But Frank, the leader of Victory Mindset, singles Alice out and tells her she has real potential. Alice slowly gets drawn into the spider's web, and by the time she realises just how dangerous and unhealthy Frank's methods for "helping" his followers are she's in so deep that getting out won't be easy... Or maybe, despite the unsettling feeling inside her, Alice never manages to see through Frank's mask at all.
Alice was growing tired of Jack, but these days it's hard to remember why - he seems so magnetic now, and it's hard to question things when she's so much more tired than she used to be. She keeps waking up with two strange marks on her neck. And Jack's new friend Frank seems to have a power over him - and her - that she can't really explain. There's something about Frank's hypnotic eyes, and the way he looks at her like he wants to devour her...
Frank is the headmaster of a college that teaches sex magic. Alice gets along with her partner Jack, but she can't help but be flattered by Frank taking a special interest in her - and suspicious about the costs and ultimate goals of the intimate magic he's teaching. Maybe Frank offers some personal tuition, tells Alice she's in danger of failing out, and/or asks for her help with a special spell. Maybe Alice discovers a dark truth at the heart of the college, but has to play along while she collects the evidence to prove it.
A glitch in Victory's software has a sex pollen-like effect. And these two just happen to be in close proximity when it hits them.
Alice hates Frank, hates the whole concept of Victory... but when he presses in close to her, she can't help but go weak at the knees.
Omega Alice goes into heat, and with Jack away (or dead) she needs help from alpha Frank to get her through it. But being knotted by him is way more intimate than she bargained for.
Now that Jack's out of the picture, Frank decides to just take what he wants. Whether he pins her down, ties her up, manhandles her against a wall, or quietly threatens Alice before gently nonconning her, he's going to force her to enjoy it.

Bunny/Alice Chambers

Best friends to lovers! I can see these two having a giggly, possibly drunken, hookup either while their husbands are "at work" or during a party. Maybe it would just be a bit of fun, but as Bunny knows the truth about Victory and Alice doesn't there could be some manipulation there.

Bunny/Frank Carlson

Unlike most of the women, Bunny knows what Victory is and what Frank's doing - and yet she smiles and encourages him during his first speech at his house. It also seems like she's informing on Alice. I can easily imagine there's something going on between Bunny and Frank, whether a secret relationship where he's manipulating her, or there's an understanding with her husband that Frank gets to have his way with any of the wives. Frank is so manipulative, and Bunny is reliant on him to keep access to her children. But maybe she believes in him? Maybe she's dazzled and flattered by the attention? Not looking for noncon, but dubcon or fully consensual is fine.

Jack Chambers/Frank Carlson

That scene where Frank calls Jack up on stage to give him a promotion and slip a ring on his finger, man. Symbolic much? And then Frank pushes him into dancing for everyone. I can definitely see Frank giving compliments, singling Jack out, telling him he's special, etc and using that to steer or even coerce him into sex. Jack probably has a bit of hero worship for Frank, so I think he'd be susceptible, regardless of his feelings for Alice.

You could do this as a missing scene or maybe an AU of some kind. Did something happen when Frank and Jack went outside after the dinner party? Or what about at Frank's house: Alice finds Jack in Frank's bedroom, a bit dishevelled with his tie undone... Had they just been doing something? Or I'm sure there are many other opportunities for them to have had a secret liaison.

Due to the nature of the relationships in this canon, I'm fine with cheating and breakups here. Also happy for Alice/Jack and Frank/Shelley (or even Alice/Frank) to be happening in the background. I'm not looking for noncon, but consensual or dubcon is good: maybe Jack is fully on board with everything Frank's doing, or maybe Frank slowly manipulates him into it.

After Frank gives Jack the ring on stage, they have a private celebration away from prying eyes.
It's the 1950s for real and life in the town of Victory is perfect. But being near Frank gives Jack feelings he can't name and feels deeply guilty about - but desperately wants to act on.
A regency AU, where Jack is looking for a wife and Frank is a rake encouraging all his worst impulses. Maybe they're both members of the same gentlemen's club and a night of drinking and gambling ends with them doing inadvisible things in a dark corner - or with Jack getting into Frank's carriage, and them fucking in Frank's luxurious bed... or on the way there. Maybe Jack is courting Frank's ward Alice, and Frank wants Jack to prove how serious he is - by asking him to do a series of increasingly forbidden acts with Frank himself. Jack's no innocent, but Frank's determined to corrupt him utterly.
When Jack hears about the personal development courses offered by Victory Mindset, he quickly accepts their teachings - but it's the irresistible pull of the founder Frank that convinces him to go all in. Even as "all in" starts to involve some really questionable things. Because Frank says it's all for the best and Frank is always right. Isn't he?
Jack's an eager student at a college that teaches sex magic. He enjoys the work with his partner Alice - but when the headmaster Frank invites Jack for some private tutoring he doesn't even think about saying no... or stop to ask what kinds of spells they'll be casting.
When he meets the charismatic Frank, with his hypnotic eyes and voice, Jack is quickly enthralled. Frank slowly draws Jack into his world, telling him he could be something special - until Frank reveals his secret... he's a vampire, and he wants Jack to join him.
Maybe Frank tells Jack he knows a trick that sends women wild in bed - but the only way he can teach it is a private, hands-on lesson.

They get hit by sex pollen and the experience is unexpectedly hot.
For dom/sub, I'm happy with whichever way you want to assign the roles. Maybe dom Holga loves pinning Doric down, grunting orders and absolutely ruining her. Maybe sub Doric loves giving up control to someone so much stronger than her. Or maybe dom Doric delights in having control over someone so much stronger than her, and sub Holga likes being able to have sex without doing much talking and just following orders.

Doric & Xenk Yendar

We don't really get any focused moments between these two in the film, but Doric actually seems like the least hostile to Xenk from the beginning - ironic considering her stance on humans started as "hateful and selfish" and "just can't help but lie"... but then Xenk and his ridiculous paladin goodness are so obviously the opposite of that! Now that she's decided humans are "okay", I'd love to see her and Xenk become true friends.

Bonding over being very visibly from groups that are widely hated/mistrusted. Maybe they discuss why they choose not to hide it, and how difficult that can be sometimes. Maybe they talk about the families they lost, and how different their childhoods were.
Xenk is one of the few people who actually enjoys how blunt Doric is, and Doric is pleased that he does.
Doric in owlbear form is the only one strong enough to carry an injured/unconscious Xenk in full armour.
Appreciating the wonders of nature together - the dawn chorus, a beautiful landscape, a starry sky, the first buds of spring, the leaves turning gold...
Doric gets injured, and tries to remain stoic as Xenk heals her. Or Xenk gets injured, and can't heal himself - but Doric knows a natural remedy, and the plant grows in this area.
Xenk gets downed during a fight and owlbear Doric has to protect him.

Doric/Xenk Yendar

We don't really get any focused moments between these two in the film, but Doric actually seems like the least hostile to Xenk from the beginning - ironic considering her stance on humans started as "hateful and selfish" and "just can't help but lie"... but then Xenk and his ridiculous paladin goodness are so obviously the opposite of that! If Xenk joined the party for further adventures, I like to imagine they'd become good friends.

I mostly imagine this pairing as sexual rather than romantic, with them indulging in some consensual casual sex or helping each other through a dubcon scenario. But if you want to sell me on their love story, go ahead! I headcanon Xenk as a virgin, and Doric could easily be one too - but maybe she has a bit of experience. Or maybe, if it's dubcon, Xenk is the experienced one gently looking after her.

(Please don't mention Simon and Doric breaking up. I'd rather you just ignore that ship or give them an open relationship.)

Doric gets injured and tries to remain stoic as Xenk heals her, even though he has to press his hands to her bare skin. Or Xenk gets injured, and can't heal himself - but Doric knows a natural remedy, and the plant grows in this area. Maybe the intimacy of the healing sparks a frisson between them, and results in a kiss.
Or maybe Doric's injury results in her collapsing, and Xenk catches her before she hits the ground. And the way he's holding her close, looking at her with such concern, sets her heart pounding...
Huddling for warmth in a cold cave, a snowed-in cabin, locked in a cell together, etc results in them kissing. Maybe Xenk is too repressed to do more, even though Doric's up for it. Maybe he'll agree to skin-to-skin contact, but only because tieflings have a naturally higher body temp. Or maybe Doric convinces him that some casual sex is the best way to keep warm, and they both have a great time.
While adventuring away from the others, they discover a magical grove that's slowly being corrupted. Both of them are eager to cleanse it, but then its guardians explain that the ritual magic would require the two of them to have sex.
One or both of them gets hit by sex pollen, and there's nobody else around to help. Maybe Doric is practical and sees no reason not to have some fun together. Maybe Xenk is conflicted, wanting to help - or needing help himself - but reluctant to open up to her. But in the end he's too kind, or too desperate, to actually refuse it... even if he's a virgin.
Omega Doric goes into heat and asks alpha Xenk to help her through it. Maybe he's a virgin and nervous about being so intimate - but he can't bear to see her suffering. Or maybe the sexual tension between them isn't enough to overcome the intimacy issues they both have, so he just holds her close so she can inhale his alpha scent.

Dralas/Xenk Yendar

For this ship, I'm fine with conflicted feelings that are never acted upon, hatesex, dubcon, or Dralas nonconning Xenk. Breakups are okay, as they are clearly not together at the time of the movie.

Their dialogue makes it clear that these two have a history, but what kind of history is that? Were they always enemies? We don't really get a sense of Dralas's past or how they met but, in contrast to the compassion and encouragement Xenk shows everyone else, Dralas is the one person that Xenk calls "loathsome"... Is Xenk conflicted about treating Dralas so negatively, or does he feel it's justified? Dralas seems almost teasing during their conversation. Does he enjoy getting a rise out of the stoic paladin?

Unlike the Red Wizards, Dralas bears the same mark on his forehead that Xenk does. Was he a victim of the Beckoning Death, like those "honourable men" Xenk saw turned into monsters? Trained as an assassin, with no memory of his mortal life? Or did he willingly submit to undeath, choosing to serve Szass Tam? Maybe he had been an assassin for years - or maybe he was a child at the time of the Beckoning Death, who survived the spell but was ripped from his family anyway, and brainwashed as they trained him to serve in the future? Maybe he was even Xenk's childhood friend! (Whichever you choose, I'd prefer child Xenk not to have met an adult Dralas, or vice versa.)

If you go for a post-film setting, it's fine to mention that Dralas survived being eaten by Themberchaud and that it wasn't pleasant, but I don't want any further details!

They first met when Szass Tam sent Dralas to win Xenk's trust and then force undeath on him/capture him and take him back to Thay. But the more he got to know Xenk, the more complicated Dralas's loyalties became...
Or maybe they were childhood friends and Xenk once had hope of freeing him from the curse of undeath. Maybe Dralas used that to play on Xenk's sympathies, trying to convince him he didn't really want to be a villain. Did Xenk give up on Dralas because he realised only a Tablet of Reawakening could free him, or because he realised Dralas had totally converted to Szass Tam's side?
They're trapped in a dungeon or somewhere, and the only way for either of them to escape is to work together.
Dralas tries to tempt Xenk to the dark side. He'd never give in, of course, but maybe Dralas makes it painful enough that he wishes he could - maybe through torture, or through some kind of magic.
Or Xenk needs some information from Dralas, and he casts a Zone of Truth before interrogating him.
Another fight between them, but this time without weapons – resulting in a lot of grabbing, wrestling and straddling.
Dralas captures Xenk, puts him in chains and tenderly menaces him.
In the middle of a fight, they accidentally disturb something that releases sex pollen. Now they have to fuck or both of them will die, permanently.
Dralas survived being eaten by Themberchaud and decides to get revenge by nonconning Xenk. Maybe the other assassins watch - or join in.

Edgin Darvis & Doric

Considering Doric's angsty past she seems like she'd be the type to struggle with vulnerability, and Edgin tries to cover up all his angst with a smile. I love that moment on the beach, when Doric sits next to Edgin and pats him on the shoulder, and he pats her back.

Edgin Darvis/Doric

While trying to recruit her, Edgin was definitely using all his charm (although not in a sexual way) but Doric seemed utterly immune to it. I loved the tender moment when Edgin was sitting on the rock on the beach: his little smile as she walked over, the way she gently patted his shoulder and he patted hers in return, and she smiled back. Maybe his charm would be more welcome now they have a genuine connection, or maybe she'd be the one to instigate it.

I'd love to see something fun and casual between them, some hesitant romantic feelings, or some dubcon (sex pollen, fuck-or-die, omegaverse heat, etc) where they look after each other and have no regrets after. Maybe Edgin would be a little worried about the age difference, but Doric is so blunt and practical that she wouldn't quietly do something she was uncomfortable with.

(Please don't mention Simon and Doric breaking up. I'd rather you just ignore that ship or give them an open relationship.)

I'd love to see more soft moments like the one on the beach. Maybe Doric talks more about her family or about how people treat her as a tiefling, and Edgin patiently listens before reassuring her. Maybe Edgin has a nightmare about Zia while Doric's on watch in their camp, and she sits with him while he calms down. Just a gentle moment of vulnerability between them, where Edgin drops his mask - but maybe not his jokes.
Their latest quest means they have to pretend to be in a relationship. Maybe Edgin tries to get away with just holding her hand, concerned that kissing her would be going too far - but Doric insists she's comfortable with it. Maybe they have to fake having sex... or just agree to do it for real, no strings attached. Maybe they enjoy the roleplay but afterwards go back to being friends, or maybe it makes them wonder if they want to continue.
Edgin gets injured, but luckily Doric knows of a herbal medicine that can help - and it grows nearby. Maybe the intimacy of treating him sparks a frisson between them, and she ends up giving him some sexual comfort too.
Huddling for warmth in a cold cave, a snowed-in cabin, locked in a cell together, etc turns into casual sex to keep warm.
Doric wants to lose her virginity to someone she trusts, so she asks charming, experienced Edgin to do the deed. Maybe he's initially reluctant and she has to convince him she means it. Maybe Edgin is so well-endowed that she needs a lot of foreplay and he has to be very gentle about the whole thing. But they have a great night together and Doric is glad of the experience.
One or both of them gets hit by sex pollen, maybe while they're trapped in a dungeon and there's nobody else around. Maybe Edgin tries to resist and Doric insists she doesn't have a problem with doing it - or maybe they'll die if they don't fuck, and they're gentle with each other as they rely on their friendship to get through it.
Omega Doric goes into heat while there's nobody else around and begs alpha Edgin to ease her suffering. Maybe he's worried that it's just the heat talking and refuses to do more than hold her close and give her his scent, resisting anything more throughout the entire thing. Edgin Darvis/Forge Fitzwilliam

I love that Forge genuinely cares about Edgin, wants good things for him, enjoys spending time with him... and yet will quite happily ruin Edgin's life if it enriches his own. And he doesn't see any contradiction in that! That's so deliciously complicated.

Meanwhile Edgin seems to have trusted Forge, not only enough to ask him to look after Kira, but to be surprised when Forge later reveals his betrayal at Korinn's Keep. All that time he had to think while spending two years in Revel's End, and Edgin never considered that the con man could have been a traitor? Is Forge that good? Is Edgin actually a bit naive? Or has Edgin always been suspicious of Forge - but thought that his own criminal talents were enough that he would spot any betrayal before it happened? And, as he didn't see it, obviously Forge hadn't betrayed him...

I'd love to see these two being flirty and charming together, whether during one of their schemes or while relaxing in a tavern. Feel free to have Forge manipulating Edgin, or Edgin not being sure if he's being manipulated or not. I'm happy with it being either a fun, angst-free ship before the betrayal, or unsettling yet hot. I usually assume Forge tops, but maybe he likes bottoming - or maybe the situation requires it.

(And, in light of that betrayal, I'm fine with them breaking up whatever arrangement they have.)

One night at an inn, Edgin (or both of them) gets really drunk and they end up making out. Maybe they go to bed together, or maybe Edgin halts proceedings because he feels too guilty about Zia.
They have some kind of friends-with-benefits situation. Maybe just to blow off some steam with someone convenient. Maybe Edgin's deeply missing Zia and needs to feel something else for a while. Maybe they genuinely like each other but they're too emotionally constipated to do more than fuck.
Edgin has a sexy dream about Forge, maybe while he's stuck in Revel's End – whether or not he'd already noticed, or acted on, an attraction to the guy.
They have to fake a relationship as part of some con. But they're both way too good at pretending, and the situation means their displays of affection have to keep escalating...
They get bodyswapped. Maybe sex is the only way they can change back, or maybe they're both curious what it's like to fuck themselves.
Forge is an omega and is really annoyed about it. The fact that Edgin's an alpha and gently helps him through his heats only makes him more annoyed.
Or omega Edgin goes into heat and alpha Forge is happy to get laid. Whether Forge is considerate or is rougher than Edgin would like is up to you. Maybe he dubcons Edgin into accepting his knot.

I can't tell you how excited I was to see a canon male-female relationship that will explicitly only ever be platonic, and yet is vitally important to their lives. I love how they clearly care for and respect each other, despite being so different, and how they use their different skills to achieve their goals together.

I would be happy to see anything about the two of them, set at any point from when they first meet to after the events of the film. Fluff, angst, hurt/comfort... All of it. I just want to see them bantering, working together, protecting each other, being best friends and co-parents. I love seeing little hints of affection peeking through Holga's gruffness, and I love Edgin feeling secure enough to drop his cheerful mask. But I also love them being genuinely happy together.

Take pretty much any common trope that fandom does for romantic ships and shove these two into it, but make it aggressively platonic. They get hit with sex pollen but refuse to fuck! Telepathic soulbond but Edgin's only got a song stuck in his head! Fake relationship but Holga refuses to do more than hold hands! Omega Edgin goes into heat but alpha Holga's immune to his pheromones, and she protects him from all other alphas! etc. etc.
Holga gets hurt and Edgin has to try and convince her to let him dress the wound. Maybe she initially tries to hide her injury. Or Edgin gets hurt or sick and Holga is his awkward caretaker, little bits of softness slipping through her usually gruff demeanour.
"Not fortune found nor fate divine" seems to be Edgin's song of choice for cheering up Holga. Show me another time(s) when he sang it to her. Or maybe one where she sang it to him.
Them raising Kira together, whether as a baby, a child or a teen. Teaching her to walk, teaching her to speak, teaching her life skills. Kira's milestones. Celebrating Kira's birthday. Did they ever disagree on how to parent her?
Stuck in Revel's End together. Maybe Edgin tries to entertain Holga through the long boring days. Or it's even colder than normal and they have to cuddle for warmth. Maybe they angst together about missing Kira. Maybe Edgin braids Holga's hair for her.
Or the other prisoners discover Edgin was a Harper and decide to punish him (with a beating or attempted noncon) and Holga has to rescue him, or prevents it from happening to begin with.

I have so many feelings about these two. I love their banter and how they spark off each other, how Edgin sees Xenk as an enemy but then grows to respect him and doesn't want him to leave, how Xenk is frustrated with Edgin's criminal tendencies but fully believes in his goodness and is determined to draw it out... Making Edgin swear on the Harper's seal, then tenderly touching his hand? In fact, all of the hand-holding, and the offers of hand-holding. I'd love to see how their relationship develops after the film, with a softer friendship blossoming into romance. (And more touching. Lots of touching. And banter.)

These two are so good for mutual pining. Maybe Xenk thinks he can't be with anyone because of his duty as a paladin, or because the Beckoning Death has left him cursed, partially undead, lacking part of his soul, etc. Maybe Edgin finds out Xenk is a virgin and assumes the guy isn't interested in sex at all. (I do headcanon Xenk as a virgin.) Or Edgin thinks Xenk's too noble and pure to want a criminal like him, or thinks Xenk wants someone more serious or more intellectual. Xenk thinking Edgin's too charming and sociable to want someone as awkward and unbending as him... I love the angsty possibilities of all this, the two of them keeping their feelings secret even as they're practically bursting with longing. Especially as both of them are so touchy-feely! They must be torturing each other.

I'd love anything from an emotional get together to established relationship PWP. From angst full of pining or about the scars they both have, to gentle fluff with bantering or cuddles or domesticity, to deliciously indulgent tropeyness, there are so many different ways you could take this. If there's smut, happy for it to be vanilla or kinky, fully consensual or dubcon (sex pollen, fuck-or-die, bad guys made them do it, omegaverse heat, etc)

Xenk has recurring nightmares about the Beckoning Death. Edgin comforts him after one, either because he was on watch in camp, because they were forced to share a bed, or because they're already sleeping together.
Oh no, they just touched this magical artifact and now they have a telepathic soulbond! Does Xenk start thinking exclusively in Thayan so Edgin can't hear his pining? Does Edgin have to keep singing a song in his head so he doesn't start thinking about the way Xenk's touching him? Does the bond force Edgin to share Xenk's nightmares, and discover the true depths of his trauma? Do they end up having mindblowing telepathic sex?
Xenk keeps finding more and more excuses to hold Edgin's hand, and Edgin is running out of reasons to refuse...
Hurt/comfort, where Xenk can't use his healing for whatever reason. Either one as the hurt party, with the other one looking after them, burning with worry, the pining only getting worse as they give them reassuring touches, or even hold them close...
Xenk tangling his fingers in Edgin's hair, while they kiss or have sex.
Maybe they confess their feelings - and then don't have a sex for a while, because Xenk's angst means he's not ready for it. Edgin's happy to wait, and there's lots of kissing and a growing emotional intimacy, before he finally deflowers a nervous but excited Xenk with some gentle and tender sex.
Or maybe they've both been longing so much, driven mad by all the torture of those little touches, that when they discover they're in love with each other they're both desperate to fuck.
Xenk has found a powerful artifact he can use against the Red Wizards. But he needs Edgin's help, because the only way he can attune to it/disable the spell guarding it is via sex magic. (Whether they're an established couple or they haven't gotten together yet.)

I don't really have any headcanons for these two, so I'm open to a lot of different possibilities. Were they best friends who fell in love? Friends with benefits, maybe even deciding to lose their virginities together? Did Edgin woo Zia with his bardic skills? Or did she court him, and back then he was flustered rather than polished and charming?

You can set this at any point, from when they first got together, while they were dating, when they were married, when Zia was pregnant with Kira, to after Kira was born... I'd just like to see Edgin being happy, and to see more of Zia at all. She seemed so sweet and sensible! Show me them making sweet love, or a kinky fuck between two people who know and trust each other completely.

I really like the idea of Edgin getting to be happy with Zia but also with Xenk, and Zia and Xenk being happy together too. So... AU where she never dies? Maybe Edgin stays a Harper and ends up working with Xenk, and they get closer, resulting in Xenk being drawn into the established marriage?

Edgin seemed a lot softer before Zia's death - and maybe less prone to hiding his feelings - and Zia seemed very sweet and understanding, and I'd love to see what kind of dynamic they develop with kind but serious Xenk. Would love to see them being domestic in the cottage at Targos, all helping to raise Kira, or - as Edgin and Holga managed to take young Kira on the road - maybe all three of them could have glorious adventures together, making the world a better place?

Sparring together, working out together. Maybe Xenk tries to go easy on Holga and she baits him into giving everything he's got. Maybe Xenk is just pleased to have someone who can keep up with him.
Holga shows Xenk how to have fun, or vice versa. Maybe they discover an activity they would never have appreciated on their own. Or maybe they're not convinced by it, but they learn to understand each other better. Or Xenk is grateful for the time spent together, but not the horrible hangover that results.
Cleaning or looking after their weapons together. Maybe Xenk also appreciates the work of Ghelryn Foehammer. Maybe Xenk once saved Ghelryn Foehammer!

I'm fine with this being either in the context of background Xenk/Edgin or just Xenk joining the party and becoming their friend. I want all the super soft platonic or familial feelings here, with maybe a bit of angst due to Kira's time with Forge.

How long does it take Kira to trust Xenk? How much of Edgin's hatred of Thayans did she pick up? Does her experience with Forge – a man she trusted because Edgin trusted him, who then turned on her – affect how willing she is to believe in Xenk's goodness, or in Edgin's declaration of Xenk's goodness? Does she no longer trust her own assessment of people? Does Xenk have to work hard to reassure her... or is his innate goodness so incredibly obvious that actually she trusts him quite quickly?

Playing a game where Kira turns invisible and Xenk has to use his super hearing to figure out where she is. Or a board game. Or a snowball fight!
Xenk protects Kira during a battle when her invisibility fails.
Kira receives a minor injury (something like a graze or a small cut, nothing big please!) and Xenk is very kind and gentle as he heals it for her.
Xenk braids Kira's hair for her.
They get captured and imprisoned together. Xenk reassures Kira while they wait for the others to rescue them.
Or Xenk gets imprisoned, and Kira uses her necklace to sneak in and tell him the escape plan. Or deliver the key to his cell.
Is Xenk concerned about Kira's moral compass, considering she was brought up among a gang of thieves? Does he try to influence her towards goodness, the way he does with her father? Or maybe Kira is surprised by Xenk's morality, like the fact he is prepared to steal as long as it's for X reason.
Edgin's birthday is coming up, so Xenk and Kira go shopping for presents together.
They've been walking for hours and Kira is exhausted. Xenk gives her a piggyback.
Show me how Xenk's relationship with Kira develops if he starts dating Edgin, or even marries him. She already has two mothers, a father, and had an "uncle", so I don't really see her being upset by him joining the family. But is he surprised the first time she hugs him? How long before he feels comfortable giving her a kiss on the forehead? What does she go to him for advice about? Is he the "strict" parent? Or, having not known her as a young child, is he more ready to give her responsibility appropriate to her age than Edgin and Holga, who maybe haven't quite accepted she's growing up? Or just some adorable domestic fluff about a normal day at the cottage in Targos.

I love how soft Simon gets around Doric and I'd love to see her showing a softer side to him in return. (I do love Doric's spikiness though.) And I love that over the course of the film, she was very interested every time Simon's competency was shown or discussed - she was always into him, she just had this one dealbreaker, and then he fixed it! (Well, maybe he didn't entirely fix it: I love Simon having more confidence, but it might be nice to see him struggle a little - with Doric encouraging him, now she's convinced of his capability.) Does Doric have a competency kink?

Both of them have angsty pasts: Doric as a tiefling rejected by her parents, who's visibly an outsider wherever she goes; Simon as a sorcerer trying to live up to his family's long legacy of wizardry. Plus, as a half-elf, wherever he was raised, he was probably too human for the elves and too elven for the humans. As they get to know each other better, it'd be great to see them open up to each other about these things.

Maybe their courting is awkward at first, possibly hampered by Simon's tendency to break things or fall over, but I absolutely believe they're a good match and would love to see a happy relationship grow between them.

I tend to imagine Simon is a virgin, due to all his awkwardness at romance, and considering how disliked tieflings are Doric might be one too. But maybe she has some experience, and confidently reassures a nervous Simon.

Soft domestic times, whether at home or on the road. Cooking together, going shopping, changing the bedclothes, just relaxing by the fire. These two need some happiness!
They're trapped during a snowstorm and Doric turns into an owlbear to keep Simon warm.
Or Simon injures himself, maybe twists his ankle so he can't walk, or gets injured in combat; Doric turns into an owlbear to carry him.
They both have family angst; maybe that comes to the fore when Simon runs into his wizard father, or has to work with a cousin - or asks Doric to attend a family reunion with him. I imagine he's not just a descendant of Elminster Aumar, but the sole sorcerer in a whole family of wizards. Does seeing the origins of Simon's lack of confidence help Doric understand (and support) him better? Does it help her open up about her own past more? Would love to see them bond over the experience and have some quiet, tender moments.
Doric wraps her tail around Simon's arm while they're walking along, or cuddling in bed, or having sex.
Going undercover as a married couple not only forces them to rely on each other to keep up their story and acquire the artifact/info/thing they came to get, but gets them thinking about the next stage in their relationship.
Simon's wild magic spectacularly misfires and now they've swapped bodies/developed a telepathic soulbond/can't be more than five feet from each other without causing pain. Doric had barely settled into their tentative relationship, and this unexpected intimacy makes her feel very vulnerable - but despite his awkwardness, Simon is still soft and kind with her.
Exploring and discovering each other's bodies and how different they are. Does Simon unsubtly start trying to steal Doric's tiefling warmth when it's cold? Does her tail communicate her feelings? Are her horns sensitive? They both have pointed ears - do the tips wiggle when they're embarrassed, or aroused, or orgasming?
Doric pegs Simon. Maybe she suggests it and he's hesitant but ends up enjoying it, or he nervously requests it and she's happy to oblige.
If you wanted to do dom/sub, I'm fine whichever way you assign the roles. Would Edgin's charm and confidence carry over to the bedroom, or would he be earnest and vulnerable? Would Simon be anxious about his performance, or more willing to believe Edgin's reassurances? Depending on the situation, maybe Edgin feels too weird about the age difference, and isn't prepared to do more than kiss... until something pushes them into it.

Simon's frustrated by his lack of romantic success and thinks he'd find it easier if he had more experience, so he asks Edgin to help him practise flirting/practise kissing/take his virginity. Or Edgin stumbles on Simon reading an Instructional Manual, and giving him tips turns into some hands-on demonstration.
Edgin tries to wingman for Simon in a tavern, but the more he extols Simon's virtues the more it seems like he shouldn't be trying to fix Simon up with someone else at all...

And Xenk isn't great at social interaction, so he might not realise Simon feels that way, or might not know how to explain that he actually does care. Potentially some angst there, but I'd also love some fluff.

I imagine them both to be quite nerdy: Simon in a "likes to know a bit about everything" way, Xenk more specifically interested in history and puzzles. Maybe they could find common ground in geeking out about some artifact or old book they discover, or just having a good chat about some fascinating information. (I don't think anyone else in the party would be that interested, so they'd probably both be like finally! Someone who gets it!) Or they have to combine their knowledge in order to unlock a puzzle inside a dungeon?

Xenk tries to teach Simon some combat skills so he can defend himself if he runs out of spell slots/his wild magic misfires/he gets cuffed again.
Simon worries that Xenk doesn't like him. Xenk surprises him with a thoughtful gift, perhaps a rare tome on sorcery.
Xenk doesn't want to bother Simon with the Heavy Object he's carrying. He can manage! He doesn't want to impose! Everyone else might make Simon carry things, but he won't! And Simon has to convince Xenk that using his bag of holding is the most sensible option all around.

Or maybe Simon injures himself and then tries to hide it because he's embarrassed about how it happened. But Xenk figures it out and insists on healing him.
There's a cave-in but Simon uses his shield spell to protect the two of them. Xenk has to keep Simon calm so the spell stays up long enough for owlbear Doric to smash through the rubble.

I mostly imagine this happening pre-Korinn's Keep, in an "older man showing a younger one the ropes" kind of way, but if you want to sell me on a more serious, romantic relationship or set it after the movie I am totally down with that. I'd love to see something casual, friends-with-benefits, or dubcon where they're both okay with it afterwards, and it's fine for them to break up that arrangement before the movie. (If you do set it post-movie, please don't mention Simon and Doric breaking up. I'd rather you just ignore that ship or give them an open relationship.)

I love how Edgin is absolutely convinced of Simon's potential badassery (he has a mental list of all the times Simon's magic worked!) and how he's determined to make Simon believe it too - and this, for some reason, involves touching Simon's face a lot. Simon is awkward and sulky in the face of this, even though he's perfectly willing to trust Edgin and follow his lead in other areas. Would Edgin's charm and confidence carry over to the bedroom, or would he be earnest and vulnerable? Would Simon be anxious about his performance, or more willing to believe Edgin's reassurances? Depending on the situation, maybe Edgin feels too weird about the age difference, and isn't prepared to do more than kiss... until something pushes them into it.

Simon's frustrated by his lack of romantic success and thinks he'd find it easier if he had more experience, so he asks Edgin to help him practise flirting/practise kissing/take his virginity. Or Edgin stumbles on Simon reading an Instructional Manual, and giving him tips turns into some hands-on demonstration.
Edgin tries to wingman for Simon in a tavern, but the more he extols Simon's virtues the more it seems like he shouldn't be trying to fix Simon up with someone else at all...

I love the found family that the party develop over the course of the film, and really want to see Kira and Xenk included in that as they all adventure together. I'm looking for banter, tender feelings, protectiveness, and/or the interplay between everyone's different personalities. Fluff, angst, action-adventure and hurt/comfort are all great!

Domestic life when your home is on the road. Sitting around the campfire, eating, joking, telling ghost stories or stories of past adventures, Edgin singing and the others joining in (or not). Exploring the market in a new town, sampling the local food, drinking in a tavern. Banter, comfortable friendship, soft found family feels.
They get ambushed by a Red Wizard/gnolls/bullywugs/whatever. Roll initiative! The party has to band together to protect each other and get out of there.
Dungeon delving! You don't have to cover the entire quest (unless you want to), I'd be excited for a single scene where they solve a puzzle, overcome a trap, get hopelessly lost and bicker about it, etc. Or maybe they accidentally spring a trap, again. Or they get their hands on the artifact and it doesn't do what they expected!
It's time for Insert Seasonal Festival! Who loves the traditions, who hates them, who's never heard of them? Is it celebrated differently in Triboar than in Thay, among the Elk Tribe compared to the wood elves? Maybe someone eats too much, maybe someone hates the taste of the traditional food. Maybe someone's really good at the traditional game - or really bad at it. Maybe someone's excited to celebrate the day in a new way, or maybe seeing everyone celebrating it in a different way makes them homesick. An excuse for soft fluff, silly shenanigans or a bit of angst.
Or it's someone's birthday! Who is it, how old are they, what presents do they get? Do they love birthdays, do they hate them, have they tried to keep it secret?
Simon's wild magic misfires and causes chaos. You can either pick something from the official list or come up with something suitably comedic/dramatic.
They arrive in a town that has a potato shortage and must go on a Quest to find a potato for Holga.
Edgin knits presents for everyone. They're a bit lumpy, but they're made with love.
Any/all of the magic users trying to teach Kira how to do magic.
Doric sitting on laps as a cat, or providing a big warm bundle to cuddle up to as an owlbear.
The party find out what actually happened to Xenk's family during the Beckoning Death - and how traumatic it was for him - when a spell recreates his worst memory in front of them. Or maybe he magically gets de-aged back into that little boy, and the only thing he remembers from the intervening years is how to speak Common.
One of them gets injured, and the others all show their concern in their own way. Maybe Xenk can heal them quickly - or maybe he's run out of spells for the day, and the group has to keep the injured person comfortable until they can be healed. Or Xenk has been cuffed, and they have to protect the injured person while also escaping from danger.

More of Nicholas cooking for Mia? Maybe she's worrying about losing the crown and can't sleep, so goes to get a midnight snack, and he just happens to want one too - and there's both softness and tension as he prepares and shares something amazing. Or them as an established couple: flirting over a normal breakfast, Nicholas learning Mia's favourite foods, or him going all out with a special romantic dinner.
Dealing with the press or public officials now that Mia's queen. Maybe after the scandal of Mia's broken engagement and being caught sleeping in Nicholas's arms the press are even more interested in all the gossip - and the two of them have to rely on each other during a series of intense "look, we're engaged" press events. Or maybe something fluffier and more humourous, with Nicholas subtly helping to support Mia as she mingles at an event.
Or silly fluff based on Mia's continuing clumsiness. Nicholas seemed amused and forgiving when she stepped on his foot the first time, and when she fell on him climbing down from her window. So more of that: Mia causing minor chaos and Nicholas calmly dealing with it, or maybe a fall results in an intimate position that gets them riled up and means they spend the rest of an event jittering because they're desperate to be alone.
I'd be interested to see how these two and their dynamic play out in other settings: steampunk AU, daemon AU, Hogwarts AU? Regency AU, where the scandal with Nicholas almost ruins her? Or Mia can't convince parliament to change the law and Nicholas has to marry her right then so she can keep the crown? Fantasy AU where they're both competing to be the next leader of a dragonrider battalion? Or a genderswap: how does the plot change if Nicholas is Nicola, and also needs to marry to get the crown?
Presumably they're going to need children to be heirs to the crown, so anything to do with that. Soft fluffy moments during pregnancy as they look forward to their first child - or hurt/comfort where Mia has morning sickness and Nicholas looks after her. The joys of raising their kids together: maybe Nicholas using his skill for accents to read a bedtime story while Mia's heart melts? Or maybe some breeding kink smut, as they prepare to make that baby.
Mia said she's never been in love before, so is she a virgin? Would love to see experienced Nicholas slowly and gently taking her virginity - and being surprised himself at how intense and intimate sex is with a partner he loves. Do they have a short engagement and wait until their wedding night? Or do they decide to take that step before then, once they feel secure in their feelings and trust?
Maybe Mia's rule continues into the bedroom and she enthusiastically, if somewhat awkwardly, doms a happily submissive Nicholas. Or maybe at the end of the day she wants to relax and let him take control, so he doms her instead. Kneeling, collaring, bondage, pegging and swearing of fealty all very welcome. (Or maybe discipline or painplay? I'll be honest: when Nicholas said "you can step on my foot anytime", my brain heard "hurt me, mistress", so...)

An away mission goes wrong and Kirk is injured, but they can't contact the ship. Bones has to treat him without the benefit of proper equipment, and worries about him until they're safe. Or Bones is the one injured, and he has to talk Kirk through treating him.
They get captured by baddies and Bones can only watch as Kirk is tortured, and then tries to comfort him once it's over. In his grumpy Bonesy way, of course.
Kirk gets an alien parasite for which the treatment is uncomfortably intimate: needing to be jerked off, or sounded, or have his prostate milked, etc. They both try to remain professional, but the vulnerability of it brings some feelings to the surface. Bones' terrible bedside manner fully welcome. (Not looking for medical kink, in the sense of the characters explicitly kinking on it, but very happy for the narrative to kink on the situation.)
One or both of them gets hit by sex pollen. Maybe they stoically resist giving in and suffer through the symptoms while comforting each other, or maybe they've both been pining so long that they just jump at each other. I love that Pike was the first one to believe in Kirk - and the one who got Kirk to believe in himself. He finds this young guy losing a bar fight and tells him he can do more, be better, live up to not only his potential but his father's legacy. And Kirk hears that challenge and says no, I'll do even better than that.

But there's a tension between them: Pike encourages Kirk's out-of-the-box thinking and urge for heroics, but also expects him to follow the rules (or at least know which rules to break and when). Kirk wants that approval, wants to excel, but he's used to rebellion and reckless behaviour and is willing to risk more than other people are comfortable with. There's this push and pull where they're trying to find where the line should fall, and maybe that could play into how they are as a couple: not quite sure if their relationship is appropriate or it's going too far, if it's going to make Kirk a better man or screw him up more.

As a captain, Pike seems kind and steady but also willing to make unconventional choices, and he gives Kirk a chance to speak even when he's just stowed away on his ship. Kirk respects him and wants his respect in return but also chafes against the hierarchy of Starfleet. I'd love to see their relationship blossom into more, with Pike being encouraging but maybe also conflicted, and Kirk finding a sense of safety even as he's unsettled by commitment. Or maybe they have to rely on their platonic relationship to get them through a sexual encounter caused by sex pollen or alien demands or an omegaverse heat.

Not looking for daddy kink here but Kirk's daddy issues are welcome. He obviously has some trauma with regards to his father (and presumably his abusive stepfather) and that's part of why he is the way he is. But with everything that happens in space, they probably both have some trauma due to the terrible things they've seen, maybe even PTSD, and that could play into some hurt/comfort.

If you set this during or after Into Darkness please go AU and have Pike live! (No preference for whether you call them Jim/Christopher or Kirk/Pike, use what you prefer.)

An AU where Kirk becomes Pike's first officer, either as canon divergence partway through Into Darkness or for some other reason. I liked the brief bits we saw of them working together in the first film, with Pike listening to Kirk's warning and then taking him off in the shuttle, and Kirk later rescuing Pike. I'd love to see them get to spend more time travelling the universe as direct leader and subordinate, and how their relationship could develop - first professionally, and then romantically. Is there mutual pining, with Pike feeling guilty about the age difference and the potential abuse of power, and Kirk worrying that Pike will never see him that way? Or do they just naturally slide into it? This could be a good opportunity for some hurt/comfort, dramatic action where they protect each other, and/or them showing their respect for each other's intellectual capabilities as they work together on a plan or a diplomatic mission.
Or an AU where Into Darkness never happens and Pike's still around when Kirk is an older, wiser, struggling-with-ennui captain. Does Kirk go to Pike for advice? Do they begin to feel more like equals as Kirk rises up the ranks? Maybe Pike stops thinking of Kirk as too young and starts thinking of himself as too old, and Kirk has to show that his respect for him has only grown. Maybe another meeting in a bar results in a mutual agreement to spend one night together. Maybe a new danger sends Admiral Pike back into space with Kirk, and one of them being injured or having a close call with death results in an admission of feelings?
Kirk somehow time travels back and meets a Pike that's his own age - or maybe a bit younger. They have to work together to prevent some alien plot and/or get Kirk back to his own time, and feelings develop between them. Does Kirk have to hide who he really is, and listen to an oblivious Pike talking about his dissertation? Or does he explain, and then have to deal with everything young Pike projects onto him? It's not clear exactly how old Pike is, so maybe the timeline means that Kirk actually arrives before USS Kelvin is destroyed - and maybe while he's in the past he ropes Pike into preventing it from happening?
Due to sex pollen/omega Kirk going into heat/being captured by aliens who demand they perform some kind of sex ritual, Pike and Kirk have to fuck. Maybe Pike tries to be kind and gentle and protect Kirk through the process, but maybe he also feels guilty about finding pleasure in it. Maybe Kirk thinks he'll be fine because he's slept around so much, but maybe the experience is unsettlingly intimate. Afterwards, maybe they go back to a professional relationship, or maybe having sex stirs up some unexpected feelings and they become a couple - or mutually pine for a romantic relationship.

Maybe Pike tries to stay professional and detached, but can't help becoming emotionally involved - and feeling guilty about it.

I love that Scotty is almost immediately loyal to Kirk, and that Kirk absolutely relies on him to get things done - even when Scotty's already resigned. And Scotty might complain, but he'll still rush to help him. I love how Scotty swings between almost innocent cheerfulness that turns to grumpiness when he feels unappreciated, and the humorous possibilities of that with his charming, flirty, almost reckless captain. Kirk's a good leader, but he's got trauma lurking beneath the surface, and I think Scotty would be kind with that. And they're both brilliant in their own ways.

Scotty loyally following Kirk into a new perilous situation, or performing some arduous task for him, and Kirk showing his appreciation. (Or "appreciation"...)
Kirk fondly complimenting a grumpy Scotty who's feeling ignored - whether they're already a couple, or Kirk secretly has feelings for him.
While stuck on an alien planet, they have to huddle for warmth. Maybe a tension's already been developing between them, and this pushes them over the edge - or maybe the forced proximity itself stirs up new feelings. Especially if they have to cuddle naked.
Scotty gets drunk and starts complimenting Kirk again... a lot. So much that Kirk starts getting suspicious.
They have to share a bed for Reasons, and Kirk has a nightmare. Scotty gently comforts him.
Or one of them gets injured while they're stranded, away from the Enterprise and her doctors, and the other one looks after them, maybe holding them close. Or maybe Kirk is tortured by aliens, and Scotty can only watch - and try to comfort him afterwards?
They're trapped together, on an alien planet or locked in a cell, when one or both of them gets doused with sex pollen. Maybe Scotty's the pollened one, and he's grumpy but apologetic, and Kirk is kind and casual about offering to help. Or maybe Kirk's the one affected, and he doesn't want to ask this of his subordinate - but Scotty insists on it. Or they're both pollened, and they can't keep their hands off each other - and don't regret it afterwards.
Would love some dom/sub for them, whether that echoes their captain/officer roles, or whether they reverse that. Maybe Scotty's eager to take charge and Kirk is happy to give up his burdens for a bit, or maybe Kirk channels his protective instinct into giving a needy Scotty exactly what he desires.

These two doing engineering together was so cute. I love that Jaylah seems both innocent and haunted, a badass fighter but with a talent for science - and Scotty is older and (supposedly) wiser, but he's instantly on the back foot even as he clearly forms a bond with her.

Show me how their relationship develops, as Jaylah gets to experience life in Starfleet and discover there's a whole universe out there. Maybe Scotty keeps his feelings secret, thinking he's too old or that he'd only hold her back, but their early shared interest means Jaylah feels closer to him than anyone else.

Now that she's at the academy, Jaylah keeps Scotty updated on all the things she's learning. Maybe they get the chance to meet up and have a good natter about engineering - and it progresses into something more.
Jaylah's culture has some courtship rituals that Scotty finds somewhat alarming.
Alcohol does absolutely nothing for Jaylah, but when she unexpectedly discovers a common earth food gets her drunk instead, Scotty has to make sure a giggly and uncoordinated Jaylah gets home safe.
When she graduates, Jaylah joins Scotty on the Enterprise and they're caught up in another adventure together. Or just get to enjoy downtime while zooming through space.
Hiding alone on a hostile planet, Jaylah never had the chance to lose her virginity. Now she's ready to have sex - so she turns to Scotty, her first friend and the man she trusts the most. Maybe he's reluctant and only agrees to try some kissing, or giving her some detailed advice, but her enthusiasm for it makes it clear how comfortable she is. Maybe they do the deed and have a great time - and the intimacy of it stirs up some feelings in them both.
I can see Jaylah being quite dominant in bed, as an actual dom to Scotty's sub, or just enjoying pinning him down and riding him. And obviously he's into that too.

I love his earnest enthusiasm, his innocence, and his extreme competency despite his age - and how that fits with Kirk, who's older, more traumatised, and chafes against the rules, but strives to protect his crew. They work so well together, and I really enjoyed how much of Beyond was just the two of them out in the wilds, with a slightly more mature Chekov showing he can handle himself in the field.

Would love to see them as a couple, with Kirk's captainly urges to keep people safe translating into him being soft and tender. Does Chekov's enthusiasm carry over into an excitement to share new experiences, from dates in interesting places, to exploring new sexual possibilities with Kirk? Does Kirk initially try to hide his trauma from his younger partner? Or do they spend ages mutually pining, with both thinking the age gap means the other would never be interested? What finally gets them to confess - a bad injury, dubcon sex, or simply an inability to hold it in any more?

If they're having sex due to a dubcon scenario (e.g. sex pollen, omegaverse heat) you can set it any time after Chekov turns 18, but if they're in a romantic relationship please set it during or after Beyond, i.e. when Chekov is 22 or older.

Is Chekov a virgin? He was such a young cadet that his fellow students probably thought of him as a kid, and that's hard to shake off even now he's an adult because he's still the youngest member of the crew. Maybe Kirk is his first real relationship... and maybe he's Kirk's first real relationship too, as the guy seems to aim for casual. Would love to see Kirk putting that sexual experience to good use when he tenderly takes Chekov's virginity - and is maybe a bit overwhelmed himself at the difference feelings make.
They're stuck on a planet together with no way to beam off, and they get exposed to sex pollen/dragged into ritual sex to appease the aliens/trapped by some forgotten tech that won't let them go until they fuck. Maybe Chekov is nervous or maybe he's trying to be professional about it, and Kirk is gentle as he guides him through it.
Or they get exposed to something that means omega Chekov's suppressants stop working, and now he's going into heat. Do Starfleet regulations allow Chekov to request help from alpha Kirk? Or maybe they frown on it - but when Chekov asks him, Kirk's not going to let him suffer alone. (Or maybe Kirk is the omega, and Chekov is the inexperienced alpha worried he's going to knot him by mistake.)

More of them in an action situation: protecting each other, dodging bullets, parrying strikes, bantering away. Does Tuck ever remember to bring spare ammo? Does one of them knock the other out the way of danger, and they end up lying on top of each other?
I'd love some more of them hanging out, maybe watching a movie, playing video games, or drinking together. But this time there's a mood in the air, and something ends up happening.
Visiting Nana's again! Another family gathering (to which Tuck is, of course, invited) where their feelings for each other simmer until they end up confessing? Or maybe the first time FDR introduces Tuck as his boyfriend?
One of them gets injured, and the other one looks after them. Maybe holding them close, keeping them calm until help arrives - or helping them to walk, so they can get to safety?
Or they're sharing a bed for Reasons, and one of them has a nightmare about something they barely escaped - and the other one comforts them.
Undercover as a couple! They have to pretend to be together, and they think it'll be fine because they're already so comfortable with each other - but kissing feels far more natural than they expect, and they're not sure what to do about that. (Maybe they end up in a situation where they're expected to fuck, and they either try and fake it - or just decide to roll with it, because why not?)
What happened in Bangladesh that resulted in Tuck seeing FDR's cock? Was it hard at the time? And, most importantly, did Tuck touch it?
They both like Sade. They both know it turns FDR into Captain Horny Pants. You see where this is going.
While on a mission, they get dosed with sex pollen - either accidentally, or as a deliberate ploy by the baddies - and now they need to fuck. Have they been pining for ages, and this results in them confessing (but maybe not until afterwards), or does the sex itself stir up unexpected feelings - which they can't ignore?
Or the baddies insist they fuck or die, and they're both comfortable with fucking - but actually doing it, especially while in danger, turns out to be more vulnerable and intimate than they anticipated.
Maybe they have a friends-with-benefits agreement, so they can blow off steam, relax before a tense mission, while away the time when undercover... or just because sex is fun. But maybe feelings develop, and neither wants to be the one who "ruins" it.
Normally in omegaverse I prefer alpha/omega, but I think alpha/alpha would really work for these two - competing with each other, not wanting to back down, scents battling in the air, wrestling to see who tops. They're not built to take a knot, but maybe they'd want to prove they're tough enough to handle it.

Considering Edgin's encouraging, protective ways, I can see him deciding to look after Nicholas - and maybe getting more emotionally involved than he intended. Edgin carries a lot of trauma and guilt, whereas Nicholas less so - despite seemingly being an orphan - but maybe they'd bond over their angst, and over wondering what kind of men they really are - or want to be.

Maybe Edgin heists a magical artifact, and when he picks it up it transports him to Genovia. Maybe he arrives at the palace while Nicholas is staying there, and Nicholas feels the urge to help him get home. Or maybe it's before the movie, and Edgin arrives at the manor where Mabrey (and seemingly Nicholas) lives. And Nicholas helps him - even as Edgin tries to warn an oblivious Nicholas about his uncle, without scaring the young man away.
Or maybe Nicholas discovers some strange object while exploring the palace, and when he touches it he finds himself in a dangerous magical world - but fortunately he runs into Edgin (and the party?) who takes him under his wing and helps him get home.
Maybe Edgin and the gang are partway through some heist or adventure, and Nicholas gets pulled into that too - and is possibly slightly alarmed by their morals. (Or maybe not, considering Mabrey.) Maybe Nicholas looking so similar to Edgin is really useful to their plan?
What about an AU where Genovia is part of Faerun? Maybe at the same time Nicholas is trying to take the crown, Edgin and the gang are literally trying to steal the crown jewels! Perhaps Edgin goes undercover, and develops a soft spot for Nicholas - or the plan goes totally off the rails, and Edgin somehow ends up kidnapping Nicholas? (Who is maybe not all that upset about being separated from his manipulative uncle...)
I'd love it if Nicholas got to see Edgin perform, whether on stage at a tavern, or just by the campfire. Maybe he'd be swept away by the emotions of Edgin's performance? (Maybe Nicholas himself can sing?)
Or Nicholas cooking for Edgin (and the party)! Joe calls him a "gourmet cook" so it'd no doubt be great - unless he encounters some very weird fantastical ingredients, and boggles over them.
Does Edgin have opinions on Nicholas being a lord, and technically royal? What does he think of the plan to make Nicholas king? Is Nicholas's status useful to them somehow - maybe in a magical way?
They have to share a bed for Reasons, and Edgin has a nightmare. Nicholas has to dig into his hidden kindness to comfort him, maybe even as he's unsettled by the role reversal of looking after a man who looks like an older version of him.
Both of them are charming, and Nicholas clearly sleeps around. Maybe Edgin would hesitate due to the age gap, but Nicholas reassures him it'd be no-strings fun. Or maybe they're both just curious about fucking someone who's practically their double - and finding out whether everything is the same, including their responses.
Maybe Nicholas gets hit by sex pollen, and Edgin helps him through it. Maybe it's some frantic, unexpected fun - or maybe Edgin has to be kind and gentle, looking after a Nicholas who's had a lot of sex but is overwhelmed by the strange sensation of the sex pollen rampaging through him.

(Prefer this to happen in an AU where neither of their het romances ever happened, but you don't need to mention Cathy or Lauren at all. Happy for Tuck to appear though - or join in!)

One of them's been captured, and the other one is sent in to get them out - and they develop a bond in the intense situation. Maybe the adrenaline results in a frantic "we lived!" fuck?
They get assigned to work on a case together, and are initially weirded out by the similarities. But the more they get to know each other, the more they feel pulled towards each other.
Maybe FDR instigates some kind of rivalry, to see whether they're both equally skilled at Specific Thing or if one of them is better. Tuck teasing FDR as commentary (or in an attempt to put him off) is very welcome.
They're stuck in a dangerous situation together, undercover or trapped and hiding from baddies, but they need to catch a bit of sleep - and one of them (Jack?) ends up having a nightmare about the trauma they've seen, and the other attempts to comfort them.
Or one of them gets injured, and the other has to help get them to safety, or just look after them until extraction arrives - holding them close, keeping the calm.
Maybe there's a secret, mystical connection between them - and the first time they touch, a soulbond activates. Can they figure out how to break it? (Do they want to?)

Would love to see what happens if they meet: maybe Xenk would be kind and encouraging, guiding lonely Jack, even though Xenk is actually younger. Or maybe a more cheerful post-movie Jack would bring some light into Xenk's life?

Maybe this would be a chaste romance that results in some cuddling or kissing. I headcanon Xenk as being quite repressed, and therefore a virgin, and considering how young Jack was when he died - and then almost nobody being able to see him - he's probably a virgin too. So maybe they'd be hesitant to have sex. But maybe they end up sharing such a deep understanding that they feel comfortable doing that together?

Maybe a new plot by Pitch sends Jack to another world, where he meets a kind, stoic paladin who insists on helping send him home... and possibly helps to defeat Pitch too.
Or Jack's ice powers start growing, and he discovers he can create bridges or portals to other worlds? And while exploring, he bumps into Xenk. Maybe they meet in a tavern or somewhere else relaxed, and are drawn to each other, and end up bonding over their lives.
Or maybe Jack arrives in the middle of a dangerous situation, and helps Xenk to overcome it - or maybe Jack gets into trouble, and Xenk saves him.
Touch-starvation is such a good trope for both of these guys. Maybe they could hesitantly help each other with that - with gentle touches, holding hands, or some cuddles that are almost overwhelming.

(On Steve's side, please set it before he meets Diana!)

Maybe Steve gets knocked out by an explosion and wakes up in the far future and/or on an alien planet. Surely it must be a dream, especially as there's a guy who looks exactly like him, but it feels so very real...
Kirk somehow travels back to World War I, and ends up helping Steve with a mission before he finds a way home. Action, danger, protecting each other, and attraction developing.
Or Kirk ends up in World War I - and Steve thinks their similarity is some kind of trick, and assumes Kirk is there to steal his intel, confuse his contacts, or even replace him entirely. Kirk has to convince him otherwise.
Maybe due to the time he lives in, Steve's never really considered the possibility of attraction to another man. Or maybe he's experienced it, but didn't recognise it - or didn't view it as something that could ever be acted upon. But now Kirk is flirting with him, and he doesn't have a good argument for holding back...

I'd love to see these two together. Charming, flirty, almost reckless leader Kirk and kind, stoic, literal-minded Xenk. They both lost family members in traumatic ways as children, so maybe they would bond over that.

Maybe this happens with a background of Xenk pining after Edgin, and being conflicted about his responses to a man who looks so similar yet behaves so differently. I can see Kirk being the one to get a repressed Xenk to believe he's allowed to have feelings, and they have a little dalliance - and then Kirk sends Xenk home with the courage to confess to Edgin. Or maybe Xenk hasn't developed any feelings for Edgin yet - or maybe not even met him.

Maybe, if the situation isn't resolved immediately, Kirk asks Xenk to join his plan - and Xenk naturally agrees, giving them a chance to grow closer.
Maybe they have to share a bed for Reasons, and one of them ends up having a nightmare - and the other one gently comforts them.
Or maybe one of them is injured, and the other one has to look after them. Maybe Xenk can heal Kirk, and Kirk is amazed by that - or maybe Xenk's run out of magic, or been cuffed, and he holds Kirk close until he can heal him. Or Kirk is the one holding injured Xenk until his magic comes back.
I tend to imagine Xenk as a repressed virgin, so maybe they wouldn't fall into bed together even if they confess feelings to each other. But maybe something like sex pollen would force a nervous Xenk to rely on Kirk, who'd kindly guide him through it, reassuring him and trying to make it a positive experience.

I'd love to see what happens when these two meet. Xenk is so kind, but also stoic and takes everything literally. Maybe it'd take some urging from Nicholas to get Xenk to open up, or maybe it'd happen naturally if they spent a while together. But with Xenk's traumatic past and Nicholas's family angst, I can see something sweet developing that helps lift both of them up.

Not a detailed idea, but I'm very into it!

Maybe Forge finally manages to escape Revel's End by crossing dimensions to Earth... and appears in prison with Phoenix. Whoops.
Or maybe an AU where Phoenix has always lived in Faerun. (Talking bears would fit right in!) Maybe Forge sees Phoenix perform, or they meet in a tavern, and the two of them quickly bond - or Forge targets Phoenix for a con, but the guy turns out to be trickier than he expected, and then attraction gets involved...
They decide to run some kind of con or scheme together. Maybe their styles and skills blend effortlessly, and the whole thing goes perfectly. (And then they celebrate with a kiss. Or more.) Or maybe they keep pulling in different directions, bickering, and thwarting each other - until their annoyance results in one of them kissing the other. Or maybe Paddington, or Edgin's crew, or Xenk, are the ones to stop them.
Or some isekai-type scenario, where one of them gets booted into the other's body for Reasons, and now they're fighting for control of it, rabbiting away to each other in their mind... and maybe sharing some very real-feeling dreams where they can see each other - and touch each other.

I'm imagining this would happen via a timeslip: one of them touches an object or just walks around a corner and finds themselves 200 years in the past/future. Maybe it happens at the palace in Genovia, while Nicholas is staying there - maybe Simon is travelling the continent? Or maybe Nicholas is visiting White's? Or anywhere you think they could reasonably both happen to be.

If Nicholas gets sent to the past: Regency outfits! Balls and parties! Scandalous gossip in atmospheric settings! Nicholas initially sticks out like a sore thumb, and maybe Simon sasses him a bit - then helps him fit in. Maybe teaches him how to dance? (Or, I'm not entirely sure the timeline of this works out, but maybe Nicholas's ancestor King Chevalier is on the throne? Maybe Simon helps Nicholas meet him - or they discover a plot they have to thwart.)
Maybe they go drinking together and Nicholas starts talking about his manipulative uncle - and Simon opens up about his terrible father? Or maybe Simon keeps it bottled up, internally brooding, and just offers Nicholas advice while angsting away?
Simon went to Oxford and Nicholas went to Cambridge. Does this result in a friendly rivalry and some teasing?
Maybe being out of one's time has a negative effect, like slowly increasing pain, and the timelost one needs the other's help to get back home. (Maybe the timelost one collapses and the other one catches them.)
Totally down for some filthy smut here. Maybe Simon's never been with a man because Britain's anti-sodomy laws are so severe, but maybe Genovia never had them - and Nicholas's time certainly doesn't. So when he has the opportunity for some no-strings, no-danger sex with an attractive guy, Simon jumps at the chance.

George got to show off her tech skills when helping Bess, but didn't get as much of a chance to shine during the main mystery. Would love to see her have a moment in the spotlight, sleuthing and being a badass - maybe when Helen is in danger, or captured. (You don't have to create a whole case, the rest of the mystery can just be implied - unless you love doing that, of course.)
Does "traitor cake" become an injoke? Do they have traitor dates? Traitor handholding? Traitor kisses?
Or maybe they try to bake a cheesecake themselves - and just end up messy and giggling.
Their latest bit of sleuthing means they're now stuck in the middle of nowhere, and even when they find shelter it's so cold that they have to cuddle for warmth. But they both end up hoping Nancy doesn't rescue them too quickly.

Obviously the natural trajectory of enemies to friends is for that to progress to dating, right? Even when they were in weird frenemy limbo Nancy still went hard - charging after the "ghost" to save Helen... oh, and then safely shutting her in a closet? Not symbolic at all. I loved their tender moment when they were in the car, and it'd be great to see them learning to be vulnerable together.

You can age them up if you want but I DNW smut whatever their ages. If they're over 18, I'm fine with fade-to-black. Mainly I want a cute teen romance with kissing and handholding - and a side of solving mysteries.

A game of truth or dare ends up revealing more than they expect.
Nancy tries to teach Helen how to skateboard - but Helen's lack of skill means she falls right off... into Nancy's arms.
When Helen is sick, Nancy insists on being her annoyingly cheerful caretaker.

After the first ten minutes of this film I honestly wondered if they were going to be canon. Bess grabbing Nancy's face - and Nancy trying to lick her hand? Nancy calling Bess "super cute"? Bess catching Nancy's hand, telling her nobody's stuck up for her like that before, then flinging her arms around her? Uh, yeah. How could I not ship it.

Would love to see them as a couple, whether they're just getting together or they're a comfortable established relationship. Nancy encouraging Bess to see the best in herself, and Bess blossoming as she gains confidence.
