Thank you for creating something for me! My username is
forsworn. I requested fic in eight fandoms. Treats are welcome!
I love seeing how my blorbos would react if events played out a different way, with their established personalities and dynamics steering things to a new result. But I also love seeing who they could be in a different setting, and how the details of that world could parallel things from their original backstory, with those new events leading to their usual personality - or maybe slightly different. Most of the AUs I've requested aren't ones I want to see combined, but some of them would blend well (e.g. canon divergence and omegaverse) - I've noted where that's something I'd be interested in seeing.
Some of my requested AUs lend themselves to smut (omegaverse, BDSM, pistilverse) but there are less smutty things about them that also appeal to me, and for any AU I'd be very into fluff, hurt/comfort, angst with a happy ending, or smut - though if they're students at Hogwarts, please make sure they're 18 before they fuck!

Simon Basset/Anthony Bridgerton
These two are both traumatised and both weighed down by duty in different ways - Simon, determined to keep the angry vow made to his terrible father, and Anthony, trying to shepherd the loving family he became head of far too young. Simon has a sharp tongue that rears up when he's hurting, but Anthony knows him better than almost anyone. Considering the era, maybe there's a current of repressed sexual tension between them - or maybe they've already started a secret relationship. Could be during their Oxford days, when they're both rakes about town, or during the main canon period but without the het romances, but I'd really like them to peel back their manly reserve to allow a little softness through.

Magical soul animals! This AU is just so appealing to my id. I'm really interested in the choice of species for each person's daemon, and how that reflects their personality - or highlights a facet of their personality, as there's usually multiple options that would fit each person. (And don't feel you have to go with one of my suggestions if you have a better idea!) I've read HDM, so if you want to use things like resettling, intercision, etc that aren't often incorporated into daemon AUs, I'm happy for you to do so - but just getting to see my blorbos with cool soul animals would make me very happy.
Did Simon's daemon rarely change form as a child, preferring to stay as a tiny mouse, enraging his exacting father? Or maybe it settled very late? Maybe now it's something big and bold and exciting - a flirty, charming fox? A sleek and elegant panther? Or a dog that people often mistake for a wolf, but who secretly wants soft attention?
Maybe Anthony had a dog daemon, affectionate and loyal - until he became viscount, and the shock and stress of all that made his daemon resettle. What is it now? A gruff and aloof wolf? A charming but dismissive fox? A caracal who loves to stretch and show off her sharp claws? And can Simon, who knew him before and after, still see the shadow of its old form?
I'm also interested in how each person interacts with their daemon, with the others' daemons, and how the daemons interact with each other. Does Regency England have strict rules about all this? And do Simon and Anthony break them - maybe letting their daemons cuddle in a way that's “improper” for two grown men? Or maybe they even let each other touch their daemons, as a symbol of their deep trust and bond, and a sublimation of the forbidden desires neither can actually bring themselves to speak aloud. Or they confess their feelings, and touching each other's daemons becomes normal - but they have to remember not to do it in public.
Hogwarts is still such a cosy world for me and I love the idea of my blorbos as students there. I will eat up the inclusion of familiar worldbuilding, from small details sprinkled throughout - like them eating Bertie Botts' Every Flavour Beans or chocolate frogs, frantically scribbling homework in the common room, receiving owl post, etc - to bigger events like Quidditch matches, the house cup, visiting Hogsmeade, or dealing with dramatic plots outside of lessons.
Obviously they'd have to be younger to be at Hogwarts, preferably in the same year together. They could be as young as first years - but if you're going to write them getting hot and heavy, please make them both 18 and in their final year.
I'm always interested in who gets put into which house, and I don't have any set ideas about that here, but I'd like them to be in the same house. Are they two Gryffindors, reckless and charming? Two Ravenclaws, using their intelligence to breeze through studying and spend their free time on something else? Two Hufflepuffs, acting like rakes to make themselves seem tougher? Two Slytherins, weighed down by their family legacies? I'm imagining the Bridgertons as a big wizarding family, but maybe Simon is muggleborn - and his muggle father doesn't approve of magic. Or maybe Simon's father was the first wizard in their family? But he's angry that Simon is in the "wrong" house, or always suspected his son was a Squib and hasn't calmed down even now that's proved to be false.
Maybe Simon and Anthony are Quidditch players - but keep getting benched for other misbehaviour? Or maybe they always get away with it, so they get to enjoy the team's victories - maybe sharing a kiss in the excitement of celebration? Maybe they're trying to become Animaguses, and have secret practise sessions, or are chasing some other kind of forbidden magic. Maybe Anthony gets worn out by all his younger siblings pestering him in the common room, so Simon drags him into a secret tunnel - and they find something mysterious. Or maybe they find it while sneaking around at night on a dare. Maybe they're about to separate for the holidays, and Simon's trying to hide his angst about staying at Hogwarts all alone, so Anthony climbs into his bed and they cuddle up in the dorm room - or maybe Anthony invites Simon to come home with him instead? Or maybe this is a fluffy story, following their daily lives, as they attend lessons and struggle with spells and joke around in the common room together?
There really are so many possibilities here, and I'd love to see what you think would happen to this gang if they were at Hogwarts - there are way more things than I could mention, so go with what inspires you.
There are some pairings where I love the idea of alpha/alpha and this is one of them. Competing for dominance, struggling to take a knot, scents clashing in the air... but still finding a way to build a solid relationship, because they're perfect for each other. No bitching (turning one into an omega) please.
I can see the forbidden nature of an alpha/alpha relationship resulting in a lot of mutual pining. Maybe Simon's father always assumed he was an omega, and treated him badly because of it, so Simon hates doing anything "not alphalike" - and allowing Anthony to penetrate him is a real show of intimacy and trust. Maybe Anthony, struggling with his new responsibilities as viscount, feels like he isn't alpha enough - and worries what his tender feelings for Simon say about him. But maybe he also has a lot of protective alpha urges toward his best friend, and they come out when Simon is upset, or has a boxing injury. Maybe Anthony's alpha scent triggers Simon's sharp tongue, and Simon hates it, because he wants to look after his best friend.
Does one of them slowly train his hole to take a knot - maybe just as a fantasy, not intending to ever confess his urges? (Until he does.) Maybe at university they fall into a habit of spending their ruts together, urgently frotting against each other, but both are afraid to ask for anything else. Maybe one drunken night at the gambling table, they make a bet - and the loser will have to submit to the winner. But when the time comes, the winner is full of confusingly tender feelings, and the loser is surprised by their own desire to go through with it? Maybe they just spend months or years bantering as they pine, their alpha scents sparking sharp reactions - until one of them has a moment of such emotional vulnerability that the other one can smell it? I just want to see these find a way to be happy together, despite (or because of) their supposed incompatibility.
I love the version where the pistil gets a flower every time they have sex, and when their vines/branches fill up they just shed all the flowers and start afresh. The version where a pistil only gets one flower per partner, and their tattoo grows every time it fills up, can be really interesting with some plots too. Not into the version where having a lot of sexual partners eventually kills you. I also love the version where there's no pistil/stamen division, and everyone has vines/branches on their back and their own flower on their chest, and both partners grow a flower on their back when they have sex. Villainous venom stamens (and heroic anti-stamens/anti-pistils) are welcome if you want some drama.
I love the trope of magical tattoos, but I'm also interested in how they shape people's attitudes towards their own sex lives, influence their behaviour, and how having a visible record of intimate encounters might affect how they display themselves to others - or not.
Does their homophobic society, and the fact that a secret tryst would have very visible results, mean Simon and Anthony mutually pine while fearing to confess their feelings? Or do they get together, but make sure the stamen always bottoms (whichever one of them that is), so the flower doesn't transfer - and then angst that there's no record of their love? Is Simon ashamed of being a pistil, rejected by his father for not being a stamen? Do rakish pistamens Simon and Anthony compete to fill up their tattoos faster than the other - even as they pine for the one flower they think they can't have? Maybe one of them is a venom stamen who can easily hold back the poison in casual encounters, but fears that their intense feelings mean they'd poison their best friend, which would be disastrous in a casual relationship - and so never makes a move, not realising the pistil would happily commit to them?
Maybe they eventually get together, and swap flowers as a tender act of intimacy - and then angst about hiding their backs, in case anyone realises whose flower that is? (Maybe one of the other Bridgertons, like Daphne or Benedict, figures it out and is gently reassuring while promising to keep the secret.) Maybe they fuck, due to a drunken hookup or sex pollen - and then keep fucking, until their tattoos fill up and shed all their flowers, hiding what they did. Only now they both want to keep doing it. There are so many choices they could make in a pistilverse, and I'm fascinated by what those would be.

Diana Prince/Steve Trevor
I love that they're both competent, but that Diana really got to shine as a badass - and that Steve, despite the attitudes of his time period, was impressed by her. Diana is so determined and forthright, but the culture clash and her mostly-theoretical knowledge means she starts off quite naive and has to learn how to deal with the complexities of the wider world. Steve is trying hard to be a good man and make a difference, but he's clearly seen terrible things during the war and he has to be haunted by them. They make such a good team, both as adventurers and as a couple, and I'd love to see them in a happy established relationship. (Okay, angst is fine too. Especially if it results in hurt/comfort!)
I'm combining these two into one prompt, so you can decide where on the spectrum of realism and myth you want it to be. I just really liked the Ancient Greek vibes of the Amazons, and want to see that deepened and extended to the whole canon - although I'm not expecting historical accuracy. (But if you happen to know a lot about the subject, feel free to go wild with it!)
So, Diana is still an Amazon, except now the war she's trying to stop is a Bronze Age one. And Steve is maybe a hoplite or something? You could pull from the Trojan War for inspiration, or hew closer to the first film's original plot. If you want more mythic influence, you could bring in details like quests on the Argo, minotaurs and labyrinths, magical artifacts, and interactions with the gods. If there's a particular Greek myth you think would map well onto them, you could go with that, or pick pieces from different ones. And maybe Diana still has the lasso of truth? But I want them to get a happy ending, with Steve surviving this time - or maybe he dies, but Diana goes down to the underworld, and successfully brings him back? I don't have a specific direction here, I'm just fascinated to see where you could take this.
(Obviously "Steve" is not an Ancient Greek name, but for the sake of me not being really confused I'd prefer you keep the name. Maybe you could say it's a nickname? Or that he's from a "distant land"? Or just ignore the subject, that's fine too.)

Does Steve have an unobtrusive daemon, something that's useful going undercover? Maybe a plain-looking dog, loyal but secretly fierce. Maybe the trauma of war means his daemon has resettled, from something fun and cheerful to something quiet and weary, like a raven. Or maybe his daemon keeps resettling, over and over, which is useful for going undercover too - but grinds down his weary soul.
Maybe as an Amazon and the daughter of Zeus, Diana has a rare and mythological animal as a daemon, which causes a stir wherever she goes once she leaves Themyscira. Or something large, powerful and majestic - like a lion. Or a huge dog, strong but kind. Maybe the magic of Themyscira means her daemon never settled - but it's shocked into one form by the experience of war... or by the intimacy of losing her virginity to Steve.
I'm also interested in how each person interacts with their daemon, with the other's daemon, and how the daemons interact with each other. Do their daemons cuddle up after a long day crossing a war-torn Europe? Does the lasso of truth have an interesting effect upon daemons? Is Diana happy to let Steve touch her daemon, or to touch his, but he's reluctant to be so emotionally intimate? Maybe Steve accepts that touch in Veld, before they sleep together. Maybe he only touches Diana's daemon during the final battle, as he hands her his watch? (But it'd be great if he could survive the war, thanks. Maybe Diana can cope with a greater distance from her daemon, and sends it with Steve, and it saves him?) Also if you want to work any soulmate tropes into this, I'm into that.
They fall in love and Steve dies in that plane explosion - but when he comes back (maybe earlier than the 80s) he isn't possessing someone else's body. It's really him, he's just been reborn. And now Diana has to find her reincarnated love and restore his memories of his past life. Does she feel a strange pull towards a place she's never been? Meet an oracle who gives her a cryptic prophecy? Have mysterious dreams where he's calling to her? But something leads her to Steve. Maybe he recognises her (almost) immediately, or maybe she struggles to ignite his memory - but finally, he remembers her, and they can be a couple again.
Maybe they're pulled into a dangerous adventure and Diana loses Steve again. Maybe they get to spend longer together, with Steve dying of old age. And then the cycle starts all over again, with him being reborn and her being pulled to his reincarnation, and them becoming a couple again. Maybe sometimes they're only reunited for a short time, maybe Diana finds better ways to protect him and keep him longer, but every time she loses him she knows he'll find his way back to her - with the assurance of future happiness making the lonely years more bittersweet.
Feel free to incorporate a few reincarnations, or focus on just one. And if you want to make it a soulmate thing, go right ahead!
ALL: Omegaverse AU - Alpha/Omega
Steve survives the first film, and they get their happy ending. Maybe he's protected by some soulmate bond, maybe some other kind of magic, maybe he has a lucky escape - or maybe there isn't a plane about to explode. Or you could skip over the how and why, and focus on the aftermath, with them building a life together.
Do they choose to stay in London, with Etta and their friends, or go to America - or travel around? How many of the little things from Steve's speech, like breakfast and newspapers, do they get to indulge in? Maybe after all he saw (and did) during the war, Steve struggles to adjust to peacetime - maybe he even has nightmares, and some nights Diana has to comfort him. Maybe Steve survived, but not unscathed, and he has a permanent limp or chronic pain, and Diana gently helps him. Or maybe he was seriously injured, but slowly heals, with Diana nursing him back to health. I just want to see what would happen if they got to stay together. Maybe they'd even have children, get to raise them together, and be a happy family?

Alice Chambers/Frank Carlson
I loved the mindfuckery aspects of this film, and Frank was so compellingly creepy that I both wanted to run away and couldn't take my eyes off him. Their intellectual rivalry and mind games, with Frank daring Alice to work out what's really going on, sparked such good chemistry between them, and I'd love to see more in that vein - or maybe Frank alters Alice's memory to keep her unknowing and compliant. If you want to do smut, I'm happy for it to be anywhere from noncon to dubcon to fully consensual (if maybe conflicted and/or filled with shame).
Considering the nature of the relationships in this canon, I have no problem with either Alice or Frank "cheating" on their partners. Also happy for Alice/Jack and Frank/Shelley to be happening in the background. Jack can be alive or dead (or you can kill him off again) but if Shelley exists I want her to survive.
It's the 1950s for real - which means there's no easy escape for Alice, and Frank and his employees are up to something different. Working on a new weapon? Or a mind serum, which they've been using on the women of Victory as part of their experiments? But Alice gets the same suspicions that Frank isn't to be trusted - even as he focuses his attentions more and more on her.
Does Alice eventually give in to her attraction to Frank? (Maybe even at Jack's urging, hoping to gain favour with his boss?) Or does Frank simply take what he wants, knowing that nobody would ever believe Alice - or that they'd blame her for it. When Alice figures out what's going on, does she beg Jack to flee, and this time he agrees in earnest - but an enraged Frank chases them down? Or does Jack betray her again, letting Frank use the mind serum on her? Maybe Alice still snaps and kills Jack - but now she has a real problem. She's got a dead body, there's no exit to another world, and the whole town is watching her every move. Does Frank find her, taunt her, pin her down and fuck her? Or sweetly offer her a deal - he'll cover everything up for her, give her money to live on, if she'll agree to be his mistress? (Or his new wife.)
What happens when nothing the men do has any consequences, but there'll always be consequences for Alice?
ALL: BDSM - Canon Hierarchy Is Now Also BDSM Hierarchy
ALL: BDSM - Dominance/Submission/Switch are biologically innate
There are so many places where the plotline could diverge. What if Frank made a move on Alice after finding her in his bedroom, or did more than tease her in the kitchen at her dinner party? What if Alice didn't take his bait, and reveal how much (how little) she knows, and only used her dinner party to gain more intel - and thus didn't get mindwiped that night? Maybe Alice's memories still break through, and she kills Jack - but it's Frank who finds her with Jack's body, not Bunny. Does he capture her? Tease her? Goad her into angsty hate sex?
Maybe Alice still goes on the run, and Frank's goons catch her, and bring her back to him. What is he going to do with such a disobedient woman? Maybe instead of trying to flee, Alice goes for a final showdown with Frank. Do she and Shelley work together to bring him down - but without killing him, so he can face justice in the real world? Does Shelley escape Victory instead, and Alice has to take Frank down alone? Maybe she fails - and Frank decides she'll be his new wife, to replace the escaped Shelley. I also requested both Forced Marriage and Villain Wins AUs below, if you want more detailed prompts for any of those scenarios, but I'd be happy for Alice to succeed - as long as her relationship with Frank is stormy and intense.
I'm really interested in the psychological claustrophobia of cults, and the social coercion that results, and that has a lot of parallels with how Frank operates in canon. You could set this in the modern day, in the 1950s, or anywhere in between.
When Jack encourages Alice to join him on these new personal development courses he's got into, it seems harmless enough. But Frank, the leader of Victory Mindset, singles Alice out and tells her she has real potential. Alice slowly gets drawn into the spider's web, and by the time she realises just how dangerous and unhealthy Frank's methods for "helping" his followers are, she's in so deep that getting out won't be easy... Or maybe, despite the unsettling feeling inside her, Alice never manages to see through Frank's mask at all. But he's going to use his control and influence to manipulate Alice into a secret, sexual relationship with him. Maybe Frank even flatters Jack into encouraging Alice, into believing that his leader fucking his girlfriend/wife will be the best thing for everyone.
It's up to you if their daemons get pulled into Victory with them, or if the daemons are an artifact of Victory itself.
Does Alice have a small and affectionate daemon, maybe a dog or a cat? Except when she's hallucinating or experiencing other strange things, her daemon's form seems to flicker? Maybe she has a feeling her daemon used to be something else, even dreams about it having another form - because having her memory altered also forced her daemon to resettle. Maybe her daemon slowly takes on traits of its old form - and that's a clue to Frank that she's breaking through her brainwashing?
Frank presumably has something big, sleek and showy. A large and immaculate dog, which sometimes snarls to reveal sharp teeth? Some kind of big cat, lithe and elegant, with claws that slide out when Frank's voice takes on a warning tone?
I'm also interested in how each person interacts with their daemon, with the other's daemon, and how the daemons interact with each other. Does Frank encroach on Alice's daemon, holding out his hand as if threatening to touch - or maybe he does touch it, entirely casual about crossing that boundary? Or does Alice's daemon nuzzle up with his, even as she's trying to rebuff his advances, hoping he can't see her attraction to him? Maybe Frank's daemon pins Alice's as a warning - or as he prepares to send her to be mindwiped, or to noncon her. Maybe Alice discovers that, among Frank's other evils, he's been experimenting with intercision - and plans to cut every woman's link to her daemon, leaving them all blank and compliant. Does he threaten Alice with intercision, and that's why she agrees to sleep with him - but when he strokes her daemon in the aftermath, the terrible intimacy of that additional violation leaves her shuddering?
Frank forces Alice to become his new wife. Maybe he finds her standing over Jack's dead body instead of Bunny, and she can't escape - but he promises to be kind, if she'll surrender everything to him. Maybe Frank simply tires of Shelley, tires of watching Jack with the woman he really wants, and uses his memory alteration methods to arrange things to his liking? Maybe he lets Alice keep her memories, believing that she really wants him - or that she'll grow to do so. And maybe he's right. Or maybe he erases her memory, and Alice happily marries him - until the cracks in her psyche begin to appear again. What happens when she figures it out? Can she escape? Or does Frank overpower her, mindwipe her again, and return to his happy life as her husband? Maybe he even "gets her pregnant" and codes children for them?
And how do they consummate their marriage? Does Frank fuck Alice right in front of the altar, in front of everyone, to publicly stake his claim to her? Does he allow her a private consummation that night, just the two of them, intense and tender - if maybe reluctant on her part? Or does he wait for her, slowly wearing down her resolve, until she loses all hope and spreads her legs for him? Maybe he plans to wait - but her continuing refusal enrages him, and he mindwipes her so she agrees... or simply takes what he's been lusting for, despite her protests.

I love the trope of magical tattoos, but I'm also interested in how they shape people's attitudes towards their own sex lives, influence their behaviour, and how having a visible record of intimate encounters might affect how they display themselves to others - or not.
I'm imagining Alice as a pistil and Frank as a stamen here, as that would reflect the way women's sexual history is policed, and the possessive nature of Victory, whereas Frank has the freedom to do whatever he wants. Maybe Alice loves the way her back fills up with Jack's flowers, and doesn't want to ruin that by accepting Frank's flower - but when she has one spot left and she knows it would shed immediately, maybe she's more tempted by Frank's advances. Maybe Frank catches Alice and Jack fucking, and secretly watches as another flower appears on Alice's back - maybe even masturbating, imagining it as his own flower. Maybe sometimes, when Alice catches sight of her own tattoo in the mirror, for just a second some of the flowers don't look like Jack's - and she thinks her mind must be playing tricks on her, because she's never been with anyone else. But when Frank throws a pool party, and Alice recognises his flower, she gets a sick feeling in her stomach.
Does Frank prefer fucking Alice from behind, so he can watch his flower appear on her back? Maybe Frank is a venom stamen, and threatens/teases Alice about poisoning her as they have sex, whether it's a consensual, dubcon or noncon situation. Maybe Frank being a venom stamen is one reason Alice is reluctant to sleep with him - but one night he presses in close, whispering low, promising to hold back the poison... and keeps his word. (At least until Jack dies, when he claims Alice for himself, forever.) Maybe Alice breaks through the brainwashing, remembers she's an anti-pistil, and pretends to submit to Frank in a final confrontation - only to twist their union to her own ends, using her ability to break his power. Or maybe Alice fails to escape, and Frank keeps her captive forever, endlessly filling her tattoo up with his flowers - claiming her again every time her tattoo sheds his mark. There are so many choices they could make in a pistilverse, and I'm fascinated by what those would be.
Alice is a student at Frank's sex magic college. She gets along with her assigned partner Jack, but she can't help but be attracted to her charismatic older teacher - or be flattered by Frank taking a special interest in her. Maybe he likes to use her (and Jack) as examples in class, casually touching her to correct her form, or steer the spell - or stepping in himself to demonstrate what Jack should be doing, pushing inside Alice for a few thrusts before nonchalantly resuming his lecture.
Maybe Frank offers Alice some personal tuition, or asks for her help with a special spell, and she's excited to receive his exclusive attention. And it's always an intense and pleasurable experience - with him praising her work, calling her a good girl afterwards. But maybe Alice slowly becomes suspicious about Frank's motives - and what these spells, or the entire college, is really for. Maybe she realises he's powering himself up, ready to usurp their fantasy kingdom's ruler. Or he's siphoning off the students' magic, extending his own life - or maybe stealing her lifeforce specifically. But until she can collect the evidence to prove it, or amass the power to defeat him, she's going to have to play along - moaning and smiling as Frank fucks her again. Until she takes a final stand and brings him down - if Frank isn't too powerful to be stopped. Or maybe he figures out her plan, and binds her magic first, maybe even wiping her memory - keeping her as a "willing" source of magic.
Alice never manages to escape. Frank catches her, either when she's running for the exit or when she's lying there with Jack's body, and imprisons her. Maybe he keeps her in luxury, plying her with delicious foods and distractions, slowly wearing down her resolve until she surrenders to his advances. Maybe he keeps her bound and ready, legs spread, and takes her any time he wants - even if she protests, even if she cries. Maybe he coerces her into sleeping with him, with the threat of pain or of wiping her memory if she doesn't agree. Maybe he does just wipe her memory, keeping her oblivious and compliant, a happy wife caught in his spider's web.
However it happens, Frank triumphs over Alice, and she's stuck in Victory forever - and he's determined to indulge his attraction to her as often, and as intensely, as he feels the urge. Or maybe Frank takes her out of Victory - he used the info Jack provided, and now Frank has her actual body in his clutches... and he wants to experience the real thing. Maybe even to impregnate her with his actual child. In Victory or out, there's no escape for Alice.
This could be in the modern day or in the 1950s, but Frank is a vampire and Alice smells utterly delicious to him. Maybe they meet because he's Jack's friend (or boss) or maybe they meet some other way.
But Frank slowly draws a dazzled Alice in, carefully seducing her, until she lets him feed from her - or maybe just bites her right away. Maybe he uses his hypnotic eyes or voice to make her forget what he is and what he's doing to her, and Alice is confused about why she's so tired now, why she keeps waking up with two strange marks on her neck. Or maybe Frank feeding from her is almost orgasmically good, and Alice keeps offering herself to him, even as she's conflicted about it. Maybe he fucks her too, giving her real and incredible orgasms.
Does she ever manage to break free of his control? Does she remain his thrall for the rest of her life? Or does Frank decide he wants to keep her forever - and turns Alice into a vampire too?
This is another film with Chris Pine as a charismatic villain, exerting control over an isolated and supposedly utopian society, and I'd love to see how the DWD characters deal with the problems of Rosas instead - there are parallels, but they're not quite the same, and I think that would be interesting.
So, Victory as Rosas, with Frank using wish magic to keep everyone happy - and make them forget the things that he doesn't want them to remember. Alice is initially happy, but maybe she begins to see a pattern in who gets their wishes granted - it's only ever the men, never the women. (Except maybe Shelley, or Bunny.) Or maybe Frank starts taking an interest in her, and she's flattered by his attentions, maybe even going to bed with her charming king - but the more intimate their relationship becomes, the more Alice suspects that something isn't right with Frank. Maybe Frank invites Alice to be his apprentice, and she agrees, and sees his magic up close - and maybe Frank slowly uses it to influence her, or to mess with her memory. Or he declares he's going to "grant her wish" - only it's not her wish, he's altered it to make her agree to be his wife. But however it goes, the cracks start appearing, and Alice realises something is wrong.
Maybe, instead of wishing on a Star, Alice is determined to take Frank down alone - setting up a cat-and-mouse chase as she tries to figure out his plans, and work out a way to break his control over the wishes, or to win over the other citizens of Victory. Does Frank turn to the forbidden book, and embrace the green magic to keep Alice under his thumb? Does he believe himself to be powerful enough to destroy her without it? Or did he use it long ago, and has been subtly corrupted this whole time? Is Alice clever enough to bring Frank down - or is intelligence not enough, and his magic will always outmatch her, leaving her at his mercy?
Doric/Xenk Yendar
We don't really get any focused moments between these two in the film, but Doric actually seems like the least hostile to Xenk from the beginning - ironic considering her stance on humans started as "hateful and selfish" and "just can't help but lie"... but then Xenk and his ridiculous paladin goodness are so obviously the opposite of that! If Xenk joined the party for further adventures, I like to imagine they'd become good friends.
I'm happy with this being a purely sexual encounter, with them indulging in some consensual casual sex or helping each other through a dubcon scenario, or a hesitant romantic relationship. Due to their angsty pasts, I headcanon Xenk as a virgin, and Doric could easily be one too - but maybe she has a bit of experience. Or maybe, if it's dubcon, Xenk is the experienced one gently looking after her. But if they grew up in a different world, they might've had a different sort of angst, with different effects?
(Please don't mention Simon and Doric breaking up. I'd rather you give them an open relationship, make it an AU where they were never into each other, or just ignore that ship altogether.)
ALL: BDSM - Dominance/Submission/Switch are biologically innate
Magical soul animals! This AU is just so appealing to my id. I'm really interested in the choice of species for each person's daemon, and how that reflects their personality - or highlights a facet of their personality, as there's usually multiple options that would fit each person. (And don't feel you have to go with one of my suggestions if you have a better idea!) I've read HDM, so if you want to use things like resettling, intercision, etc that aren't often incorporated into daemon AUs, I'm happy for you to do so - but just getting to see my blorbos with cool soul animals would make me very happy.
Doric is a druid, so maybe that has an effect on her daemon - like it has a preferred form, but can still change, maybe to match (or suit) Doric's wildshape? Maybe her daemon is a standoffish cat, which softens as they warm up to people? Or maybe being a tiefling and a druid, Doric's daemon is something not normally seen as a daemon - a rare and magical animal, even a "monster"?
Maybe Xenk has a large, sleek dog - strong and elegant and loyal? Maybe being a paladin means he has a rare and magical animal? Or can he send it long distances, like a HDM witch? Or maybe the Beckoning Death corrupted his daemon, twisting its form, or marking it with Thayan tattoos? Or maybe, being sort of undead, Xenk no longer has a daemon at all.
I'm also interested in how each person interacts with their daemon, with the other's daemon, and how the daemons interact with each other. Daemons cuddling after a long day adventuring? Can they use their daemons to communicate while on a heist? How do their daemons affect going undercover? What happens if something (a stolen artifact or Simon's wild magic?) creates an unexpected soulbond? Are Doric and Xenk allowed to touch each other's daemons, and for what reason - comfort when severely wounded, as a sign of growing intimacy?
Hogwarts is still such a cosy world for me and I love the idea of my blorbos as students there. I will eat up the inclusion of familiar worldbuilding, from small details sprinkled throughout - like them eating Bertie Botts' Every Flavour Beans or chocolate frogs, frantically scribbling homework in the common room, receiving owl post, etc - to bigger events like Quidditch matches, the house cup, visiting Hogsmeade, or dealing with dramatic plots outside of lessons.
I'm fine with you condensing the ages so they're both at Hogwarts together. Maybe Xenk is a prefect in his final year, and Doric is a year younger? Although if you're going to write them getting hot and heavy, please make them both 18 instead.
I'm always interested in who gets put into which house, and I don't have any set ideas about that here. They could be in the same house, and pulled together that way, or different ones, and become a pair some other way. Gryffindor or Hufflepuff would work for either of them. Maybe everyone (except Doric) is suspicious of Xenk because he's a Slytherin - or the only one from a Slytherin family to be put in another house. They could be from wizarding families or muggleborn - maybe Doric's muggle parents don't approve of their daughter being magical?
Is Doric a Metamorphmagus? Or teaching herself to become an Animagus - or has she already succeeded? Does her natural talent at herbology impress quietly studious Xenk? Maybe Xenk, instead of being slightly undead, is now a werewolf? Plotwise, Doric discovering that fact (and helping to keep Xenk safe) would be interesting. But there could also be drama over Quidditch, or other progress in the house cup, or maybe they could discover something dark and dangerous while sneaking around at night. Or maybe this is a fluffy story, following their daily lives, as they attend lessons and struggle with spells and joke around in the common room together?
There really are so many possibilities here, and I'd love to see what you think would happen to these two if they were at Hogwarts - there are way more things than I could mention, so go with what inspires you.
ALL: Omegaverse AU - Alpha/Omega
I love the version where the pistil gets a flower every time they have sex, and when their vines/branches fill up they just shed all the flowers and start afresh. The version where a pistil only gets one flower per partner, and their tattoo grows every time it fills up, can be really interesting with some plots too. Not into the version where having a lot of sexual partners eventually kills you. I also love the version where there's no pistil/stamen division, and everyone has vines/branches on their back and their own flower on their chest, and both partners grow a flower on their back when they have sex. Venom stamens (and anti-stamens/anti-pistils) are welcome if you want some drama.
I love the trope of magical tattoos, but I'm also interested in how they shape people's attitudes towards their own sex lives, influence their behaviour, and how having a visible record of intimate encounters might affect how they display themselves to others - or not.
Maybe Doric's druid abilities mean her vines/branches are more animated than normal, growing leaves, even showing birds nesting, changing with the seasons - and Xenk is fascinated when she casually reveals it, even as he's surprised to see there's no flowers growing on it. Maybe Xenk is worried that losing his own virginity, and gaining a flower, would compromise the purity of his paladin vows. Or maybe the Beckoning Death warped his tattoo, twisting the vines towards the shape of Szass Tam's mark, and Xenk fears it's poisoned him and sleeping with anyone would kill him - or made him a venom pistamen, who would poison any partner, binding them to him. But maybe Doric understands the tattoos in a way most people don't, and can reassure him?
Maybe sex pollen - or an omegaverse heat, a fuck or die situation, or some other dubcon thing - pushes them into having sex, and Xenk angsts about Doric bearing his flower and/or bearing hers himself, until Doric tenderly reassures him. Maybe Doric's druid magic means she can use her tattoo to heal a cursed grove, but only with Xenk's help - and he accepts the exchange of flowers for that reason. Or maybe they have a tender and intimate encounter after confessing their feelings, and are pleased to both gain their first flowers.
There are so many choices they could make in a pistilverse, and I'm fascinated by what those would be.
Edgin Darvis/Doric
While trying to recruit her, Edgin was definitely using all his charm (although not in a sexual way) but Doric seemed utterly immune to it. I loved the tender moment when Edgin was sitting on the rock on the beach: his little smile as she walked over, the way she gently patted his shoulder and he patted hers in return, and she smiled back. Maybe his charm would be more welcome now they have a genuine connection, or maybe she'd be the one to instigate it.
I'd love to see something fun and casual between them, some hesitant romantic feelings, or some dubcon (sex pollen, fuck-or-die, omegaverse heat, etc) where they look after each other and have no regrets after. Maybe Edgin would be a little worried about the age difference, but Doric is so blunt and practical that she wouldn't quietly do something she was uncomfortable with.
(Please don't mention Simon and Doric breaking up. I'd rather you give them an open relationship, make it an AU where they were never into each other, or just ignore that ship altogether.)

Maybe Doric catches Edgin looking at his own reflection, sadly staring at Zia's flower, and they have a tender moment together. Maybe Edgin flirts with a lot of people, and Doric's always assumed he sleeps around a lot, but maybe when she sees his tattoo it's just the same flower over and over.
Maybe sex pollen - or an omegaverse heat, a fuck or die situation, or some other dubcon thing - pushes them into having sex, and Edgin angsts about Doric bearing his flower, until Doric tenderly reassures him. Maybe Edgin's always feared taking other partners, in case he fills his tattoo and sheds Zia's flowers, but Doric's druid abilities mean she can make Zia's flower(s) permanent for him - but only if he has sex with her too. Or maybe it's a one-flower-per-partner scenario, and Edgin did sleep around - until he had one night with venom stamen Forge, and now can't fuck anyone else without dying. Except Doric is an anti-stamen/anti-pistamen, and she offers to cure him. Or maybe Edgin and Doric just have a tender and intimate encounter after confessing their feelings, and exchanging flowers is a positive experience. There are so many choices they could make in a pistilverse, and I'm fascinated by what those would be.
Edgin Darvis/Xenk Yendar
I have so many feelings about these two. I love their banter and how they spark off each other, how Edgin sees Xenk as an enemy but then grows to respect him and doesn't want him to leave, how Xenk is frustrated with Edgin's criminal tendencies but fully believes in his goodness and is determined to draw it out... Making Edgin swear on the Harper's seal, then tenderly touching his hand? In fact, all of the hand-holding, and the offers of hand-holding. I'd love to see how their relationship develops, either in that world or in another.
These two are so good for mutual pining. Maybe Xenk thinks he can't be with anyone because of his duty as a paladin, or because the Beckoning Death has left him cursed, partially undead, lacking part of his soul, etc. Maybe Edgin finds out Xenk is a virgin and assumes the guy isn't interested in sex at all. (I do headcanon Xenk as a virgin.) Or Edgin thinks Xenk's too noble and pure to want a criminal like him, or thinks Xenk wants someone more serious or more intellectual. Xenk thinking Edgin's too charming and sociable to want someone as awkward and unbending as him... I love the angsty possibilities of all this, the two of them keeping their feelings secret even as they're practically bursting with longing. Especially as both of them are so touchy-feely! They must be torturing each other.

I'm fine with you condensing the ages so they're both at Hogwarts together. Maybe Edgin and Xenk (and Holga) are in their final year? Xenk seems the prefect type, but maybe Edgin keeps getting detention - or almost got suspended/expelled after That Incident? And now Xenk is (un)officially keeping an eye on him? Or they could be younger, even as young as first years - but if you're going to write them getting hot and heavy, please make them both 18.

I love omegaverse, especially alpha/omega, and the tropes that come with that - the sex pollenlike nature of heats, the shades of dom/sub, the scents that communicate their feelings. I really want to see them indulging those instincts in bed - without changing their personalities outside the bedroom. (Although highlighting different facets of their existing personality is fine, e.g. protective alpha Xenk vs caring omega Xenk.) But I also love the more emotional ways those instincts can steer them when they're not having sex.
I'm equally interested in both alpha Edgin/omega Xenk and alpha Xenk/omega Edgin. Maybe omega Xenk has always resisted his urges, believing his vows or his curse keep him apart, or maybe worrying about being so vulnerable with someone. But whenever Edgin goes into Harper mode, and starts giving out orders, maybe Xenk's heart starts beating faster. Maybe alpha Edgin has an intense urge to protect Xenk, and is frustrated with the way the omega keeps throwing himself into danger. But after losing Zia, maybe Edgin's not ready to open up to someone else - thinking he couldn't protect strong omega Xenk more than Xenk himself already does?
Maybe alpha Xenk has always channelled his protective instincts into his paladin duties, and is unsettled and overwhelmed by the sudden need to look after Edgin in a different way. Maybe omega Edgin is happy being a charming and flirty bard, but his trauma over Zia means he hasn't shared his heart as well as his body - and he's refused to let anyone knot him. But stern, kind Xenk is stirring up forgotten feelings in him, and maybe bantering is Edgin's way of rebuffing that?
Whichever way you assign the roles, maybe they have to hide in a closet together during a heist, and the proximity means their scents fill the air - and neither of them can ignore the tenderness they're inhaling. Or maybe one of them is injured, and as the alpha pulls him close, the omega can't help but let his vulnerability and yearning slip into his scent? Maybe the omega goes into heat, but neither of them wants to take advantage of the other, so the alpha just holds the omega close - letting him smell his scent, soothing him as they resist the urge to fuck. Or maybe it's an overwhelmingly strong heat, and the omega needs a knot to dull the pain, so the alpha gently guides them through their first time together - whether they discuss their feelings before the act, during, or afterwards? Maybe they've already gotten together, and sex is now a regular thing. But a heat is still intense and intimate - especially if they decide it's time for a mating bite. Or maybe they just like to cuddle up and fall asleep wrapped in each other's scents after a long day adventuring.
I love the version where the pistil gets a flower every time they have sex, and when their vines/branches fill up they just shed all the flowers and start afresh. The version where a pistil only gets one flower per partner, and their tattoo grows every time it fills up, can be really interesting with some plots too. And he's unaware that pining Edgin would happily commit.
Maybe sex pollen - or an omegaverse heat, a fuck or die situation, or some other dubcon thing - pushes them into having sex, and they both angst about Xenk bearing Edgin's flower, until one of them confesses their feelings. Maybe Edgin's always feared taking other partners, in case he fills his tattoo and sheds Zia's flowers, but his new feelings for Xenk mean he's finally ready to let go. Or maybe it's a one-flower-per-partner scenario, and Edgin did sleep around - until he had one night with venom stamen Forge, and now can't fuck anyone else without dying. Except Xenk is an anti-stamen/anti-pistamen, and he solemnly offers to cure him. Simon Aumar/Doric
I love how soft Simon gets around Doric and I'd love to see her showing a softer side to him in return. (I do love Doric's spikiness though.) And I love that over the course of the film, she was very interested every time Simon's competency was shown or discussed - she was always into him, she just had this one dealbreaker, and then he fixed it! (Well, maybe he didn't entirely fix it: I love Simon having more confidence, but it might be nice to see him struggle a little - with Doric encouraging him, now she's convinced of his capability.) Does Doric have a competency kink?
Both of them have angsty pasts: Doric as a tiefling rejected by her parents, who's visibly an outsider wherever she goes; Simon as a sorcerer trying to live up to his family's long legacy of wizardry. Plus, as a half-elf, wherever he was raised, he was probably too human for the elves and too elven for the humans. As they get to know each other better, it'd be great to see them open up to each other about these things - or whatever equivalent angst they have in your chosen AU.
Maybe their courting is awkward at first, possibly hampered by Simon's tendency to break things or fall over, but I absolutely believe they're a good match and would love to see a happy relationship grow between them.
I tend to imagine Simon is a virgin, due to all his awkwardness at romance, and considering how disliked tieflings are Doric might be one too. But maybe she has some experience, and confidently reassures a nervous Simon.

Did Simon end up with a tiny, nervous daemon that he's a bit embarrassed about? Maybe a squirrel that keeps scurrying around? A nervous but amorous rabbit? Or maybe a little dog, which keeps tripping over its own legs, and has a tail that communicates all their feelings?
Doric is a druid, so maybe that has an effect on her daemon - like it has a preferred form, but can still change, maybe to match (or suit) Doric's wildshape? Maybe her daemon is a standoffish cat, which softens as they warm up to people? Obviously they'd have to be younger to be at Hogwarts, preferably in the same year together. They could be as young as first years - but if you're going to write them getting hot and heavy, please make them both 18 and in their final year.
I'm always interested in who gets put into which house, and I don't have any set ideas about that here. They could both be in the same house, and pulled together that way, or different ones, and become a pair some other way. Gryffindor or Hufflepuff would work for either of them. The fact that the Intellect Devourers ignored them all in the Underdark suggests none of them are natural Ravenclaws - but maybe Simon angsts about being the least intelligent Ravenclaw. Or is he the only one of his relatives to be a Hufflepuff? Simon obviously comes from a wizarding family, but Doric could be wizarding or muggleborn - maybe Doric's muggle parents don't approve of their daughter being magical?
Is Doric a Metamorphmagus? Or teaching herself to become an Animagus - or has she already succeeded? Is Simon worried he's a Squib who got let in by mistake? Maybe Doric has a talent for herbology, and Simon goes to her for help. Or there could also be drama over Quidditch, or other progress in the house cup, or maybe they could discover something dark and dangerous while sneaking around at night. Maybe Simon's embarrassed about his own complete lack of flowers on his back, but Doric reassures him it doesn't matter to her. After so much rejection in her life, maybe Doric's always been reluctant to accept anyone's flower - so exchanging flowers with Simon during their first time is a signal of vulnerability and trust, and it's a tender and intimate experience for them both. Maybe once they start fucking, they're eager to give each other as many flowers as possible, exchanging conspiratorial grins while in public. Maybe Edgin catches a glimpse of Simon's back, and cheerfully teases him about finally doing the deed - but Simon's new confidence means he shrugs Edgin's banter off. There are so many choices they could make in a pistilverse, and I'm fascinated by what those would be.
Simon Aumar/Edgin Darvis
I mostly imagine this happening pre-Korinn's Keep, in an "older man showing a younger one the ropes" kind of way, but I am definitely down with a more serious, romantic relationship or something set after the movie, as well as a setting change. (If you do set it post-movie, please don't mention Simon and Doric breaking up. I'd rather you give them an open relationship, make it an AU where they were never into each other, or just ignore that ship altogether.)
I love how Edgin is absolutely convinced of Simon's potential badassery (he has a mental list of all the times Simon's magic worked!) and how he's determined to make Simon believe it too - and this, for some reason, involves touching Simon's face a lot. Simon is awkward and sulky in the face of this, even though he's perfectly willing to trust Edgin and follow his lead in other areas. Would Edgin's charm and confidence carry over to the bedroom, or would he be earnest and vulnerable? Would Simon be anxious about his performance, or more willing to believe Edgin's reassurances? Depending on the situation, maybe Edgin feels too weird about the age difference, and isn't prepared to do more than kiss... until something pushes them into it.
Maybe Edgin has a dog too, bigger but more relaxed and friendly? Or a fox, flirty and cunning? Maybe his daemon resettled when Zia died, and it's now a wolf - still a pack animal, but wilder, less fond of society's rules?
I'm also interested in how each person interacts with their daemon, with the other's daemon, and how the daemons interact with each other. Daemons cuddling after a long day adventuring? Can they use their daemons to communicate while on a heist? How do their daemons affect going undercover? What happens if something (a stolen artifact or Simon's wild magic?) creates an unexpected soulbond? Are Simon and Edgin allowed to touch each other's daemons, and for what reason - comfort when severely wounded, as a sign of growing intimacy?
Hogwarts is still such a cosy world for me and I love the idea of my blorbos as students there. I will eat up the inclusion of familiar worldbuilding, from small details sprinkled throughout - like them eating Bertie Botts' Every Flavour Beans or chocolate frogs, frantically scribbling homework in the common room, receiving owl post, etc - to bigger events like Quidditch matches, the house cup, visiting Hogsmeade, or dealing with dramatic plots outside of lessons.
I'm fine with you condensing the ages so they're both at Hogwarts together. Maybe Edgin (and Holga) is in his final year, and Simon is a year younger? Although if you're going to write them getting hot and heavy, please make them both 18 instead.
I'm always interested in who gets put into which house, and I don't have any set ideas about that here. Simon obviously comes from a wizarding family, but Edgin could be wizarding or muggleborn, whichever works for your story.
Maybe Edgin (and Holga) is on the Quidditch team - but keeps getting benched for other misbehaviour? Is Simon worried he's a Squib who got let in by mistake? Maybe Simon keeps falling off his broom, and Edgin helps him learn to fly.
I love omegaverse, especially alpha/omega, and the tropes that come with that - the sex pollenlike nature of heats, the shades of dom/sub, the scents that communicate their feelings. I really want to see them indulging those instincts in bed - without changing their personalities outside the bedroom. But I also love the more emotional ways those instincts can steer them when they're not having sex.
I prefer alpha Edgin/omega Simon for this. Maybe Simon thinks Edgin would never be interested in him, but he can't help the way the man's alpha scent stirs feelings inside him. Or the way his heart starts beating faster whenever Edgin goes into Harper mode and starts giving out orders. But even when Edgin's being charming and protective, virgin Simon is nervous about being vulnerable with him, and so keeps quiet about his attraction. Maybe young Simon triggers all of Edgin's protective urges - but that youth means Edgin is reluctant to make an advance, not wanting to push his omega friend into anything. And maybe Edgin's lingering trauma over Zia means he's uncomfortable about opening up, or worries about his ability to really look after Simon.
Maybe they end up having to hide in a closet together during a heist, and the proximity means their scents fill the air - and neither of them can ignore the tenderness they're inhaling. Or maybe Simon gets injured, and as Edgin pulls him close, Simon can't help but let his vulnerability and yearning slip into his scent? Maybe Simon goes into heat, but he's a bundle of nerves, and Edgin doesn't want to take advantage him, so Edgin just holds Simon close - letting him smell his scent, soothing him as they resist the urge to fuck. Or maybe it's an overwhelmingly strong heat, and Simon needs a knot to dull the pain, so Edgin gently guides them through their first time together. Maybe they already have an established relationship, and sex is now a regular thing, for fun or during heats. But a heat is still intense and intimate, especially as Simon's still getting used to being knotted. Or maybe Simon just likes the comfort of being wrapped in Edgin's alpha scent - whether sharing a room at an inn, or locked in a prison cell together.
Maybe Simon's embarrassed about his complete lack of flowers on his back, but he's also too nervous - or too awkward - to make a move on anyone. Does Edgin see Simon's bare tattoo, and fondly tease him - until he realises how down Simon is about it? Maybe Simon catches Edgin looking at his own reflection, sadly staring at Zia's flower, and they have a tender moment together.
Maybe sex pollen - or an omegaverse heat, a fuck or die situation, or some other dubcon thing - pushes them into having sex, and Edgin angsts about Simon bearing his flower, until Simon awkwardly but eagerly reassures him. Or maybe when Edgin discovers Simon's a virgin, he offers to give him his first flower - and Simon eagerly accepts. Maybe they even become friends with benefits, with Edgin filling a delighted Simon's vines for him. Or maybe it's a one-flower-per-partner scenario, and Edgin used to sleep around - until he had one night with venom stamen Forge, and now can't fuck anyone else without dying. Except Simon is an anti-stamen/anti-pistamen, and he nervously offers to cure him. Or maybe Edgin and Simon just have a tender and intimate encounter after confessing their feelings, and exchanging flowers is a positive experience. There are so many choices they could make in a pistilverse, and I'm fascinated by what those would be.
Simon Aumar/Xenk Yendar
In the film, Simon mostly seems to get on Xenk's nerves (being sarcastic! destroying the bridge!) but he's not doing it on purpose and I really think if they spent more time together they could become good friends - and then more. Despite his initial jealousy, Simon is eager for Xenk to stay at the end. But maybe Simon worries that Xenk doesn't like him, or doesn't respect him? And Xenk isn't great at social interaction, so he might not realise Simon feels that way, or might not know how to explain that he actually does care. Potentially some angst there, but I'd also love some fluff.
I imagine this as a hesitant relationship ("let's see where this goes"), maybe something that happens due to outside circumstances (e.g. accidental soulbond), or perhaps a one-time deal during a dubcon scenario that they end up enjoying but don't intend to repeat. Would love to see them being soft towards each other, showing some tenderness after they develop a friendship and learn how to relate to each other.
I tend to imagine both of them as virgins (partly because of how I interpret their personalities, partly because virginity loss is just hot to me) but I would also be interested in a confident, experienced Xenk looking after Simon, especially in a sex pollen or omegaverse scenario.
(Please don't mention Simon and Doric breaking up. I'd rather you give them an open relationship, make it an AU where they were never into each other, or just ignore that ship altogether.)

Is Simon worried he's a Squib who got let in by mistake? Does quietly brilliant Xenk offer to help Simon study? Maybe Xenk, instead of being slightly undead, is now a werewolf? Plotwise, Simon discovering that fact (and helping to keep Xenk safe) would be interesting. But there could also be drama over Quidditch, or other progress in the house cup, or maybe they could discover something dark and dangerous while sneaking around at night. Maybe Simon's embarrassed about his complete lack of flowers on his back, but he's also too nervous - or too awkward - to make a move on anyone. Does Xenk see it, and reassure a surprised Simon that his tattoo is bare as well? Maybe Xenk is worried that losing his own virginity, and gaining a flower, would compromise the purity of his paladin vows. Or maybe the Beckoning Death warped his tattoo, twisting the vines towards the shape of Szass Tam's mark, and Xenk fears it's poisoned him and sleeping with anyone would kill him - or made him a venom pistamen, who would poison any partner, binding them to him. But Simon's magical abilities means he knows that isn't true.
Maybe sex pollen - or an omegaverse heat, a fuck or die situation, or some other dubcon thing - pushes them into having sex, and Xenk angsts about Simon bearing his flower and/or bearing Simon's himself, until Simon nervously reassures him. Or maybe they have a tender and intimate encounter after confessing their feelings, and are pleased to both gain their first flowers. There are so many choices they could make in a pistilverse, and I'm fascinated by what those would be.
Simon Aumar & Edgin Darvis & Kira Darvis & Doric & Holga Kilgore & Xenk Yendar
I love the found family that the party develop over the course of the film, and really want to see Kira and Xenk included in that as they have new adventures together. I'm looking for banter, tender feelings, protectiveness, and/or the interplay between everyone's different personalities. I love all of these blorbos: awkward but earnest Simon; charming and angsty Edgin; earnest but hurting Kira; spiky and righteous Doric; gruff but secretly caring Holga; stern but kind Xenk. There are so many possibilities for their group. Fluff, angst, action-adventure and hurt/comfort are all great!
(Feel free to include any of my requested ships in the background, even if I didn't request these AUs for them.)

Kira's young enough that maybe her daemon hasn't settled yet - or maybe Edgin and Holga being sent to Revel's End forced her to grow up, and that made her daemon settle. Who is she becoming?
Doric is a druid, so maybe that has an effect on her daemon - like it has a preferred form, but can still change, maybe to match (or suit) Doric's wildshape? Maybe her daemon is a standoffish cat, which softens as they warm up to people? Or maybe being a tiefling and a druid, Doric's daemon is something not normally seen as a daemon - a rare and magical animal, even a "monster"?
Is Holga's daemon as strong and solid as she is? A huge dog that watches on in silence? A wolf that likes to nap but radiates its coiled power? Does it have magical tattoos that match Holga's Elk Tribe ones?
Maybe Xenk has a large, sleek dog - strong and elegant and loyal? Maybe being a paladin means he has a rare and magical animal? Or can he send it long distances, like a HDM witch? Or maybe the Beckoning Death corrupted his daemon, twisting its form, or marking it with Thayan tattoos? Or maybe, being sort of undead, Xenk no longer has a daemon at all.
I'm also interested in how each person interacts with their daemon, with the others' daemons, and how the daemons interact with each other. Daemon cuddlepile after a long day adventuring? I'm fine with you condensing the ages so they're all at Hogwarts together - maybe Kira is Edgin's younger sister instead of daughter, now in her first year? Maybe Edgin, Holga and Xenk are in their final year, with Simon and Doric somewhere in between? Xenk seems the prefect type, but maybe Edgin and Holga keep getting detention - or almost got suspended/expelled after That Incident? And now Xenk is (un)officially keeping an eye on them?
I'm always interested in who gets put into which house, and I don't have any set ideas about that here. They could all be in the same house, and pulled together that way, or different ones, and become a group some other way. Gryffindor or Hufflepuff would work for any of them. Maybe they're all suspicious of Xenk because he's a Slytherin - or the only one from a Slytherin family to be put in another house. The fact that the Intellect Devourers ignored them all in the Underdark suggests none of them are natural Ravenclaws - but maybe Simon angsts about being the least intelligent Ravenclaw. Or is he the only one of his relatives to be a Hufflepuff? Simon obviously comes from a wizarding family, but anyone else could be wizarding or muggleborn - maybe Doric's muggle parents don't approve of their daughter being magical?
Maybe Edgin and Holga are Quidditch players - but keep getting benched for other misbehaviour? Is little Kira trying to imitate their legacy, or find her own path? Is Doric a Metamorphmagus? Or teaching herself to become an Animagus - or has she already succeeded? Is Simon worried he's a Squib who got let in by mistake? Maybe Xenk, instead of being slightly undead, is now a werewolf? Plotwise, the others discovering that fact (and helping to keep Xenk safe) would be interesting. But there could also be drama over Quidditch, or other progress in the house cup, or maybe they could discover something dark and dangerous while sneaking around at night. Or maybe this is a fluffy story, following their daily lives, as they attend lessons and struggle with spells and joke around in the common room together?

I love characters cooking and baking, and this show just has such a wholesome, comforting vibe - with a side order of innuendos. I'd love to see them all competing on the show, dealing with the stress of the time, creating interesting recipes, expressing themselves through food - and supporting each other as the going gets tough.
Does Holga insist on sneaking potatoes into everything? Is Kira a young but brilliant baker whose raw talent balances out her inexperience with technique? Maybe Edgin likes to experiment with flavour, or struggles with the signature but saves himself with a flashy showstopper? Does Simon keep having mini disasters and have to be given a cuddle mid-bake? Maybe Doric specialises in homegrown or foraged ingredients? Is Xenk the well-read baker who's somehow always heard of the technical? Even if this is taking place in some vague version of modern Britain, feel free to have the characters baking something from their canon culture - Thay, the Elk Tribe, wood elves...
I'm fine with OCs or minor characters as the hosts/judges - maybe Forge is a charming host? Jarnathan as a judge who gets lost when they send him outside for the technical? Maybe Elminster, which makes Simon even more nervous? Or maybe Xenk isn't a contestant, but the stern but fair judge that everyone wants a handshake from? Whatever works for you, feel free to concentrate on the contestants and gloss over the judging/presenting parts.
Nicholas Devereaux/Mia Thermopolis
This is such a great example of enemies to lovers. I love that they're kind and flirty at their first meeting, because they're immediately attracted to each other, and that even once they're enemies they can't hide that sexual tension. But their enmity is based on both seeking something only one of them can have rather than ideological differences: Nicholas seems more motivated by whether Mia's going to be a good queen and whether she really knows Genovia (and by his uncle's influence), and not a personal hunger for power. So once he's convinced of her capability (and she of his sincerity) and he gives up his claim to the crown, there's no question about whether they'd be able to find common ground.
I love both the push-and-pull of Nicholas flirting and Mia trying to resist (in the closet, by the fountain, the deleted scene in the kitchen) as well as them being soft and friendly with each other: Nicholas supporting Mia by helping with her archery, and the night they spend together before her wedding where we see them opening up emotionally, dancing close, and falling asleep in each other's arms. So I'd love a tropey AU post-canon continuation of that as their relationship develops, or is fully established, or a missing scene while Nicholas is still living at the palace and they keep running into each other. Or an AU that examines how they could get together (or grow together) in entirely different circumstances in an alternate Genovia.
I liked Andrew as a character so no bashing of him please, and it's fine to have Mia/Andrew's unromantic engagement happening in the background or to show them amicably breaking up. Also happy for Clarisse/Joe to be in the background, or for Lilly to visit again. Or cute appearances by Fat Louie the cat or Maurice the dog!
Genovia with BDSM dynamics! I'd love to see how this affects their flirtation, or their sexual interactions once they're an established couple. I'm equally interested in both dom Nicholas/sub Mia and dom Mia/sub Nicholas, so pick whichever you prefer.
Is Mia in danger of losing her crown because she's a sub? Does Nicholas's dominant tone make her weak at the knees, even as dom (or switch) Andrew leaves her cold? Does Nicholas guiding Mia through firing an arrow take on a different tone if they're dom and sub? Maybe one of Mabrey's tricks ends up forcing Mia into subspace, and Nicholas has to gently coax her out of it? And once they're together, how does the dom/sub aspect impact their physical displays of affection? Does Nicholas curl a commanding hand over Mia's nape as they kiss? Does Mia wear his collar as well as the crown? (Even if only in private?) Does Nicholas ever use the dom voice of command on a willing Mia? And, of course, the sex - is there bondage, kneeling, praise kink, orgasm control? Does it start with dom Nicholas gently guiding nervous Mia through surrendering her virginity to him? And does he provide gentle guidance outside the bedroom, when Mia's performing queenly duties?
Or does dom Mia worry that nobody would ever submit to her, just like she's struggling to keep her crown? When he's trying to distract her from Andrew, does Nicholas tease Mia with suggestions of his submission to her rule, even bait her into taking control? Does he unexpectedly find himself getting weak at the knees when he sees what a strong and caring ruler she could be? Does Mia slip and let a little too much command into her voice when they're arguing, causing Nicholas to falter, leaving both of them guilty and conflicted? Does Nicholas kneeling and confessing his love take on a different dimension? And once they're together, how does the dom/sub aspect impact their physical displays of affection? Does Mia get more confident and possessive in her kisses? Does Nicholas wear her collar when she wears her crown? Does an eager Nicholas encourage Mia to use the full force of her command voice on him? And, of course, the sex - is there bondage, kneeling, praise kink, orgasm control? Maybe even discipline or painplay? I'll be honest: when Nicholas said "you can step on my foot anytime", my brain heard "hurt me, mistress", so... But maybe it starts with inexperienced (even virginal) Mia learning how to master her sub, as they have sex for the first time. And do they find a different sort of satisfaction in Nicholas always lingering, at her side or one step behind, as they attend formal events?
Rather than openly setting Nicholas up as Mia's rival, maybe Mabrey engineers their engagement instead - with the idea that Nicholas will dump Mia at the altar, just as her thirty days runs out, leaving Nicholas the only viable heir.
Does Mabrey encourage Nicholas to woo Mia, flirting and playing the suitor, to convince her to go through with it? Maybe it'd be a softer romancing than the one in the film (now that Nicholas isn't a rival who needs to aggressively, and passionately, distract Mia from Andrew) with more hesitant beginnings and a growing intimacy as they get closer. But the more time Nicholas spends with Mia - seeing the real her, talking about their future, experiencing those sweet kisses - he just can't help developing earnest feelings. And Mia is slowly won over by the "fake" Nicholas - who might be more real than even Nicholas himself is aware.
Or maybe Nicholas isn't actually trying to get Mia to fall in love with him, as the plan isn't to really get married. But as they get to know each other, and slowly become closer, the burgeoning feelings in his chest mean he ends up being very tender with her. And maybe he can see that she's really falling for him?
How and when does Mia find out the truth? Does Nicholas tell her, on their wedding day or just before, because he refuses to trick her into marriage - explaining the truth, professing his love, and offering to marry her anyway so she can get the crown, even if (he thinks) she doesn't love him back? Or maybe he does it earlier, giving them the opportunity to enjoy a real engagement, even if they have to hide it from his uncle? Or maybe Mabrey realises Nicholas has fallen in love, and fears his nephew might go through with the wedding - so engineers a situation where Mia discovers the plan? However she finds out, Mia would understandably be hurt - how quickly can Nicholas convince her that his love is genuine?
Obviously this would change a lot of events from the film, as Mia and Nicholas wouldn't be arguing all the time, and Mabrey presumably wouldn't be trying to sabotage her either. (Would he?) But Mia would still need to attend the same events and take part in the same Genovian traditions. How would they go with Nicholas supporting her? What does this world's version of the archery tutoring scene look like? What's it like dealing with the press attention together? And when Mia realises she's falling in love, what are her conversations like with Clarisse or Lilly? If Nicholas is also living at the palace in this version, maybe they have even more little encounters - hanging out and chatting, reading together, him cooking for her. (And do Mia and Nicholas end up hiding in a closet together for other reasons? Even if Nicholas doesn't want to fuck her when he's still deceiving her.) Maybe Mia still takes a stand and gets the marriage laws changed, even if she and Nicholas tie the knot in time - although if you want Joe/Clarisse to still get married too, I'm down with that.
There are so many possible scenes and snippets you could deal with here, from their romance, to an argument and reconciliation, to their wedding and even their wedding night - or beyond. These two make such a great couple and I'd love to see the journey they'd have if Mia was arranged to marry Nicholas, and they fell in love that way.
Does Mia have something small and plain, like a brown mouse, which used to hide in her pocket before she discovered she was a princess, and maybe sometimes still does? Maybe Mia has a cat daemon, constantly falling off things and then acting like it meant to do that? (Maybe Fat Louie is her daemon?) Maybe all the Renaldis have large, powerful felines as daemons, and Mia couldn't work out why she had a puma - until she discovered the truth? Maybe discovering she was a princess was enough of a shock to her sense of self and her future plans that her daemon resettled, and they're both still a little self-conscious about that?
Does Nicholas have a dog daemon, happy and playful but with a fierce growl? Or a wolf, which occasionally reveals its soft belly? Maybe a fox, flirty and clever, but with a soft and playful side? Or maybe, as an heir to the throne, he has a very regal daemon, like a lion - more regal than Mia's, which she initially resents? Maybe his uncle's betrayal - and rejecting all contact with the man who raised him as a result - is traumatic enough for Nicholas's daemon to resettle? (Maybe going from a wolf to a dog, now that he's choosing to be a kinder person, now that he's experiencing real romantic love for the first time?)
I'm also interested in how each person interacts with their daemon, with the other's daemon, and how the daemons interact with each other. Do their daemons fight when Mia and Nicholas argue - but also cosy up in quiet moments, before the two humans realise they're in love? Do they seek more counsel from their daemons, instead of Clarisse or Lilly or Mabrey, and so get a clue about their feelings much earlier? When is the first time they allow each other to touch their daemons - and does it become a routine thing, for reassurance or comfort? (Also, does Fat Louie ever cuddle up with their daemons?)
What if Genovia existed in a magical world instead? You could do a plot similar to the movie, with Mia and Nicholas as rival heirs to the crown - but what changes once magic is involved? Instead of archery, maybe there are magical trials that Mia has to undergo? Is Mabrey trying to sabotage her progress - and does Nicholas end up helping her? Maybe they end up on a quest together, because Nicholas is searching for the same magical artifact, but they slowly merge from rivals to allies?
Instead of an arranged marriage to Andrew, is there a tournament to win Mia's hand - and does Nicholas end up competing? (And winning? But maybe first he gets injured, resulting in some unexpectedly tender hurt/comfort with Mia?) Maybe it's not a law that unmarried queens can't rule - maybe the crown itself is magical, and would reject her, and so Nicholas has to marry her. (And they have to consummate that marriage in a magical ceremony, even in public?) What kind of duties does Queen Mia have to undertake once she has the crown, and how can Nicholas help her with them?
Or you could do a plot that's much more different to canon. Maybe they're dragon riders, competing to be the new leader of their battalion? Rival students at Clarisse's magic academy? Maybe Mia's protesting Mabrey chopping down a magical forest, and Nicholas slowly comes to agree with her? (Maybe Mia's even a druid with nature magic.) Or clumsy Mia breaks an artifact or interrupts a ritual, and unleashes some dangerous magic - and Nicholas is the bantery knight assigned to help her set things right. If it fits with your idea and your world, you could even slip some daemons in here - or make them soulmates! (Soulmarks! Shared dreams!) But I just want to see the Mia/Nicholas dynamic with added magic, whether it's spells or artifacts or just a wondrous world.
Genovia but with Regency vibes! Could be an actual regency, with Clarisse holding the crown until Mia reaches 21, or just "canon but with regency aesthetics/social mores/concerns". How much does that change the plot? Would Mia rebuff Nicholas even harder, as they go through rounds of lively balls and genteel dinners? When Nicholas kisses Mia by the fountain, or they get caught in the closet together, does that compromise Mia's reputation - and the scandal means she has to immediately get married to Nicholas instead of Andrew? (Was Nicholas's plan to ruin her - but when he sees the consequences for her, he can't bring himself to abandon her, and now has to woo a very angry wife? Maybe his kinder behaviour, and the fact he shares a bed with Mia every night without trying to touch her, means she slowly softens towards him - until she's ready for them to tenderly consummate their marriage.) Or maybe Mia manages to avoid a scandal, but parliament's Regency attitudes mean she can't convince them to change the marriage law - forcing her to go to the altar. But Nicholas can't bear to see her marry Andrew, and insists on becoming the groom himself?
Pavel Chekov/James T. Kirk
Chekov is so fucking adorable. I love his earnest enthusiasm, his innocence, and his extreme competency despite his age - and how that fits with Kirk, who's older, more traumatised, and chafes against the rules, but strives to protect his crew. They work so well together, and I really enjoyed how much of Beyond was just the two of them out in the wilds, with a slightly more mature Chekov showing he can handle himself in the field.
Would love to see them as a couple, with Kirk's captainly urges to keep people safe translating into him being soft and tender. Does Chekov's enthusiasm carry over into an excitement to share new experiences, from dates in interesting places, to exploring new sexual possibilities with Kirk? Does Kirk initially try to hide his trauma from his younger partner? Or do they spend ages mutually pining, with both thinking the age gap means the other would never be interested? What finally gets them to confess - a bad injury, dubcon sex, or simply an inability to hold it in any more?
If they're having sex due to a dubcon scenario (e.g. sex pollen, omegaverse heat) you can set it any time after Chekov turns 18, but if they're in a romantic relationship please set it during or after Beyond, i.e. when Chekov is 22 or older... unless it's an AU which massively reduces the age gap (e.g. Hogwarts).
(No preference for whether you call them Jim/Pavel or Kirk/Chekov, use what you prefer.)

James T. Kirk/Christopher Pike
I love that Pike was the first one to believe in Kirk - and the one who got Kirk to believe in himself. He finds this young guy losing a bar fight and tells him he can do more, be better, live up to not only his potential but his father's legacy. And Kirk hears that challenge and says no, I'll do even better than that.
But there's a tension between them: Pike encourages Kirk's out-of-the-box thinking and urge for heroics, but also expects him to follow the rules (or at least know which rules to break and when). Kirk wants that approval, wants to excel, but he's used to rebellion and reckless behaviour and is willing to risk more than other people are comfortable with. There's this push and pull where they're trying to find where the line should fall, and maybe that could play into how they are as a couple: not quite sure if their relationship is appropriate or it's going too far, if it's going to make Kirk a better man or screw him up more.
As a captain, Pike seems kind and steady but also willing to make unconventional choices, and he gives Kirk a chance to speak even when he's just stowed away on his ship. Kirk respects him and wants his respect in return but also chafes against the hierarchy of Starfleet. I'd love to see their relationship blossom into more, with Pike being encouraging but maybe also conflicted, and Kirk finding a sense of safety even as he's unsettled by commitment. Or maybe they have to rely on their platonic relationship to get them through a sexual encounter caused by sex pollen or alien demands or an omegaverse heat.
Not looking for daddy kink here but Kirk's daddy issues are welcome. He obviously has some trauma with regards to his father (and presumably his abusive stepfather) and that's part of why he is the way he is. But with everything that happens in space, they probably both have some trauma due to the terrible things they've seen, maybe even PTSD, and that could play into some hurt/comfort.
I didn't specifically request canon divergence or a fix-it, but you are very welcome to change events so Pike lives! And/or maybe Kirk stays as Pike's First Officer? (No preference for whether you call them Jim/Chris or Kirk/Pike, use what you prefer.)

James T. Kirk/Montgomery "Scotty" Scott
I love that Scotty is almost immediately loyal to Kirk, and that Kirk absolutely relies on him to get things done - even when Scotty's already resigned. And Scotty might complain, but he'll still rush to help him. I love how Scotty swings between almost innocent cheerfulness that turns to grumpiness when he feels unappreciated, and the humorous possibilities of that with his charming, flirty, almost reckless captain. Kirk's a good leader, but he's got trauma lurking beneath the surface, and I think Scotty would be kind with that. And they're both brilliant in their own ways. I'd love to see their dynamic play out in an AU, whether they're getting together or an established relationship.

Franklin "FDR" Foster/Tuck Hansen
I love these two and the dynamic they have: working smoothly together, protecting each other in danger, happily declaring their love for each other, bantering, hanging out. They're deeply competitive but deeply loyal, though there's also a fragility to their friendship. They're such different people - smooth, flirty FDR who hides his angsty past, and earnest, romantic Tuck who's longing for love but doesn't know how to find it - but they have such an easy rapport and genuinely like each other. (Except when they don't.)
They also do a lot of terrible things - for their jobs, but also socially - and I'm fine with that being acknowledged, in a "they're the same kind of terrible, and therefore perfect for each other" sort of way. But feel free to ignore that thread, especially if they're not spies in your chosen AU.

Are they two Gryffindors, with Tuck trying to keep reckless FDR under control? Two Hufflepuffs, trying to make themselves seem tougher? Two competitive Slytherins, always wanting to best each other? They could be from wizarding families or muggleborn, whichever works for your story.
Maybe FDR and Tuck are Quidditch players - but keep getting benched for other misbehaviour? Or maybe they always get away with it, so they get to enjoy the team's victories - maybe sharing a kiss in the excitement of celebration? Maybe they're trying to become Animaguses, and have secret practise sessions, or are chasing some other kind of forbidden magic. Maybe they find something mysterious while sneaking around at night on a dare. Or maybe this is a fluffy story, following their daily lives, as they attend lessons and struggle with spells and joke around in the common room together? Maybe Tuck always has to borrow a quill from FDR, but FDR spends so little time studying that Tuck can't work out how he keeps passing his exams.
As spies, they both have to put up a macho front, posturing as being tough and dominant - so neither of them wants to back down. But they also sometimes have to go undercover, and maybe that means neither one can trust that the flickers of attraction in the other one's scent are real? Maybe FDR has so little self-awareness that he hasn't realised the way he feels about his best friend is different to other alphas. Maybe Tuck knows what he feels, but FDR's oblivious nature means he doesn't want to confess. But when one of them is injured on a mission, the other's protective alpha instincts come to the fore?
Does one of them slowly train his hole to take a knot - maybe just as a fantasy, not intending to ever confess his urges? (Until he does.) Maybe they fall into a habit of spending their ruts together, urgently frotting against each other, but both are afraid to ask for anything else. Maybe one drunken night, they make a bet - and the loser will have to submit to the winner.
ALL: Omegaverse AU - Alpha/Omega
I loved how the time loops worked in this show, and a secret organisation that prevents the end of the world is an easy jump from FDR and Tuck being CIA agents. Feel free to pick another date/time for the save point, it doesn't have to be July 1. You could set this in the UK, as in the show, or in the US, like the film. I just want them being badass agents with extra time loop shenanigans going on.
How do they deal with the trauma of what they see, and then all those things being undone? Is it only when one of them dies - and the other thinks the world isn't going to be reset - that they realise they have feelings for each other? But then it is reset, and they're reunited. An angsty get together in the wake of that would be great. Hurt/comfort too, following that or one of them being injured. Maybe one of them is seriously injured, and they have to battle through, getting the info that will save the world on the next loop.
Or maybe a more humourous look at the setup: does FDR get really bored in the downtime due to repeated loops? Maybe they use the extra time to practise pool - only getting more competitive with each other as they both improve. Maybe they carry on their banter through a reset, one delivering a line just before they go back, the other the moment they arrive months ago. Maybe, after they get together, they decide to fuck through the save point.
The show never revealed what the process for initiating a reset was, except that Wes said “it's not a machine” (but she's Wes, so she could be lying). I kinda always wondered if it was a person, if there's someone out there who can just trigger it with their mind, but it could be anything. If you want to invent an answer, that'd be one avenue for a plot, or maybe you could use the twist in series two and have them figure out real time travel, and jump back to a year full of resets for some reason. But I'd be happy with just basic shenanigans of “FDR and Tuck as Lazarus agents, saving the world via time loops” - as long as they're both alive at the end!
Amaya/Magnifico of Rosas
I loved the soft relationship these two had. Calm, confident, practical Amaya organising things to smooth Magnifico's work, but also gently steering and comforting him when he's tempted by darkness. Focused, arrogant, brilliant Magnifico dazzling his subjects, but revealing a softer and more vulnerable side when alone with his wife, happily taking her advice.
Despite his downfall, I do believe he really loved her. I kinda felt like they couldn't decide what Magnifico's motivation was - whether he was a purely evil villain powered by arrogance and a need for control, or whether he was a sympathetic antagonist crushed by the pressure of kingship and past trauma. For this pairing, I want that more sympathetic interpretation - even if he's still arrogant, uncomfortable with ceding control, and tempted by things he shouldn't be. I'd love something fun and fluffy (or smutty!) for them, but angst with a happy ending would be good too. If Magnifico still decides to use the forbidden book and becomes corrupted by green magic, please have Amaya (with Asha's help?) find a way to save him from its influence - even if he still has to give up his crown.
I've prompted a fix-it below (where Magnifico doesn't become irredeemably evil and they get a happy ending instead) and I guess "please have Magnifico be a sympathetic figure struggling with past trauma" has shades of canon divergence. But I'd also be interested in other avenues they could take - maybe Amaya begins to question his handling of the wishes, and steers him towards a more relaxed policy, before he ever goes off the rails? (Maybe Asha becomes his apprentice, and that helps too?) Maybe Magnifico breaks down, reveals just how much his trauma has messed him up, and Amaya's tender care helps him become a more balanced person? Maybe he invites her to be his partner in the wish granting, and starts training Amaya in magic, as she finds non-magical ways to help people too. Maybe Amaya discovers that the weight of all those wishes is having a bad effect on her husband, and convinces him to give them up, and grant wishes another way. Maybe an AU where they had children, focusing on them being happy parents? I just want things to work out better for them.
The thing I want fixed is, of course, Magnifico using the forbidden book, becoming corrupted by green magic, getting stuck in a tiny mirror, and Amaya just deciding there's no way to save her husband and abandoning him. So, she manages to convince him not to use the book, just like she did the first time? And she (with Asha's help?) finds a way to get him to open up to her, end his power trip, and establish a better system for granting people's wishes? I don't mind if Amaya becomes queen, or Magnifico stays king - but a calmer, kinder one. Or maybe he still uses the book, but Amaya finds a way to break the green magic's hold on him, saving the kingdom - and her beloved husband. And a penitent Magnifico cedes his crown to her, determined to atone, as they rebuild their relationship?
I just want a happy ending for these two. They were so cute together! And even if Amaya realised he'd turned to evil, the fact that she readily accepted he never really loved her and just decided they were done didn't ring true to me, after how tender she was earlier in the film. And I don't believe that he never loved her, because he was always so soft with her, and I'd like him to get another chance to show his feelings for her. (Even if Amaya could spend a little while worrying that he doesn't love her, and be conflicted about her own continuing love, before discovering he truly does care.)
Feel free to combine this with any other AU for this pairing!
Asha/Magnifico of Rosas
I enjoyed this film, but it left me craving more of certain ideas. Mainly an apprentice Asha AU, Magnifico being softer - or Magnifico being even worse.
I kinda felt like they couldn't decide what Magnifico's motivation was. Like whether he was a purely evil villain powered by arrogance and a need for control, or whether he was a sympathetic antagonist crushed by the pressure of kingship and past trauma. I would love something that grabbed either idea with both hands and committed to it fully. Even if he's a misguided good guy that genuinely cares, feel free to make him arrogant and a bit manipulative - or to turn those traits to the max if he's evil.
Between Asha's interview and them duetting on what was basically a love song, I both shipped these two and really wanted to see them as mentor/apprentice. I love Asha's determination, her compassion, her righteousness, and her quirky goofiness.
Please either make this an AU where Asha is already 18, or have a time skip so she's an adult. And please either give Magnifico and Amaya an open relationship, or make it an AU where they were never a couple... Unless you're going with fully evil Magnifico, in which case I'm fine with him cheating on Amaya and/or nonconning Asha. Otherwise, dubcon or consensual, please.
(If Magnifico's a sympathetic figure who turns to darkness, please leave the door open for redemption. But fully evil Magnifico doesn't need redemption - in fact, I've requested a Villain Wins AU.)
This is another film with Chris Pine as a charismatic villain, exerting control over an isolated and supposedly utopian society, and I'd love to see how the Wish characters deal with the problems of Victory instead - there are parallels, but they're not quite the same, and I think that would be interesting.
So, Rosas as Victory, with Magnifico using manipulation and memory alteration to keep his subjects happy and worshipful? I guess his "magic" would now be an ability to control Rosas's coding, if you want to keep him as a sorcerer. But maybe there's less of a focus on gender, and the male characters don't have any more idea of the truth than the female ones. Maybe, instead of being kidnapped and forced into Victory, everyone willingly entered Rosas - only to become trapped, when Magnifico stole their memories. (If you want to keep the concept of Magnifico granting wishes - and pulling them out of people, making them forget - that could be an interesting twist.)
How does Asha figure out the truth in this world? Maybe there's no Star, and she has to investigate the clues on her own. Maybe Magnifico is less encouraging of Asha's defiance than Frank was of Alice's - but still has that intense, borderline sexual interest in her. (Or outright crossing that line.) Does he try and use memory alteration to keep Asha compliant, even draw her closer to him? Or use his illusions to dazzle her? What happens when she breaks through the brainwashing? Would she go and confront Magnifico, rather than try to escape - as that would leave her mother and saba in his clutches? Amaya is a softer figure than Shelley, so she probably wouldn't stab Magnifico. Do they eject him from Rosas instead? Or somehow break his power, transferring control to Amaya, maybe giving Asha some powers too - and allow a penitent Magnifico to stay as they build Rosas into a real utopia?
Magnifico opens the forbidden book, uses the green magic to force his subjects to submit, and nobody manages to stop him. Maybe Asha goes on the run, hoping to find a way to defeat him - only for Magnifico to capture her and bring her back. Maybe after she loses the fight on the tower, Magnifico throws her in the dungeon. Maybe that fight, with Magnifico using the green magic to throw Asha around, turns into a more dangerous situation than she expected.
I'm very up for noncon here, with a fully corrupted, entirely unrestrained Magnifico taking what he wants from Asha - whether coercing her into it, manhandling her, or using the green magic to pin her and spread her legs. Maybe he even wants to punish her for her "disobedience" - which could involve noncon, or inflicting pain, or other bad treatment. Maybe he uses the wish magic, or other kinds of magic, to fuck with her mind or her memory.
But I could see him taking a softer tack, leaning more towards dubcon, with Magnifico believing he's so marvellous that Asha has to come around eventually. Maybe he keeps her locked up in luxury, eating fabulous meals with her, extolling all his very logical reasons for keeping an entire kingdom in thrall - and slowly grooming Asha into accepting his sexual advances. Maybe she can placate him with kisses, and keeps finding convincing reasons not to go any further. But without any hope of rescue, and maybe with his magic dazzling her, Asha could end up giving in to him - whether the experience turns out to be enjoyable, or she ends up crying as he fucks her.
You could do a plot of Asha trying to escape, but I'm fine with Magnifico's triumph continuing indefinitely. Maybe it's just about Asha learning to survive his attentions - or slowly breaking down under them. Maybe, if he's more gentle with her, she ends up with Stockholm syndrome, and "willingly" submits to his advances. I just want to see an evil Magnifico luxuriating in his complete victory. (Feel free to combine this with apprentice Asha or other canon divergence if you want!)
I feel like half of my Wish prompts in every exchange are for apprentice Asha, but it's just such a rich scenario. Whether Magnifico's a kind master or a manipulative one, there are so many possibilities here.
I'd love something which focuses on the daily routines of their master/apprentice relationship - Asha tending to Magnifico's needs, helping him cast spells, maybe even learning a few basic spells herself once he starts to trust her. Maybe all that time together means something tender develops between them - even if Magnifico holds back out of respect for Amaya, or Asha pines silently because a sorcerer king would never be interested in someone so young. Or maybe there's just respect between them - until something pushes them together.
Maybe an accident with a spell results in an unexpected soulbond, and now they can't be too far apart, or they can feel what the other is feeling. Maybe that accident injures Asha, and Magnifico carefully heals her wounds. Or maybe it douses Asha with kissing pollen, and Magnifico reluctantly but gently helps her through it. Or maybe it's sex pollen, and virgin Asha has an unexpected but intense fuck with kind Magnifico. Maybe the "accident" was actually manipulative Magnifico engineering a situation where she had to be with him. Or he spends months slowly grooming her so that when he makes a move, she trusts him enough to agree - even if she doesn't really understand what he's asking of her.
But I'd also be interested in how Asha being Magnifico's apprentice would affect the plot. Would she slowly discover that not all is right with the way he grants wishes? Is she conflicted about what to do, as in this version she has an emotional bond with Magnifico? Maybe she begins to realise that the weight of all those wishes are having a bad effect on him, and becomes determined to save him from himself. Maybe she begins to see through his mask, and is hurt to realise he's not the kind king she thought he was, but her access as apprentice gives her ways to combat his power that she didn't have in the movie. Maybe she never calls down Star, and only has Amaya to help her - but maybe events are different enough that they stop Magnifico from ever using the forbidden book? Or Asha's experience with magic means she finds a way to free him from his control? Maybe a penitent Magnifico gives up his crown, and begins to train Asha in earnest - sharing his power, relaxing his control, but wryly warning her against the temptations of too much magic.
(Feel free to combine this with omegaverse, a BDSMverse, or a Villain Wins AU!)

- Acts: Anal sex, including het anal. Vaginal sex. Loss of virginity. First time bottoming. Pegging. Strap-ons. Deepthroating. Oral fingering. Kissing during sex. Breastplay (fondling, gently squeezing, kissing). Nippleplay (pinching, kissing, licking).

- Dubcon: Sex pollen. Fuck or die. Sex caused by magic or to perform magic. Pining during dubcon. (Whether they admit their feelings during, after, or not at all.) Having to trust each other with the unexpected intimacy. Worrying about being so vulnerable but being kind to each other and coming out stronger on the other side.
- Size kink and stretching: Big cocks. Painful penetration. Lots of foreplay/prep, slow and gentle penetration so it isn't painful. Large object insertions. Sounding.
- Omegaverse: Alpha/Omega. Painfully big alpha dicks. Knotting. Sexy pheromones. Pheromones that communicate fear, or anger, or other emotions. Alpha pheromones that make the omega feel safe, or protected, or calm.
- An undercover situation requires them to fuck while being watched, but they successfully fake it - except the kisses, the touches, the proximity, and the "is it okay if I..." questions whispered right in each other's ears were all very real. And some of those moans didn't sound fake. Either they're so wound up they fuck for real once they're no longer being watched, or the feelings keep simmering until they boil over later.

ALL: Harry Potter AU - Hogwarts Setting
ALL: Omegaverse AU - Alpha/Alpha
ALL: Omegaverse AU - Alpha/Omega
ALL: Pistilverse

ALL: Ancient Greece | ALL: Greek Mythology

Magical soul animals! This AU is just so appealing to my id. I've read HDM, so if you want to use things like resettling, intercision, etc that aren't often incorporated into daemon AUs, I'm happy for you to do so - but just getting to see my blorbos with cool soul animals would make me very happy.
ALL: Immortal and Repeatedly Reincarnated Mortal

ALL: Requested Character(s) Survive/Do Not Die

All: 1950s AU

ALL: Canon Divergence AU
ALL: Cult AU
ALL: Daemons
Magical soul animals! This AU is just so appealing to my id. I'm really interested in the choice of species for each person's daemon, and how that reflects their personality - or highlights a facet of their personality, as there's usually multiple options that would fit each person. (And don't feel you have to go with one of my suggestions if you have a better idea!) I've read HDM, so if you want to use things like resettling, intercision, etc that aren't often incorporated into daemon AUs, I'm happy for you to do so - but just getting to see my blorbos with cool soul animals would make me very happy.
ALL: Forced Marriage AU

ALL: Teacher/Student at Sex Magic College
ALL: The bad guys win/The good guys fail
ALL: Vampire/Human whose blood they cannot resist

ALL: Harry Potter AU - Hogwarts Setting
ALL: Pistilverse

ALL: Omegaverse AU - Alpha/Omega

Maybe Doric's druid abilities mean her vines/branches are more animated than normal, growing leaves, even showing birds nesting, changing with the seasons - and Simon is fascinated when she casually reveals it, even as he's surprised to see there's no flowers growing on it.
ALL: BDSM - Dominance/Submission/Switch are biologically innate
ALL: Daemons
Magical soul animals! This AU is just so appealing to my id. I'm really interested in the choice of species for each person's daemon, and how that reflects their personality - or highlights a facet of their personality, as there's usually multiple options that would fit each person. (And don't feel you have to go with one of my suggestions if you have a better idea!) I've read HDM, so if you want to use things like resettling, intercision, etc that aren't often incorporated into daemon AUs, I'm happy for you to do so - but just getting to see my blorbos with cool soul animals would make me very happy.
ALL: Harry Potter AU - Hogwarts Setting
Simon obviously comes from a wizarding family, but Edgin could be wizarding or muggleborn, whichever works for your story.
Maybe Edgin (and Holga) is on the Quidditch team - but keeps getting benched for other misbehaviour? Is Simon worried he's a Squib who got let in by mistake? Maybe Simon keeps falling off his broom, and Edgin helps him learn to fly.
ALL: Pistilverse
I love the version where the pistil gets a flower every time they have sex, and when their vines/branches fill up they just shed all the flowers and start afresh. The version where a pistil only gets one flower per partner, and their tattoo grows every time it fills up, can be really interesting with some plots too. Not into the version where having a lot of sexual partners eventually kills you. I also love the version where there's no pistil/stamen division, and everyone has vines/branches on their back and their own flower on their chest, and both partners grow a flower on their back when they have sex.

ALL: Reality TV - Great British Bake Off
I love characters cooking and baking, and this show just has such a wholesome, comforting vibe - with a side order of innuendos.
ALL: BDSM - Dominance/Submission/Switch are biologically innate
ALL: Characters in arranged marriage AU catch feelings
ALL: High Fantasy

ALL: Regency Romance AU

ALL: Harry Potter AU - Hogwarts Setting
There really are so many possibilities here, and I'd love to see what you think would happen to this gang if they were at Hogwarts - there are way more things than I could mention, so go with what inspires you.
ALL: Omegaverse AU - Alpha/Alpha
There are some pairings where I love the idea of alpha/alpha and this is one of them. Competing for dominance, struggling to take a knot, scents clashing in the air... but still finding a way to build a solid relationship, because they're perfect for each other. No bitching (turning one into an omega) please.
I can see the forbidden nature of an alpha/alpha relationship resulting in a lot of mutual pining.

ALL: The Lazarus Project (TV) AU

ALL: Canon Divergence AU
ALL: Fix-it
The thing I want fixed is, of course, Magnifico using the forbidden book, becoming corrupted by green magic, getting stuck in a tiny mirror, and Amaya just deciding there's no way to save her husband and abandoning him.

ALL: Don't Worry Darling (2022) AU
ALL: Omegaverse AU - Alpha/Omega
ALL: The bad guys win/The good guys fail
Wish: Asha becomes Magnifico's apprentice
