These two are both traumatised and both weighed down by duty in different ways - Simon, determined to keep the angry vow made to his terrible father, and Anthony, trying to shepherd the loving family he became head of far too young. Simon has a sharp tongue that rears up when he's hurting, but Anthony knows him better than almost anyone. Though there's sometimes tension between them, they have an understanding and an easy rapport that underpins their intimate bond.

Considering the era, maybe there's a current of repressed sexual tension between them - or maybe they've already started a secret relationship. Maybe they pine for years, maybe they're friends with benefits who want more, maybe they're a committed couple but dealing with the angst of keeping their love hidden. Could be during their Oxford days, when they're both rakes about town, or a no-wives AU, but I'd really like them to peel back their manly reserve to allow a little softness through. Feel free to include platonic interactions with the other Bridgertons or Lady Danbury too.

• Were they roommates at Oxford? Did they study together - and did those study sessions turn into something else? Or was it more late nights, getting drunk together, then waking up together?
  
• Angsty mutual pining, both of them fearful of revealing their feelings in case the other doesn't reciprocate - or in case it has social consequences for them.
  
• Comfortable banter as they drink together, at their club or in private, just enjoying being with each other.
  
• Or banter that turns to bickering - maybe even turns to another fight, both of them thrumming with repressed longing for another kind of physical touch.
  
• A late night drinking session leads to their first kiss.

• While they're sharing a bed, one of them has a nightmare (about his father?), and the other one comforts him.
  
• Their sexual tension boils over into guilty frotting - and maybe neither of them mentions it afterwards. (Until it happens again?)
  
• Or maybe, being rakes, they happily explore pleasure together - even if they know it's a secret they'll have to hide forever.
  
• Omega Simon tries to hide his status, ashamed of how his father rejected him, until he unexpectedly goes into heat and begs alpha Anthony for help. Or maybe it's omega Anthony who goes into heat, his usual insistence that being an omega has no impact on being a viscount faltering as he desperately urges alpha Simon to fuck him.
  
• Or maybe they're both alphas, wrestling for dominance as their scents clash, until one submits and the other knots him?

Diana Prince/Steve Trevor

I love that they're both competent, but that Diana really got to shine as a badass - and that Steve, despite the attitudes of his time period, was impressed by her. Diana is so determined and forthright, but the culture clash and her mostly-theoretical knowledge means she starts off quite naive and has to learn how to deal with the complexities of the wider world. Steve is trying hard to be a good man and make a difference, but he's clearly seen terrible things during the war and he has to be haunted by them.

They make such a good team, both as adventurers and as a couple, and I'd love to see them in a happy established relationship. (Okay, angst is fine too. Especially if it results in hurt/comfort!) Feel free to do a canon divergence AU where Steve survives the first film, or else find some other way for them to be together and stay together. (Or just not explain how these two are back together, beyond the fact that they ought to be, damnit.)

• Maybe they unknowingly formed a soulbond, and it means Steve can't die. Maybe he lives - but loses his memory? But the soulbond is still there, and draws them back together again. Or maybe he still has his memories, but now they're starting to hear each other's thoughts or feel each other's feelings and they have to learn to deal with that.
  
• Or maybe Steve gets reincarnated and Diana has to find him again. Is he haunted by dreams that feel so real - almost like memories? Is she feeling this strange new pull towards a place she's never been, or a person she's never met - but who feels so familiar, for reasons she doesn't understand?
  
• Steve survived, maybe with injuries that are still healing, but even with the war over there are new enemies and dangers on the horizon. The two of them have to set out to save the world again, while navigating their new relationship. Maybe with Etta along for the ride?
  
• Soft fluffy moments, once the world is saved. Cuddling, gentle kisses, being adorably domestic together...
  
• Maybe they even decide to have kids together. Does Steve get all soft and protective over pregnant Diana - or does he despair of her insistence on still wading into battle? Maybe some fluff once the baby arrives, with them both caring for it? Humour as the kid gets older and starts causing chaos? (Does the kid inherit any of Diana's powers?) Or some hurt/comfort, dealing with the exhaustion and stress together - or during Diana's pregnancy, if she gets morning sickness or something.
  
• Anything where Diana's kicking ass and taking names, and Steve is thoroughly appreciating it - maybe he even has a competence kink, and gets so riled up by watching her lay waste to the baddies that they have a frantic fuck in the aftermath?
  
• All the tropey and kinky uses of the lasso of truth. Seeing who can last the longest before blurting out "I love you"? Bondage rope to tie Steve up? Just kinking on the weirdly intense feeling caused by the lasso? Yeah.
  
• Show me that night in Veld. Obviously Diana had never been with a man before; had she ever been with anyone? And considering the time period, despite being a flirty spy Steve might not be that experienced either.
  
• Diana absolutely domming the shit out of Steve. Maybe he's initially reluctant to agree, but the idea makes him weak at the knees and he ends up begging for it - in all kinds of ways. Feel free to include bondage, collaring, and/or kneeling, or just show me them kinking on the giving and following of orders.
  
• They hadn't quite perfected suppressants then, so omega Steve has always had to suffer through half-suppressed heats. Maybe the first time alpha Diana sees him have one, they aren't together yet, and she just holds him through it without them fucking. Or maybe it happens when they're a couple, and she gives him what he needs.

Alice Chambers/Frank Carlson

I loved the mindfuckery aspects of this film, and Frank was so compellingly creepy that I both wanted to run away and couldn't take my eyes off him. Their intellectual rivalry and mind games, with Frank daring Alice to work out what's really going on, sparked such good chemistry between them, and I'd love to see more in that vein - or maybe Frank alters Alice's memory to keep her unknowing and compliant. If you want to do smut, I'm happy for it to be anywhere from noncon to dubcon to fully consensual (if maybe conflicted and/or filled with shame).

I'm fine with missing scenes, with canon divergence (Frank lives and Alice gets caught; Shelley escapes instead of Alice; Alice goes for a final showdown with Frank; etc) or with setting change AUs (it's the 1950s for real and Victory is developing a mind serum; Victory is a cult; Frank and Alice are teacher/student in the modern area, or at a magic academy, or in space; etc).

Considering the nature of the relationships in this canon, I have no problem with either Alice or Frank "cheating" on their partners, and I'm fine with both Jack/Alice and Frank/Shelley in the background. Jack can be alive or dead - or you can kill him off again, if you're doing an AU - but if Shelley exists I want her to survive. (Maybe Shelley escapes instead, and Frank decides to claim Alice in her place?)

• Every time they meet at a party, Frank gets a little closer to Alice - both as a friend, and physically invading her personal space. Maybe she feels guilty about the way his proximity lights a fire inside her, but Jack keeps encouraging more between them. Maybe before she begins to suspect him - or even after they start their cat-and-mouse game - Alice is more receptive to Frank's advances, and he slowly melts her reluctance over several encounters... until he kisses her, and she kisses him back. Or more.
  
• The next time Alice breaks through the brainwashing, she realises Frank has been wiping her memory over and over. But the more good memories she builds with him, the harder it is to keep hold of the bad ones.
  
• Is there such a thing as hurt/non-consensual comfort? Maybe Alice goes for a final confrontation with Frank - but she's injured, and he overpowers her. And then he insists on caring for her: bandaging her wounds, holding her close, brushing her hair from her face, kissing her forehead, gently touching her, or murmuring that everything's going to be alright... just looking after her in a way that's both soft and creepy, and which Alice doesn't want but can't refuse.
  
• Not strictly a prompt in itself, but definitely something you could work into another prompt: worldbuilding! I have so many questions about Victory and how it works. Did Frank code the software, design the hardware, or both? What was causing the tremors? Was the crashing plane part of the simulation, or just in Alice's head? We know that the children aren't real, so who else is just a programme - the bus driver, the shop assistants, Frank's henchmen in red? How much control does Frank have over Alice's memories? Feel free to play with the inner workings of Victory, for shippy reasons or otherwise.
  
• Frank has found a way to reveal soulmate marks in a world that never had them... or maybe he's actually found a way to forcibly create - or overwrite - a soulbond that didn't exist. Once Jack is gone, Frank tears apart her bond with him and forces Alice to be his soulmate instead.
  
• When Jack encourages Alice to join him on these new personal development courses he's got into, it seems harmless enough. But Frank, the leader of Victory Mindset, singles Alice out and tells her she has real potential. Alice slowly gets drawn into the spider's web, and by the time she realises just how dangerous and unhealthy Frank's methods for "helping" his followers are, she's in so deep that escaping his cult won't be easy... Or maybe, despite the unsettling feeling inside her, Alice never manages to see through Frank's mask at all.
  
• Alice was growing tired of Jack, but these days it's hard to remember why - he seems so magnetic now, and it's hard to question things when she's so much more tired than she used to be. She keeps waking up with two strange marks on her neck. And Jack's new friend Frank seems to have a power over him - and her - that she can't really explain. There's something about Frank's hypnotic eyes, and the way he looks at her like he wants to devour her...
  
• Frank is the headmaster of a college that teaches sex magic. Alice gets along with her partner Jack, but she can't help but be flattered by Frank taking a special interest in her - and suspicious about the costs and ultimate goals of the intimate magic he's teaching. Maybe Frank offers some personal tuition, tells Alice she's in danger of failing out, and/or asks for her help with a special spell. Maybe Alice discovers a dark truth at the heart of the college, but has to play along while she collects the evidence to prove it.
  
• A glitch in Victory's software has a sex pollen-like effect. And these two just happen to be in close proximity when it hits them.
  
• Frank tweaks Victory's software so that he and Alice can feel each other's pleasure, or hear each other's thoughts... or even so that he can control Alice's arousal directly, maybe even make her orgasm with the press of a button.
  
• Omega Alice goes into heat, and with Jack away (or dead) she needs help from alpha Frank to get her through it. But being knotted by him is way more intimate than she bargained for.
  
• Alice never manages to escape, instead ending up as Frank's prisoner. Maybe he brainwashes her into being his new wife, taking a special thrill in her so happily sharing a bed with him. Maybe he lets her keep her memories, but locks her up - does he slowly break down her will until she gives in to her attraction? Or does Frank simply take what he wants? Whether he pins her down, ties her up, manhandles her against a wall, or quietly threatens Alice before gently nonconning her, he's going to force her to enjoy it.

Doric/Xenk Yendar

We don't really get any focused moments between these two in the film, but Doric actually seems like the least hostile to Xenk from the beginning - ironic considering her stance on humans started as "hateful and selfish" and "just can't help but lie"... but then Xenk and his ridiculous paladin goodness are so obviously the opposite of that! If Xenk joined the party for further adventures, I like to imagine they'd become good friends.

I'd love to see these two embarking on a hesitant romantic relationship, or just hooking up - indulging in some consensual casual sex or helping each other through a dubcon scenario. I headcanon Xenk as a virgin, and Doric could easily be one too - but maybe she has a bit of experience. Or maybe, if it's dubcon, Xenk is the experienced one gently looking after her.

(Please don't mention Simon and Doric breaking up. I'd rather you give them an open relationship, make it an AU where they were never into each other, or just ignore that ship altogether.)

• Doric gets injured and tries to remain stoic as Xenk heals her, even though he has to press his hands to her bare skin. Or Xenk gets injured, and can't heal himself - but Doric knows a natural remedy, and the plant grows in this area. Maybe the intimacy of the healing sparks a frisson between them, and results in a kiss.
  
• Or maybe Doric's injury results in her collapsing, and Xenk catches her before she hits the ground. And the way he's holding her close, looking at her with such concern, sets her heart pounding...
  
• Huddling for warmth in a cold cave, a snowed-in cabin, locked in a cell together, etc results in them kissing. Maybe Xenk is too repressed to do more, even though Doric's up for it. Maybe he'll agree to skin-to-skin contact, but only because tieflings have a naturally higher body temp. Or maybe Doric convinces him that some casual sex is the best way to keep warm, and they both have a great time.
  
• While adventuring away from the others, they discover a magical grove that's slowly being corrupted. Both of them are eager to cleanse it, but then its guardians explain that the ritual magic would require the two of them to have sex.
  
• One or both of them gets hit by sex pollen, and there's nobody else around to help. Maybe Doric is practical and sees no reason not to have some fun together. Maybe Xenk is conflicted, wanting to help - or needing help himself - but reluctant to open up to her. But in the end he's too kind, or too desperate, to actually refuse it... even if he's a virgin.
  
• Omega Doric goes into heat and asks alpha Xenk to help her through it. Maybe he's a virgin and nervous about being so intimate - but he can't bear to see her suffering. Or maybe the sexual tension between them isn't enough to overcome the intimacy issues they both have, so he just holds her close so she can inhale his alpha scent.

Edgin Darvis/Doric

While trying to recruit her, Edgin was definitely using all his charm (although not in a sexual way) but Doric seemed utterly immune to it. I loved the tender moment when Edgin was sitting on the rock on the beach: his little smile as she walked over, the way she gently patted his shoulder and he patted hers in return, and she smiled back. Maybe his charm would be more welcome now they have a genuine connection, or maybe she'd be the one to instigate it.

I'd love to see something fun and casual between them, some hesitant romantic feelings, or some dubcon (sex pollen, fuck-or-die, omegaverse heat, etc) where they look after each other and have no regrets after. Maybe Edgin would be a little worried about the age difference, but Doric is so blunt and practical that she wouldn't quietly do something she was uncomfortable with.

(Please don't mention Simon and Doric breaking up. I'd rather you give them an open relationship, make it an AU where they were never into each other, or just ignore that ship altogether.)

• I'd love to see more soft moments like the one on the beach. Maybe Doric talks more about her family or about how people treat her as a tiefling, and Edgin patiently listens before reassuring her. Maybe Edgin has a nightmare about Zia while Doric's on watch in their camp, and she sits with him while he calms down. Just a gentle moment of vulnerability between them, where Edgin drops his mask - but maybe not his jokes.
  
• Their latest quest means they have to pretend to be in a relationship. Maybe Edgin tries to get away with just holding her hand, concerned that kissing her would be going too far - but Doric insists she's comfortable with it. Maybe they have to fake having sex... or just agree to do it for real, no strings attached. Maybe they enjoy the roleplay but afterwards go back to being friends, or maybe it makes them wonder if they want to continue.
  
• Edgin gets injured, but luckily Doric knows of a herbal medicine that can help - and it grows nearby. Maybe the intimacy of treating him sparks a frisson between them, and she ends up giving him some sexual comfort too.
  
• Huddling for warmth in a cold cave, a snowed-in cabin, locked in a cell together, etc turns into casual sex to keep warm.
  
• Doric wants to lose her virginity to someone she trusts, so she asks charming, experienced Edgin to do the deed. Maybe he's initially reluctant and she has to convince him she means it. • One or both of them gets hit by sex pollen, maybe while they're trapped in a dungeon and there's nobody else around. Maybe Edgin tries to resist and Doric insists she doesn't have a problem with doing it - or maybe they'll die if they don't fuck, and they're gentle with each other as they rely on their friendship to get through it.
  
• Omega Doric goes into heat while there's nobody else around and begs alpha Edgin to ease her suffering. Maybe he's worried that it's just the heat talking and refuses to do more than hold her close and give her his scent, resisting anything more throughout the entire thing. Or maybe she convinces him that knotting her is the most practical option and they have an intense night with no regrets after.

Edgin Darvis & Holga Kilgore

I can't tell you how excited I was to see a canon male-female relationship that will explicitly only ever be platonic, and yet is vitally important to their lives. I love how they clearly care for and respect each other, despite being so different, and how they use their different skills to achieve their goals together.

I would be happy to see anything about the two of them, set at any point from when they first meet to after the events of the film. Fluff, angst, hurt/comfort... All of it. I just want to see them bantering, working together, protecting each other, being best friends and co-parents. I love seeing little hints of affection peeking through Holga's gruffness, and I love Edgin feeling secure enough to drop his cheerful mask. But I also love them being genuinely happy together.

• Take pretty much any common trope that fandom does for romantic ships and shove these two into it, but make it aggressively platonic. They get hit with sex pollen but refuse to fuck! Telepathic soulbond but Edgin's only got a song stuck in his head! Fake relationship but Holga refuses to do more than hold hands! Omega Edgin goes into heat but alpha Holga's immune to his pheromones, and she protects him from all other alphas! etc. etc.
  
• Edgin says they "quickly became like brother and sister"... show me that process. Was it as easy as he makes it sound? Maybe this drunken, grieving widower and gruff, hurting barbarian found things awkward at first. What was the first moment of softness between them? When was the first time Edgin made Holga laugh - or Holga made him laugh? How did Holga react when she first heard Edgin sing? How long was it before Edgin talked about Zia, or Holga about Marlamin? (And were they drunk at the time?)
  
• Them raising Kira together, whether as a baby, a child or a teen. Teaching her to walk, teaching her to speak, teaching her life skills. Kira's milestones. Celebrating Kira's birthday. Did they ever disagree on how to parent her?
  
• Holga gets hurt and Edgin has to try and convince her to let him dress the wound. Maybe she initially tries to hide her injury. Or Edgin gets hurt or sick and Holga is his awkward caretaker, little bits of softness slipping through her usually gruff demeanour.
  
• Anything about their time stuck in Revel's End together. Maybe Edgin tries to entertain Holga through the long boring days. Or it's even colder than normal and they have to cuddle for warmth. Maybe they angst together about missing Kira. Maybe Edgin braids Holga's hair for her. Or maybe Holga has to protect Edgin from the other prisoners - they probably won't be pleased if they discover he was a Harper. Maybe Holga unleashes hell on a group beating Edgin up... or interrupts as they prepare to noncon him.
  
• Edgin has a nightmare about Zia. Maybe they're on the road, and Holga's on guard, and she can't pretend she hasn't just seen him flail awake. Maybe they're at the cottage, and they end up having a late-night discussion by the fire. Maybe it's in Revel's End, and Holga silently holds him as he goes back to sleep.

Edgin Darvis/Xenk Yendar

I have so many feelings about these two. I love their banter and how they spark off each other, how Edgin sees Xenk as an enemy but then grows to respect him and doesn't want him to leave, how Xenk is frustrated with Edgin's criminal tendencies but fully believes in his goodness and is determined to draw it out... Making Edgin swear on the Harper's seal, then tenderly touching his hand? In fact, all of the hand-holding, and the offers of hand-holding. I'd love to see how their relationship develops after the film, with a softer friendship blossoming into romance. (And more touching. Lots of touching. And banter.)

These two are so good for mutual pining. Maybe Xenk thinks he can't be with anyone because of his duty as a paladin, or because the Beckoning Death has left him cursed, partially undead, lacking part of his soul, etc. Maybe Edgin finds out Xenk is a virgin and assumes the guy isn't interested in sex at all. (I do headcanon Xenk as a virgin.) Or Edgin thinks Xenk's too noble and pure to want a criminal like him, or thinks Xenk wants someone more serious or more intellectual. Xenk thinking Edgin's too charming and sociable to want someone as awkward and unbending as him... I love the angsty possibilities of all this, the two of them keeping their feelings secret even as they're practically bursting with longing. Especially as both of them are so touchy-feely! They must be torturing each other.

I'd love anything from an emotional get together to established relationship PWP. From angst full of pining or about the scars they both have, to gentle fluff with bantering or cuddles or domesticity, to deliciously indulgent tropeyness, there are so many different ways you could take this. If there's smut, happy for it to be vanilla or kinky, fully consensual or dubcon (sex pollen, fuck-or-die, bad guys made them do it, omegaverse heat, etc) Feel free to include Edgin's angst about Zia too.

• Xenk has recurring nightmares about the Beckoning Death. Edgin comforts him after one, either because he was on watch in camp, because they were forced to share a bed, or because they're already sleeping together.
  
• Oh no, they just touched this magical artifact and now they have a telepathic soulbond! Does Xenk start thinking exclusively in Thayan so Edgin can't hear his pining? Does Edgin have to keep singing a song in his head so he doesn't start thinking about the way Xenk's touching him? Does the bond force Edgin to share Xenk's nightmares, and discover the true depths of his trauma? Do they end up having mindblowing telepathic sex?
  
• Hurt/comfort, where Xenk can't use his healing for whatever reason. Either one as the hurt party, with the other one looking after them, burning with worry, the pining only getting worse as they give them reassuring touches, or even hold them close...
  
• One of them gets captured and the other (plus the party?) has to break in or go undercover to rescue them. Maybe the intense danger of the rescue results in the blurting out of feelings, or maybe comfort in the aftermath of that imprisonment leads to them opening up.
  
• Or some soft fluff of them as a couple, adventuring across Faerun or at the cottage in Targos. The quiet daily moments in between the dramatic action: cooking together, eating together, bathing in a lake, sparring or combat practice, cuddling up at night. What about their hobbies: Edgin writing songs, Xenk reading books, maybe Xenk can draw? Maybe with a side order of Xenk becoming Kira's stepfather?
  
• Maybe they confess their feelings - and then don't have a sex for a while, because Xenk's angst means he's not ready for it. Edgin's happy to wait, and there's lots of kissing and a growing emotional intimacy, before he finally deflowers a nervous but excited Xenk with some gentle and tender sex.
  
• Or maybe they've both been longing so much, driven mad by all the torture of those little touches, that when they discover they're in love with each other they're both desperate to fuck.
  
• Xenk has found a powerful artifact he can use against the Red Wizards. But he needs Edgin's help, because the only way he can attune to it/disable the spell guarding it is via sex magic. (Whether they're an established couple or they haven't gotten together yet.)
  
• Maybe Xenk gets hit by sex pollen and Edgin has to take his virginity to save him. Maybe Edgin is the one affected, and Xenk offers because he's sworn to help others (and because it's an excuse to give in to his pining). Maybe they both get sex pollened, and they have a frantic fuck with accidental declarations of feelings - or they confess nothing during, and talk afterwards when they can think straight again.
  
• If you wanted to do dom/sub, I'm fine whichever way you assign the roles. Maybe Edgin's a soft dom who just wants to encourage and praise his sub while he piles on the pleasure; sub Xenk could be kinking on dutifully obeying, or maybe he wants to escape the stresses of being a noble paladin and let Edgin take the reins. Maybe Xenk is a strict dom who wants to whip Edgin into line, or a soft dom who wants to draw out Edgin's inner goodness; maybe Edgin's a bit of a bratty sub, or maybe he's secretly desperate to please and lives for praise.
  
• For omegaverse, I enjoy both alpha Edgin/omega Xenk and alpha Xenk/omega Edgin. Maybe Xenk's been suppressing his heats for a century and now, oh dear, he's going into heat and it's a big one, so Edgin volunteers to knot him. Maybe they're trapped somewhere and Xenk goes into heat and begs Edgin not to take advantage, and Edgin has to resist. Or omega Edgin goes into heat before confessing his feelings and alpha Xenk nobly resists his advances because he thinks it's just the heat talking. (But perhaps Edgin convinces him eventually!)

Edgin Darvis/Zia Darvis/Xenk Yendar

I really like the idea of Edgin getting to be happy with Zia but also with Xenk, and Zia and Xenk being happy together too. So... AU where she never dies? Maybe Edgin stays a Harper and ends up working with Xenk, and they get closer, resulting in Xenk being drawn into the established marriage?

Edgin seemed a lot softer before Zia's death - and maybe less prone to hiding his feelings - and Zia seemed very sweet and understanding, and I'd love to see what kind of dynamic they develop with kind but serious Xenk. Would love to see them being domestic in the cottage at Targos, all helping to raise Kira, or - as Edgin and Holga managed to take young Kira on the road - maybe all three of them could have glorious adventures together, making the world a better place?

• Zia decides to take Kira and go with Edgin to the market that night. They see the Red Wizards riding to their cottage and make an escape - but the Red Wizards are still after them, so they have to take refuge with the Harpers... where a Thayan paladin promises to protect them.
  
• Or maybe Edgin never stole the Red Wizards' treasure at all. He remains a Harper, and gets assigned to work with Xenk. And the more time they spend in the field, the closer they become. And Edgin keeps coming home to Zia with all these stories of amazing Xenk the paladin... and Zia is very amused and encouraging.
  
• Maybe Edgin and Xenk are sent undercover together? Even as a couple? And they both pine guiltily, because Edgin is married, but what they're doing feels so real and so right... (Maybe the setup means Edgin can visit Zia some nights? Or write letters? Or maybe the whole mess of feelings only comes out when he returns home, and Zia has to sort them out?)
  
• I will forever love hurt/comfort for getting together. Maybe Xenk is injured and Edgin has to take him home, resulting in Edgin and Zia nursing him back to health. Or Edgin is injured and Xenk takes him to the cottage, but stays so his healing magic can recharge - or Zia insists he stays, because Xenk is wounded too?
  
• Accidental soulbond! Maybe between all three, maybe just between Edgin and Xenk, maybe it starts as Edgin and Xenk but they manage to add Zia... But due to the effect of some magical artifact, they can now hear each other's thoughts/feel each other's feelings/can't move too far from each other/all of the above.
  
• I'd also love some established relationship domestic fluff, with them all living in the cottage at Targos, raising Kira together.
  
• Or, as Edgin and Holga managed to take young Kira on the road, maybe all three of them could have glorious adventures together, making the world a better place?
  
• Totally down with smut too! What's their first time as a three like? Do they find the mechanics of it difficult to arrange? Is there a lot of laughing as limbs get tangled? Maybe Xenk's a virgin and gets a bit overwhelmed, and Edgin and Zia have to be gentle with him. What's the sex like once they get used to it? Do they indulge in some double penetration? Or maybe one of the guys goes in the middle, both penetrating and penetrated? Do they have some kinky fun? Maybe one (or two) domming the other(s)? Three people means lots of possibilities!

Simon Aumar/Doric

I love how soft Simon gets around Doric and I'd love to see her showing a softer side to him in return. (I do love Doric's spikiness though.) And I love that over the course of the film, she was very interested every time Simon's competency was shown or discussed - she was always into him, she just had this one dealbreaker, and then he fixed it! (Well, maybe he didn't entirely fix it: I love Simon having more confidence, but it might be nice to see him struggle a little - with Doric encouraging him, now she's convinced of his capability.) Does Doric have a competency kink?

Both of them have angsty pasts: Doric as a tiefling rejected by her parents, who's visibly an outsider wherever she goes; Simon as a sorcerer trying to live up to his family's long legacy of wizardry. Plus, as a half-elf, wherever he was raised, he was probably too human for the elves and too elven for the humans. As they get to know each other better, it'd be great to see them open up to each other about these things.

Maybe their courting is awkward at first, possibly hampered by Simon's tendency to break things or fall over, but I absolutely believe they're a good match and would love to see a happy relationship grow between them.

I tend to imagine Simon is a virgin, due to all his awkwardness at romance, and considering how disliked tieflings are Doric might be one too. But maybe she has some experience, and confidently reassures a nervous Simon.

• Simon seems to be homeless when Edgin and Holga find him in Triboar. Does he move in with Doric? Is it strange for him, being a half-elf among elves instead of among humans? Is Doric nervous and unsettled about taking this step in their relationship? Or maybe it's comfortable and easy - or they decide to go adventuring (with the party?) and the road becomes their home. Would love some domestic fluff for them too, as they navigate daily life and find happiness together.
  
• They both have family angst; maybe that comes to the fore when Simon runs into his wizard father, or has to work with a cousin - or asks Doric to attend a family reunion with him. I imagine he's not just a descendant of Elminster Aumar, but the sole sorcerer in a whole family of wizards. Does seeing the origins of Simon's lack of confidence help Doric understand (and support) him better? Does it help her open up about her own past more? Would love to see them bond over the experience and have some quiet, tender moments.
  
• Maybe a "five times"-type piece, with their dates going hilariously wrong... or very right.
  
• Or some hurt/comfort, with one of them looking after the other. Maybe Simon twists his ankle and he can't walk, and owlbear Doric has to carry him. Or he gets injured in combat, and Doric has to patch him up with some healing herbs before they can get him to Xenk for proper healing. Or Doric gets injured, and has to direct Simon to where the healing herbs grow. Maybe they need to travel by ship, and Simon gets really seasick. Maybe Doric has a nightmare while they're sharing a bed, and Simon nervously comforts her.
  
• Going undercover as a married couple not only forces them to rely on each other to keep up their story and acquire the artifact/info/thing they came to get, but gets them thinking about the next stage in their relationship.
  
• Simon's wild magic spectacularly misfires and now they've swapped bodies/developed a telepathic soulbond/can't be more than five feet from each other without causing pain. Doric had barely settled into their tentative relationship, and this unexpected intimacy makes her feel very vulnerable - but despite his awkwardness, Simon is still soft and kind with her.
  
• Considering Doric's connection to nature, maybe them appreciating the natural world together? Doric introducing Simon to the wonders of Faerun, telling him the names of plants and which bird makes which call? Gazing at the stars, finding a beautiful hidden waterfall, marvelling at the spring flowers, strolling through autumn leaves? Maybe a sequence, with each scene showing one of the four seasons? Or maybe just them having some slightly risky public sex, fucking against a tree?
  
• Exploring and discovering each other's bodies and how different they are. Does Simon unsubtly start trying to steal Doric's tiefling warmth when it's cold? Does her tail communicate her feelings? Are her horns sensitive? They both have pointed ears - do the tips wiggle when they're embarrassed, or aroused, or orgasming?
  
• If you wanted to do dom/sub, I'm fine whichever way you assign the roles. Maybe Doric takes the lead because she loves to give Simon the pleasure he feels awkward about asking for, or because she enjoys the power; sub Simon might feel safe with someone else in charge, or have a praise kink and love the encouragement when he obeys. Maybe Simon is an awkward, nervous dom who's worried he's not dominant enough (or that even a bit of dominance is too much) and Doric is enthusiastically encouraging him.

I love how Edgin is absolutely convinced of Simon's potential badassery (he has a mental list of all the times Simon's magic worked!) and how he's determined to make Simon believe it too - and this, for some reason, involves touching Simon's face a lot. Simon is awkward and sulky in the face of this, even though he's perfectly willing to trust Edgin and follow his lead in other areas - maybe Simon is pining, and can't let himself believe that Edgin cares about him, or is worried about opening his heart? If they did get together, would Edgin's charm and confidence carry over to the bedroom, or would he be earnest and vulnerable? Would Simon be anxious about his performance, or more willing to believe Edgin's reassurances? Depending on the situation, maybe Edgin feels too weird about the age difference, and isn't prepared to do more than kiss... until something pushes them into it.

I mostly imagine this happening pre-Korinn's Keep, with experienced Edgin taking virgin Simon under his wing and showing him the ropes, but I'm totally down with a more serious, romantic relationship and/or something set after the movie. I'd love anything from casual sex, friends with benefits, or dubcon where they're both okay with it afterwards, to a hesitant but fluffy relationship, or angsty mutual pining resulting in getting together. (If you do set it post-movie, please don't mention Simon and Doric breaking up. I'd rather you give them an open relationship, make it an AU where they were never into each other, or just ignore that ship altogether.)

• Simon's frustrated by his lack of romantic success and thinks he'd find it easier if he had more experience, so he asks Edgin to help him practise flirting/practise kissing/take his virginity. Or Edgin stumbles on Simon reading an Instructional Manual, and giving him tips turns into some hands-on demonstration.
  
• Edgin tries to wingman for Simon in a tavern, but the more he extols Simon's virtues the more it seems like he shouldn't be trying to fix Simon up with someone else at all...

• With the excitement and adrenaline after surviving a battle/successfully completing a heist, they share a kiss - or more.

• Or the heist is about to go pear-shaped, and Edgin's quick-fire patter to keep the mark bamboozled somehow results in him pretending to be dating Simon. Or maybe grabbing him for a kiss to avoid the Bad Guys.
  
• Huddling for warmth - whether in a cave, a snowy cabin, or in a cold inn room.
  
• They have to share a bed at an inn, and mutual horniness results in them masturbating next to each other. Or giving a "helping hand", or grinding on each other. Or just admitting that they're attracted to each other, resulting in some guilt-free anal.
  
• Simon gets hit by sex pollen and Edgin's the only one prepared to help him. Or maybe they're trapped somewhere, Edgin gets hit by sex pollen and Simon's the only one who can help him.
  
• When Edgin goes into Harper mode and starts giving everyone orders, Simon can't help feeling a strange thrill.

In the film, Simon mostly seems to get on Xenk's nerves (being sarcastic! destroying the bridge!) but he's not doing it on purpose and I really think if they spent more time together they could become good friends - and then more. Despite his initial jealousy, Simon is eager for Xenk to stay at the end. But maybe Simon worries that Xenk doesn't like him, or doesn't respect him? And Xenk isn't great at social interaction, so he might not realise Simon feels that way, or might not know how to explain that he actually does care. Potentially some angst there, but I'd also love some fluff.

I imagine this as a hesitant relationship ("let's see where this goes"), maybe something that happens due to outside circumstances (e.g. accidental soulbond), or perhaps a one-time deal during a dubcon scenario that they end up enjoying but don't intend to repeat. Would love to see them being soft towards each other, showing some tenderness after they develop a friendship and learn how to relate to each other.

I tend to imagine both of them as virgins (partly because of how I interpret their personalities, partly because virginity loss is just hot to me) but I would also be interested in a confident, experienced Xenk looking after Simon, especially in a sex pollen or omegaverse scenario.

(Please don't mention Simon and Doric breaking up. I'd rather you give them an open relationship, make it an AU where they were never into each other, or just ignore that ship altogether.)

• Xenk tries to teach Simon some combat skills so he can defend himself if he runs out of spell slots/his wild magic misfires/he gets cuffed again. This involves a lot of Xenk physically correcting Simon's stance/hold, or maybe Simon has a clumsy moment and trips onto Xenk – who catches him in his strong arms... or maybe they end up lying on the floor.
  
• They have to share a bed for Reasons. Xenk is nobly keeping as much distance as possible. But it's freezing, and Simon keeps making sad noises about being really cold...
  
• Or maybe Xenk has a nightmare during the night, and Simon unexpectedly finds himself trying to comfort a man he thought could deal with anything.
  
• Oops, Simon was trying to attune to an artifact but it went wrong - now the magic has attached itself to him and Xenk, and they can't be more than a few feet from each other or it causes them pain.
  
• Or it creates a telepathic bond between them, and now all of Simon's insecurities are revealed to the perfect Xenk Yendar... who turns out to have a few insecurities of his own.
  
• Xenk stumbles on Simon reading an Instructional Sex Manual... and asks if he can borrow it. Or maybe a book with some very interesting illustrations falls out of Simon's bag and Xenk can't stop thinking about them.
  
• The two of them get hit by sex pollen and the resulting fuck is amazing/awkward/both at once.
  
• They're trapped alone together in a dungeon/cave/snowed in cabin when omega Simon goes into heat. Alpha Xenk nobly volunteers to ease his suffering. With his dick.

Simon Aumar & Edgin Darvis & Kira Darvis & Doric & Holga Kilgore & Xenk Yendar

Ah, I have so many feelings about these characters. I love the found family that the party develop over the course of the film, and really want to see Kira and Xenk included in that as they all adventure together. I'm looking for banter, tender feelings, protectiveness, and/or the interplay between everyone's different personalities. Fluff, angst, action-adventure and hurt/comfort are all great!

Feel free to include Xenk/Edgin and Simon/Doric - or any of my other requested ships - as background in this one. This is just my group dynamics request, I don't need it to be completely free of shipping.

• Domestic life when your home is on the road. Sitting around the campfire, eating, joking, telling ghost stories or stories of past adventures, Edgin singing and the others joining in (or not). Exploring the market in a new town, sampling the local food, drinking in a tavern. Banter, comfortable friendship, soft found family feels.
  
• Dungeon delving! The party solve puzzles, overcome obstacles, get hopelessly lost and bicker about it, etc. Maybe they accidentally spring a trap, again. Maybe they reach the end and get their hands on the artifact - and it doesn't do what they expected!
  
• Their next quest requires some or all of them to go undercover - at a fancy party, in a cult, among an order of monks or wizards, in a fort full of soldiers, etc. What backstories do they come up with and who's good at playing the role? Does Simon get nervous and tongue-tied? Is Doric more comfortable infiltrating as an animal? Does Xenk have a vow of honesty and have to be very careful about his phrasing? Does Holga begrudge the whole idea? Maybe Kira turns out to have inherited some of Edgin's bardic skill at performance. Maybe Edgin's role requires him to be very sensible and serious and he struggles to stick to it. (What if he's undercover as a paladin?) Is this a tense and dramatic episode that takes all their skill to pull off, or a comedy of errors that they somehow scrape through?
  
• Or another heist! It's for a good reason so Xenk's on board - but maybe has no idea how to pull it off. Maybe Kira's growing up and wants to be given more responsibility than before. Does Simon's wild magic cause chaos? Maybe they experience one obstacle after another and Edgin's cheerful determination is what pulls them through - or maybe all their skills slot together perfectly and they pull it off with aplomb. I'd love to see everyone getting to be clever and competent (loved that Holga was the one to think of putting the portal on something and sneaking it into Forge's vault!)... but I'd also love a humorous take on them repeatedly almost failing.
  
• They bump into a member of someone's family, either because they're working on the same quest or because that person has sought out their help. What feelings does it stir up: is it awkward, angsty, a second chance at something good? Do the party learn more about their friend because of it? Maybe Simon struggles with working alongside his powerful wizard father or cousin. Maybe Holga's determined to win the Elk Tribe over - or show them she's outgrown them. Or maybe they end up working with the Harpers, and Edgin has to deal with his unresolved issues there.
  
• The party find out what actually happened to Xenk's family during the Beckoning Death - and how traumatic it was for him - when a spell recreates his worst memory in front of them. Or maybe he magically gets de-aged back into that little boy, and the only thing he remembers from the intervening years is how to speak Common.
  
• One of them gets injured, and the others all show their concern in their own way. Maybe Xenk can heal them quickly - or maybe he's run out of spells for the day, and the group has to keep the injured person comfortable until they can be healed. Or Xenk has been cuffed, and they have to protect the injured person while also escaping from danger.
  
• As the end of the film hints, Szass Tam comes after them - or sends a powerful lieutenant to exact revenge. Action, adventure, drama, and/or jokes and emotional moments, as they have to run for their lives, find an artifact that can give them victory, fight to protect each other, hide out in some cold caves, or whatever else you want to show me.

Ashley Albright/Jake Hardin

Jake is so sweet, and I love how he'd created a system to minimise the impact of his bad luck - and how happy he was once things started going his way. Ashley started off charmingly oblivious, and I loved her journey towards understanding and valuing hard work - and rejecting an easy life for a life full of love. It'd be great to see her continue to grow. They were so cute and had such fun chemistry even when they were friends - and were so supportive and eager to help each other even before they realised they'd switched luck. I'd love to see them supporting each other through the struggles of daily life, as well as just generally being sweet and happy together. (And I'm fine with their bad luck being used for humour - or drama! - as long as the results aren't permanent/catastrophic.)

• At the end of the film, they're both stuck with bad luck. Do they ever find a way to get good luck, without taking it from someone else? Or at least to end up with neutral luck, without passing the bad luck onto someone? Maybe they go on a quest to do as many lucky things as they can, or find a strange artifact in an antiques shop, or...
  
• Domestic fluff with them banding together to deal with the little annoyances that happen every day. Or just them enjoying some quiet, happy moments together at the end of the day.
  
• Jake teaching Ashley his system for dealing with bad luck. Could be just generally, or how to deal with a specific thing - maybe how to cook a meal without setting anything on fire?

• Angst or hurt/comfort while pregnant Ashley worries whether their child(ren) will inherit their luck, or deals with morning sickness, etc.
  
• Some funny smut (or attempted smut) with them in the bedroom? Getting tangled in their clothes, trying to put the condom on and pinging it into someone's face, falling off the bed while fucking, the bed collapsing under them...
  
• Maybe Jake has always had such bad luck with dating that he's actually a virgin. Is his first time with Ashley a fluffy night full of laughter? Good fun, despite things going wrong? Or maybe he comes almost immediately - or before he can even get it in.
  
• Exploring kinks together. Maybe they find praise kink can't go wrong. Maybe dom/sub goes well as long as the orders aren't too challenging. Maybe they have fun with some bondage - until they realise they've lost the key to the handcuffs.
  
• Alpha Jake knots omega Ashley, and it's lovely and intimate. Except his knot doesn't seem to be going down...

Robert Bruce/Elizabeth de Burgh

I love the gentle, tender romance that develops between these two. Robert is clearly attracted to Elizabeth from the moment they meet, but out of respect for her autonomy or for his first wife, he refuses to claim his "marital rights". Elizabeth is resigned to her duty, striding into her new life despite the flicker of fear over physical intimacy - and when she discovers that sex is off the table, it gives her space to fall in love with him.

I love the quiet, sometimes awkward moments of daily life, encountering each other in corridors and repeatedly saying goodnight - as well as Elizabeth developing a strong bond with Marjorie. But I also love the bolder, more political moments, from the ceremonies to Elizabeth displaying her political nouse and swearing herself to him. They match each other on every level - ruling together, laughing together, supporting each other's needs, whether big or small - and their love is deep and genuine. I was so pleased that she was the one to invite him to bed, and that he waited for her without question, resulting in a tender and passionate consummation. And I love that - despite her being a determined, intelligent queen and him being a complex, canny leader capable of brutality - when they're laughing and kissing they feel more like awkward, earnest teenage lovers embarking on innocent first love. If you want to try and capture all those nuances, you're very welcome to - but I'd be happy with something that highlights just one aspect, whether fluffy or dramatic or smutty.

You're very welcome to include Marjorie, or their other historical children, as well as references to Robert's relationship with his first wife. Also, don't feel you need to be historically accurate at all - the film clearly isn't! If you do happen to know about the period, feel free to use that knowledge to expand on the film, though please don't change anything established by the movie. But if you know nothing, and you make up something believable or just work from wikipedia - I don't know anything either so I won't notice if it's wrong, lmao.

• I'd love some post-canon fluff, as they get to enjoy truly being husband and wife. Does Robert keep giving her thistles? Do they keep teasingly saying goodnight? Do they sneak quiet moments together between their duties, giggling or kissing in a corner? What about waking up together, eating together, cuddling in front of a roaring fire, falling asleep together? How do they mark the passing of seasons?
  
• Or something more dramatic, with them dealing with the realities of ruling a country. Listening to petitioners, trying to solve their issues. Making alliances and laws. Deciding on fair taxation, and rebuilding Scotland after so much destruction. Dealing with the Scottish nobles. Any of it, all of it. And supporting each other - intellectually, emotionally, physically - giving advice but also cuddling after an exhausting day.
  
• They already have Marjorie, but Robert would need a male heir - and they did have more children in real life. Anything focusing on that - from planning and hoping, to anticipating the baby once Elizabeth is pregnant, to dealing with things like morning sickness, or worry that Elizabeth will die like Robert's first wife Isabella... to their joy and excitement once the child arrives safely, or the realities of raising them. Robert and Elizabeth are both adorable with Marjorie, so I'd love some more cuteness as their family grows.
  
• Although they have separate bedrooms, maybe they accidentally fall asleep together after some frantic lovemaking - and one of them has a nightmare. Robert saw so much horror on the path to affirming his rule, and Elizabeth spent so long in that cage hanging from the castle walls. But now they're back together, they can comfort each other over their trauma.
  
• Now they're reunited, they have the opportunity for their second time - or third, fourth, fifth... Show me these two exploring physical intimacy together, whether it's a tender coupling while they're still discovering each other's bodies, or a passionate night years down the line.
  
• It's fourteenth century Scotland, so there might not be established knowledge of kinks - but that doesn't mean they can't have fantasies that they explore together. Maybe they both have a praise kink. Maybe Elizabeth loves to feel her husband's big strong body holding her down. Maybe, now he's assured of her willingness, Robert wants to continue his rule into the bedroom - or maybe after a tiring day of politics he wants to lay all that down and let Elizabeth take control. Maybe a discreet craftsman provides them with a strap-on so they can try pegging. Just the two of them happily being kinky together.
  
• Omega Elizabeth goes into heat, and her alpha husband Robert tends to her needs. From the intense physical sensation and intimacy of knotting, to the raw instinct of breeding kink, they're going to fully indulge their urges. Nicholas Devereaux/Mia Thermopolis

This is such a great example of enemies to lovers. I love that they're kind and flirty at their first meeting, because they're immediately attracted to each other, and that even once they're enemies they can't hide that sexual tension. But their enmity is based on both seeking something only one of them can have rather than ideological differences: Nicholas seems more motivated by whether Mia's going to be a good queen and whether she really knows Genovia (and by his uncle's influence), and not a personal hunger for power. So once he's convinced of her capability (and she of his sincerity) and he gives up his claim to the crown, there's no question about whether they'd be able to find common ground.

I love both the push-and-pull of Nicholas flirting and Mia trying to resist (in the closet, by the fountain, the deleted scene in the kitchen) as well as them being soft and friendly with each other: Nicholas supporting Mia by helping with her archery, hesitantly reaching out to her in the stable after the incident with the fake snake... and the night they spend together before her wedding where we see them opening up emotionally, dancing close, and falling asleep in each other's arms. So I'd love a post-canon continuation of that as their relationship develops, with them dating or getting engaged, or a fully established relationship, with them as queen and consort. Or maybe an AU?

I liked Andrew as a character so no bashing of him please, and it's fine to have Mia/Andrew's unromantic engagement happening in the background or to show them amicably breaking up. Also happy for Clarisse/Joe to be in the background, or for Lilly to visit again. Or cute appearances by Fat Louie the cat or Maurice the dog!

• A collection of fluffy moments, maybe a Five Times structure? Nicholas cooking for Mia, Mia's clumsiness causing minor chaos and Nicholas calmly dealing with it, quiet moments alone when the staff aren't around, lazy mornings before the pressures of the day kick in... Any cute, soft theme you like!
  
• Dealing with the press or public officials now that Mia's queen. Maybe after the scandal of Mia's broken engagement and being caught sleeping in Nicholas's arms the press are even more interested in all the gossip - and the two of them have to rely on each other during a series of intense "look, we're engaged" press events.
  
• Or maybe something fluffier and more humourous, with Nicholas subtly helping to support Mia at an event. Another slightly odd and inexplicably pear-based Genovian tradition? How does Genovia celebrate Christmas? What about a visit from the leader of another tiny European country? Maybe presenting a united front against Nicholas's uncle, who's trying to cause trouble for them - and Mia helping Nicholas deal with feeling betrayed?
  
• Presumably they're going to need children to be heirs to the crown, so anything to do with that. Soft fluffy moments during pregnancy as they look forward to their first child - or hurt/comfort where Mia has morning sickness and Nicholas looks after her. The joys of raising their kids together: maybe getting messy in the kitchen, or Nicholas using his skill for accents to read a bedtime story while Mia's heart melts? Or maybe some breeding kink smut, as they prepare to make that baby.
  
• Or is Nicholas worried that he won't be a good father? After all, his own father died when he was six, and it seems like he was raised by his terrible uncle. And yet Mabrey had no qualms about setting him up to catch Mia on camera, even though he knew Nicholas was in love with her. Nicholas is clearly softer and kinder than his uncle - even after telling Mia he loathes her, he checks she's okay multiple times as she climbs out of the fountain - but maybe he doesn't see that in himself? So perhaps some hurt/comfort, with Mia reassuring him he will be a good father?
  
• Or some hurt/comfort for Mia! She's so accident prone, an injury could easily happen. Maybe she hurts her ankle playing badminton again, only this time she's not playing it up - and Nicholas being gentle with her makes her heart flutter in a way that's definitely not pretend. (Maybe he picks her up and carries her in his arms? We know he's strong enough to lift her!) Or another injury, just something where he has to give her soft comfort. Maybe it happens during an important event that she can't miss - so he has to stick close to her, physically supporting her while she tries to carry on. And Nicholas helps to hide her injury from everyone else, picking up as much slack as he can to appease the guests even as he worries about her.
  
• I'd be interested to see how these two and their dynamic play out in other settings: steampunk AU, fairy tale AU, daemon AU, Hogwarts AU? Regency AU, where the scandal with Nicholas almost ruins her? Or Mia can't convince parliament to change the law and Nicholas has to marry her right then so she can keep the crown? Fantasy AU where they're both competing to be the next leader of a dragonrider battalion? Or the plot of the film, but with magic? Maybe a genderswap: how does the plot change if Nicholas is Nicola, and also needs to marry to get the crown?
  
• Or how would events unfold with an injection of some cracky tropeyness? Maybe Mia and Nicholas are accidentally soulbonded together and can't be more than five feet apart without it causing pain? Or they develop a telepathic link, and Nicholas can flirt with Mia 24 hours a day - at the risk of revealing all his doubts? Or Nicholas gets turned into a dog and Mia has to try and change him back before anyone - especially his uncle - realises what's happened? Or they get bodyswapped, and have to make a pact not to entirely fuck up each other's lives?
  
• Mia said she's never been in love before, so is she a virgin? Would love to see experienced Nicholas slowly and gently taking her virginity - and being surprised himself at how intense and intimate sex is with a partner he loves. Do they have a short engagement and wait until their wedding night? Or do they decide to take that step before then, once they feel secure in their feelings and trust?
  
• Maybe Mia's rule continues into the bedroom and she enthusiastically, if somewhat awkwardly, doms a happily submissive Nicholas. Or maybe at the end of the day she wants to relax and let him take control, so he doms her instead. Kneeling, collaring, bondage, pegging and swearing of fealty all very welcome. (Or maybe discipline or painplay? I'll be honest: when Nicholas said "you can step on my foot anytime", my brain heard "hurt me, mistress", so...)
  
• Omega Mia goes into heat. Maybe they get trapped in a closet, pre-relationship, and the air's full of scent and tension - but alpha Nicholas never crosses the line, and just gently comforts her instead of taking advantage. (Maybe, against her better judgement, she lets him hold her close so she can smell his calming alpha scent.) Or maybe some enthusiastic mating and knotting once they're an established couple.

James T. Kirk/Leonard "Bones" McCoy

I love Bones and his sassy grumpiness, and how under that he clearly cares (though possibly he wishes he didn't). Kirk starts off rebellious and traumatised, but obviously has a keen mind and an urge to protect people. Really enjoy both Bones despairing at young, reckless, flirty Kirk, and the more tender moments once Kirk mellows into a slightly-more-responsible captain, like when they're sharing the booze that Bones stole from Chekov.

Do they mutually pine over each other in silence, with Bones maybe believing Kirk isn't even into men? Or does Kirk proposition him while they're still at the academy and they become friends with benefits? How long does it take them to admit they have feelings and they want more? Or maybe it's only after they're already on their five year mission when they start to see each other that way - does a dangerous situation push them to confess?

(No preference for whether you call them Jim/Bones or Kirk/McCoy, use what you prefer.)

• I like to imagine that they were roommates at the academy, and all the possibilities of that. How did they settle in, that first week of sharing a room? What was their routine like as the years went on? Did Bones get grumpy with Kirk for interrupting his studying - or did they spend late nights together in the library? Maybe Kirk was too sick to get out of bed one day, and Bones grumpily insisted on looking after him. Maybe Bones once walked in on Kirk brazenly jerking off, resulting in snark - or joining in. (Maybe it happened multiple times and Bones started to suspect it was on purpose.) Or maybe an amused Kirk stumbled on Bones trying to masturbate more furtively and instantly realised what was happening.
  
• An away mission goes wrong and Kirk is injured, but they can't contact the ship. Bones has to treat him without the benefit of proper equipment, and worries about him until they're safe. Or Bones is the one injured, and he has to talk Kirk through treating him.
  
• They get handcuffed together by aliens, or bound by some mystical artifact, and now they're stuck together - leaving Bones to deal with all of Kirk's pent up restless, reckless energy, and Kirk dealing with maximum Bones grump. And not being able to escape their feelings, of course.
  
• Kirk's trauma sometimes surfaces as nightmares. Either he goes to Bones for a medical solution, or Bones witnesses a nightmare first hand - while roommates at the academy, or forced to share a bed on an alien planet?
  
• They get captured by baddies and Bones can only watch as Kirk is tortured, and then tries to comfort him once it's over. In his grumpy Bonesy way, of course.
  
• Kirk gets an alien parasite for which the treatment is uncomfortably intimate: needing to be jerked off, or sounded, or have his prostate milked, etc. They both try to remain professional, but the vulnerability of it brings some feelings to the surface. Bones' terrible bedside manner fully welcome. (Not looking for medical kink, in the sense of the characters explicitly kinking on it, but very happy for the narrative to kink on the situation.)
  
• One or both of them gets hit by sex pollen. Maybe they stoically resist giving in and suffer through the symptoms while comforting each other, or maybe they've both been pining so long that they just jump at each other. Or maybe Bones tries to administer an antidote - or maybe it was Kirk having a reaction to some medicine Bones gave him that caused the sex pollen effect to begin with!
  
• Fluffy, bantery smut, with Kirk teasing Bones and Bones' grump slowly melting as pleasure takes over.

Pavel Chekov/James T. Kirk

Chekov is so fucking adorable. I love his earnest enthusiasm, his innocence, and his extreme competency despite his age - and how that fits with Kirk, who's older, more traumatised, and chafes against the rules, but strives to protect his crew. They work so well together, and I really enjoyed how much of Beyond was just the two of them out in the wilds, with a slightly more mature Chekov showing he can handle himself in the field.

Would love to see them as a couple, with Kirk's captainly urges to keep people safe translating into him being soft and tender. Does Chekov's enthusiasm carry over into an excitement to share new experiences, from dates in interesting places, to exploring new sexual possibilities with Kirk? Does Kirk initially try to hide his trauma from his younger partner? Or do they spend ages mutually pining, with both thinking the age gap means the other would never be interested? What finally gets them to confess - a bad injury, dubcon sex, or simply an inability to hold it in any more?

If they're having sex due to a dubcon scenario (e.g. sex pollen, omegaverse heat) you can set it any time after Chekov turns 18, but if they're in a romantic relationship please set it during or after Beyond, i.e. when Chekov is 22 or older.

• An away mission goes wrong and Chekov is injured, but they can't contact the ship. Kirk has to look after him until they can get him to safety, and the vulnerable moments stir up feelings for them both.

• On a diplomatic mission, the aliens somehow only have one bed for the two of them to share. They can totally be professional about this... Except the planet also gets really cold at night.
  
• Or the bed is fine and they get great sleep - until Kirk has a nightmare.
  
• Is Chekov a virgin? He was such a young cadet that his fellow students probably thought of him as a kid, and that's hard to shake off even now he's an adult because he's still the youngest member of the crew. Maybe Kirk is his first real relationship... and maybe he's Kirk's first real relationship too, as the guy seems to aim for casual. Would love to see Kirk putting that sexual experience to good use when he tenderly takes Chekov's virginity - and is maybe a bit overwhelmed himself at the difference feelings make.
  
• They're stuck on a planet together with no way to beam off, and they get exposed to sex pollen/dragged into ritual sex to appease the aliens/trapped by some forgotten tech that won't let them go until they fuck. Maybe Chekov is nervous or maybe he's trying to be professional about it, and Kirk is gentle as he guides him through it.
  
• Or they get exposed to something that means omega Chekov's suppressants stop working, and now he's going into heat. Do Starfleet regulations allow Chekov to request help from alpha Kirk? Or maybe they frown on it - but when Chekov asks him, Kirk's not going to let him suffer alone. (Or maybe Kirk is the omega, and Chekov is the inexperienced alpha worried he's going to knot him by mistake.)

James T. Kirk/Christopher Pike

I love that Pike was the first one to believe in Kirk - and the one who got Kirk to believe in himself. He finds this young guy losing a bar fight and tells him he can do more, be better, live up to not only his potential but his father's legacy. And Kirk hears that challenge and says no, I'll do even better than that.

But there's a tension between them: Pike encourages Kirk's out-of-the-box thinking and urge for heroics, but also expects him to follow the rules (or at least know which rules to break and when). Kirk wants that approval, wants to excel, but he's used to rebellion and reckless behaviour and is willing to risk more than other people are comfortable with. There's this push and pull where they're trying to find where the line should fall, and maybe that could play into how they are as a couple: not quite sure if their relationship is appropriate or it's going too far, if it's going to make Kirk a better man or screw him up more.

As a captain, Pike seems kind and steady but also willing to make unconventional choices, and he gives Kirk a chance to speak even when he's just stowed away on his ship. Kirk respects him and wants his respect in return but also chafes against the hierarchy of Starfleet. I'd love to see their relationship blossom into more, with Pike being encouraging but maybe also conflicted, and Kirk finding a sense of safety even as he's unsettled by commitment. Or maybe they have to rely on their platonic relationship to get them through a sexual encounter caused by sex pollen or alien demands or an omegaverse heat.

Not looking for daddy kink here but Kirk's daddy issues are welcome. He obviously has some trauma with regards to his father (and presumably his abusive stepfather) and that's part of why he is the way he is. But with everything that happens in space, they probably both have some trauma due to the terrible things they've seen, maybe even PTSD, and that could play into some hurt/comfort.

If you set this during or after Into Darkness please go AU and have Pike live! (No preference for whether you call them Jim/Christopher or Kirk/Pike, use what you prefer.)

• An AU where Kirk becomes Pike's first officer, either as canon divergence partway through Into Darkness or for some other reason. I liked the brief bits we saw of them working together in the first film, with Pike listening to Kirk's warning and then taking him off in the shuttle, and Kirk later rescuing Pike. I'd love to see them get to spend more time travelling the universe as direct leader and subordinate, and how their relationship could develop - first professionally, and then romantically. Is there mutual pining, with Pike feeling guilty about the age difference and the potential abuse of power, and Kirk worrying that Pike will never see him that way? Or do they just naturally slide into it? This could be a good opportunity for some hurt/comfort, dramatic action where they protect each other, and/or them showing their respect for each other's intellectual capabilities as they work together on a plan or a diplomatic mission.
  
• Or an AU where Into Darkness never happens and Pike's still around when Kirk is an older, wiser, struggling-with-ennui captain. Does Kirk go to Pike for advice? Do they begin to feel more like equals as Kirk rises up the ranks? Maybe Pike stops thinking of Kirk as too young and starts thinking of himself as too old, and Kirk has to show that his respect for him has only grown. Maybe another meeting in a bar results in a mutual agreement to spend one night together. Maybe a new danger sends Admiral Pike back into space with Kirk, and one of them being injured or having a close call with death results in an admission of feelings?
  
• Due to sex pollen/omega Kirk going into heat/being captured by aliens who demand they perform some kind of sex ritual, Pike and Kirk have to fuck. Maybe Pike tries to be kind and gentle and protect Kirk through the process, but maybe he also feels guilty about finding pleasure in it. Maybe Kirk thinks he'll be fine because he's slept around so much, but maybe the experience is unsettlingly intimate. Afterwards, maybe they go back to a professional relationship, or maybe having sex stirs up some unexpected feelings and they become a couple - or mutually pine for a romantic relationship.
  
• BDSM AU, either where everyone is innately a dom or sub, or where Starfleet is a D/s hierarchy. Pike takes Kirk on as a sub, at the academy or while serving together on a ship, as part of guiding this rebellious young man towards being a good officer in his own right. Maybe Kirk chafes against the rules of a BDSM world as much as the rules of Starfleet, but secretly longs to be made to submit and enjoys the physical aspects of their arrangement. Maybe Pike tries to stay professional and detached, but can't help becoming emotionally involved - and feeling guilty about it.

James T. Kirk/Montgomery "Scotty" Scott

I love that Scotty is almost immediately loyal to Kirk, and that Kirk absolutely relies on him to get things done - even when Scotty's already resigned. And Scotty might complain, but he'll still rush to help him. I love how Scotty swings between almost innocent cheerfulness that turns to grumpiness when he feels unappreciated, and the humorous possibilities of that with his charming, flirty, almost reckless captain. Kirk's a good leader, but he's got trauma lurking beneath the surface, and I think Scotty would be kind with that. And they're both brilliant in their own ways.

• Scotty loyally following Kirk into a new perilous situation, or performing some arduous task for him, and Kirk showing his appreciation. (Or "appreciation"...)
  
• Kirk fondly complimenting a grumpy Scotty who's feeling ignored - whether they're already a couple, or Kirk secretly has feelings for him.
  
• While stuck on an alien planet, they have to huddle for warmth. Maybe a tension's already been developing between them, and this pushes them over the edge - or maybe the forced proximity itself stirs up new feelings. Especially if they have to cuddle naked.
  
• Scotty gets drunk and starts complimenting Kirk again... a lot. So much that Kirk starts getting suspicious.
  
• They have to share a bed for Reasons, and Kirk has a nightmare. Scotty gently comforts him.
  
• Or one of them gets injured while they're stranded, away from the Enterprise and her doctors, and the other one looks after them, maybe holding them close. Or maybe Kirk is tortured by aliens, and Scotty can only watch - and try to comfort him afterwards?
  
• They're trapped together, on an alien planet or locked in a cell, when one or both of them gets doused with sex pollen. Maybe Scotty's the pollened one, and he's grumpy but apologetic, and Kirk is kind and casual about offering to help. Or maybe Kirk's the one affected, and he doesn't want to ask this of his subordinate - but Scotty insists on it. Or they're both pollened, and they can't keep their hands off each other - and don't regret it afterwards.
  
• Would love some dom/sub for them, whether that echoes their captain/officer roles, or whether they reverse that. Maybe Scotty's eager to take charge and Kirk is happy to give up his burdens for a bit, or maybe Kirk channels his protective instinct into giving a needy Scotty exactly what he desires.
  
• They're trapped together when one of them unexpectedly goes into heat, and the other one offers to help. Maybe alpha Kirk carefully looks after nervous omega Scotty, or maybe alpha Scotty nervously tries to make it good for desperate omega Kirk.

Franklin "FDR" Foster/Tuck Hansen

I love these two and the dynamic they have: working smoothly together, protecting each other in danger, happily declaring their love for each other, bantering, hanging out. They're deeply competitive but deeply loyal, though there's also a fragility to their friendship. They're such different people - smooth, flirty FDR who hides his angsty past, and earnest, romantic Tuck who's longing for love but doesn't know how to find it - but they have such an easy rapport and genuinely like each other. (Except when they don't.)

They also do a lot of terrible things - for their jobs, but also socially - and I'm fine with that being acknowledged, in a "they're the same kind of terrible, and therefore perfect for each other" sort of way. But feel free to ignore that thread, and just have them as fluffy friends-to-lovers.

• More of them in an action situation: protecting each other, dodging bullets, parrying strikes, bantering away. Does Tuck ever remember to bring spare ammo? Does one of them knock the other out the way of danger, and they end up lying on top of each other?
  
• I'd love some more of them hanging out, maybe watching a movie, playing video games, or drinking together. But this time there's a mood in the air, and something ends up happening.
  
• Visiting Nana's again! Another family gathering (to which Tuck is, of course, invited) where their feelings for each other simmer until they end up confessing? Or maybe the first time FDR introduces Tuck as his boyfriend?
  
• One of them gets injured, and the other one looks after them. Maybe holding them close, keeping them calm until help arrives - or helping them to walk, so they can get to safety?
  
• Or they're sharing a bed for Reasons, and one of them has a nightmare about something they barely escaped - and the other one comforts them.
  
• Undercover as a couple! They have to pretend to be together, and they think it'll be fine because they're already so comfortable with each other - but kissing feels far more natural than they expect, and they're not sure what to do about that. (Maybe they end up in a situation where they're expected to fuck, and they either try and fake it - or just decide to roll with it, because why not?)
  
• What happened in Bangladesh that resulted in Tuck seeing FDR's cock? Was it hard at the time? And, most importantly, did Tuck touch it?
  
• They both like Sade. They both know it turns FDR into Captain Horny Pants. You see where this is going.
  
• While on a mission, they get dosed with sex pollen - either accidentally, or as a deliberate ploy by the baddies - and now they need to fuck. Have they been pining for ages, and this results in them confessing (but maybe not until afterwards), or does the sex itself stir up unexpected feelings - which they can't ignore?
  
• Or the baddies insist they fuck or die, and they're both comfortable with fucking - but actually doing it, especially while in danger, turns out to be more vulnerable and intimate than they anticipated.
  
• Maybe they have a friends-with-benefits agreement, so they can blow off steam, relax before a tense mission, while away the time when undercover... or just because sex is fun. But maybe they both develop feelings, and neither wants to be the one who "ruins" everything by confessing.
  
• Normally in omegaverse I prefer alpha/omega, but I think alpha/alpha would really work for these two - competing with each other, not wanting to back down, scents battling in the air, wrestling to see who tops. They're not built to take a knot, but maybe they'd want to prove they're tough enough to handle it. (No bitching, please.)
  
• But I would also be interested in alpha/omega! No preference for which is which. Maybe one of them unexpectedly goes into heat, maybe while they're undercover - and, well, what is a best friend going to do but help his buddy out? But maybe knotting is more intimate than they expect, leading to new feelings - or forcing them to confront repressed ones.

Asha/Magnifico of Rosas

I enjoyed this film, but it left me craving more of certain ideas. Mainly an apprentice Asha AU, Magnifico being softer - or Magnifico being even worse.

I kinda felt like they couldn't decide what Magnifico's motivation was. Like whether he was a purely evil villain powered by arrogance and a need for control, or whether he was a sympathetic antagonist crushed by the pressure of kingship and past trauma. I would love something that grabbed either idea with both hands and committed to it fully. Even if he's a misguided good guy that genuinely cares, feel free to make him arrogant and a bit manipulative - or to turn those traits to the max if he's evil.

Between Asha's interview and them duetting on what was basically a love song, I both shipped these two and really wanted to see them as mentor/apprentice. I love Asha's determination, her compassion, her righteousness, and her quirky goofiness - but if your work suits her being more serious, that's fine. Apprentice AU, canon plotline, or other canon divergence are all welcome.

Please either make this an AU where Asha is already 18, or have a time skip so she's an adult. And please either give Magnifico and Amaya an open relationship, or make it an AU where they were never a couple... Unless you're going with fully evil, corrupted by green magic Magnifico, in which case I'm fine with him cheating on Amaya and/or nonconning Asha. Otherwise, dubcon or consensual, please.

(If Magnifico's a sympathetic figure who turns to darkness, please leave the door open for redemption. But fully evil Magnifico doesn't need redemption - in fact, I'm fine with a Villain Wins AU.)

• That apprentice AU... Maybe some fluff as Asha helps Magnifico with a spell, or makes him some tea, or maybe he shows her how to do a little magic. Hurt/comfort maybe, when a spell backfires and Asha's injured, and Magnifico tends to her? Or some angst after Asha's been his apprentice for months, as she starts to realise something's not right - how would the film's plot change if Magnifico was someone she had feelings for?
  
• Maybe Magnifico escapes from the mirror, and Asha has to stop him a second time, leading to a frisson between them. Or a new threat arises, and Asha can only defeat it with help from her old enemy. Or maybe an AU where Asha (and Amaya?) free him from the green magic's corruption - and a repentant Magnifico has to live with what he did. How does he interact with Asha now she's the one using magic to grant wishes?
  
• What if Asha didn't discover the truth about the wishes before she turned 18? What would her wish be? Is it something Magnifico would be happy to grant? Or maybe something - like "helping Rosas" - that's just vague enough that he could twist it into Asha serving him? (If he did, how would she ever realise what he was really doing?) Or would he never grant her wish?
  
• Maybe the green magic isn't the only kind of magic that has a negative effect. Maybe the weight of all those wishes, powered by an entire kingdom's deepest dreams, has actually been wearing Magnifico down all along? Like, not only does he promise that he'll protect the wishes at all costs, he sings that he's mesmerised by the hold they have over him. What if Asha realised something was going on, and she (and Amaya?) managed to save him from it, before he turned to darkness? Even if it meant him giving up (or heavily reducing) his use of wish magic.
  
• Maybe Asha becomes his apprentice, and Magnifico asks for her help casting a spell. But the spell requires intimate contact between them (kissing, touching, maybe even sex) and Asha would have to trust Magnifico with it. Is this a legitimate request from a good-hearted but arrogant Magnifico trying a powerful spell that's beyond him alone? Or is this just a manipulation tactic from a secretly evil Magnifico, who's taken an unhealthy interest in Asha?
  
• What about a Villain Wins AU? Similar to the climax with them both on top of the tower, Magnifico uses those green magic hands to throw Asha around/pin her down/cause her pain. Or maybe he imprisons her in the dungeon, visiting her to gloat. Maybe the menace even blurs into sexual tension as he leans in close...
  
• Another apprentice AU idea: a magical mishap results in them being doused with cuddle pollen or kissing pollen. Magnifico is gently apologetic as he guides Asha through the intimate cure, crossing lines they've never crossed before. (If this is evil Magnifico, maybe he's manipulating her into agreeing to more than she's comfortable with - or maybe the mishap wasn't an accident, and he dosed them on purpose.)
  
• Or maybe a spell goes wrong - whether it's an apprentice AU, Magnifico's magic interacting with Star's wand, or due to the green magic - and Asha (or both of them) gets doused in sex pollen instead. Does Magnifico have to gently guide his desperate apprentice through losing her virginity? Is this a frantic fuck between enemies? Does Asha try to resist the aching desire, even as Magnifico urges her to give in?
  
• Omega Asha goes into heat while serving as Magnifico's apprentice, and he helps her through it. Is he a gentle alpha who holds her close, letting her smell his calming scent, only giving non-sexual comfort? A firm but caring alpha who takes charge and guides her through being knotted for the first time? Or a supposedly kind alpha who's subtly manipulating her into things she's not entirely comfortable with? (Did he even tamper with her heat suppressants?)
  
• Maybe a victorious, fully corrupted Magnifico decides to take what he wants from Asha, and noncons her - whether she's locked in the dungeon, restrained by green magic, or pinned as he holds her down and forces himself on her.
