It's almost a miracle they finally managed to get together, but I was so happy they did. They're just utter dorks, separately and together, enthusiastically supporting each other and blundering through their romance. I want all the good things for them.

You can set this any time from them first getting together to post-season two. Obviously, in the season finale, they decided to take roles that would physically separate them - you can show me their meetings during that period, or skip ahead to when they're working in the same place again, whether that's on the new planet or back on Ark-1 or wherever. Fluff would be great, but so would smut, or some hurt/comfort.

Soft fluff of them being cute together on board Ark-1: holding hands as they eat in the mess, giggling as they sneak kisses in the corridors, maybe Angus eagerly showing Alicia all the vibrant plants in the dome. Just any of the sweet moments in their daily lives.
Or maybe some domestic fluff once they're both happily settled on the new planet, even living together. Cuddling on the sofa together, choosing or arranging their furniture, changing the sheets, cooking meals together, maybe setting up a nursery for their first child. Dramatic scifi events occur again, they both get trapped by a cave in - and one of them is injured. The other one gently tries to comfort them until they're rescued.
Or zany scifi events occur, and now they've accidentally swapped bodies! Or have developed a telepathic link! Or they get magically handcuffed together! I'd love to see them lean on their trust and intimacy in the face of some wacky shenanigans... even if they struggle a little too.
Their first time seems like it was pretty awkward, and I'd love more detail about that. Did Angus come too fast? Did Alicia find the stretch uncomfortable? Did they struggle to find the right position, end up in a messy tangle of legs and nearly fall off the bed? All the realism and awkward sweetness would be great.
But I'd also love some smut once they're more experienced, and are more confident in giving each other pleasure. They're both nerds, so maybe get quite intense about their, uh, studies and experiments.
Do they experiment with kink too? Again, a bit of fail and awkward realism is welcome here, as long as nobody gets hurt and they mostly enjoy themselves. Maybe they try wall sex and Angus isn't strong enough to hold Alicia up, and they have to swap to desk sex. Does Alicia ask Angus to dom her, but he isn't really sure how? Maybe she enthusiastically takes to domming, but he doesn't immediately take to subbing either. Does practising bondage result in an hour of exactly following a complicated diagram from a manual and not much sex? These two have such a complicated, interesting relationship. I love the tension of them being enemies: murderous, untrustworthy Kelly encroaching on clever, innocent Alicia. Obviously in canon that's driven by their competition over Angus - but I'd rather the focus here was on Kelly having a personal interest in/attraction to Alicia. (Feel free to ignore the Angus ships altogether, but I'm also fine with that still being a background influence.) This could involve complicated feelings, a dubcon scenario, or Kelly outright nonconning Alicia.

But I also love Kelly's redemption arc, and how sweet these two become because of it! Angsty, repentant Kelly and brilliant, earnest Alicia are such a great combo. I love how intensely protective of each other they become - and how they almost seem surprised by themselves, even as they just keep putting themselves in danger for each other's sake. There's a fierce bond there, and neither seems to know where it comes from. Conclusion: sapphic reasons. So I'd love to see them as a couple, whether getting together or established relationship, whether the vibe is angsty or smutty or hurt/comfort or pure fluff.

These two have such an interesting relationship: best friends living the high life together, but with the fucked up undercurrent of all the secrets Bunny is keeping. Alice is clever and determined, but relaxes most with Bunny - and when her suspicions grow it's not Jack she confides in, but her best friend. Bunny is charming and acerbic, drawing Alice away from the others as they gossip, but under that she's hiding the angst of all she's lost. To keep the illusion going, she must have lied to Alice so many times - but in the end Bunny is the one who warns Alice to flee.

I've always seen a frisson between them, laughing and drinking and partying together, and Alice jokes that Bunny playing tennis without spilling her cocktail is "quite possibly the sexiest thing I've ever seen" - what if it wasn't entirely a joke? I'm fine with them cheating on Jack and Dean, but I can also imagine their husbands giving them permission - after all, Victory is a male fantasy. But maybe Alice and Bunny find a way to reclaim their relationship for themselves? Could just be casual sex, but maybe it turns more serious, especially as the darkness of Victory rears its head. In many ways the two of them feel separate from the other wives, so maybe there'd be an intimacy and a trust there - or angst over Bunny's betrayal.

A party game of truth or dare, spin the bottle, or some teasing from their husbands, results in Bunny kissing Alice. But afterwards Alice can't forget the feeling of Bunny's lips against hers, or the fantasies of repeating it...

Once Alice escaped she went to the police and now Victory has been shut down. She stumbles into Bunny, who's trying to adjust to life back in the real world - and deal with all she's lost. But Alice's attempts to comfort her old friend take an unexpected turn when they end up kissing...
After a visit to the pool, they squeeze into the same booth to change out of their swimsuits.
During a wild night of drinking, dancing and giggling, Alice and Bunny find themselves stumbling into bed together, and end up having a great time.

Alice Chambers/Frank Carlson

I loved the mindfuckery aspects of this film, and Frank was so compellingly creepy that I both wanted to run away and couldn't take my eyes off him. Their intellectual rivalry and mind games, with Frank daring Alice to work out what's really going on, sparked such good chemistry between them, and I'd love to see more in that vein - or maybe Frank alters Alice's memory to keep her unknowing and compliant. If you want to do smut, I'm happy for it to be anywhere from noncon to dubcon to fully consensual (if maybe conflicted and/or filled with shame).

I'm fine with a missing scene, with canon divergence (Frank lives and Alice gets caught; Shelley escapes instead of Alice; Alice goes for a final showdown with Frank; etc) or with setting change AUs (it's the 1950s for real and Victory is developing a mind serum; Victory is a cult; Frank and Alice are teacher/student in the modern area, or at a magic academy, or in space; etc).

Considering the nature of the relationships in this canon, I have no problem with either Alice or Frank "cheating" on their partners. Also happy for Alice/Jack and Frank/Shelley to be happening in the background. Jack can be alive or dead (or you can kill him off again, if you're doing an AU) but if Shelley exists I want her to survive. (Maybe Shelley escapes instead, and Frank decides to claim Alice in her place?)

Narrative Prompts

Frank catches Alice alone at a party, and as they talk the tension rises until he's kissing her up against the wall. Maybe he lets her go after teasing her - but not before calling her a "good girl" again.
The next time Alice breaks through the brainwashing, she realises Frank has been wiping her memory over and over. But the more good memories she builds with him, the harder it is to keep hold of the bad ones.
Is there such a thing as hurt/non-consensual comfort? Maybe Alice goes for a final confrontation with Frank - but she's injured, and he overpowers her. And then he insists on caring for her: bandaging her wounds, holding her close, brushing her hair from her face, kissing her forehead, gently touching her, or murmuring that everything's going to be alright... just looking after her in a way that's both soft and creepy, and which Alice doesn't want but can't refuse.
Not strictly a prompt in itself, but definitely something you could work into another prompt: worldbuilding! I have so many questions about Victory and how it works. Did Frank code the software, design the hardware, or both? What was causing the tremors? Was the crashing plane part of the simulation, or just in Alice's head? We know that the children aren't real, so who else is just a programme - the bus driver, the shop assistants, Frank's henchmen in red? How much control does Frank have over Alice's memories? Feel free to play with the inner workings of Victory, for shippy reasons or otherwise.
Frank has found a way to reveal soulmate marks in a world that never had them... or maybe he's actually found a way to forcibly create - or overwrite - a soulbond that didn't exist. Once Jack is gone, Frank tears apart her bond with him and forces Alice to be his soulmate instead.
When Jack encourages Alice to join him on these new personal development courses he's got into, it seems harmless enough. But Frank, the leader of Victory Mindset, singles Alice out and tells her she has real potential. Alice slowly gets drawn into the spider's web, and by the time she realises just how dangerous and unhealthy Frank's methods for "helping" his followers are she's in so deep that getting out won't be easy... Or maybe, despite the unsettling feeling inside her, Alice never manages to see through Frank's mask at all.
Alice was growing tired of Jack, but these days it's hard to remember why - he seems so magnetic now, and it's hard to question things when she's so much more tired than she used to be. She keeps waking up with two strange marks on her neck. And Jack's new friend Frank seems to have a power over him - and her - that she can't really explain. There's something about Frank's hypnotic eyes, and the way he looks at her like he wants to devour her...
Frank is the headmaster of a college that teaches sex magic. Did she always know what Victory is? Maybe she even helped build it. Did Frank ever mess with her memory? What pushed her to take out Frank and wrest control - and what does she plan to do now? And how might Alice figure in those plans? Does Shelley think of Alice as a rival, an ally, even a scapegoat? Would Alice trust Shelley more than she trusted Frank - and should she? I just think Alice and Shelley could have a juicy, complicated, intense and/or fucked up relationship and I'd love to see it.

I'm fine with one or both of them cheating on their husbands, although I can also imagine Frank giving Shelley permission to use seduction to keep the wives in line. If you want to do smut, consensual or dubcon is welcome. Could be a missing scene or post-canon, or some kind of canon divergence AU, and I'm fine with both Jack and Frank's canon deaths here.

Maybe Shelley's happy for the world to know what Frank did - and the new utopia she's offering. Would she make Alice an offer, asking her to support the new Victory, even to return as an honoured guest? And should Alice trust that offer?
Maybe a post-canon meeting results in hate sex in the real world - or maybe a tense moment at a party turned into some frustrated, frenzied making out in the bathroom in a missing scene.
Before they escalate to wiping Alice's mind again, Frank sends Shelley to manipulate her back into good behaviour. And if that involves some tantalising dubcon, well, Shelley won't complain. Not with a wife as pretty as Alice...

We don't really get any focused moments between these two in the film, but Doric actually seems like the least hostile to Xenk from the beginning - ironic considering her stance on humans started as "hateful and selfish" and "just can't help but lie"... but then Xenk and his ridiculous paladin goodness are so obviously the opposite of that! If Xenk joined the party for further adventures, I like to imagine they'd become good friends, and then fall in love (maybe after mutually pining). Does she no longer trust her own assessment of people? Does Xenk have to work hard to reassure her... or is his innate goodness so incredibly obvious that actually she trusts him quite quickly?

She already has two mothers, a father, and had an "uncle", so I don't really see her being upset by him joining the family. But is he surprised the first time she hugs him? How long before he feels comfortable giving her a kiss on the forehead? What does she go to him for advice about? Is he the "strict" parent? Or, having not known her as a young child, is he more ready to give her responsibility appropriate to her age than Edgin and Holga, who maybe haven't quite accepted she's growing up? Or just some adorable domestic fluff about a normal day at the cottage in Targos.

I love how soft Simon gets around Doric and I'd love to see her showing a softer side to him in return. (I do love Doric's spikiness though.) And I love that over the course of the film, she was very interested every time Simon's competency was shown or discussed - she was always into him, she just had this one dealbreaker, and then he fixed it! (Well, maybe he didn't entirely fix it: I love Simon having more confidence, but it might be nice to see him struggle a little - with Doric encouraging him, now she's convinced of his capability.) Does Doric have a competency kink?

Both of them have angsty pasts: Doric as a tiefling rejected by her parents, who's visibly an outsider wherever she goes; Simon as a sorcerer trying to live up to his family's long legacy of wizardry. Plus, as a half-elf, wherever he was raised, he was probably too human for the elves and too elven for the humans. As they get to know each other better, it'd be great to see them open up to each other about these things.

I loved the awkward, tender, intimate relationship these two developed. They're both outsiders, both struggling with their families and their queer identities, and in the liminal space of late night TV they found a place where they could reveal their secrets and see themselves/each other in ways nobody else could. Despite the horror of the outside world, they found a softness and a hope together, even if it didn't last.

I'm interested in both "they really are Tara and Isabel, trapped in the Midnight Realm" and "the Pink Opaque isn't real; all of the strange happenings are caused by the mental strain of suppressing their queer identities" interpretations. I'd love a missing scene when they were teenagers, or canon divergence where Owen chooses to "wake up" (in whatever sense), and I'm fine with you fucking with the timeline or using unreliable narration even if it's a fluffier work. (Especially to make Owen an adult before Maddy leaves, as I DNW underage sex.)

As Maddy is a lesbian, I'd prefer Owen to be transfem, genderqueer or nonbinary - but it's fine if that's implied or ambiguous. (Also fine for it to be an ambiguous relationship or pre-relationship.) She/her or they/them is fine, even pre-transition. He/him also fine before Owen realises/accepts, or for that realisation/acceptance not to happen before the end of the work. It'd be great to see her continue to grow. They were so cute and had such fun chemistry even when they were friends - and were so supportive and eager to help each other even before they realised they'd switched luck. I'd love to see them supporting each other through the struggles of daily life, as well as just generally being sweet and happy together. (And I'm fine with their bad luck being used for humour - or drama! - as long as the results aren't permanent/catastrophic.)

Elizabeth is resigned to her duty, striding into her new life despite the flicker of fear over physical intimacy - and when she discovers that sex is off the table, it gives her space to fall in love with him.

I love the quiet, sometimes awkward moments of daily life, encountering each other in corridors and repeatedly saying goodnight - as well as Elizabeth developing a strong bond with Marjorie. But I also love the bolder, more political moments, from the ceremonies to Elizabeth displaying her political nouse and swearing herself to him. They match each other on every level - ruling together, laughing together, supporting each other's needs, whether big or small - and their love is deep and genuine. I was so pleased that she was the one to invite him to bed, and that he waited for her without question, resulting in a tender and passionate consummation. And I love that - despite her being a determined, intelligent queen and him being a complex, canny leader capable of brutality - when they're laughing and kissing they feel more like awkward, earnest teenage lovers embarking on innocent first love. If you want to try and capture all those nuances, you're very welcome to - but I'd be happy with something that highlights just one aspect, whether fluffy or dramatic or smutty.

You're very welcome to include Marjorie, or their other historical children, as well as references to Robert's relationship with his first wife. Also, don't feel you need to be historically accurate at all - the film clearly isn't! If you do happen to know about the period, feel free to use that knowledge to expand on the film, though please don't change anything established by the movie. This is such a great example of enemies to lovers. I love that they're kind and flirty at their first meeting, because they're immediately attracted to each other, and that even once they're enemies they can't hide that sexual tension. But their enmity is based on both seeking something only one of them can have rather than ideological differences: Nicholas seems more motivated by whether Mia's going to be a good queen and whether she really knows Genovia (and by his uncle's influence), and not a personal hunger for power. So once he's convinced of her capability (and she of his sincerity) and he gives up his claim to the crown, there's no question about whether they'd be able to find common ground.

I love both the push-and-pull of Nicholas flirting and Mia trying to resist (in the closet, by the fountain, the deleted scene in the kitchen) as well as them being soft and friendly with each other: Nicholas supporting Mia by helping with her archery, and the night they spend together before her wedding where we see them opening up emotionally, dancing close, and falling asleep in each other's arms. So I'd love a post-canon continuation of that as their relationship develops, or is fully established, or a missing scene while Nicholas is still living at the palace and they keep running into each other. Or maybe an AU?

I liked Andrew as a character so no bashing of him please, and it's fine to have Mia/Andrew's unromantic engagement happening in the background or to show them amicably breaking up. Presumably they're going to need children to be heirs to the crown, so anything to do with that. Soft fluffy moments during pregnancy as they look forward to their first child - or hurt/comfort where Mia has morning sickness and Nicholas looks after her. The joys of raising their kids together: maybe Nicholas using his skill for accents to read a bedtime story while Mia's heart melts? Or maybe some breeding kink smut, as they prepare to make that baby.
Mia said she's never been in love before, so is she a virgin?
