I love the found family they have at Skeldale House, especially once they all start looking after baby Jimmy. The way that they support and care for each other, in practical and emotional ways, even if they also frustrate or drop each other into shenanigans - I just have so many feelings about this group. Even during wartime, there's such a cosy mood to the place, a sense that they'll weather everything together, and it'll all turn out okay in the end. (If you want to include some vet work, animal illness and peril is obviously fine, but please no big disasters of the "and then this farmer's entire herd dropped dead" kind.)

You don't need to feature them all equally, I'm fine with the focus being on one or two of them, but I would like them all to at least be passing through. If you want to bring Richard Carmody in as well, you definitely can. Or the dogs! Background James/Helen or Siegfried/Audrey Hall or even Tristan/Carmody are welcome. Just all the found family feels here please, whether cute or silly, or even with an edge of angst or hurt/comfort in the way the show sometimes has.

Fluffy daily slice of life, chatting at the breakfast table, or while settling in the living room as a cosy evening closes in.
This week's Obstacle has popped up, and they team up to sort it - maybe Helen helping Mrs H with something domestic, or Tristan sweeping in to save James from a frantic morning surgery, or Mrs H prodding Siegfried towards writing a letter.
Another veterinary case comes in and it's a real headscratcher. Everyone offers their opinion - not necessarily on the case, or anything useful.
Siegfried is Siegfrieding again, and must be gently cajoled into a tender moment.
They decide to pass the time by playing a board game. Who cheats? How raucous does it get? Does Jimmy do anything besides giggling and trying to chew the rulebook?

Kelly Fowler/Alicia Nevins

These two have such a complicated, interesting relationship. I love the tension of them being enemies: murderous, untrustworthy Kelly encroaching on clever, innocent Alicia. Obviously in canon that's driven by their competition over Angus - but I'd rather the focus here was on Kelly having a personal interest in/attraction to Alicia. (Feel free to ignore the Angus ships altogether, but I'm also fine with that still being a background influence.) This could involve complicated feelings, a dubcon scenario, or Kelly outright nonconning Alicia.

But I also love Kelly's redemption arc, and how sweet these two become because of it! Angsty, repentant Kelly and brilliant, earnest Alicia are such a great combo. I love how intensely protective of each other they become - and how they almost seem surprised by themselves, even as they just keep putting themselves in danger for each other's sake. There's a fierce bond there, and neither seems to know where it comes from. Conclusion: sapphic reasons. So I'd love to see them as a couple, whether getting together or established relationship, whether the vibe is angsty or smutty or hurt/comfort or pure fluff.

Narrative Prompts

Another situation where Alicia is threatened and Kelly risks activating her implants to protect her - then collapses and needs to be tenderly protected herself.
Or a scene where Kelly herself is the threat, the tension rising as she encroaches on Alicia. But her murmurings about violence or plot things end with her stealing a kiss.
A quieter, fluffier moment in the mess hall, enjoying chatting together - or holding hands under the table.
Exploring another planet together. Is it full of wonder, or danger? Do they get to witness a beautiful sunset - or have to huddle for warmth as cold weather blows in?
In a moment of adrenaline, they end up sharing their first kiss. Maybe Alicia's eager and awkward, or nervous but earnest. Maybe more experienced Kelly is calm but tender, or maybe she's overwhelmed by her first kiss with someone she really cares for.
Sex pollen strikes, whether it's something on a planet or on the ship or it's just Randomly Horny Day. Is this a tender encounter between two pining women, or an intense experience between enemies?

I love the interactions between all three sides of this triangle. Angus and Alicia are such adorably awkward nerds together. Kelly went from a psycho creep fixated on Angus to saving him with her blood. And she went from threatening Alicia to protecting her - and Alicia trying to protect her in turn. Maybe Angus and Alicia could invite Kelly to join their relationship? But I'm also interested in AUs where the three of them get together in another way!

Narrative Prompts

Whether Kelly stays on Ark 1 or Trappist 1-D, she ends up growing closer to Alicia or Angus... leading to confusing feelings all round.
Instead of Trappist 1-D, they find a different habitable planet - but it's the middle of winter, and dramatic happenings mean they have to huddle for warmth.
Or maybe it takes them longer to reach a habitable planet, resulting in more adventures in space. Which of course provides more opportunities for danger, protective feelings, injury, and/or tropey scifi shenanigans.
Kelly overuses her implants to protect the other two, and then they look after her.
While exploring a strange planet, they all get hit by sex pollen - and Alicia and Angus realise that leaving Kelly to suffer alone would put her in danger.
Angus got some sex tips from Brice. Maybe Alicia goes to Kelly for advice - and that turns into Kelly joining them for some hands-on sex lessons.
Or maybe they all confess their feelings, leading to the first time for the three of them, whether it's a fluffy night full of laughter, or slightly awkward with a tinge of angst.

Fifteenth Doctor/Rogue

The Doctor is so old but so young, weighed down by centuries but full of hope and joy. Rogue has (presumably) lived only one lifetime - but it's already left him with so much pain. I love the contrast between them - fun and compassionate vs reserved and intense - and really want their flirtation to resume. Would love to see some hurt/comfort or vulnerable intimacy after they reunite. How many new scars have they gained?

I'm happy for your work to feature a reunion, or for you to skip straight to an established relationship - or maybe an AU where they were never separated at all.

They get captured by baddies, and one of them has to watch as the other one is tortured with a strange bit of tech that causes intense pain without any wounds. And lots of comfort once they escape.
When do they have their first time? Do they jump into bed almost the minute they're back together? Does it take a little while, both of them dancing around each other? Is it an urgent and intense fuck, or a slow and tender coupling?
Rogue looks human, but he isn't. He's basically a space omega - and after all that time in the void dimension, he's going into heat. And it's a big one. The Doctor has to soothe him through it, with his Time Lord scent and/or his cock.

Maddy/Owen

I loved the awkward, tender, intimate relationship these two developed. They're both outsiders, both struggling with their families and their queer identities, and in the liminal space of late night TV they found a place where they could reveal their secrets and see themselves/each other in ways nobody else could. Despite the horror of the outside world, they found a softness and a hope together, even if it didn't last.

I'm interested in both "they really are Tara and Isabel, trapped in the Midnight Realm" and "the Pink Opaque isn't real; all of the strange happenings are caused by the mental strain of suppressing their queer identities" interpretations. I'd love a missing scene when they were teenagers, or canon divergence where Owen chooses to "wake up" (in whatever sense), and I'm fine with you fucking with the timeline or using unreliable narration even if it's a fluffier work. (Especially to make Owen an adult before Maddy leaves, as I DNW underage sex.)

As Maddy is a lesbian, I'd prefer Owen to be transfem, genderqueer or nonbinary - but it's fine if that's implied or ambiguous. (Also fine for it to be an ambiguous relationship or pre-relationship.) She/her or they/them is fine, even pre-transition. He/him also fine before Owen realises/accepts, or for that realisation/acceptance not to happen before the end of the work. If Owen changes names, Isabel is an obvious choice, but other names beginning with O are welcome, eg Olivia, Oluremi, Opal, Ophelia...

Narrative Prompts

One night, in between watching The Pink Opaque and dressing Owen up in Maddy's clothes, the two of them share a kiss.
They get into writing Tara/Isabel fanfiction - and progress from sharing it to acting it out together.
Canon divergence where Owen lets Maddy bury her - and wakes up as Isabel.
Or maybe none of the stuff about being Isabel and Tara is true. But Maddy comes back one more time, and Owen finally admits she's trans. And now that her old friend is a woman, maybe Maddy has a reason to stay - or to take Owen with her.
Or maybe Maddy never left. They struggle with their identities together, but with each other's support they find a little peace - and maybe decide to leave town later, when the time is right, to start new lives as a couple in a friendlier place.

Galadriel/Sauron

There's so much tension between them - so much hope, so much betrayal. I love all of the possibilities here. Galadriel is strong but conflicted, determined to the point of being unhealthy, focused on making a better world but walking a knife-edge of temptation. Sauron is a sweet manipulator, whispering honey as he reaches for a blade - but he really seems to believe that what he wants is best for the world. If Galadriel ever did (or had) accepted Sauron's proposal and joined him as his queen, could she temper his worst impulses and bring peace to Middle-Earth, edging his tyranny towards benevolence - or would his slow corruption darken her soul a little?

But maybe they can only ever be enemies - even if they're also something else, or desire to be. Will they only ever fuck each other up, emotionally or physically? Would his past and future betrayals carve new hollows in her heart? Would her continued refusals sting his ego? Would they do battle again, tension rising, their clash of swords slipping to an intense kiss - or to Sauron stabbing Galadriel again? Or would Sauron gain the upper hand, through violence or trickery, and gleefully noncon a trapped Galadriel?

Getting together or established whatever; consensual, dubcon, or noncon; as Halbrand or Annatar or another future form; lovers dragging each other towards a grey morality, or enemies tearing at each other's souls... These two are locked on a collision course, tied by destiny, and I want anything and everything that they could be.

Narrative Prompts

Galadriel accepted Halbrand's proposition, and became his queen - maybe believing that her gentle influence could tip his reign towards something controlling but protective.
Or maybe she allowed herself an encounter with Halbrand - never discovering his true self. Or, at least, not that night.
Or she was wrong about the elven rings being free of his influence, and began to hear his whispers - and see him in her dreams.
Sauron catches Galadriel, and encroaches on her in the prison cell - gently brushing his fingers over her as he whispers of all the terrible, wonderful things he could do to her...
They meet again on the battlefield, trading blows and words, until one of them is backed against a wall - or their mouths are pressed together.
Galadriel gives in to her passion, maybe believing that her ring with protect her from corruption, or that he cannot harm her if she guards her heart against his darkness. But is it his tenderness she should truly fear?
Sauron corners Galadriel, taunts her, and then takes what he wants from her body - no matter her protests.

Elanor "Nori" Brandyfoot & The Stranger

I love the platonic relationship between these two. Curious, adventurous Nori who can't help rescuing this dangerous stranger. Innocent, earnest, baffled Gandalf trying to discover himself, blundering through her tiny world, leaving destruction and wonder in his wake. He looks old but he's effectively a newborn; she's young and still growing into herself too, but ends up directing and protecting him. And he protects her too - or tries to, and instead usually causes some magical mishap, struggling to control his powers. I love them growing together, learning together, being gentle with each other, and the hurt/comfort potential of Gandalf's wild magic. Feel free to include Poppy as well, she adds a fun twist to their dynamic!

Travelling to a new place, they come across a tree bearing some fruit Nori (or Poppy) remembers from old Harfoot stories - but is eating it quite as good an experience as the legends suggest?
It's a cold night in the desert, or on a mountain, or anywhere - and little Nori has to cuddle into big Gandalf's side so they can both keep warm.
Now that Gandalf has his staff, he begins to practise little magics - delighting Nori with dancing sparks.
Another danger threatens them, and Gandalf protects Nori with his magic - but does it go wrong this time?
They get separated, and when Gandalf finds Nori again, she's injured. He gently helps her drink some water, or carries her to safety, or uses his magic to heal her.
Or maybe Nori finds an injured Gandalf, and has to do what she can - reassuring and protecting him, or keeping him safe until he regains consciousness.
