Fealty Flash 2025
Fealty and loyalty, man. I'd deluded myself into thinking I was very normal about this, but a load of monarchs, nobles, paladins and Starfleet officers just fell out my arms so I guess fucking not, lmao. Thank you for anything you create! Treats are welcome. My username is

Jayce Talis/Viktor
I was shipping these guys right from episode two. I love them as lab partners, and all the tropes that entails: late nights working closely together, deep intellectual discussion, witnessing each other's brilliance up close, the little moments of the daily routine, the mundane and the magical mixed together. Their work (and Jayce) is lauded by the public - but the reality of its creation is a more private experience. In some ways there's a quiet intimacy to it all.
But I also love the more transcendent aspects - they're bound together by destiny, the two of them so narratively entwined. "In all timelines, in all possibilities... Only you can show me this." They're inevitable, they're parallels, they're each other's salvation. And in the end it all comes down to Jayce's earnest wish to be with Viktor again, as partners.
I'm less interested in things set during their "divorce era" but you're free to reference it as much as you like. Fluff, smut, angsty mutual pining, or hurt/comfort are all welcome. I love Jayce taking care of Viktor - but maybe Jayce needs wrapping in a blanket himself sometimes.
Medieval-era fantasy AU with knights and royalty This is my entire request: Arcane, but high fantasy. They're partners, they're destined, so how does that loyalty shake out in a more medieval themed world? Maybe instead of a councillor, Jayce is made a knight or a duke, and now Viktor is technically his vassal. What impact does that power imbalance have on their relationship? Or maybe, as a member of the minor House Talis, Jayce has always been set above Viktor. Maybe oblivious Jayce thinks his respect for Viktor means they're equals, that there's no need for ceremony between them, even as Viktor can't help but see their differences - even as he clings to the man. Maybe their fated nature comes into play because this world has prophecies, so they know they're bound together before events start trying to pull them apart. Does that give them a sense of loyalty? Maybe they think that loyalty means they can overcome a prophesied enmity. (Maybe it does.) Maybe the magic in this world is different, and with no hexcore Jayce vows to find another way to heal Viktor. There are so many ways you could explore the fealty trope with these two in an AU like this.
Paul Atreides/Duncan Idaho
I was sold on these two from that very first hug. Their power dynamic is complicated and intriguing: Duncan is older, stronger, a more skilled warrior, and Paul's combat tutor - but Paul is the heir to House Atreides and capable of using the Voice. And there seems such genuine affection between them. I love how Duncan teases Paul, but also calls him "my boy"... And this exchange: "Can I trust you with something?" "Always. You know that." Omfg. I am all about the trust, loyalty and duty here - on both sides.
I'm mainly looking for something set just before canon, or maybe early in the first film, once Duncan returns from the Fremen - before everything goes to shit on Arrakis. Or maybe everything does go to shit, and Paul becomes Duke, but things work out better for Duncan. DNW underage, but Paul's age is ambiguous, so I will happily assume he's over 18 at this point.
"I would die for you." "Live for me instead." Sobbing over Duncan's sacrifice... An AU where he survives? Please?
Follower is Submissive to Leader in Bed Maybe this is a safe way for Paul to explore being in charge. Maybe it's because Duncan just finds it really, really hot - and Paul discovers he does too.
Kneeling as Show of Fealty Like, this is canon. Duncan literally drops to his knees, clutches Paul's hand, and calls him "my lord Duke". So I just want all the kneeling, any context, any time, sexy or tender, public or private.
Leader is submissive to Follower in bed Paul is the heir, but he's also Duncan's student, and probably less experienced (maybe even a virgin) - I can see him trusting Duncan to steer their encounter, taking pleasure in surrendering his pleasure to someone who might tease him but always places his best interests first.
Medieval-era fantasy AU with knights and royalty I just think it'd be cool. Their dynamic would translate so easily. And think of the aesthetic! Duncan in a suit of armour, all sweaty, hair flowing free as he takes off his helmet... Paul as the heir, on a smaller throne beside his father, or taking the throne once Leto is assassinated... Duncan kneeling as Paul knights him with a sword... All of it, any of it.
Mutual Devotion They already have this vibe, so I'd love for you to dig into it. Duncan as the loyal warrior, as eager to tease Paul as he is to protect him; Paul simmering with respect and affection, so aware of the power he holds over Duncan even when Duncan has the advantage. There's a balance in their imbalance and I love it.
Possessive But Tender Sex Whenever in the timeline it happens, I'd love to see these two expressing their loyalty and affection through some slow, urgent, gasping sex.
Doric/Xenk Yendar
We don't really get any focused moments between these two in the film, but Doric actually seems like the least hostile to Xenk from the beginning - ironic considering her stance on humans started as "hateful and selfish" and "just can't help but lie"... but then Xenk and his ridiculous paladin goodness are so obviously the opposite of that! If Xenk joined the party for further adventures, I like to imagine they'd become good friends, and then fall in love.
(Please don't mention Simon and Doric breaking up. I'd rather you give them an open relationship, make it an AU where they were never into each other, or just ignore that ship altogether.)
Kneeling as Show of Fealty Paladins are so much about fealty. Xenk's vows are literally what give him his power. And an Oath of Devotion paladin swears a vow of duty: "Follow justly those to whom you serve, ensure ownership of all your deeds, and guard with your life those you are sworn to watch over." If Xenk falls in with the party longterm, he might easily see himself as either their follower or their protector. I'd love to see him choosing to kneel, as an earnest gesture that's deeply symbolic to him - even if Doric is softly amused. And maybe slightly aroused.
Only Loophole for Vow of Chastity is Marriage Vows (And Swearing Fealty to New Spouse) Maybe Xenk's been pining, thinking his duty means he must always be alone - and then he (or Doric) discover there's a loophole. It's a vow of chastity, not celibacy. If he swears himself to Doric, makes her part of his paladin vows, then his commitment will bolster his oath, not break it. And mean he can finally get some hot sex.
Edgin Darvis/Xenk Yendar
I have so many feelings about these two. I love their banter and how they spark off each other, how Edgin sees Xenk as an enemy but then grows to respect him and doesn't want him to leave, how Xenk is frustrated with Edgin's criminal tendencies but fully believes in his goodness and is determined to draw it out... Making Edgin swear on the Harper's seal, then tenderly touching his hand? In fact, all of the hand-holding, and the offers of hand-holding. I'd love to see how their relationship develops after the film, with a softer friendship blossoming into romance. (And more touching. Lots of touching. And banter.)
These two are so good for mutual pining. Maybe Xenk thinks he can't be with anyone because of his duty as a paladin, or because the Beckoning Death has left him cursed, partially undead, lacking part of his soul, etc. Maybe Edgin finds out Xenk is a virgin and assumes the guy isn't interested in sex at all. (I do headcanon Xenk as a virgin.) Or Edgin thinks Xenk's too noble and pure to want a criminal like him, or thinks Xenk wants someone more serious or more intellectual. Xenk thinking Edgin's too charming and sociable to want someone as awkward and unbending as him... I love the angsty possibilities of all this, the two of them keeping their feelings secret even as they're practically bursting with longing. Especially as both of them are so touchy-feely! They must be torturing each other.
I'd love to see him choosing to kneel, as an earnest gesture that's deeply symbolic to him - even if Edgin is amused and wrongfooted by it. And maybe slightly aroused.

Edgin Darvis/Zia Darvis/Xenk Yendar
I really like the idea of Edgin getting to be happy with Zia but also with Xenk, and Zia and Xenk being happy together too. So... AU where she never dies? Maybe Edgin stays a Harper and ends up working with Xenk, and they get closer, resulting in Xenk being drawn into the established marriage?
Edgin seemed a lot softer before Zia's death - and maybe less prone to hiding his feelings - and Zia seemed very sweet and understanding, and I'd love to see what kind of dynamic they develop with kind but serious Xenk. Would love to see them being domestic in the cottage at Targos, all helping to raise Kira, or - as Edgin and Holga managed to take young Kira on the road - maybe all three of them could have glorious adventures together, making the world a better place?

I'd love to see him choosing to kneel, as an earnest gesture that's deeply symbolic to him - even if Edgin is awkwardly amused, and Zia gently so. And maybe slightly aroused.
Only Loophole for Vow of Chastity is Marriage Vows (And Swearing Fealty to New Spouse) Maybe Xenk's been pining, thinking his duty means he must always be alone - and then he (or Edgin, even Zia) discover there's a loophole. It's a vow of chastity, not celibacy. If he swears himself to them, makes them part of his paladin vows, then his commitment will bolster his oath, not break it. And mean he can finally get some hot sex.
Simon Aumar/Xenk Yendar
In the film, Simon mostly seems to get on Xenk's nerves (being sarcastic! destroying the bridge!) but he's not doing it on purpose and I really think if they spent more time together they could become good friends - and then more. Despite his initial jealousy, Simon is eager for Xenk to stay at the end. But maybe Simon worries that Xenk doesn't like him, or doesn't respect him? And Xenk isn't great at social interaction, so he might not realise Simon feels that way, or might not know how to explain that he actually does care. Potentially some angst there, but I'd also love some fluff.
I imagine this as a hesitant relationship ("let's see where this goes"), maybe something that happens due to outside circumstances (e.g. accidental soulbond), or perhaps a one-time deal during a dubcon scenario that they end up enjoying but don't intend to repeat. Would love to see them being soft towards each other, showing some tenderness after they develop a friendship and learn how to relate to each other.
I tend to imagine both of them as virgins (partly because of how I interpret their personalities, partly because virginity loss is just hot to me) but I would also be interested in a confident, experienced Xenk looking after Simon, especially in a sex pollen or omegaverse scenario.
(Please don't mention Simon and Doric breaking up. I'd rather you give them an open relationship, make it an AU where they were never into each other, or just ignore that ship altogether.)

Robert Bruce/Elizabeth de Burgh
I love the gentle, tender romance that develops between these two. Robert is clearly attracted to Elizabeth from the moment they meet, but out of respect for her autonomy or for his first wife, he refuses to claim his "marital rights". Elizabeth is resigned to her duty, striding into her new life despite the flicker of fear over physical intimacy - and when she discovers that sex is off the table, it gives her space to fall in love with him.
I love the quiet, sometimes awkward moments of daily life, encountering each other in corridors and repeatedly saying goodnight - as well as Elizabeth developing a strong bond with Marjorie. But I also love the bolder, more political moments, from the ceremonies to Elizabeth displaying her political nouse and swearing herself to him. They match each other on every level - ruling together, laughing together, supporting each other's needs, whether big or small - and their love is deep and genuine. I was so pleased that she was the one to invite him to bed, and that he waited for her without question, resulting in a tender and passionate consummation. And I love that - despite her being a determined, intelligent queen and him being a complex, canny leader capable of brutality - when they're laughing and kissing they feel more like awkward, earnest teenage lovers embarking on innocent first love. If you want to try and capture all those nuances, you're very welcome to - but I'd be happy with something that highlights just one aspect, whether fluffy or dramatic or smutty.
You're very welcome to include Marjorie, or their other historical children, as well as references to Robert's relationship with his first wife. Also, don't feel you need to be historically accurate at all - the film clearly isn't! If you do happen to know about the period, feel free to use that knowledge to expand on the film, though please don't change anything established by the movie. But if you know nothing, and you make up something believable or just work from wikipedia - I don't know anything either so I won't notice if it's wrong, lmao.
Follower is Submissive to Leader in Bed Now that they're reunited, they get to explore the physically intimate side of their marriage - and considering the times, and the way Elizabeth clings to her duty to him, I can see them naturally falling into this dynamic. And both of them finding a heat and a tenderness in it.
Kneeling as Show of Fealty Could be Elizabeth kneeling for Robert, the consort expressing fealty to the king. Or it could be Robert to Elizabeth, as a promise to respect her, protect her, as a show of his duty. (He kneels when they're reunited!) Sexy or tender, public or private, I just love the symbolism of this.
Leader is submissive to Follower in bed I can see Robert going for this, actually. The way he kneels on the beach, calling her "my queen"... He's clearly besotted with her, and in the dark and privacy of the bedroom I don't think he'd see any weakness in ceding to her.
Loyalty in the sense of following wherever you lead | Loyalty in the sense of prioritizing you and making your goals their own "I choose you. And whatever course you are charting, I choose you." Elizabeth isn't Scottish, she didn't have a choice to marry Robert, she's offered the perfect opportunity to extract herself from this situation... But she chooses Robert, she chooses all that he's trying to achieve, chooses to be his wife, his queen, and keeps choosing it. "I understand. And I know my duty." And she's clinging tight to that duty.
Mutual Devotion This is canon as far as I'm concerned. It takes them a while to get there, but his devastation when he hears she's been captured... her pain and reluctance as she's asked to forsake him... not to mention the way they cling to each other when they're reunited on the beach. They're king and consort, they're husband and wife, committing to duty with each other, and to each other.
Possessive But Tender Sex Fully naked, fully vulnerable, expressing their deep bond, that they belong to each other now - like their canon sex scene, but with even more fealty vibes.
Nicholas Devereaux/Mia Thermopolis
This is such a great example of enemies to lovers. I love that they're kind and flirty at their first meeting, because they're immediately attracted to each other, and that even once they're enemies they can't hide that sexual tension. But their enmity is based on both seeking something only one of them can have rather than ideological differences: Nicholas seems more motivated by whether Mia's going to be a good queen and whether she really knows Genovia (and by his uncle's influence), and not a personal hunger for power. So once he's convinced of her capability (and she of his sincerity) and he gives up his claim to the crown, there's no question about whether they'd be able to find common ground. But it seems like Mabrey raised Nicholas to be king; is it strange for Nicholas being consort instead?
I love both the push-and-pull of Nicholas flirting and Mia trying to resist (in the closet, by the fountain, the deleted scene in the kitchen) as well as them being soft and friendly with each other: Nicholas supporting Mia by helping with her archery, and the night they spend together before her wedding where we see them opening up emotionally, dancing close, and falling asleep in each other's arms. So I'd love a post-canon continuation of that as their relationship develops, or is fully established. Or maybe an AU?
I liked Andrew as a character so no bashing of him please, and it's fine to have Mia/Andrew's unromantic engagement happening in the background or to show them amicably breaking up. Also happy for Clarisse/Joe to be in the background, or for Lilly to visit again. Or cute appearances by Fat Louie the cat or Maurice the dog!
Expressing Fealty by Performing Small Tasks to Smooth Leader's Daily Life Nicholas knows exactly what a monarch needs to do - the traditions, the etiquette, the responsibilities. And he's a native Genovian, when Mia's spent so much less time there. I love the idea that consort Nicholas would support Mia at royal events with gentle little gestures - smoothing over her awkward moments, whispering information about this person or that, contributing to the admin of preparations, teaching and guiding her when she's struggling with a task... or simply resting a hand on her back just so she knows she's not alone. All the little things that help reduce the burden she has to bear.
Expressing Fealty with Throne Sex She's got a fancy throne. The throne room is empty at night. It was where he confessed his love... Why not? It'd be hot and symbolic.
Follower Forces Leader to Stop Ignoring Their Own Needs Despite her awkwardness and her struggles, Mia cares so much about Genovia that she almost went through with an arranged marriage. Now that she's queen, and Clarisse isn't a shield against the full responsibility any more, I can see Mia getting too deep into trying to improve things for her people - and forgetting to take any time to look after herself. I'd love to see Nicholas gently but firmly make her prioritise herself, at least for a bit. Even if she's too exhausted to do more than let him care for her needs.
Follower is Submissive to Leader in Bed He could've been king, but Nicholas believes in Mia so much that he chose to walk behind her instead. Maybe he (and she) would find a satisfaction in continuing that submission in the bedroom. I confess that when he says "You can step on my foot any time" my brain just hears a man openly offering his body to his mistress, so...
Kneeling as Show of Fealty Nicholas literally got on one knee to confess his love. Not because he was proposing - because that's what the queen's subjects do in the throne room, because he was submitting to her rule after renouncing his claim. He could've chosen to ask about her feelings anywhere, but when their whole relationship was based on their rivalry for the crown, I think you can read a lot into him choosing to express his personal vulnerability in such a symbolic manner. If it means something to him (and to her!) maybe kneeling is an action he keeps repeating, in private as well as when public events call for it, as a tender gesture... or as a sexy one.
Leader is submissive to Follower in bed That archery scene... Nicholas gently guiding Mia through the task, seeing her needs and helping her reach something that had always been beyond her, as Mia practically shivers and calls the tender moment "wonderful" - it's such an intense and important turning point for them, and I can easily see them carrying that vibe into the bedroom. With Nicholas being the one person Mia trusts with her surrender, and his gentle care allowing her to relax and cede her burden for a while.
Medieval-era fantasy AU with knights and royalty High fantasy Genovia! There's so much you could do here. Knight Nicholas, charming in his polished armour... Mia dealing with even more pomp and ceremony... Maybe the crown is magical somehow, and that affected what Mia had to do to acquire it? Maybe Mabrey tried to use magic to bring down Mia. Maybe she didn't pick Andrew, maybe there was a tournament for her hand - and Nicholas won... or tutored Mia in archery so she could claim her own hand. You could do an AU of how they got together, or show me what Nicholas and Mia's established relationship would look like in high fantasy Genovia.
Mutual Devotion Now that she's queen, now that they're a couple, I'd love to see this kind of dynamic between them. There are already hints of it - in the archery scene, in his confession in the throne room, in tender night they spent together - but I'd love to see them as a committed couple, as queen and consort, emotionally and politically supporting each other, bound to each other, a team working towards the same goal.
Showing Fealty by Washing Leader's Hair We know from Paolo's struggles that getting Mia's hair under control involves an intensive routine. Maybe Nicholas helps her with it sometimes, as an intimate show of support... and/or because she's sick, or because her queenly duties have left her exhausted.
James T. Kirk/Leonard "Bones" McCoy
I love Bones and his sassy grumpiness, and how under that he clearly cares (though possibly he wishes he didn't). Kirk starts off rebellious and traumatised, but obviously has a keen mind and an urge to protect people. Really enjoy both Bones despairing at young, reckless, flirty Kirk, and the more tender moments once Kirk mellows into a slightly-more-responsible captain, like when they're sharing the booze that Bones stole from Chekov.
Do they mutually pine over each other in silence, with Bones maybe believing Kirk isn't even into men? Or does Kirk proposition him while they're still at the academy and they become friends with benefits? How long does it take them to admit they have feelings and they want more? Or maybe it's only after they're already on their five year mission when they start to see each other that way - does a dangerous situation push them to confess?
(No preference for whether you call them Jim/Bones or Kirk/McCoy, use what you prefer.)

James T. Kirk/Leonard "Bones" McCoy/Spock
Reckless but brilliant Kirk, logical yet emotional Spock, sharp-tongued but compassionate Bones... I love the interplay between these three: snarking yet supporting, frustrated yet protective, so loyal even when they disagree. Each side of the triangle has such a different way of interacting, and I'm interested in all of those as well as how they blend into a trio. Whether they're mutually pining before they get together, or they're a solid established triad, I'd love to see some smut, humour or hurt/comfort between them - or some vulnerability as they open up to each other.

Pavel Chekov/James T. Kirk
Chekov is so fucking adorable. I love his earnest enthusiasm, his innocence, and his extreme competency despite his age - and how that fits with Kirk, who's older, more traumatised, and chafes against the rules, but strives to protect his crew. They work so well together, and I really enjoyed how much of Beyond was just the two of them out in the wilds, with a slightly more mature Chekov showing he can handle himself in the field.
Would love to see them as a couple, with Kirk's captainly urges to keep people safe translating into him being soft and tender. Does Chekov's enthusiasm carry over into an excitement to share new experiences, from dates in interesting places, to exploring new sexual possibilities with Kirk? Does Kirk initially try to hide his trauma from his younger partner? Or do they spend ages mutually pining, with both thinking the age gap means the other would never be interested? What finally gets them to confess - a bad injury, dubcon sex, or simply an inability to hold it in any more?
If they're having sex due to a dubcon scenario (e.g. sex pollen, omegaverse heat) you can set it any time after Chekov turns 18, but if they're in a romantic relationship please set it during or after Beyond, i.e. when Chekov is 22 or older.
(No preference for whether you call them Jim/Pavel or Kirk/Chekov, use what you prefer.)

James T. Kirk/Christopher Pike
I love that Pike was the first one to believe in Kirk - and the one who got Kirk to believe in himself. He finds this young guy losing a bar fight and tells him he can do more, be better, live up to not only his potential but his father's legacy. And Kirk hears that challenge and says no, I'll do even better than that.
But there's a tension between them: Pike encourages Kirk's out-of-the-box thinking and urge for heroics, but also expects him to follow the rules (or at least know which rules to break and when). Kirk wants that approval, wants to excel, but he's used to rebellion and reckless behaviour and is willing to risk more than other people are comfortable with. There's this push and pull where they're trying to find where the line should fall, and maybe that could play into how they are as a couple: not quite sure if their relationship is appropriate or it's going too far, if it's going to make Kirk a better man or screw him up more.
As a captain, Pike seems kind and steady but also willing to make unconventional choices, and he gives Kirk a chance to speak even when he's just stowed away on his ship. Kirk respects him and wants his respect in return but also chafes against the hierarchy of Starfleet. I'd love to see their relationship blossom into more, with Pike being encouraging but maybe also conflicted, and Kirk finding a sense of safety even as he's unsettled by commitment.
Not looking for daddy kink here but Kirk's daddy issues are welcome. He obviously has some trauma with regards to his father (and presumably his abusive stepfather) and that's part of why he is the way he is. But with everything that happens in space, they probably both have some trauma due to the terrible things they've seen, maybe even PTSD, and that could play into some hurt/comfort.
If you set this during or after Into Darkness please go AU and have Pike live! (No preference for whether you call them Jim/Chris or Kirk/Pike, use what you prefer.)

James T. Kirk/Montgomery "Scotty" Scott
I love that Scotty is almost immediately loyal to Kirk, and that Kirk absolutely relies on him to get things done - even when Scotty's already resigned. And Scotty might complain, but he'll still rush to help him. I love how Scotty swings between almost innocent cheerfulness that turns to grumpiness when he feels unappreciated, and the humorous possibilities of that with his charming, flirty, almost reckless captain. Kirk's a good leader, but he's got trauma lurking beneath the surface, and I think Scotty would be kind with that. And they're both brilliant in their own ways.

James T. Kirk/Spock
I love that Spock is this reserved, logical, controlled figure - but secretly has all this emotion bubbling just beneath the surface. He pairs so well with charming, rebellious, almost reckless Kirk, who struggles to understand and predict Spock despite having such a mind for strategy. They both have so much angst and trauma, though Spock mostly keeps his internal (until he can't) while Kirk wears his externally, and I love to see them comforting and supporting each other. There's respect there even when they disagree - or outright argue - and I love the push and pull of Spock advising Kirk, with Spock wanting the best for him and valiantly trying to steer the unsteerable, while Kirk both values his opinion yet constantly grates against it. They balance each other, yet there's such friction. How does their dynamic translate to the bedroom?

Christopher Pike/Spock
This version of Pike is so charming. I love how he fondly teases his crew, his steady leadership, how much he cares. And that he's so eager to slip an apron on and cook for them, creating a cosy space where food (and service) is a gesture of affection - and I love that Spock has a matching apron, that they can cook together, that Spock will calmly do the dishes if Pike drops his apron on him. But Pike is also haunted by his future, so aware of the sacrifice that awaits him - determined to do his duty if it saves those young people, if it protects Spock.
Spock is almost adorable somehow, so earnest in everything he does. He's culturally Vulcan, determined to participate in all their traditions, even if he's biologically half human. But Pike accepts him as he is (that speech to the R'ongovians!), as do the crew. I love both Spock's practical, logical side, but also when he lets his emotions off the leash - his struggle feels so believable. He clearly respects Pike, willing to drop everything to be at his side, but he also senses there's a more tender connection between them - whether it's the shadow of Pike's future, or simply how much Pike cares, Spock is opening up to him.

Una Chin-Riley/La'an Noonien-Singh
I love the comfortable rapport these two have, despite La'an's spiky manner in the wake of her trauma - or because of the role Una played in her rescue. Una has become a figure of safety for her, with La'an imprinting on her love of strawberries, but they've also settled into a more mature professional relationship backed by that trust. There's some tension in the revelation that Una is an Illyrian, that she hid her nature, that she represents everything La'an was shamed for being - but La'an opens her heart again surprisingly quickly. She just can't not have Una there.
La'an is sharp and Una's gentle, but they connect so easily. I love that they're "not fun" in the same exact way, that they're fine with it, that they find their own fun together. Una is kind and nurturing to her crew - but maybe a little lost herself, after spending so long pretending to be something she wasn't. Now that she's not hiding any more, is she more open to other possibilities?

Amaya/Magnifico of Rosas
I loved the soft relationship these two had. Calm, confident, practical Amaya organising things to smooth Magnifico's work, but also gently steering and comforting him when he's tempted by darkness. Focused, arrogant, brilliant Magnifico dazzling his subjects, but revealing a softer and more vulnerable side when alone with his wife, happily taking her advice.
Despite his downfall, I do believe he really loved her, so I'd prefer them to be happily together at the end of the fic - even if things are complicated. I DNW breakups, so I don't want to see her abandon him because the book has turned him irreversibly evil. But Magnifico using the book and Amaya freeing him from its influence, resulting in an angsty situation with a penitent Magnifico, is totally fine. Also pre-canon angst or hurt/comfort, where their relationship is loving but the surrounding situation is more bittersweet. But I'd also love some fluff!
Character A Insists on Referring To Character B By Title She literally calls him "mi Rey"! Her husband. Even when they're alone together. It's canon.
Expressing Fealty by Performing Small Tasks to Smooth Leader's Daily Life From her gentle advice when he's struggling, to her prepping Asha for the interview, Amaya seems to view her role as his consort to mean she deals with all the practical little things that could trip Magnifico up, leaving him free to be a brilliant sorcerer and king. I love the attentiveness of that, and the tenderness there could be - especially if he's grateful for it.
Expressing Fealty with Throne Sex I think Magnifico would love the symbolism of this. Very flattering to his ego - and scorching hot, of course.
Follower is Submissive to Leader in Bed | Leader is submissive to Follower in bed I don't mind which way round it is, but that fealty carrying over to the bedroom (or trusting in its reversal) would make some great smut.
Former Monarch Required to Swear Fealty to New Ruler Instead of him getting stuck in the mirror, Amaya frees Magnifico from the green magic's influence. But the betrayed citizens still make her the new queen. How does a penitent, regretful, even resentful Magnifico deal with his new situation - and his continuing feelings for his wife, now his ruler? How does Amaya deal with this reversal, with her new power? Does she keep him on a (metaphorical) short leash, as a protective measure or as a punishment? Does she gently try to ease him into his new role?
Mutual Devotion Rather than him turning evil and her giving him up for lost, I'd love more of this vibe between them. Pre-canon, post-canon, a missing scene. I just want the kindness and support she shows him to matter; she's the one person he bends for, and I don't think he'd abandon that so quickly. If he is doing questionable things, maybe it's an expression of his trauma - a desire to keep his subjects safe, a need to protect his wife from any hurt. They just seemed so loved up and it'd be great to see a mutual loyalty there.
Asha/Magnifico of Rosas
I kinda felt like they couldn't decide what Magnifico's motivation was. Like whether he was a purely evil villain powered by arrogance and a need for control, or whether he was a sympathetic antagonist crushed by the pressure of kingship and past trauma. For this exchange, all of my requested tags lean towards an evil interpretation, so I'm happy for you to turn his arrogance and manipulation to the max. Including a villain wins AU.
Or maybe an AU where Asha became his apprentice after all, and Magnifico more subtly influences her into serving her king... Up to and including sex, whether dubcon or consensual. Maybe he claims he needs her help with a big spell to protect the kingdom... and it involves sex. Or he doses Asha with sex pollen, knowing she's too loyal to question how it happened. (Or maybe he decides to drop the mask completely and noncon her.) But maybe it's not about sex at all, maybe Magnifico just nudges Asha into doing moral - or magical - things that she's uncomfortable with, slowly pushing her boundaries. (And maybe Asha's pining and can't see that her loyalty is harmful.)
Please either make this an AU where Asha is already 18, or have a time skip so she's an adult. You could give Magnifico and Amaya an open relationship, or make it an AU where they were never a couple, or just have Magnifico cheating on Amaya. If Asha and Magnifico have any kind of sexual contact, it can be consensual or dubcon or noncon.
Bad character taking advantage of the fealty they receive Asha was so eager to help her king during her interview. If she never realised how he treats the wishes, what could he have done with that loyalty? How far could he have pushed it? As his subject, or his apprentice, he could steer Asha into things that make her uncomfortable, with the promise it's for the good of Rosas - for the good of her king.
Dub/noncon - Abuse of Authority for Sex Maybe Magnifico gaslights Asha into thinking he knows best, or coerces her despite her discomfort. And she goes along with it, not yet awoken to the truth. Maybe he even takes what he wants, despite her protests, assuring her that nobody will believe her if she tries to say their kind wish-granting king did this. Maybe in a world where he won, he keeps Asha as his captive, knowing nobody can oppose what he does to her. Or maybe the forbidden green magic means he can ensorcel his subjects, forcing their loyalty - so Asha willingly spreads her legs for her king.

Helping injured character undress, remove armour, etc.
- Seasickness. Morning sickness. "Oh no, that thing you just ate was poisoned." Vomiting in the context of hurt/comfort - the loss of control, the pain of throwing up, the vulnerability of being seen that way - whether due to nausea, induced by emetic, or induced by fingers (theirs or partner's). Not interested in the vomit itself, though fine to mention it looks/smells/tastes gross.

Smut Likes:
- Positions: Missionary, riding and other face-to-face positions, for eye contact and/or lots of kissing. But spooning pairs well with gentle sex, and oral fingering's probably more easily done from behind.

- Dubcon: Sex pollen. Fuck or die. Sex caused by magic or to perform magic. Pining during dubcon. (Whether they admit their feelings during, after, or not at all.) Having to trust each other with the unexpected intimacy. Worrying about being so vulnerable but being kind to each other and coming out stronger on the other side.
- Size kink and stretching: Big cocks. Painful penetration. Lots of foreplay/prep, slow and gentle penetration so it isn't painful. Large object insertions. Sounding.
- Omegaverse: Alpha/Omega. Painfully big alpha dicks. Knotting. Sexy pheromones. Pheromones that communicate fear, or anger, or other emotions. Alpha pheromones that make the omega feel safe, or protected, or calm.
- An undercover situation requires them to fuck while being watched, but they successfully fake it - except the kisses, the touches, the proximity, and the "is it okay if I..." questions whispered right in each other's ears were all very real. And some of those moans didn't sound fake. Either they're so wound up they fuck for real once they're no longer being watched, or the feelings keep simmering until they boil over later.

And an Oath of Devotion paladin swears a vow of duty: "Follow justly those to whom you serve, ensure ownership of all your deeds, and guard with your life those you are sworn to watch over." If Xenk falls in with the party longterm, he might easily see himself as either their follower or their protector.
