deepest dreams, has actually been wearing Magnifico down all along? Like, not only does he promise that he'll protect the wishes at all costs, he sings that he's mesmerised by the hold they have over him. What if Amaya and/or Asha realised something was going on, and managed to save him from it, before he turned to darkness? Even if it meant him giving up (or heavily reducing) his use of wish magic.
I'd also love some smut for them. How do they deal with the mechanics of three people - do they burst into laughter when someone (nearly) falls out of bed? Is Asha a virgin? Maybe Amaya and Magnifico gently guide her through her first time. Or show me a scene where they're already comfortable with their knowledge of each other. However you want to arrange them - any combination of fingering, handjob, cunnilingus, cocksucking, vaginal... Does one of the women ever wear a strap-on to peg Magnifico? Or each other?

Amaya/Magnifico of Rosas

I loved the soft relationship these two had. Calm, confident, practical Amaya organising things to smooth Magnifico's work, but also gently steering and comforting him when he's tempted by darkness. Focused, arrogant, brilliant Magnifico dazzling his subjects, but revealing a softer and more vulnerable side when alone with his wife, happily taking her advice.

Despite his downfall, I do believe he really loved her, so I'd prefer them to be happily together at the end of the fic - even if things are complicated. I DNW breakups, so I don't want to see her abandon him because the book has turned him irreversibly evil. But Magnifico using the book and Amaya freeing him from its influence, resulting in an angsty situation with a penitent Magnifico, is totally fine. Also pre-canon angst or hurt/comfort, where their relationship is loving but the surrounding situation is more bittersweet. But I'd also love some fluff!

Amaya helping Magnifico relax when he gets overwhelmed by the stress of being king, of dealing with all these wishes. Could be early on, when they were both new to it, or much later, when it had become a long grind over years. Maybe a missing scene?
Magnifico uses the book, but the green magic doesn't corrupt him permanently. Maybe an AU, where Amaya (with Asha's help?) frees him from its clutches, and a penitent Magnifico has to live with the consequences of what he did - trying to repair his relationship with new queen Amaya as well as earn forgiveness from the citizens of Rosas. Maybe he even loses his magic because of it? Or he still gets trapped in the mirror, but Amaya doesn't give up on him, and eventually finds a way to free him and break the corruption's hold?
I'd love some fluffy smut for these two. What was their first time like? Did they wait until marriage, or sneak some time alone together before that? Or show me them making love years down the line, still passionate about each other, with a thorough knowledge of each other's likes. Maybe Magnifico is as attentive in studying Amaya's body as he was in studying magic, and thanks her for her tireless support with regular mindblowing orgasms?
They'd also be a really interesting couple for some dom/sub play, whichever way the roles are assigned. Maybe king Magnifico likes to continue his rule into the bedroom, taking charge of Amaya and her pleasure, pushing her to obey before making all her wishes come true. Or maybe he wants to relax by ceding control - and Amaya is happy to take charge, praising him for being a good boy who follows all her orders. I enjoyed this film, but it left me craving more of certain ideas. Mainly an apprentice Asha AU, Magnifico being softer - or Magnifico being even worse.

I kinda felt like they couldn't decide what Magnifico's motivation was. Like whether he was a purely evil villain powered by arrogance and a need for control, or whether he was a sympathetic antagonist crushed by the pressure of kingship and past trauma. I would love something that grabbed either idea with both hands and committed to it fully. Even if he's a misguided good guy that genuinely cares, feel free to make him arrogant and a bit manipulative - or to turn those traits to the max if he's evil.

Between Asha's interview and them duetting on what was basically a love song, I both shipped these two and really wanted to see them as mentor/apprentice. I love Asha's determination, her compassion, her righteousness, and her quirky goofiness - but if your work suits her being more serious, that's fine. Apprentice AU, canon plotline, or other canon divergence are all welcome.

Please either make this an AU where Asha is already 18, or have a time skip so she's an adult. And please either give Magnifico and Amaya an open relationship, or make it an AU where they were never a couple... Unless you're going with fully evil, corrupted by green magic Magnifico, in which case I'm fine with him cheating on Amaya and/or nonconning Asha. Otherwise, dubcon or consensual, please.

(If Magnifico's a sympathetic figure who turns to darkness, please leave the door open for redemption. But fully evil Magnifico doesn't need redemption - in fact, I'm fine with a Villain Wins AU.)

Or is this just a manipulation tactic from a secretly evil Magnifico, who's taken an unhealthy interest in Asha?
What about a Villain Wins AU? Similar to the climax with them both on top of the tower, Magnifico uses those green magic hands to throw Asha around/pin her down/cause her pain. Or maybe he imprisons her in the dungeon, visiting her to gloat. Maybe the menace even blurs into sexual tension as he leans in close...
Another apprentice AU idea: a magical mishap results in them being doused with cuddle pollen or kissing pollen. Magnifico is gently apologetic as he guides Asha through the intimate cure, crossing lines they've never crossed before. (If this is evil Magnifico, maybe he's manipulating her into agreeing to more than she's comfortable with - or maybe the mishap wasn't an accident, and he dosed them on purpose.)
Or maybe a spell goes wrong - whether it's an apprentice AU, Magnifico's magic interacting with Star's wand, or due to the green magic - and Asha (or both of them) gets doused in sex pollen instead. Does Magnifico have to gently guide his desperate apprentice through losing her virginity? Is this a frantic fuck between enemies?
