Thank you for creating something for me! I love both the hurt and comfort parts of the equation, so feel free to go heavy on one part and less on the other, or have an equal mix of both. I loved the mindfuckery aspects of this film, and Frank was so compellingly creepy that I both wanted to run away and couldn't take my eyes off him. Their intellectual rivalry and mind games, with Frank daring Alice to work out what's really going on, sparked such good chemistry between them, and I'd love to see more in that vein. Just Alice being clever, determined, totally out of her depth, and reluctantly drawn to Frank - who speaks softly, touches her gently, lingers with an intensity, even if the threat never quite subsides.

I'm fine with a missing scene, including unresolved sexual tension for this, or with a canon divergence AU (Frank lives and Alice gets caught; Shelley escapes instead of Alice; Alice goes for a final showdown with Frank; etc). If you want to do smut, I'm happy for it to be anywhere from noncon to dubcon to fully consensual (if maybe conflicted and/or filled with shame).

Considering the nature of the relationships in this canon, I have no problem with either Alice or Frank "cheating" on their partners. Also happy for Alice/Jack and Frank/Shelley to be happening in the background. Jack can be alive or dead (or you can kill him off again, if you're doing an AU) but if Shelley exists I want her to survive. (Maybe Shelley escapes instead, and Frank decides to claim Alice in her place?)

Comforted by the person who hurt them Maybe the aftermath of Alice's dinner party goes worse, maybe Alice tries to escape but Frank catches her, maybe she goes for a final showdown with him and comes off worse... but Frank's hurt her, and now that she's vulnerable and he's back in control, he switches back to his calm, gentle manner and takes care of Alice. Is she grateful, conflicted, horrified, all of the above?
Comforting character while/after they vomit Could be due to morning sickness, a hangover, illness, a glitch in Victory, or some kind of poison; could be induced by nausea, an emetic, or by fingers (Alice's or Frank's). Doric/Xenk Yendar

We don't really get any focused moments between these two in the film, but Doric actually seems like the least hostile to Xenk from the beginning - ironic considering her stance on humans started as "hateful and selfish" and "just can't help but lie"... but then Xenk and his ridiculous paladin goodness are so obviously the opposite of that! If Xenk joined the party for further adventures, I like to imagine they'd become good friends, and then fall in love (maybe after mutually pining).

I love Doric's combination of a sharp tongue with her moral integrity and intense environmental concern, and how that contrasts and blends with Xenk's stern intensity, his awkward ways, and his own intense sense of justice and goodness. They're both visibly outsiders in ways the others aren't, so maybe they would have a natural understanding - or they'd bond over the angst of losing their families because of it.

(Please don't mention Simon and Doric breaking up. I'd rather you give them an open relationship, make it an AU where they were never into each other, or just ignore that ship altogether.)

Maybe Xenk submits to protect someone else, maybe they just want to hurt him, but some baddies subject him to this. Maybe Doric has to watch, or maybe she just comforts him in the aftermath. But Xenk has to endure the torture, and the "only" damage he's left with is psychological.

Edgin Darvis/Doric

While trying to recruit her, Edgin was definitely using all his charm (although not in a sexual way) but Doric seemed utterly immune to it. I loved the tender moment when Edgin was sitting on the rock on the beach: his little smile as she walked over, the way she gently patted his shoulder and he patted hers in return, and she smiled back. Maybe his charm would be more welcome now they have a genuine connection, or maybe she'd be the one to instigate it.

I love that Doric is so committed to doing good and looking after nature, but that she doesn't let the rules stand in her way. And she has a very sharp tongue, in contrast to Edgin's silver one. Edgin thinks of himself as a thief and a lawbreaker, and is maybe trying to pretend he doesn't enjoy doing good as much as he actually does. He uses humour and a charming mask to hide his pain, but Doric absolutely doesn't fall for it - even if she'll be soft when he finally lets himself be vulnerable. But is she prepared to be vulnerable in return?

I have so many feelings about these two. I love their banter and how they spark off each other, how Edgin sees Xenk as an enemy but then grows to respect him and doesn't want him to leave, how Xenk is frustrated with Edgin's criminal tendencies but fully believes in his goodness and is determined to draw it out... Making Edgin swear on the Harper's seal, then tenderly touching his hand? In fact, all of the hand-holding, and the offers of hand-holding. I'd love to see how their relationship develops after the film, with a softer friendship blossoming into romance. (And more touching. Lots of touching. And banter.)

These two are so good for mutual pining. Maybe Xenk thinks he can't be with anyone because of his duty as a paladin, or because the Beckoning Death has left him cursed, partially undead, lacking part of his soul, etc. Maybe Edgin finds out Xenk is a virgin and assumes the guy isn't interested in sex at all. (I do headcanon Xenk as a virgin.) Or Edgin thinks Xenk's too noble and pure to want a criminal like him, or thinks Xenk wants someone more serious or more intellectual. Xenk thinking Edgin's too charming and sociable to want someone as awkward and unbending as him... I love the angsty possibilities of all this, the two of them keeping their feelings secret even as they're practically bursting with longing. Especially as both of them are so touchy-feely! They must be torturing each other.

I love how Edgin is absolutely convinced of Simon's potential badassery (he has a mental list of all the times Simon's magic worked!) and how he's determined to make Simon believe it too - and this, for some reason, involves touching Simon's face a lot. Simon is awkward and sulky in the face of this, even though he's perfectly willing to trust Edgin and follow his lead in other areas - maybe Simon is pining, and can't let himself believe that Edgin cares about him, or is worried about opening his heart? If they did get together, would Edgin's charm and confidence continue, or would he be more earnest and vulnerable?

In the film, Simon mostly seems to get on Xenk's nerves (being sarcastic! destroying the bridge!) but he's not doing it on purpose and I really think if they spent more time together they could become good friends - and then more. Despite his initial jealousy, Simon is eager for Xenk to stay at the end. But maybe Simon worries that Xenk doesn't like him, or doesn't respect him? And Xenk isn't great at social interaction, so he might not realise Simon feels that way, or might not know how to explain that he actually does care. Potentially some angst there, but I'd also love some fluff. Under his sarcasm, his awkwardness, and his occasional sulkiness, Simon is rather sweet and kinda adorable. And once you see past his stern manner and paladin morals, Xenk is kind and actually sorta awkward too. I like the idea that they're both a bit dorky, deeply interested in niche subjects, in a way none of the others understand. But I think they could find some common ground.

This is such a great example of enemies to lovers. I love that they're kind and flirty at their first meeting, because they're immediately attracted to each other, and that even once they're enemies they can't hide that sexual tension. But their enmity is based on both seeking something only one of them can have rather than ideological differences: Nicholas seems more motivated by whether Mia's going to be a good queen and whether she really knows Genovia (and by his uncle's influence), and not a personal hunger for power. So once he's convinced of her capability (and she of his sincerity) and he gives up his claim to the crown, there's no question about whether they'd be able to find common ground.

I love both the push-and-pull of Nicholas flirting and Mia trying to resist (in the closet, by the fountain, the deleted scene in the kitchen) as well as them being soft and friendly with each other: Nicholas supporting Mia by helping with her archery, and the night they spend together before her wedding where we see them opening up emotionally, dancing close, and falling asleep in each other's arms. So I'd love a post-canon continuation of that as their relationship develops, or is fully established, with one of them gently looking after the other.

Chekov is so fucking adorable. I love his earnest enthusiasm, his innocence, and his extreme competency despite his age - and how that fits with Kirk, who's older, more traumatised, and chafes against the rules, but strives to protect his crew. They work so well together, and I really enjoyed how much of Beyond was just the two of them out in the wilds, with a slightly more mature Chekov showing he can handle himself in the field.

I would love to see Chekov trying to look after Kirk, whether as part of an established relationship or with them mutually pining before they get together. Is Chekov nervous but determined, or sweet and practical as he steps up to the plate? Is Kirk stoic and trying to protect Chekov from seeing him crumble, or is he comfortable enough to be vulnerable - or in so much pain he just can't hide it?

I love that Pike was the first one to believe in Kirk - and the one who got Kirk to believe in himself. He finds this young guy losing a bar fight and tells him he can do more, be better, live up to not only his potential but his father's legacy. And Kirk hears that challenge and says no, I'll do even better than that.

But there's a tension between them: Pike encourages Kirk's out-of-the-box thinking and urge for heroics, but also expects him to follow the rules (or at least know which rules to break and when). Kirk wants that approval, wants to excel, but he's used to rebellion and reckless behaviour and is willing to risk more than other people are comfortable with. There's this push and pull where they're trying to find where the line should fall, and maybe that could play into how they are as a couple: not quite sure if their relationship is appropriate or it's going too far, if it's going to make Kirk a better man or screw him up more.

As a captain, Pike seems kind and steady but also willing to make unconventional choices, and he gives Kirk a chance to speak even when he's just stowed away on his ship. Kirk respects him and wants his respect in return but also chafes against the hierarchy of Starfleet. I'd love to see their relationship blossom into more, with Pike being encouraging but maybe also conflicted, and Kirk finding a sense of safety even as he's unsettled by commitment. Or maybe they're mutually pining before they get together.

Not looking for daddy kink here but Kirk's daddy issues are welcome. He obviously has some trauma with regards to his father (and presumably his abusive stepfather) and that's part of why he is the way he is. But with everything that happens in space, he could also have some trauma due to the terrible things he's seen, maybe even PTSD, and that could play into the hurt/comfort.

I love that Scotty is almost immediately loyal to Kirk, and that Kirk absolutely relies on him to get things done - even when Scotty's already resigned. I love that Spock is this reserved, logical, controlled figure - but secretly has all this emotion bubbling just beneath the surface. He pairs so well with charming, rebellious, almost reckless Kirk, who struggles to understand and predict Spock despite having such a mind for strategy. There's respect there even when they disagree - or outright argue - and I love the push and pull of Spock advising Kirk, with Spock wanting the best for him and valiantly trying to steer the unsteerable, while Kirk both values his opinion yet constantly grates against it. They balance each other, yet there's such friction.

Torture - Magic/psychic/scifi torture that causes extreme pain but no physical injury I'm not good with gore, but I love seeing my poor blorbos in extreme pain, so this scenario is perfect for me. Maybe Kirk submits to protect someone else, maybe they just want to hurt him, but some baddies subject him to this. Maybe Spock has to watch, or maybe he just comforts him in the aftermath. But Kirk has to endure the torture, and the "only" damage he's left with is psychological.
Waking up from nightmares while sharing a bed Could be about his father, or something he's experienced while exploring space, but Kirk has a nightmare. Maybe they're sharing a bed as an established couple, maybe it's an Only One Bed scenario, or maybe they're locked in a cell together - but Kirk wakes up, Spock realises something's wrong, and he gently calms him down and comforts him, with soft words and/or cuddles and/or stroking his back.

Amaya/Magnifico of Rosas

I loved the soft relationship these two had. Calm, confident, practical Amaya organising things to smooth Magnifico's work, but also gently steering and comforting him when he's tempted by darkness. Focused, arrogant, brilliant Magnifico dazzling his subjects, but revealing a softer and more vulnerable side when alone with his wife, happily taking her advice.

Despite his downfall, I do believe he really loved her, so I want them to stay together, and happily so - even if things are complicated. I DNW breakups or Magnifico being fully evil/unredeemed, so I don't want to see her abandon him because the book has turned him irreversibly evil. But Magnifico using the book and Amaya freeing him from its influence, resulting in an angsty situation with a penitent Magnifico, is totally fine. But I'd also love something pre-canon or a missing scene, with Amaya gently comforting her beloved husband.

Prompts for Hurt Magnifico:
Childhood Trauma The film gave Magnifico a traumatic backstory and then never really acknowledged its impact on his behaviour. I'd love to see Magnifico opening up to his wife about it, as part of a general heart to heart, or after a nightmare - or as he starts to go off the rails, or after he's redeemed, with Amaya trying to understand/Magnifico trying to explain why he protects and controls in the way he does.
Comforting character who feels extremely guilty over past misdeeds I'd love a canon divergence where Amaya either convinces Magnifico to abandon his villain spiral as it's in progress, or rescues him from the green magic's influence at the end, and then she kindly comforts a remorseful Magnifico as he wrestles with all the bad things he did. He could remain king, or she could still become queen, and he has to deal with the loss of his status too.
Magical Exhaustion Maybe he uses too much magic trying to protect Rosas and gets sick. Maybe he gets infected by a magical illness. Maybe looking after that many wishes is actually slowly wearing him down. But Magnifico is struck by some magic-based exhaustion, and Amaya has to look after him.

Asha/Magnifico of Rosas

I enjoyed this film, but it left me craving more of certain ideas. Mainly an apprentice Asha AU, Magnifico being softer - or Magnifico being even worse.

I kinda felt like they couldn't decide what Magnifico's motivation was. Like whether he was a purely evil villain powered by arrogance and a need for control, or whether he was a sympathetic antagonist crushed by the pressure of kingship and past trauma. I would love something that grabbed either idea with both hands and committed to it fully. Even if he's a misguided good guy that genuinely cares, feel free to make him arrogant and a bit manipulative - or to turn those traits to the max if he's evil.

Between Asha's interview and them duetting on what was basically a love song, I both shipped these two and really wanted to see them as mentor/apprentice. I love Asha's determination, her compassion, her righteousness, and her quirky goofiness - but if your work suits her being more serious, that's fine. Apprentice AU, canon plotline, or other canon divergence are all welcome.

Please either make this an AU where Asha is already 18, or have a time skip so she's an adult. And please either give Magnifico and Amaya an open relationship, or make it an AU where they were never a couple... Unless you're going with fully evil Magnifico, in which case I'm fine with him cheating on Amaya and/or nonconning Asha. Otherwise, dubcon or consensual, please.

(If Magnifico's a sympathetic figure who turns to darkness, please leave the door open for redemption. But fully evil Magnifico doesn't need redemption - in fact, I'm fine with a Villain Wins AU.)

A/B/O - Alpha A gives only non-sexual comfort (cuddles/scenting/etc) during omega B's heat Asha could be Magnifico's apprentice or his captive or simply his subject, but she goes into heat. Maybe she's a virgin/not ready for sex/afraid of him. Maybe he doesn't want to take advantage, or doesn't want to cheat on Amaya. Yes, they could cure the pain of the heat with sex, but they're not going to, so Magnifico will give maximum comfort without crossing that boundary - cuddling Asha close, letting her smell his calming alpha scent, murmuring gently, maybe curling a hand over the nape of Asha's neck to trigger an omega calming instinct. I just love the self-restraint combined with the unusual intimacy of this scenario. (Totally fine if they fuck after the heat is over!)
Catching Hurt Character as They Collapse I just love this trope: the intimacy and vulnerability for the one being caught, the attentiveness and protectiveness on the part of the catcher, and the tenderness and mild forced proximity of it all. Maybe it's a sweet moment between Asha and a redeemed Magnifico, or between apprentice Asha and her mentor... or a twisted inversion, with captive Asha ending up in her enemy's unexpectedly tender arms.

They're both trying to ignore how intimate that is, but it's difficult to ignore - especially once the wound is gone and Magnifico is left touching a partly naked Asha.
Magical Mishap Causes Mild Injury Could be an apprentice AU, or a missing scene or something pre-canon where sorcerer king Magnifico has to look after his awed subject, but even though it's not serious Asha's still in a bit of pain. Maybe Magnifico can use his magic to heal her? Or maybe he just tries to comfort her, dropping his charm for a little softness, like when they were talking about her father.
Teacher/mentor uses healing magic on student/mentee I already mentioned an apprentice AU, but apprentice AU. Maybe it's the magical mishap listed above, maybe Asha falls and hurts herself, maybe it's something else - but a caring (and possibly slightly teasing) Magnifico has to gently lay hands on his apprentice to heal her.
